Growl was exhausted. She bent down to lick her few wounds.

Lila was on alert again, but replied, "I'm Lila, and I'm sorry that I motivated you to attack me earlier."
"I definitely didn't mean to provoke you." All of a sudden, she heard a long, low, howl. "We're not safe here." Lila said.

"You didn't provoke anything. You're quite alright. Delgato doesn't think much." said Alyx.

Delgato let out a low growl.
"Come. I know a place where we can chat in quiet." he said.

Lila followed Delgato from a distance, but kept looking over her shoulder. She knew who was following them, and they were not animals to be reckoned with.

Alyx padded up to walk beside Lila.
"Don't worry. Delgato doesn't seem all that good, but he'll protect us." She said.

"If you say so." Lila replied. "But where are we going?"

"A small alcove. I lived there for awhile before meeting Alyx. It's quiet and safe." growled Delgato.

Lila nodded, but looked back behind her. She began to walk a little faster.

Personality: Protective of those he cares about, fun-loving, and a skilled hunter.

Delgato noticed Lila always looking back and he stopped.
"What's following us? I'm gonna get rid of it right now." He growled.

Lila looked back at Delgato. "It's just an old friend of mine who tried to "hang" with the wrong people, and I'm worried about him." "He betrayed them, and now they're always after him." "And, if they find me, they come after me too."

"Are they following us right now? I'll get rid of them now. No point in letting them follow us." growled Delgato.

"I don't think they are," Lila replied. "if they were, they'd probably be moving faster." "However," she added, "if we stand here talking too long, they will try and kill us."

Delgato nodded and sped up his pace.

Twilight sighed. She was lonely. She shook her head. That obviously didn't matter, she needed to find food to keep her strength up.

Personality: Calm, but he can get very excited at times.
Appearance (Description or picture): He is a red-ish golden retriever.
Other/Extra: Kona lives in a Nodder Wild Dog pack. He is not the highest ranking, nor the lowest.

Lila followed Delgato and Alyx as quickly as she could.

Meanwhile, the dogs who Scott had betrayed were hot on his trail. Scott took many detours on his way, but did not look back once. He had to find a place to hide while he could before the dogs found him. He picked up Lila's scent and headed in that direction. "Maybe she can help me." he thought.

Delgato led them into the small alcove where they could talk.

"We're safe here. Delgato will keep guard." said Alyx.

Lila crawled into the small alcove. She kept an eye out for Scott, but wasn't too worried.

Scott found the place where Lila, Alyx, and Delgato had been talking. He followed Lila's scent to the small alcove, but he smelled the two dogs as well. "Darn it." he thought. He heard another long howl, and ran in the way he had come so he wouldn't let them find Lila.

Delgato took off at the sound of a howl. He was fast, and quickly caught up to the source of the howl.

Scott skidded to a stop as he saw Delgato standing in front of his enemies. "That's one of the dogs I smelled with Lila," he thought. "And that was the one who was on guard." "He turned around yet again and sprinted toward the small alcove. When he got there, he accidentally slid inside and crashed into Alyx.

Lila jumped as Scott slid in. "Alyx!" she exclaimed. "Are you alright!?"

Meanwhile, Scott's enemies stood in front of Delgato. "What do you want?!" Snarled the lead dog.

Alyx nodded.
"I'm fine. I'm more worried about where Delgato is." she said.

Delgato snarled.
"I'm here to fight and protect the dog you're chasing." he growled.

"Delgato!?" Scott exclaimed. "Was he the one on guard?" "If he was, then he's in big trouble! I've got to help him!" He wheeled around yet again and sprinted out of the alcove.

"Scott, wait!" Lila yelled. She sighed and turned to Alyx. "Scott's going to get himself killed someday just running off like that." "I sure hope all wolves aren't like him, as they'll probably be endangered."

Alyx looked at Lila.
"Come on. I can't just leave Scott to fight by himself. We should help. You can fight right?" she asked, starting to head quickly out of the tunnel.

Lila nodded and followed Alyx. "Yes, I can fight." she thought.

