"Really? What happened to her?" Jay asks

Alpheratz sighed.
"I lost her to illness. Her name was Hinnah. She had a bad cough that I wasn't able to heal her at the time. After that, I became a medical person. I kind of isolated myself from society. I read up on every illness. I'm afraid I don't get out much nowadays."

"My condolences" Jay says with a small nod

Alpheratz smiled a bit sadly.
"Honestly, I don't see what Hinnah liked in me. I'm pretty ugly looking." He jokes, his violet eyes teasing.

Jay laughs "Oh come on, any girl would fall in love with you. You are very good-looking." Jay said

Alpheratz shakes his head with a small laugh.
"Sure. I'm pretty sure that I look like a biker or something like that." He laughed. In a way, he did. He was thin and tall, but muscular, his bangs sweeping over his left eye and his ripped navy blue jeans and black leather jacket adding to the looks.

"Ehh... Haven't really seen any so like I would know" Jay said with a laugh. It was true, she had never really seen a biker in her life

Alpheratz laughed.
"Be glad. They're pretty tough. I used to hang out with a few. Come on, why don't we head back? Xander was sad that he was too weak to chase after you."

Jay nods as she begins to walk in the direction she came

Alpheratz led the way, being a bit of a bodyguard for Jay. They reached the group and Xander smiled. Sachi had been helping him stay in a sitting position. His shirt was stained in his blood, but he was no longer coughing.

Jay ran up and hugged Xander as Jake stood as far away as possible.

Xander embraced Jay happily, tears welling at his eyes.
"I'm sorry I couldn't follow you, but I could barely sit up, more or less stand."

Alpheratz walks to Jake.
"You won't get her forgiveness if you stand away from her. Running isn't a solution." He says.

"It's fine, I don't blame you" Jay replies with a smile

"I don't want to scare her off again though" Jake says with a sigh

Xander smiles and rests his head on Jay's shoulder.
"Thank you for getting my medicine. I thought I was for sure going to die."

Alpheratz shakes his head and pushes Jake towards Jay, folding his arms.
"You won't scare her. Go talk it out."

"You're welcome. I wouldn't let you die" Jay said as she saw Jake out of the corner of her eye. She gasped lightly as she tried to not run.

Jack cautiously walked towards Xander and Jay

Xander held Jay gently. He mouthed a thank you to Alpheratz, knowing what his cousin had done.

"Jay... I'm sorry for trying to kill you..." Jake said

Jay hears the apology, but notices a dagger in his hand "Drop the dagger" She said.
"What? Oh sorry" Jake said as he put the dagger down.

Xander watches the two carefully.

Alpheratz groans.
"Apologize while holding a dagger. Smooth."

Jake tries to apologize again "I am really sorry" He says

"I accept" Jay says simply

Alpheratz smiles and leans against a tree.
"Beautiful. Kawaii."

Jake grabs his dagger as she walks back to Sachi

Jay morphs to wolf form and curls up into a comfy position

Sachi smiles softly.

Xander morphs to his god form and curls up against Jay, laying his muzzle on her neck.

Jay happily rested alongside Xander

Jake rested his head on Sachi's shoulder.

Xander drifts off.

Sachi smiles and lays her head against Jake's.

Alpheratz smiles.
"Young love is nice." He says, his tone dreary.

"You'll find someone" Jake said as he heard Alpheratz.

Alpheratz yawns and shakes his head.
"I doubt it. No one likes me like Hinnah did."

"Hinnah?" Jake says in a confused tone

Alpheratz smiles.
"My old girlfriend. I lost her to illness." He says sadly.

"Oh.. I'm sorry for your loss" Jake says in a sad tone

Alpheratz nods.
"I've been moving on. The pain doesn't hurt too much now." He says. "But, I do wish I had someone."

Sachi laughs and whispers to Jake.
"I heard Jayce say that exact same line."

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking" Jake asked, a plan brewing in his head

Crocorru slithered through the long grass. His mouth agape, he caught a large, wolf-like dog in the bushes. It wasn't much, but then he staggered upon a deer, dead, but a feast at least. Then he went in search of Jay. He could smell her.
"FEAST ON THE SHIFTER!" He snapped.

Sachi looked at Jake.
"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not." She said with a slight grin.

OOC: I was sitting here thinking, Alpheratz has no gf now, but there isn't anyone for him. Wait, Jayce is single... Aw, those two would be adorable. They are both scientists.

"We should try to get Jayce and Alpheratz together!" Jake said in a whisper-yell

Jay opened one eye as she heard Torru.

OOC: Yes~

Alpheratz heard Jake say something, but didn't quite hear it.

Sachi laughed.
"Good luck on that."

"It shouldn't be too hard. We just gotta get the in the same place and get them talking... Okay, this might be harder than I originally thought" Jake said

Sachi laughs.
"Same place, easy. Socializing...well Alpheratz got gunned down with that one."

"We're going to have to get them past 'Hello'" Jake said

"I guess that's not too hard, the only problem is...Alpheratz...is half dragon." Sachi added quickly.

Jake's jaw dropped "ARE WE SERIOUSLY THE ONLY NORMAL PEOPLE HERE!?" Jake yelled, a little bit too loud.

Jay's head popped up as she heard Jake.

Alpheratz opened one eye.
"I'm sorry but I don't get to pick and choose my breed." he growls.

"Sorry" Jake said as he covered is mouth in embarrassment

Alpheratz sniffed indignantly and walked off.
"I'm going for a walk. In my dragon form." he said harshly, directing it towards Jake.

"I'm such an Idiot" Jake grumbled to himself

"Is that really what you think of us? Not normal?" Jay asked, in a sad tone "We may be different, but still" Jay said as her head dropped

Xander could only look down at his bloodstained shirt, totally silent.
"Serge would have punched you for saying that. He would have said he was as normal as everybody else around here." he muttered aloud.

OOC: Alpheratz in dragon form looks like this:

Jay nods "I can't stand to be around someone who doesn't think equally of us" She says in a sad tone as she pads off

"Wait!" Jake calls out "I didn't mean it!" He said

"You say that, but you did mean it. I could hear it in your tone" Jay growled

Sachi shakes her head.
"You two are childhood friends. You need to straighten this out. If you can't, Alpheratz better hear an apology. He's smooth with forgiving chats, believe it." she whispers to Jake. "I'm going to find Jayce."

Xander is silent. He can see Alpheratz in the distance, his head down.

OOC: Fixed post I put Jake instead of Jay for the last part

Jake nods "I'm afraid I've hurt Jay too deeply, but I can try to apologize to Alpheratz" Jake says

Jay rests near a tree, a small tear forms in the corner of her eye. The tear rolls off of her fur and lands with a splash on the ground

OOC: I saw that.

Sachi nods.
"He went North."

Alpheratz sat on the edge of a cliff, looking up at the stars. The scroll around his neck glowed as well as the mark above his head. He sighed.

Xander pulls himself to his feet so he can get to Jay.
"Hey, you okay? You're crying." he says, wiping the tears from her fur with his hand.

Jake nods as he begins to walk in the direction of Alpheratz

"What Jake said hurt... I always thought he didn't care I was a shifter... I thought he was good... It turns out, he's just like everyone else... Not open to differences, and judgmental. He said he didn't mean it, But his tone and body language says different." Jay says saddened
