Theo waited for the starting bell to come, nearly bursting with anticipation. "Come on, come on." He muttered.

Ru looked up at his teacher. He couldn't wait for class to start.


Felakkan watched, he wanted to see where this was going.

Nero looked up at the clock, and realizing there was less than a minute left to go, he closed his textbook, put his supplies on his desk, and got ready for class.

"He may not even focus on that, 'cause I'm pretty sure we're going to be late to class." Firefly said. Just then, the bell rang. The eight minutes were up. Any student out of class was now tardy. It was time for class to begin. "Correction, we ARE late." She added.

Mr. Coal Nightdoom put away his book. He got up from his desk, walked around in front of it, and faced his class.
"Well, the day has officially begun. I am Mr. Coal Nightdoom, your english instructor. Since it is only the first day, I am not required to teach you anything substantial. Instead, I am either to remind you of last year's lessons, or waste this precious time getting to know you all. I am not doing either. If you have forgotten what you learned last year, then that is your problem. It is not my responsibility to make sure you remember everything. Nor is it my job to be your best friend. I am simply here to teach, and teach you I will. First off, I have to give all of you a textbook, and a novel. You're going to be doing a lot of reading in this class, so you better get used to it now."

Mrs. Skye Airazor grinned as she faced her students. She spread out her wings and held her head high.
"Class has begun. Let us jump right into it then. The first one to meet me in the sky gets a reward. You may start the race..... Now!" She smiled, and then took off into the sky, almost like a jet. She would be waiting for the winner up high in the sky.

Mrs. Ivy Dewdrop paused. The bell had rung. She was supposed to begin class now. She glanced between Rudu and Felakkan.
"I will leave you with a warning for now. Continue with this behavior, and I will send you straight to the office." She warned.

The new principal, Scarlet Hielfire aka Golda Soulwing, was sitting in her office. She grinned evilly and chuckled a bit to herself. She had already killed the principal and disposed of the body. Now all she had to do was make her announcement and pass out the new textbooks.

" HEY i have a plan! If you go first and say that you where helping others, he will be okey with that for sure... and then i might make it to the class him not noticing me which would be good for anyone really.... Or then i just hope that he really is very gracious today" Red said knowing himself that the idea was stupid.

Heiwa softly hissed back at the two of them, felakkan and rudu, before choosing a seat in the classroom. my, my, my, I already have TWO grudges she thought. This was not exactly the best way to start

Aretis gulped a bit. Disappointing a teacher on the first day is probably not the bets way to start. Forgiveness? What was that even to him? The world doesn't 'forgive'. Anyway, Aretis hurried along, coming up beside Firefly but still following her.

"okay mr. Coal Nightdoom

"Relax, guys. He may not be happy, but we won't get in trouble. I could walk in first and talk to him. I don't mind that. Like I said, Mr. Leafstorm does like me for my work ethic. I always make good grades in his class. And his class isn't easiest to make A's in, because he's so strict and all. But don't worry. The most we'll get on the first day is some kind of lecture. Anyway, we're almost there." Firefly said.

Coming up on the right was another classroom, with Mr. Leafstorm's name on the door. You could hear the teacher talking from the other side of the door. Firefly came to a stop, reaching for the knob and opening the door. As she opened the door, the room fell silent, and the teacher turned his gaze to them.

"You're late, Miss Firefly. And I've never known you to be tardy. That'll be 50 lashes for you and an instant 'F' on today's pop quiz." He said with all seriousness. Firefly smiled as she walked into the room.

"Very funny, Mr. Leafstorm. It's only the first day. There's no punishment and no quiz. Nothing is taken seriously on the first day."

"Well, it appears your mind is intact. What reason do you have for being late to my class?"

"I was helping out some students, sir. One of them is new here." She replied, glancing towards the door briefly.

"Ah, I see. In which case, you're excused. Do try to be on time tomorrow, though." He said. Then he turned towards the door. "Well, young dragons, don't just stand there. Come in, take your seats. It is rude to stand in the doorway and disrupt my class."

Ru shot into the air and flew as fast as he could.

