I saw each store got between 12 to 36 of them in, well and its in next weeks ad to. I was told by my target that more would be in on Tues or Friday. We will have to wait and see

I have a feeling there was an error at corporate when they set it up. Since all the skylanders are under one dpci, they have that set up as the BoGO free offer. Jade has a separate dpci, which someone forgot to set up. Hopefully they fix it today.
I went to 3 targets. All had Jade out between 8-16 per each store.
None had S2 spyro though, so that bummed me out.

I actually came across 2 Spyros and a Wrecking Ball at my local Target on Friday morning. Was surprised, because I rarely find new releases there...

Well I went to the other and not that well stocked, but it was 4 hours after it opened, bt surprisingly still had two Ninjini. But I got jade, whirlwind and stumpy.

I heard this too- and I know those feels- the only one I lack at this point is S2 Spyro :/ Can't seem to find him anywhere I had less trouble finding Ninjini and Jade Flashwing :/

Got eyebrawl, fright rider, and pop fiz as part of the b2g1 promotion...

didn't see a single jade flashwing, that was a serious bummer.

i just wish there was a S2 chop-chop or lightcore hex out yet, i could have gotten either of those to round out my undead collection

My target had sold out of JFW when I got there at noon today. They said to check back in 2 or 3 days and they may have more.

Just so everyone is clear. The skylanders not ringing up for the offer is a target wide issue. Stuff like this always happens when they do specials for grand openings(just opened stores in Canada). So just make sure you have an ad with you and tell the cashier that skylanders are part of the buy 2 get 1.

Agree. If it's not corrected by now, it will be corrected by the time stores open tomorrow. But bringing in the ad (or having the online weekly ad on your phone) will help.

Don't have time to read the whole thread right now, so forgive me if I am repeating any information. Just wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the following stuff that I encountered when visiting Target stores today:

1. The Buy 2 Get 1 Free promo has signs and flyers posted all over the stores ... but for whatever reason, the Target cash registers are NOT automatically giving the discount. This happened to me twice today at two different Target locations in Charlotte. Fortunately, I was able to bring the promo to the attention of the cashier both times, and although a front-end supervisor was required in both instances to process the discount (which was mildly embarrassing for me and probably very annoying to the customers waiting in the check-out queue behind me), I did eventually receive the correct discount. Hopefully, Target staff will get this straightened out in their database ASAP, but until further notice, make sure you're receiving the discount when you check-out at Target ... you may not get the discount unless you're paying attention and are willing to ask the cashier to double-check, etc.

2. Jade Flashwing was NOT on the shelves ... at least not at the two Target locations I visited today. I was told by one employee in one of the electronics departments that they did indeed have exactly 17 Jade Flashwings in the stock room, but they were "street dated" for Tuesday (3/19/13) and they were unwilling to sell them until that date. He also hinted that Ninjini would be available in Target locations in limited quantities on the same date, Tuesday.

Its amazing how clueless some Targets are with exclusive items and street dates.

I don't doubt that. I am very, very rarely impressed with any employee in the electronics department at any of the Target locations near me.
Sometimes I wonder if the electronics department employees are just being rotated over from like ... the ladies lingerie department ... or pet supplies, or whatever. They just never seem to have a clue.

What really irritates me more than anything about Target stores near me (with regard to Skylanders anyways) is how I'm always reading on these forums about people being able to convince the Target staff to "check the backroom" for stock. Every single time I attempt that at any Target location near me, no matter how persuasively I may act ... the answer is almost always: "everything we have is on the floor now".

Is there some secret handshake that gets Target employees to "check the stock room" for you? Or is it just that the Target employees at stores near me are just that hard-assed (or dumb?)?

Did you guys get the deal with Jadewing? The Target people literally told me that the three I had picked (Jadewing - Hot Dog - Spyro S2) were not eligible for the discount but the lady at the entertainment section had said that HD and Spyro were eligible so I assumed it might've been because of Jadewing. I didn't have much time to fight it out since they literally shoved the computer in my face and told me I had to get two things of 24.99 value to get one free so I just left with Jadewing.

I didn't buy at Jade Flashwing today, but I can say this: do not let them tell you that Jade is not included in the Buy 2 Get 1 promo. That's bull. Jade is prominently featured right in the paper Target circular/ad this week, directly under the header that reads "Buy 2 Get 1 free".

There were a lot of issues with Target's cash register system (apparently nationwide?) today with regard to this promo. Seems like it was not entered correctly into their weekly system update prior to Sunday's ad/specials went into effect.

The main issued is that Jade has its own dpci. The regular dpci works just fine for all the other figures since they are under a single dpci. It seems like they didn't add the Jade dpci to the deal. So until they do that Jade won't count.

about jade not being on the b2g1 thing. the lady called someone, and they just manually made one of them 0.00.

and how awesome is jade flashwing... two targets i went to (at 5pm-ish) had NONE, one guy was like "we just sold the last one a minute ago" and then the last target i tried had tons of them.

anyone else notice paint quality on jade flashwing to be pretty poor?

i wish everyone would just switch to QR codes already. much better stock tracking system, far more data per unit area, then we wouldn't have to worry about this dcpi number crap

Don't know why everyone is having issues with JFW. Mine rang up just fine AND there were plenty of them, and by plenty I mean 30+ just stacked on main electronics counter, not including any on the main display.

Grabbed the 3DS Starter Pack to get Punch Pop Fizz.
They surprisingly had a lot of Jade Flashwings.

^I'm stocking up on starter pack for all releases but mainly to get 3DS for Punch Pop Fizz. My son had two 3DS and broke them by dropping them--sigh. Not sure if another one is in our future.

