To the people that say Stealth Elf will be remodelled... Stealth Elf was being played with Tree Rex at one of the previews, although she wasn't in a new pose. Of course, it could be true that they hadn't produced the remodel as a physical figure yet.

We know the regular distribution on Jet-Vac is lightcore where it appears the 3DS one will not be whether we see a different Cynder and Tree Rex fromthe other starter paks is unknown but expect this to be the only way to obtain normal Jet-Vac at least initially as a normal Jet-Vac was not seen on the german site.

Is it comfirmed that Jet-Vac is lightcore.

Probably but not confirmed by Activision.

Mabey instead Fright Rider could be lightcore as the last new lightcore, and the air might be Whirlwind.

The German website confirms Jet-Vac is the air lightcore and not Whirlwind. Although not specifically confirmed by TFB or activision all other information from the german amazon early announcement seems to be right and consistent (including character names). Its safe to accept Jet-Vac is lightcore.

Is it safe to assume Boomer, Sunburn and Ghost will not be getting a remodel or is this all just conjecture. My son is just starting on his skylanders adventure and I'd like to prioritise the characters that won't be remodelled for his birthday and then remodels for xmas.
..is there any evidence that Warnado and Camo won't be? Is it set in stone that three out of four for each element will be remodelled rather than all of some and only a few of the others?

(btw I have to hand it to the devs of Skylanders. I've been playing games for 30 years and IMHO this is a Landmark game with its toy interface. Sure the gameplay elements are not new but for plain gaming fun its good)

It's definitely safe to say and won't be remodeled, but Air, Life, Earth, Water, Magic haven't been decided on who's being left out.
And yes, 3/4 of each element is being remodeled.

Australia recently got the new upcoming Skylanders books, like the novel The Machine of Doom, the sticker books, and guides, early. They don't come out in the UK till August, and in the US, September.

Chop Chop could be the lightcore(Vampiric Sword) because it is in a battle pack with shroomboom, which is a lightcore so there could be a non lightcore battle pack and a lightcore battle pack.

it would make more sense for them to give out one lightcore in the battlepacks.

I think its already come up that the battle packs will contain on pvp level and two exclusive characters. I assume we will see the non lightcore shroom boom in this pack as for chop chop it could be another color variant an inication that its the unead lightcore or simply the only way to get the series 2 Chop Chop design its still too early to know. However, I would not expect any lightcores to be found in the battlepacks

I actually didn't know that the machine of doom was out! I already got the others, but I've been looking for that one and couldn't find it! (maybe I'll look for it again this week)

Well seeming how July is almost over there can't release that much. We can't get a precise DATe because it depends on the magazines like Nintendo power and gameinformer. Also we have to wait for acti or TFB to announce more. Hopefully by September it should all come all together. These next two months should have big reveals.

So, it looks like his powers are swiping at at enemies with his claws, shooting bolts of what seems to be electricity, and flying. He also seems to perfrom a combo.

I fully expect that all the giants will be slower than their regular skylander peers, with a few exceptions such as a boost/dash skill or something. This franchise may not put all that much value in balance, but something has to make you use non-giant characters aside from tight spaces where the big guys can't fit through.

Not the same target audience at all, so I don't think that they even consider this as a competition...

Sundays is a common release date here in the US, at least from what I've seen. Midnight releases usually on Saturday/Sunday, and general release at store open.

Pokemon has done this since at least Platinum.

im going out sunday morning and getting it. hope i can get a good cast of characters with it on day 1.
