The male left the cave and looked about.

Fireflight layed down in the cave. she looked over at the dragon before laying her head down.

"Starfire, why don't you go on back to the cave? you can talk to your mom, and check on that friend of yours." Marina suggested.
"i guess....." she muttered. "but what about you?"
"i have something i need to take care of....." she said, looking away.
"oh..... well, uh, i'll head back... see ya..." she said, getting up.
"bye..." Marina said before Star walked back to the cave. then she got up, and took a dive into the water.

The male walked past her as he left.

Starfire approached the cave, and walked in just as Fireflight was closing her eyes to rest. Star quietly walked past her, and sat down beside Nightfire. she sighed as she looked at him.
Marina swam down into the depths, and soon entered a small underwater cave.

He led unmoving and didn't look like he would wake anytime soon.

Star sighed again, and then placed her paw gently on his.
Marina swam into the cave. a part of the cave was above the water, and she swam to the surface. she took a breath of air, and swam to shore. she climbed up out of the water, and looked around for a moment.

It was quite warm despite what had happened.

Star then layed down beside him. Fire had fallen asleep.

Marina looked down a long, dark tunnel.
"hello?" she called. then there was the sound of footsteps. soon a male dragon stepped out from the tunnel, and looked at her. he looked much like Marina, though his scales were turqouise. he had jade colored eyes, and he smiled as he looked at Marina.
"Marina, i haven't seen you in a while. how've you been?"
"busy, Merrick, very busy. i met some dragons, and i'm helping them take care of someone."
"oh? what happened?"
"i don't know. but they seem to know him."
"and who are they exactly?"
"well, there's a red dragoness named Fireflight, her daughter, a purple dragon named Starfire, and a black feathered dragon."
"i see. well, i'm glad you stopped by."
"i happened to be near here, and decided to visit."
"well, i'm always happy to see you." he smiled.
"i know, Merrick." she said.

The male had since left the area.

Marina glanced down at the water.
"is there somewhere you need to be?" he asked. she looked at him.
"yeah, i probally should be with my friends."
"i see..." Merrick muttered. "then go if you need to..."
"maybe you could come and meet them..." she suggested.
"really?" he asked, smiling.
"sure, why not?" she cracked a smile.
"alright, let's go then." he said. then they left the cave.

Nightfire laid still.
OOC: Now where's Zenith gone? Surely he hasn't left them

ooc: eh, he won't really be missed

Marina and Merrick swam up to the shore. they got up on the beach, and shoke off soem of the water.
"so, which way?" Merrick asked.
"over here." Marina answered, leading him to the cave.
Fireflight started snoring. Starfire rolled her eyes, and then looked at Nightfire.

OOC: Hey, he's cool in one sense

He still was unconscious. Someone had watched what was going on, writing it down aswell.

ooc: yeah, in one sense at least

"it's right here." Marina said as they approached the cave.
"i see." Merrick said as he looked inside.
"well, don't just stand there, go in." she told him.
"hello?" Star asked, hearing voices.
"it's just us, Star." Marina said, walking in. Merrick was behind her.
"us? you left alone and came back with a boyfriend?" she asked.
"well, uh......." Marina stammered. both she and Merrick blushed.
"oh, i see. anyway, come on in." she said. Marina walked over to them, and sat down. Merrick followed, and sat down beside her.

They saw the two go in, wondering who they had brought inside. The dragon jumped down and carefully approached the cave from the side, trying to hear the conversation and try see who they had brought in.

OOC: And not Zenith

ooc: uh huh. sure.

"so, who's your friend?" Star asked.
"uh, Starfire, this is Merrick. he lives in the water like i do."
"nice to meet you." he smiled, holding up his paw. Star shook it.
"same here." she said. "in case you haven't figured it out, i'm Starfire. that there is my mom," she pointed to Fireflight. "and this is Nightfire," she said, looking at Night.
"i see." he smiled. "well, i'd liek to meet your mother, if she wakes up." he chuckled lightly.
"yeah, she must be tired. so, Marina, where'd you guys meet?" she asked.
"well, we met a logn time ago when we were kids. our parents were friends. we would often play in the water together." she said.
"yeah, we were inseperateable. at least until a couple years ago when she started dating a landlubber. he hated me and the water, and i hated him back."
"but i later dumped him." Marina added.
"oh, i see. you know, i had a friend that i grew up with. his name was Comet." she smiled softly.

They couldn't see the body, but moving to the other side could risk them being seen. They thought before quickly darting across the front and keeping hidden for a minute.

"Comet, huh? a fire dragon?" Merrick asked. Star shoke her head.
"nope. he was a silver dragon, which is like an ice dragon."
"ice dragon?" he asked, a bit surprised.
"why do you sound so surprised?"
"oh, don't mind him. he hardly ever leaves the water, so he doesn't know what goes on in the world." Marina said.
"hehe, that's true." he chuckled lightly. "i just don't see a reason to leave the water."
"ah, so i guess you don't know anything about silver dragons or gold dragons or anything like that?" Star asked. he shoke his head.
"nope. never heard of them."
"huh. wierd. everyone knows the gold dragons."
"well, not me." he said. then Fireflight slightly opened her eyes.
"oh, Mom, nice of you to join us." Star smiled.
"..............wha...........?" Fire moaned, sleepily.
"Fireflight, this is Merrick, a friend of mine." Marina said.
"hi. nice to meet you." he said, smiling.
"...............hi.................." Fire muttered. then her head drooped to the floor, and she began snoring.
"hehe, you might want to try talking to her when she's more awake." Starfire chuckled lightly.