Felakkan looked at Mrs. Dewdrop without a care.

Aretis nodded abruptly and took his seat. But before he did, he whispered at Firefly. "What does he mean by 50 lashes?"

Firefly took her seat beside Aretis.
"Well, the basic idea is to hit someone with like a whip or something similar a certain amount of times for punishment. But don't worry, he was only kidding. He does sort of have a sarcastic side, but it can be hard to tell when he's joking if you're not used to it." She whispered back.

Mrs. Airazor watched and waited as her students raced toward her. One student, a dark blue dragon, sped past the others. He propelled himself forward, flapping his wings with all the strength he could muster. He even knocked some other dragons out of his way, forcing himself ahead.

Just as Mr. Coal Nightdoom was about to hand out his textbooks and novels, the vice principal, Comet Silverdash, entered the classroom, pulling a cart behind him full of textbooks.
"Mr. Silverdash, you should knock before entering my classroom." Coal muttered. He took notice of the cart."What are those books for?"
"New textbooks for all the classes. The new principal demanded it. There's been a curriculum change. Pass these out to all your students. Oh, and the principal should be making her announcement soon." He said, pushing the cart over towards Coal's desk. Mr. Nightdoom sighed.
"Very well. Thank you, Mr. Silverdash." He muttered. Comet nodded and then walked out of the room. Now he had to deliver books to the other classes.

Just at that moment, all students and teachers could hear the feedback of the intercom, even the ones outside. The new principal was about to make her announcement.
"Good morning, everyone. This is your new principal speaking, Mrs. Golda Soulwing. I am excited to be starting a new year with all of you, and I look forward to being the principal here. I have big plans for this school. First things first, there is a curriculum change. New textbooks are being handed out to all the classes as we speak. You may find this new curriculum to be more exciting and interesting than the old one. I certainly hope you all will learn a lot from these new textbooks. After all, they're for the good of the school. You'll all be much more knowledgeable than before. So work hard everyone, and have a wonderful day." She said, cheerily. Then there was a moment of silence.

Ru flew faster, trying to catch up with the blue dragon.


Felakkan wondered what this new curriculum was.

Nero was shocked. A new principal? And what would be more exciting about this year? English had always been his favorite class, and what was this new curriculum? He pushed the troubling thoughts away and waited for the books to be passed out.

Theo looked at the two dragons who had been fighting, then thought better of it and looked away. It was probably best not to get too involved in anything on the first day of school.

"Oh....it sounds kind of painful..." Aretis shuddered a bit taking his seat next to Firefly.

As the new principal announced the curriculum change, Aretis didn't really care too much about it. He didn't really know anything around here anyway, so how could he know it's new stuff anyway. Well, as long as he learned how to fight better...

ooc: um, amazing spyro, have you noticed that my character talked to you, then the two bullies in the class knocked over your chair and nearly burned your book (for theo)

new knowledge perhaps? she thought, perking up, and her expression lightened. i wonder what we will be learning

Nero asked the Vice Principal, "Excuse me, Mr. Silverdash, why is the curriculum different this year?" "It hasn't changed since I first came here."

Lily listened to Nero's question. She had been wondering the same thing. A new curriculum seemed very strange to her.

Rodu shrugged his shoulders. "Whatever," he said to the teacher. He couldn't remember her name. He didn't really care to. Honestly, he wouldn't mind going to the principals office. At least it would get him out of this dreadful class. And he wouldn't mind meeting the new principal. He could feel her out - see what he could get away with. He saw the red dragon who had ruined his fun hissing at him, and only continued to scowl back, raising a brow in question. What would she do, anyway? He watched her take her seat. Maybe he could do something to her. Just then, his thoughts were interrupted by the intercom buzzing to life. It was the new principal. Normally, he wouldn't pay attention, but he really wanted to get a feel for this new principal. He scoffed at her words as he listened. More exciting and interesting - doubtful! Work hard? Yeah right! She sounded like a real education enthusiast. Perfect! He thought to himself sarcastically. Another teacher to shove knowledge down my throat! He slumped back in his chair, quite unhappily.