Alyx smiled and took off at a fast pace for she was quite agile. She was at Scott's side in seconds.

Lila easily caught up also. She was willing to protect her new friends as well as her old ones, and she wouldn't let Delgato down.

The pack of dogs started to surround Delgato. They growled and snarled and bared their teeth.

Delgato was unafraid of these dogs. He bared his sharp teeth and snarled.

Alyx reached Delgato in seconds. She swished her tail and snarled.

Scott skidded to a stop in front of Alyx. Even though most of these dogs were bigger than him, he wasn't afraid.

Lila watched as the dogs stepped closer. There were a lot more of the dogs than there were of them.

The biggest of the dogs stepped forward. "So you found some little friends to help you out, eh, Scott?" He said. "What a shame," "I guess we'll just have to beat them up also."

Delgato, who was quite muscular, leapt with quick reflexes and pinned down the leader of the dogs.
"You won't be beating anybody up." he snarled.

Alyx leapt and tackled the nearest dog.

Lila yowled loudly and leapt into the throng of dogs. She hissed and slashed and snapped. One of the dogs grabbed her hind leg and dragged her down. Other dogs took advantage of her weakness and swarmed over her. Scott was fighting beside Alyx, but when he saw Lila getting brutally attacked, he jumped onto the tallest dog's back. The dog howled in pain and ran off.

Alyx helped Delgato chase off a dog before turning to leap back into the fight.

Kona was sleeping under a shady bush, snoring quietly. The sun was rising now, and he stood up. Kona padded out from under the bush, and let the sunshine warm his orange coat.

Scott helped Lila up and went back into a large group of dogs to fight. Lila was still dazed, but kept on fighting. There were fewer dogs now than there were before, so it was easier to fight them off.

Delgato sent another dog running and ran to help Alyx.

Scott and Lila fought side by side once more and took many dogs down. Lila yowled in pain as a dog bit her hind leg where she had been bitten before. As the dog clamped his jaws down harder, Scott dug his teeth into the other dog's scruff and threw him away from Lila. The leader of the pack saw his dogs running away and shrank back into the shadows of a tree. He knew that they were outmatched, so he yelled, "Retreat! Retreat!" The remaining dogs turned and followed their leader, sprinting as fast as they could.

Delgato's ear was ripped and he had a gash across his muzzle.

Alyx had managed to escape injury.
"Thanks for helping Delgato." she said.

Scott had a cut on his ear and a scratch along his side, but he was mostly unharmed.
Lila's injuries, however, were far more severe. Her hind leg was fractured, if not completely broken, and there was a large gash on her side.

Alyx ran to Lila's side.
"Are you okay? Your leg doesn't look good." she said.

Lila looked up at Alyx. "I feel like someone stabbed me in the leg 10 times and then twisted it, but I'll be alright."

Alyx nodded.
"In other words, It's not good. I don't usually get injured, but I'll try to place myself in your shoes. I'll go get herbs." she said, taking off.

Scott helped Lila to her feet and let her lean against his shoulder. "Are you alright?" he asked Delgato.

"Yeah. These injuries are nothing." growled Delgato.

Alyx returned with wood and herbs.
"Can you sit, Lila, so I can treat those wounds?" she asked.

"I'll try." Lila said, letting go of Scott's shoulder and bracing herself with her front paws. "But I think it's broken." Do you have supplies to make a splint?"

Alyx nodded and held up the wood.
"That's what I got this for." she said. She began tending to everyone's wounds and made the splint for Lila.

Lila nodded and let Alyx put the splint on her leg. She tested it out and found she could stand, though her leg still hurt. Scott looked over at where the dogs had disappeared and hoped they wouldn't come back ever again.

Delgato looked at Scott.
"You still jumpy? I can keep watch tonight if you want." he growled.

"No, I'm alright," Scott replied. "But we should head back to the alcove so we don't get found by anyone."

Alyx nodded.
"I agree. Let's go." she said.

The three headed back to the alcove where Alyx fell asleep immediately. Delgato set up for first watch.
