Starfire faced the other way while Fireflight and Marina sat quietly.

He looked.
'I'll need something to tie the wounds up with.'

"umm.... there is a little bit of wire over here..." he walked over to a group of rocks and pulled the coil of wire from between two rocks. "it might work... for now.."

'Not flexiblee enough..'

"yeah... its kinda thick..." he tossed it back onto the ground. "hmmm... what could be used... thread is probubly not strong enough..."

'It doesn't have to be, just small and flexible..... we need to hurry up here...'

Marina dug through her bag, and got out a piece of thread.
"here." she said, handing it over.
"you brought thread too?" Star asked.
"like i said, i wanted to be prepared."
"well, what don't you have in there?"
"hey, this isn't important right now." Fire said.

He looked before using bits to tie up some larger wounds.

Fire and Marina sat quietly. Star still wasn't looking.

He tried looking for anything else he could try heal.
'I need something hard but thin..'

"will black ice work?" frost asked almost as soon as the question had been asked.

"i don't have anything like that with me, sorry..." Marina said as she checked her bag.

'It can't melt or be too cold.'

"hard but thin..........hard but thin........" Starfire muttered, trying to think of something. Fireflight looked around, and saw a thin piece of bark laying on the ground.
"would this work?" she asked, picking it up.

He looked to it, then bending it slightly.
'No, would snap easily given the right cercumstances.'

Fire dropped the bark, then continued looking. Marina looked as well.
"Star, get up, and help us." she she.
"i'm thinking." Star moaned.
"now, Star." she insisted. Star got up, and looked around.
"i don't see anything that's hard but thin. except these funny looking pieces of rock." Star said. Fire and Marina looked.
"hard but thin...." Marina muttered, examining the rocks.
"would this work?" Fire asked, pickign up a piece.

He looked to it.
'Pass it here a sec..'

Fire handed him some pieces of rock. Marina sat pateintly. Star turned away.

He looked to it before trying to bend it.
'This should do..'

"alright, good." Fire said. Marina was still sitting quietly. Starfire started to hum.

He started doing more stuff to the body.

Starfire began humming louder. she rocked back and forth, still facing the other way.
"Star, do you mind?" Fire asked.
"yes, i do mind. humming keeps my mind off of the body."
"just ignore her, Fireflight. it's not her fault she's a tad squimish."
"i'm not squimish!" Star snapped at Marina.
"Star, continue humming." Fire said. Starfire continued humming with a sour look on her face.

He continued.
'About as much as i can do...' He said. He then started tying the opening up before cleaning the body's face.

"so, you're done...?" Starfire asked as she slowly started to turn around.
"you can look now Starfire. he's not doing anything at the moment." Marina assured her.
"ok, good." she said, turning fully around.
"will he be ok?" Fireflight asked, concerned.

'Only time will tell....' HE looked to the now regocnizable face

"i hope he'll be ok..." Fire muttered.
"me too..." Marina said. Star was quiet.

'Hey, does the face seem familiar to you guys?' He looked to them

each one looked at the face.
"i don't reconize him..." Marina said. Fire and Star gazed in silence. "Fireflight? Starfire? do you reconize him?"
"i've never seen him before..." Starfire muttered. then she turned away. Fire glanced at her, and then looked back at the body.

OOC: Hey, atleast let me describe the guy first

He looked.
'Sure?'

ooc: hehe, oops. i guess i got a little carried away. well, i gotta go. bye.

Marina looked at Fireflight.
"well? does he look familiar to you?" she asked. Fireflight didn't answer as she continued to look at the body.

OOC: Aww

The wounds on the head made it difficult, but parts seemed to resemble Nightfire.

ooc: eh, one more post wouldn't hurt.

Fireflight then gasped.
"what is it? do you know him?" Marina asked.
"uh, maybe, kind of....." she muttered, looking back at Starfire.
"what do you mean? do you reconize him?"
"i do if he's who i think he is....." she said. then she turned around. Starfire sat towards the cave entrance, gazing outside. she seemed lost in thought.

OOC: 2?

The male looked.

"Starfire?" Fire asked, quietly. Star didn't respond. "Starfire? hey, Star. are you ok?" she asked. Star remained silent.
"what's going on?" Marina asked.
"i think i know..." Fire muttered.

IThe male watched.