Theo got up and brushed himself off, picking up his book and his seat. "I wish they hadn't done that." Theo thought to himself.

ooc: Spyro-Gamer, the flight class has started with a race. First one to meet up with the teacher wins and gets a reward. You might want to start flying.

The blue dragon noticed that Ru was starting to catch up with him. He scoffed, and simply picked up the pace.

"I guess it is, but you don't have to worry about that. Mr. Leafstorm won't give out a punishment that severe." Firefly assured him.

Mr. Silverdash stopped at the door and turned to face Nero.
"Well, young dragon, since we have changed principals for the first time in years, it is understandable that the curriculum has changed. I have yet to learn more myself, as she has left me in the dark as well. I only know what my orders are, pass out the new textbooks to all classes. So with that, I must be off to the next classroom. Good day to you all." He gave a slight nod of his head and then left the room.

Mr. Nightdoom grunted and looked at the textbooks and novels that had been dropped off at his classroom.
"The Great War?" He muttered to himself, reading the title of the novel. He sneered at it. "What a barbaric sounding title. Reading a novel written by Icespear would be much better suited for this class. This book belongs in the history classroom." He grumbled. He then picked up the textbook. "Ancient Languages? The ancient languages of who exactly? We've always studied dragon tongue. What is this principal thinking?" He muttered. Mr. Nightdoom then sighed and began handing out the novels and textbooks.

"you alright?" heiwa asked quietly to theo.

Red was trying to sneak so that Mr. Leafstorm would not notice him, but the sneaking was really not his thing and when he heard the comment made by Aretis " Do not worry, if there is someone who really gets those, it will be me" Red said..... after he had spoken he realised that he had spoken out loud and pretty loudly. He did not even watch how had Mr. Leafstorm reacted he just went to the seat close to Firefly and Aretis.

Mr. Leafstorm clearly noticed him, narrowing his gaze on Red. He obviously heard what he had just said. For a moment, it seemed like he was debating on whether to say anything to him or not. Then he just seemed to take a deep breath and let it go, turning to the class as a whole.
"As I was previously saying, for those of you who don't already know, I am Mr. Branch Leafstorm. As you may already know or have guessed, I teach history. Now I'll go ahead and say that I am not a very popular teacher. I give a lot of work, I tend to grade harshly, I am firm with rules, and I have a pet peeve of tardiness and laziness. I expect all my students to work to the very best of their ability. Now this means that I will not make anything easy. I am not here to be your friend and give you an easy time. If you expect to coast, then that ship has sailed. There is to be no slacking in my classroom. You all will be honest, hard-working individuals who want to succeed in life, or at least pretend to be. Now I will be honest, I like to talk and have a tendency to give lectures. However, I also have many a story to tell, not only of historic events but tales of my youth as well. So make sure you pay attention in my class. You never know what might end up on a quiz or test. Any questions?"

Smoky passed the History class. He stumbled in. This was his first day at school, even though he was a young adult. He had never been to a school, and had decided to try it. Flames flew around him, and he looked up, a bit shocked.
"Uhh...am I late?" He grinned.

Ru flew faster, using the direction of the wind to his advantage. He was now flying beside the blue dragon.

I guess I'll be joining there aren't any good RPs right now so.... I'll try my best with gramer because I suck at it and I have gotten bad grades from it half of the time. I'll also try to make longer posts.

Personality: Is a bit to confident in him self most of the time, which will eventually might lead to his down fall. He usally always wants something to do weather its work or games, if there isn't he will usally just wonder around. Though his elements mix in with his personality to, while magic being a bit on the un-sane side while fire means he can also be short tempered and serious some of the time. He can also go on a rampage if he gets angered very badly.
Appearance: A bright red dragon with a bit of light and dark purple in him. He has bright light purple like eyes along with dark purple horns. His wings are bright red with a lot of cuts on them as they also are also like your normal design of dragon wings. His legs are an average in length making him a normal sized dragon, but he does have sharp claws. And he has three tail two that look like there is a flame at the end and the one in the middle looks like it has a purple flame.
Other: Easliy frighten by things, can get nauseous from being scared, and is afraid of flying.

