A loud horn sounded and echoed around the base, indicating that it was morning and time to get up.

Kiera was already up. She wore her usual battle outfit and was holding her weapon. She was writing down the teams on patrol for the day. Xev, Nirin, and Aidan were on her team (team A), and Jake, Tessa, Michael, Nicole and Erin were on team B. A few others were also on the teams.
"What about Aydeen?" Alessia asked, walking up to Kiera and looking at the lists which Kiera had pinned on the board.
"She can stay with you," Kiera said, pinning the last list on the board.
"Ok!" Alessia nodded. "She can help me with surveillance."

"Soilders, you have 10 minutes to get ready. The horn will sound and you are to check the board to see if you are on morning or afternoon duty. Soilders on morning duty, report to the entrance. Kiera will be waiting for you. Over and out."

"Hey, Nirin." Kiera walked over to him, looked at the board and back at him. "Oh, right...you're..." She stopped and then continued. "You're on my team today, with Xev and Aidan."

"In about 10 minutes," Kiera replied, glancing over at Aidan who was looking at them.

Kiera nodded. "Great." She walked over to the entrance.

Jake slowly made his way over to the board and peered at it. He was on team B. He sighed. He wished he was on team A with Kiera. He looked at the afternoon duty lists, seeing that was on the same team as Kiera. "Oh, ok, this is better."

Alessia saw Nirin and Aidan standing by the board. She walked up behind Aidan and tapped him on the shoulder. "Um, excuse me?" she said.

OOC: @Wrystel: You're on team A, by the way.

Kiera glanced around the room, seeing Jake at the board and Xev just standing there randomly.

"Here is an ear piece," Alessia said. "So we can all talk to each other and stuff while you're outside in the city." She looked over at Nirin. "I have one for him too..."

Alessia smiled and walked over to Nirin. "Nirin, I have an ear piece for you too." She placed it in his hand.

Alessia smiled and ran over to give Xev an ear piece. She then skipped back over to the camera surveillance table.

Kiera was putting her ear piece in her ear. She looked at her team members and then over at Alessia. She hoped the soilders weren't in big groups today.

Kiera glanced at her watch. 5 minutes. 5 minutes until she and her team went outside for the fight for their lives, once again.

Alessia ran over to Kiera. "The speakers are in place," she said. "There are a group of soilders to the east of the A-con high rise building, and I'll check that they're still there when you're near them, so them you can use the speakers."
Kiera nodded. "Ok. Got it."

OOC: ^It's early morning.

"Team A, please make your way to the entrance."

Kiera was waiting for them.

"You got your weapons?" Kiera asked her team.

Kiera smiled. "Ok, guys, as you know, when we're outside, the unexpected could happen, so be ready for anything. We'll be heading to the east today, where some soilders are situated. We can use the speakers we set up there to attack them." She turned her back and faced the doors. "Ready?"

"Don't worry, as long as we're behind the speakers, we'll be fine." Kiera glanced at him and turned back to the door. "Let's go!" She pushed the large doors open and ran up the stairs in the dark passages, only lit by candles.

Kiera stopped near another set of doors. She slowly opened one and peered around. "The coast is clear."
"Yep." Alessia's voice floated through all the ear pieces.
Kiera crept behind a tree and motioned to the others, telling them to follow her.

"You two, you're on team B, right?" Jake walked up to Nicole and Erin.

OOC: Blink, your character Aydeen can stay with Alessia instead of going out to fight. :3

"I think she'll be with Alessia today, helping with surveillance." Jake said, glancing over at them. "Now, are you two ready?"

Alessia turned, seeing Aydeen. She jumped. "Oh, hi!" she said. "You'll be helping me today!"

Alessia grinned. "You don't have to call me that. Now, grab a chair and put on a headset."

"Good." Jake nodded. "Ok, we'll have to wait for-" He was cut short by a voice in his ear piece.
"It's all clear, Jake." Kiera's voice floated through.
"Nevermind." Jake held up his gun. "Let's go." He pushed the doors open.

Kiera peered around the tree, looking at the broken city only metres in front of her. There were no soilders in site.

The major Twilight Resistance's base is hidden in the forest, on the outskirts of the city. There are only two forests left. One base sits in one, the other two sit in the other. The rest of the bases are under the city and in the few remaning high rise buidings and warehouses.
40% of the city is in ruins, due to bombing. Most buildings have collapsed, and some have lost walls or floors. The city is grey, black and white, no other colour. The soilders are in camoflauge, and due to that being green, they are pretty easy to spot. The speakers are blue and black, and are hidden in buildings. Only few soilders have found some. The soundwaves produced from these speakers are a light blue.
Most of the high rise buildings are located in the middle of the city. Warehouses are mostly located to the east, but some are in the west. The south end of the city is enemy territory. The rest of the city is pretty much taken up by the Twilight Resistance. The Resistance use weapons and music to defeat the soilders, as well as using some of the enemies own weapons. The Twilight Resistance have obtained 14 tanks and 600 bombs.
Team A is heading to the east. Their mission is to defeat the soilders setting up a camp there.
Team B is heading to the west. Their mission is to find the soilders and defeat them before they find a Resistance warehouse base.

"Come on." Kiera whispered. She motioned the others to follow her over to a ruin of a building. She ducked down behind a broken wall. She looked up and peered around.
"Watch out." Alessia's voice floated through everybody's ear piece. "A group of soilders are walking towards the SuperMart store. Be careful."
Kiera grinned. "I think we should take them out. You guys up for it?"

"There are four soilders. One for each of you." Alessia replied.