"Starfire?" Fireflight started walking towards her. Starfire didn't responde. "Star, don't ignore me. you know i hate that."
"maybe she's just........thinking really hard..." Marina said.
"Star isn't much for thinking......." she replied. "Star. hey, Star. Starfire! answer me!" she insisted. Star lowered her gaze from the sky, and slightly turned it so that she could see Fireflight out of the corner of her eye.
"i can hear you..." she muttered. her voice much softer than normal.
"well, that would have been nice to know sooner. what's going on? you ok?"
"fine........just fine......." she said, turning her gaze back to the stars.
"you can't fool me, Star. i know something's up." she said. Starfire was silent. "it's him, isn't it?" she finally asked.

The male still watched

"Starfire? well?" Fire asked, starting to get impatient.
"well what.....?" Star muttered.
"is it him? is it who i think it is?"
"and who would that be........?" she asked, as if she could care less.
"you know who i mean. you've known him practically your whole life. you went through a tough time with Comet because of him. your daughter has been wondering where he is, and you mean to tell me that you don't know who i'm talking about? Star, be serious. use your head. better yet, use your heart. i know you remember. your daughter would."

He watched silently.

Marina sat in silence. Starfire got up, and turned around slowly.
"alright........i rememeber........so what........? he's been gone a while........what do you expect from me.........?" she said, unemotionally.
"i expect you to be happy that we found him..........Nightstar will be when she see's him........"
"if she see's him........i'm not going to show my daughter a dead body......."
"now, Star, we don't what will happen........he may survive......."
"and he has just as good a chance of dying.........no point getting attached now if he's going to die........."
"Star, i've seen many deaths of the ones i cared about, and i stayed by thier side the whole time........i expect you to the same now........i know you must still love him........."
"i'm not much for sad goodbyes.........." she muttered. then she walked out of the cave.

The male looked to Nightfire.
'He hasn't gotten anything too serious in my mind..'

Fireflight sighed as she turned her gaze to him.
"well, you're not Starfire........i can't imagine what she's feeling......." she muttered.
"ok, what's going on? because honestly, i am lost." Marina said, with a puzzled expresion. Fire looked at her.
"it's a long story.......and i mean that........." she said. meanwhile, Starfire was walking along the beach, staring down at the sand.

'I'm guessing he was her boyfriend?'

Fireflight nodded.
"though that was an easy guess........"
"i'll have to admit she's right. especially when a child was mentioned." Marina said.

HE thought.
'Actually... I should leave, I have to do something..'

"like what?" Marina asked.
"you know, i should go too......i need to go find Star......" Fire muttered.
"you're leaving too?"
"you don't mind, do you?"
"well, no, i can stay here, but do you really think you should go?"
"what do you mean?"
"Star seemed pretty upset. she may not want to talk to you."
"she's my daughter, she doesn't have much of a choice."
"she does when she's a mother herself." she said. Fire sighed.
"i still think someone should talk to her..."
"maybe i could. i mean, there's no tension between us or anything."
"yeah, but would she trust you?"
"hmm, good point."

He thought.

"go talk to her anyway, Marina. i'll stay here and take care of our guest." she said. Marina nodded.
"alright, i'll talk to her. i won't be gone long." she said. then she walked out of the cave.

The male looked before getting up.

Marina walked outside, and soon found Starfire sitting on the beach. she walked over to her.
"may i sit down?" she asked, politely.
"it's a free world. there isn't a rule that says you can't." she said.
"i was asking for permission to sit beside you, and perhaps engage in afriendly conversation." she said, nicely. Star glanced at her, and scoffed.
"who are you, an elder, or something? just act normal." she said.
"well, all right then." Marina said. then she sat down. "so, how are you feeling about all this?"
"oh, so now you're a shrink, or something?" Starfire scoffed.
"well, if you don't want me here, then i'll leave." she said, getting up.
"oh, stay." Star groaned.
"no. not if you are going to be rude and sarcastic about it. besides, i can tell that you don't want me here."
"of course not. my mother sent you to talk to me."
"how do you know? i could have come out here on my own without her having a say in it."
"no, you couldn't have. she has to have a say in everything. especially in everything that i do."
"well, she's your mother." she said, sitting back down.
"exactly. she's my mom, not a prison gaurd. she can't be so strict all the time. i mean, i'm a mom now too. i can't be treated like a kid."