Aretis merely listened. He didn't want to ask any questions either, and sort of just...shrunk in his seat blinking and looking around. This was all so new to him...

The bulky brown dragon stumbled over to an empty seat. He rolled into it casually. He then looked around the History Class, looking at the other dragons. He sighed, and a puff of smoke swept into the air.

ooc: Your character sheet is fine, although I am sort of curious to how your magic element works. Could you try to explain that? I just want to make sure it isn't overpowered or anything.

The blue dragon glared at Ru. He snarled, and then slammed into him, trying to completely push him aside to take the lead.

Mr. Leafstorm noticed another late student arrive at his class. He took a deep breath, and tried to ignore the fact that he already had four students tardy on the first day. Then the door opened, and the vice principal walked in, pulling a cart of books.
"Mr. Silverdash, what business do you have here?" The history teacher asked.
"New textbooks for all the classes. Did you not hear the new principal's announcement?"
"Oh, yes, that had almost slipped my mind. What kind of books are they?"
"Why don't you see for yourself." Mr. Silverdash then pushed the cart of books over to his desk. Mr. Leafstorm then picked one up and read the title.
"The History of Evil?" He asked, puzzled. "Mr. Silverdash, is it really necessary for the students to learn about evil dragons of the past? We've never studied them to such a degree before. Unless we studied their demise by a hero."
"That is part of the new curriculum, by orders of the new principal. Your job is not to question the subject matter, Mr. Leafstorm, it is simply to teach what is in that textbook. So just work hard like you always have. That will be all. Good day to you." He said. Then with that, the vice principal left. Mr. Leafstorm sighed and set the book down on the cart.
"Well, then I suppose you all get your textbooks now." He said, sort of quietly. Then he started passing out the new books.

Well probably able to create items out of a magical liquid. Also I'd say it would take a lot of effort to do it any way.

Aretis blinked, looking at the textbooks, then back at Mr. Leafstorm and how he responded to the books being passed out. Evil, huh....I wonder....... As soon as he got his he opened up and lightly skimmed through the pages. Augh...it's been a while since I've read anything before. I'm going to have to sharpen up later. English class is gonna be horrible.... Still, he kept leafing through the book like he was looking for something.

" Sounds like this year is going to be good for me... heh " Red whispered to Firefly, He had seen that Mr. Leafstorm was not very happy about the new books so he was smiling pretty widely and he made it sure that when he got his book that Mr. Leafstorm saw that.

ooc: Hmm. Well, alright. As long it isn't overpowered. You're accepted.

As Aretis looked through the textbook, he could see several different pictures of evil dragons. The pictures seemed to depict them in their moments of power and glory. Some even showed the dragons brutally murdering others. There were pictures of wars between good and evil dragons, but only showing the ones where the evil dragons were victorious. There was no depiction or mention of heroes, unless they had been slain. There was no mention of these evil dragons being defeated, no proof that they had been. Even weaknesses were left unsaid. Towards the back of the book, on the last few pages, it showed a different evil dragon. This one being one of the few females in the book. This one was a solid red color, with sharp, silver spikes. The tip of her tail was a blade that had three points, almost appearing to look like the end of a pitchfork or trident. There was a name with the picture; Scarlet Hielfire. There were tales of successful evil deeds she had done in the past, how cunning and ruthless she could be. It also depicted some of her abilities, the elements of Fire and Fear, and the ability to teleport to escape the claws of justice. There was no mention of weaknesses, and no proof of her ever being defeated. It also said that her whereabouts were unknown, meaning that unlike the others, she could still be alive.

"Yeah, maybe." Firefly whispered back. She then looked at the book that had been placed in front of her. She wondered why they were learning more about evil dragons. Why did they need to know this? Mr. Leafstorm certainly seemed disheartened by this subject matter. He was frowning slightly, clearly not fond of this curriculum change thus far. He almost seemed concerned about something.

