Well then! I am gonna post a story that has NOTHING to do with the chapter story I'm putting a hold on. Enjoy!

"That's the Last Straw"
It was a nice, warm spring afternoon, as all the allies planned to have a nice picnic near the lake.
Each agreed to do something out of the list they made. Dawn and Wanderist made the sandwiches and fruit salad. IceWind and FireStar made slushies plus drinks, and Rookie went off to buy utensils. Finally, and unfortunately, Silver and Sally baked some small deserts.
“Ugh!” Sally groaned, “this is stupid!”
“What is?” Silver asked, “having to bake?”
“No! The fact that I'm stuck with you!”
“Well, be that as it may, it's not forever,” he commented, “now, are you gonna help with mixing the ingredients?”
Sally sighed and replied, “Yeah. Sure.”
Silver began to mix the ingredients, as Sally poured in the mix and added the eggs to make cookies. A minute later, the ingredients were well mixed, as Silver turned off the mixer—while picking it up. Some of the dough splattered on the counter and some on Sally's face. She got angry and yelled, “Silver! You idiot!”
I'm sorry! I didn't know it would do that.”
“Ugh!”
“What's with you?!” he yelled as he placed the mixer down, “you explode over something
so small!”
“You make it seem big!”
“That's your point-of-view!”
Sally grunted loudly and dipped her claw into the bowl.
“Wha-what are you doing? Your gonna make a mess!”
“You made a mess ever since you joined us!” Sally then threw it towards him; but Silver quickly teleported out of there.
“You always do that!” she yelled, “Get back here!”
Silver then re-appeared behind her, took the bowl, and tapped her shoulders, “You want this?! Well too bad!” as he then teleported again.
“Give it back so I can stuff it up your brain. That's if you have one!”
He re-appeared without it and grinned.
“Where is it?”
“Somewhere.”
“Well, bring it back!”
“Not until you calm down!”
“Ugh!”
“This is suppose to be a nice picnic!”
IceWind stormed in with FireStar behind her and yelled, “What the heck is going on in here?!”
“He's screwing up with the baking!”
“I've done nothing! I made only a slight mistake and she goes all hay-wire on me!”
“Well, keep it down! We're almost done, and you two dim-wits are just screwing around!”
“This is suppose to be a nice day,” FireStar said in a low tone.
Silver sighed and told her, “And it will be; promise you that,” as he then looked at Sally.
She sighed as well and said, “Yeah. We promise.”
~~Everyone was ready, as they packed their food and utensils.
“Uh...Rookie?” Dawn questioned.
“Yeah?” he said, as he stopped at what he was doing.
“Where's the straws?”
“There over...wait...what?”
You forgot the straws?!” Sally exclaimed.
“What a twit...” IceWind commented.
“Well, since there were already some straws in the drawer, I didn't buy any more.”
“Well, as long we have them, I'm fine with that,” Wanderist smiled.
“Alright! Well then, let's hurry. We wanna stay for the sunset, am I right?!” Dawn exclaimed.
“Yeah!” they cheered.
They all ran off outside, leaving the picnic basket behind.
“Uh, guys?” Sally asked, and then groaned.
Silver's head popped out of the door and said, “So, are you coming or what?”
“Yeah, but the basket—”
“Oh, and don't forget to grab the straws,” he ended and left.
Sally growled and walked over to the drawer, pulled it out, and—without any intention—grabbed some. She stuffed them in the basket and ran off to the group.
~~The two lovebirds laid out a large blanket under a tall tree—that provided much shade. It had a great view of the lake, and as well for the sunset that they will see. They sat around the picnic basket, as Dawn passed out the plates as FireStar helped along with the other utensils. Wanderist handed out the sandwiches as they also helped themselves with the fruit salad. IceWind was kind enough to pour everyone's cup with cold iced-tea. She also handed out the straws that Sally unintentionally grabbed from the drawer. IceWind gave one to Rookie, as she reached to grabbed, she thought, another straw. She had a confused look on her face, as she looked deeper into the basket.
“What's wrong Ice?” Wanderist asked.
“There....seems to be.....” IceWind began.
She looked up and then emptied out the basket as some napkins floated out and the box of fresh-baked cookies fell out; FireStar chuckled. She turned over to Rookie who already began to eat his sandwich and was about the drink out of the straw.
“That's the last straw!!!!” she yelled, pointing at the straw.
“Uh...” Rookie said, looking at the cup.
“Give it to me!!” IceWind said.
“No, I need it!” Rookie replied.
“You fatso! Give it here!”
Rookie then ran off with his cup as IceWind ran after him. Dawn and FireStar tagged along, laughing, and Wanderist yelled at IceWind, “IceWind, it's only a straw!” as she too ran after the others.
Silver and Sally looked at each other, laughed, and went off eating. Silver then reached over to the box and grabbed it.
“Want one?” he offered Sally.
“Of course I do!” she exclaimed and grabbed one.
Silver got one as well, held out the cookie, and said, “Cheers! To an unusual picnic day at the lake.”
Sally rolled her eyes and toasted her cookie with his. They continued eating and watched the others still run after IceWind—who still had energy to chase Rookie.
The two then just sat back, with there stomachs satisfied, and watched what the whole group were planning on doing: enjoying the beautiful sunset.