They saw the face and looked in amazement.
'How could he still be alive?' They whispered

"yeah, you may be right." Merrick chuckled.
"how's he doing?" Marina asked, looking at Nightfire. Star looked at him also.
"about the same. he hasn't moved, but his body does feel warm." Star said, sounding worried.
"i'm sure he'll be fine." Marina said. Starfire looked at her.
"you think so?" she asked, sounding a bit hopeful.
"yeah, i do." she nodded. Star cracked a smile, and then looked back at Nightfire.
"so....uh.....what happened to him...?" Merrick asked, seeming to feel uncomfortable. both of the girls looked at him.
"we don't really know what happened to him." Marina answered.
"oh.........well, i hope he gets better....." he said.
"thank you..." Star said, quietly.

They listened before sneezing.

Merrick turned his head back towards the entrance.
"what was that?" he asked.
"what was what?" Marina asked.
"i thought i heard something."
"like what?" Star asked.
"it sounded like a sneeze."
"someone's watching us?" Marina asked.
"apparently."
"but who?" she asked.
"i could guess......." Star muttered.

They heard, just about to leave to not be spotted

"should we go see who's there?" Marina asked.
"well, i don't know about you, but i'm going out there." Merrick said, getting up. he started walking towards the cave entrance. Starfire looked at Fireflight. she began to shake her gently to wake her up.

Can I do it?

The person quickly flew up.

Merrick looked outside.
"well? do you see anyone?" Marina asked.
"nope. must be imagining things." he shrugged. he then walked back inside. Fireflight groaned, but was still asleep. Star left her alone.
"well, i guess my mom can keep sleeping then." she said.

They waited before no one was there, carefully landing.

"are you sure no one was there?" Marina asked.
"positive." Merrick answered.
"they could have moved before you went out there. someone is watching us, and listening in on us." Star said.
"but who?" Marina asked.
"i can make a guess, and i'll probally be right. and if i am, it can't be good..."

They listened still.

"then tell us. who is it?" Merrick asked.
"i don't know for sure. but i do have a pretty good idea. i doubt either of you will know him."
"him?" Marina asked.
"...........Zenith......." Starfire whispered.

They were quiet, but realized they wouldn't get much more.

Fireflight's eyes opened wide after hearing that name. everyone turned to look at her. she raised her head, and looked around.
"are you sure......?" she whispered to Starfire. she shoke her head.
"could be anyone..." she whispered back. Merrick and Marina were quiet. they had no idea who Zenith was.

They peeked to see if anyone was comming.

everyone sat in silence, looking at each other.

They watched, hoping not to be seen

they continued to sit in silence.
"ok, who is this Zenith guy?" Merrick broke the ice. everyone turned to look at him.
"shhh!" both Star and Fire shushed him.
"what?" he asked.
"shh!" they continued.
"what's so bad about him?" he whispered. Starfire and Fireflight looked at each other quietly.

'nothing..' They said very quietly to themself.

"well? if there's nothing bad about them, then i say let him in." Merrick said.
"what?!" both Star and Fire were shocked.
"you heard me. if he wants in, then let him. unless you can tell me something bad about him." he said. the girls were silent. "fine. then i'll go let in our guest." he continued. then he got up, and headed for the entrance.

They didn't want to be spotted, so went to fly off again, but this tinmea bit late

Merrick walked outside. he spotted a glimpse of the dragon.
"hey! you!" he yelled. "i know you're out there! i know you're listening in on us! if you want in, all you have to do is ask! i don't know who you are, or what you want, and frankly, i dpn't care! but i know you can me! and i'm pretty sure you're here about that dragon in there! so, why don't you come in, and see what's going on? what do you have to lose? you're not scared of us, are you?" Merrick hollered. Starfire and Fireflight gasped. Marina was silent.

The dragon looked and thought, but wasn't dumb and knew Starfire and Fireflight were inside, but this was an open invitation. They thought before landing. IT was a black girl.

Merrick was a bit surprised, but smiled in a friendly way.
"hello there. to be honest, i was expecting someone else, but at least i know what our little guest looks like. i'm Merrick. but you might already know that. you must have some questions. feel free to ask. i may not know every answer though." he said. Fireflight and Starfire listened and watched from inside, a bit surprised it wasn't who they thought it was. Marina listened as well, wondering who the dragon was.

'Gabbriella.'

OOC: DUN DUN DUUUH!!!

"that's a pretty name." Merrick smiled. Marina frowned a bit. Starfire snarled softly. Fireflight kept listening.

ooc: what is this, a dramatic film?

'Thank you.' She smiled back.

"and you have a pretty smile." he said. Marina frowned with every compliment. Starfire continued to snarl. Fireflight just listened closely.

'Are you trying to get a date or something?'

"well, uh, no..." he said, seeming to be a bit nervous. "i, uh, i was just wondering why you've been out here listening in on me and my friends."

'Interested in your little chat.'
