Thank you so much! I drew those Skylanders when I was in another nostalgic mood. As you can see, shading, lighting, and perspective still kinda elude me lol. Don't even get me started on digital. Floating heads are my comfort zone; they never let me down.

Aaah thank you so much! I love Bash; he's so blocky and compact. Snap Shot supposed to be saying "later, alligator" because I'm cheesy and like bad jokes. But since the speech bubble and handwriting didn't turn out so good, I cropped it.

I actually had a sketchbook full of Skylanders artwork, but I went through a phase when I was embarrassed and ashamed to have been into the franchise for so long. Trashed 'em.

Thanks Wolf! I try to make my creatures a bit plausible. Not entirely realistic, but passes as something that looks like it could exist in a high fantasy world or some space opera. Looking at the real world helps tons. More often than not real animals are stranger than fiction.

i like all of the details on the feathers! and the pallete is cool
because cool colors but i also think it looks nice

my advice for artschool or college in general is just make sure you know how youre going to pay for it! lol i had a crazy last year of highschool, so i didnt have any plans to pay and am suffering the consequences smilie

I mentioned before that I ship Stink Bomb and Fryno. I just thought it’d be cute, and I call it FireFarts because fart jokes. I thought that maybe they learn from each other—Stink Bomb teaches him mindfulness and meditation, Fryno shows him the best leather jackets and how to lean ominously on walls. Bond over their love of pizza and fine art, recreational activities to distract from anxiety and anger issues respectively. Is it safe to have a walking methane geyser around a flammable source? No. Is that going to stop them from doing donuts or watching romcoms? No.

Monkey man! I should draw apes more often. I was testing the waters with how I imagine Drilla, as in the species of subterranean gorillas in Skylanders, to look. I redesign Skylanders often, because I’m very picky. It also helps to have my own reimagined reference when I write fanfiction or headcanons.
