Glare and Voltaire had been at the back of the group, keeping an eye on the others, though mostly Glare was doing that. When Aretis was mentioned, "He asked, "So who is Aretis?

Shadow turned his head towards Starz, "so why did he leave again?" He asked. The black dragon forgot if he had actually said where he was going.

"I would have thought he would be back by now," Kumara commented.

George started walking up with Starz, "Look, I didn't know any of you before we met with the elder of Ceeador, so I cannot say much. Just know you are not alone, if there is anything you need, we are but a vocal range away," he said as he stood next to her. He seemed quite big compared to her, both being somewhat older and an earth dragon, which made Derrick grin a little at the sight.

"George makes her look like an ant," Derrick stated playfully, "How old is everyone anyway?"

"17" Kumara said simply.
"And I'm 19" Shadow replied.

"I'm about 16, I forget how old Makil is" Kihei said

"I'm only around 16." Glare said, looking uncertain.

"Same." Voltaire nodded, though more confidently.

"That settles that I guess," Derrick chuckled a little as he began to follow Starz, "Well, I'm ready, and I think I will be for a while," he added as he stared walking backwards up the stairs. He turned back around to find himself just behind George and Starz, taking his steps a little slower to gain space between them.

George looked over to Starz, "Will you be alright without him? And this is more than just a sentimental question, its safety related as well," he stated as they began up the stairs.

Kihei stayed with Derrick "Why are you going slower?" He asked in a whisper

Makil walked alongside George and Starz "Lets just hope he is ok" He said

"I'm not looking forward to being smacked in the face by one of their tails, duh," Derrick replied playfully. After a quick moment, he turned to Kihei, "So what did you and Makil do before you guys joined this crusade?"

"Well, I was a prince, but my mom had Makil take me here from my home because of bad people. So we came here and ever since, he made ice sculptures for a job so we could survive" Kihei explained "One day, I wanna go back there, maybe I can see my parents again. I would love it if you would come with"

"Looks like we're in for a fight" Makil said as he heard the noises. There was simply no way of knowing what kind of twisted enemies awaited them

"I'd rather not go up here…" Skyward hissed. "But it looks like we have to, and I'd rather attack them on our terms than theirs. Better than being ambushed."

"Well, we have no choice... And we did sign up for this," Kumara said as she, also, became hesitant at proceeding.

"Well that's just great... How about a distraction? I could use my lightning to lure it away and I'll use my dark to disappear," Kumara suggested.

K'ara nodded and followed, leaping gracefully behind.

Glare and Voltaire had continued to follow behind; Glare had been coming up with possible plans and the like for dealing the mist and the creatures.

"Are we able to go through?" Kumara thought aloud before slowly raising a paw to the 'wall'.

Makil joined them and got ready to shoot them with his light attacks

Kumara hesitated before leaping towards a creature. She did a forward flip, slamming her spiked armoured tail directly on top of its head. steadying herself, she charged a ball of dark electricity and launched it at another creature. The impact caused a mini explosion.
'That's never happened before...' She thought in confusion. when she let her guard down, another creature attacked from behind. She turned but wasn't fast enough to dodge. Luckily, Shadow had noticed and sent a fireball at it, knocking it away.

"Thanks," Kumara said to the both of them before disappearing in a cloud of darkness and appearing behind some creatures. She shocked them and proceeded to the next one.

Kumara turned to help but was blocked by some of the creatures, so instead Shadow bolted towards them and takled the one off Starz's forepaw. He then turned and sent a fireball at the one on her tail.

Makil blasted the creatures that tried to attack him. One jumped on his back and wrapped around his neck

OOC: I'm back a few days ahead of schedule, but who cares!?

George fended off the creatures that got around the others, as well as kept the majority of them from being able to sneak around behind them. Derrick seemed quite scared of the creatures, even with his current energy rush, he hesitated in joining the others, "Derrick, you mustn't be afraid. We are all here, you are not the only one who is scared," George came around, after seeing off two of the creatures, "We are all scared, but it doesn't keep us from doing what has to be done."