The Target I went to didn't have any on the floor. I called over a clerk and he pulled them out from behind the counter. We were able to buy as many as we wanted (I got 2 another guy got 1). I didn't try the B2G1 deal since Target didn't have the figure (S2 Drill Sargeant) I wanted. My brother went to another Target store and they also weren't on the shelf. He had to ask for Jade Flashwing.

That's how I got my Jade is by them checking in the back. Over generalizations is dangerous...but if you think about it it's all case by case.

You should have still taken advantage of the deal. You can also get one you don't want and return it later when you find the character you are looking for. Why would you not want a free item in the first place?

Specifically, I'm talking about the Midtown, Rea Road (Charlotte South), Blakeney (Charlotte Far South), and South Blvd (near Carolina Place Mall) locations.

I know generalizations are dangerous, but I'm not basing my statement on just one or two occurrences. I've received this treatment and/or excuse from multiple different employees on different dates at these four different locations. Obviously, we can't extrapolate my experiences to ALL Target stores everywhere ... I get that ... but outside of griping about the customer service and/or competence level of the employees at my local Targets .... the question remains ... is there some secret handshake (I'm half-kidding) or special/specific way to ask the Target staffers to "check the back" for you?

The issue with Jade not ringing up is fixed now. She's selling quite well, and they expect to sell out by mid-week, however more are on the way.
If you miss her this week, you'll get another chance Sunday when she is replenished to support next week's ad.

I noticed that the case that I bought last week at $25 before the Sunday sale was back up to $39.99 when I went to Target yesterday.

I just got back from Target on my lunch break...the buy 2 get 1 issue is not fixed. I politely discussed the issue with the cashier, since there was nobody behind me in line, but she went with what the computer told her....I then discussed the issue with a cashier at guest services, she went with the computer and sent me back to electronics where someone would be waiting to tell me which one regular sized skylander I could get for free.... After discussion with the worker in electronics, the nice lady at customer service was giving me my Jade Flashwing for free.... So after 20 minutes of discussion, waiting in line, and walking back and forth, it all worked out.

But......now i'm wondering since the "free one" rang up as 9.99 like the other ones and she put in 99000022 Store Coupon $9.99- to get rid of the price of the "free one"...couldn't I return the other 2 and buy them again with another free one? since the "store coupon" isn't connected to my purchase?

At the time, I didn't know about the deal. It wasn't until I got back home that I found out. I was planning on taking advantage of it when i went back (return, buy again), but since Target didn't have the character, I didn't feel like going through the hassle just to get a free figure that I didn't want.

You can. I put the free figure as $0 instead of putting in a coupon so someone can't come back and do that. Because technically you can keep coming back and rack up on free figures when you are only paying for 2.

Got last Jade Flashwing. Also at BB I found 4 Ninjini. I bought 1 for me.

I had to ask the guy working the electronics section to grab a Jade Flashwing from the back of the store at Target but happy to have one in hand now!

Although I confirmed Monday that Target would have another large shipment of Jade Flashwing to support this Sunday's ad, it now appears that due to high demand, they may not have many in stock.
So if you haven't gotten her yet, go get her ASAP.
They will not be offering rain checks, either.

I got the last Jade Flashwing at a local Target store on the day of her release

The two Targets near me never had them, not even this past Sunday.

You can always ask for the store manager and have the store'e weekly ad and show it to them

Today I came across a bunch of Jade Flashwings at a Target in western Ohio. The employee said that he'd been there for the unboxing, and they apparently had 80-ish.

there were over 20 at my target today. it was 80% of what they had . and they were $50 on ebay...

Wow, I had no interest in that case until I saw the pictures. I think I want one now...

I am trying and hoping for one skylander I don't have at Targt. I am trying to get S2 Prism Break and Eruptor. Hoping for Slam Bam because I found ignitor today which I haven't seen for along time like slam bam, or LC Pop Fizz or LC Chill, Trigger Happy, Zook, Bash. Hoping man

It has been for sale 3 times now on the site its only up for a few hours or so then sold out. Good luck your Target store should have plenty.

Alright, thanks for the information. I've checked my local Target several times before, but it seems like they're always sold out just before I get there (and I don't usually have the time to try to get them to check in the back)...

To add onto this, there was an in-store disclaimer notice posted this week for Jade Flashwing availability, but when I went to Target this morning, I saw around 20. They expect to sell out towards the end of this week, and the disclaimer is just letting guests know that there won't be any rain checks offerered. So if your particular store is out of them by midweek, there won't be any more shipments coming.

I went to my target, they had 3 left.

I visited several Targets this weekend, and all of them had at least some Jade Flashwings in their displays ... a couple stores had a dozen or more.
Other than that, though, the shelves/pegs were decimated at most locations. People definitely took advantage of the Buy 2 Get 1 Free (and why wouldn't you?). While I found a good supply/variety at Targets during the weekdays last week ... the weekend absolutely crushed the stock at my local Targets.

And yet most of them still had some Jade Flashwing. I honestly think that outside of the "hardcore" collectors and fans, the Flashwing character is just not popular ... even the snazzy-looking green variant color. If you look at Ebay prices over the weekend, they'll confirm what I'm saying. The median "sold" price on Jade Flashwing over the weekend was low, compared to other recent releases like Spyro S2, Wrecking Ball S2, and even single pack Hot Dog.

If, for whatever reason, the Target stores near you DON'T have Jade Flashwing and you really want one, I'd say just hit up Ebay. I'd be shocked if you couldn't get one right on Ebay for $12 or less including shipping. That won't last forever, but if you act now/soon, Ebay is actually a good option for Jade Flashwing currently.