Lily listened to the vice-principal's response to Nero. Now, why would he be in the dark? Why would the new principal do that? He was supposed to know what was going on, so he could help her run the school. She glanced to Mr. Nightdoom, noticing his reaction to the new material. He didn't seem too happy. Something didn't seem right, but Lily didn't know what it was. She looked to the new textbook and novel as they were handed to her. The Great War. She sighed. This wasn't what she'd been expecting to read this year.

Felakkan looked through the textbook. "Whoa!" He said as he looked through the content. "Now, this is what I'm talking about!" He said as he looked through all the pictures.

If some one looked at Red it could not be missed that he was enjoying the situation " Ou i can remember last year when you where so excited about any piece of material you gave us, and you always yelled to me and gave more work when i was not interested at all..... i can remember our disputes where you said that " I have never seen lazier dragon !". And now i am watching you begin sad about the fact that the material which has given only troubles to me and which was so dear to you have been chanced" Red thought and was smiling so complacently, that he almost seemed like triumphant.

Infinity quickly flew aound the halls trying to get to class. "117... 124 Where is room 278?!?! I'll never get to class on time..." Infinity whined as he kept on flying around. Ohhh! I just hate going to new school you have no clue if the people are nice and you don't know your way around the school! Only if I can find Mrs. Ivy dewdrop's room... He thought "Ugh... This is hopeless! I'm better off just sitting in the bathroom till next quarter!" He whined again as he then started to look for the nearest bathroom.

Mr. Leafstorm sat down at his desk and narrowed his gaze on Red.
"Well, then I hope that one of us enjoys this year's curriculum. Focusing all our attention on the history of evil dragons does not appeal to me. Nevertheless, I still expect everyone to work hard, and I will teach the same way I always have. Even if I am unhappy with the subject, I still have a job to do. Perhaps you will be a better student this year, Red. enjoy your 'victory' while it lasts, young dragon. You never know when things may change." He said.

Normally, they focused on reading and writing in dragon tongue, grammar, spelling, reading novels by well-known dragons that probably only adults would like, etc. All the usual stuff that comes with an english class, only for dragons. Only now, the next textbooks seemed to focus on ancient languages from other species and cultures, including evil ones. Even the novel was written about a brutal war between good and evil dragons, with the evil ones being victorious.

Mr. Silverdash was pulling yet another cart of textbooks, and had just arrived at Mrs. Skye Airazor's classroom. He sighed as he stopped at the door. Mrs. Airazor, as well as Mrs. Lavapool, hated using textbooks or any kind of books in their classes. Their lessons involved being active, not sitting at a desk. So giving them books to use would be hard for them to accept. At least he was starting with the nicer of the two. Fyra would surely roast him alive if he forced books upon her. Comet took a deep breath and then entered the classroom.

Just as Mr. Silverdash suspected, Mrs. Airazor had already moved her class to the sky. Getting her attention during a lesson may prove difficult. He pushed the cart over to her desk, and then stopped as he looked up at the class. Maybe he could just leave the books here and not have to confront Skye. Then again, he'd have to make sure she actually used the books. Comet took another deep breath, knowing he'd have to talk to her.

"Mrs. Airazor! A word, please!" He hollered up to her. He just hoped she heard him from way up there. Could she even see him past all her racing students?

Infinity then sat down by the door to Mrs. Airazor's class getting angry and sad about being late. He then sighed as he then started to sheed tears and sniffle a bit. I knew I'd go off to a bad Start! I KNEW IT!!! He angiely thought in his head as he sat there.

Red seemed to be thinking " In fact i did not even watch what the book includes, the expression at your face made this year just start little bit better thanks about that" Red said and then opened his book ... "okey i have to say that this really is weird, but it at least seems more interesting then the stuff we had last year" after saying this he lifted up his head and kept his smile.

Smoky looked down at the History Textbook. He had never learnt to read.
"Uh..oh.." He sighed. He poked through the pages, trying to decipher the unreadable words. He smiled a bit at how stupid he must seem to the other dragons. "Oh well." He muttered.

"Yes, I'm fine." Theo muttered back. He picked up his chair and book again, and sat back down. "What a perfect start to the school year." He thought.
