My local TRU, where I have a friend who works in R-Zone, didn't receive these boxes you say TRU was supposed to receive today. What next? We don't get HTA emails Thursday night? You said you banked on Monday being the day box pic posts started showing up on CAG. Hasn't happened, and FedEx runs around 12-1 pm.

I don't know who's worse, ZapNorris frantically for trying to get people to believe him or the people who are ripping him and his theory a new one for essentially fueling his behavior.

Until you see pics...it really IS speculation. This holds true even for the most credible information, as you never know if the information being passed on has been misinterpreted, misunderstood, etc. (remember playing telephone as a kid?), or even flat out FALSE.

Activision DOES monitor this website, so we never really know if we're being fed truth or b.s. until the evidence shows up as it has with Spyro and Wrecking Ball.

Sorry, that just doesn't warrant a "they're out!" yet.

It would be pretty funny if Ninjini came out Friday. There are still a lot of leftover auctions from the TRU event, I guess people that priced them too high, or turned their noses up at lower offers. It would completely kill the market for those Ninjinis very quickly.

Overall, I have a feeling there will be something on Friday, but likely not everything. Maybe just Legendary Chill, and possibly some repose Series 2. The way they trickled out Wave 3 lends credit to this - not sure why they would blow their leftover load on one release. But then again, predicting their reasoning as so far been an exercise in futility.

given we are doing lots of spit-balling based on spotty reports, I'd personally give the odds like this:

Legendary Chill - better than even - She showed up with press kits over a month ago, and is out in Canada already in large numbers.
Spyro/Wrecking Ball - even - Out in Europe, not a stretch to think they might slip out.
Ninjini - low - Only out in the TRU event so far, not at retail anywhere. May be added to spice up the release. Possibly pushed up to undercut scalping of the TRU event ones.
Drobot - very low - Unseen anywhere at retail.
Lightcore Hex, Pop Fizz, Chill - very, very low - Unseen anywhere at retail. Maybe one might pop out, Chill if anything since Legendary were made as well. It would undercut TRU's special thing on Legendary though, so why would they do that?

Eight new figures in one release would be quite a lot, and would finish the mainline really early. Common sense indicates these would be spread over two waves with some variants (like the confirmed Molten Hot Dog) sprinkled in. I would personally like to see them all, but I am very skeptical.

I looked up each figure with the perimiters of how easy it was to locate Series 2 Spyro, Wrecking Ball, and even a single pack Hot Dog. NOTTA!

EDIT: CALLING IT NOW! Series 2 wave 4 doesn't come out this week. Ninjini doesn't come out this week. IF we get anything, it MIGHT be Legendary Chill.

I say this, because Zap is saying that TRU states SOMETHING is coming in. That something can be anything. They would have known by now if they were going to have an event. I've seen this movie before with the wave 2 and 3 HTA memos. Stores received said memos anywhere from 5-7 days before the actual event, but this TRU only says "something" is coming in. I wouldn't call that a good source at all, even if they haven't been wrong before. Usually a "source" gives better info than "something."

I have to say that we would all like for Zap to be true. Crow tastes good when you are enjoying it with some new Skylanders. If Gamemaster is wrong he will be the happiest wrong guy in the history of being wrong.

But, in general we all should relax, it's less than four days till we find out. Shipments will be in store by mid week, if true, and no doubt there will be reports of it. TRU will send out an email at around 5pm EST Thursday, if it is a go. The stage is set, now we wait.

Then fine. If everything is not coming out in 1 wave, then fine.

The single Hot Dog just goes to show how hard to predict TFB is on the releases. It makes no sense from a marketing perspective. Why kill the sales of the Battle Pack and get $10 when you can get $25? All it does is give people an out that would other wise have to buy two figures most people don't want to get one that they do badly. Maybe down the road, but a month after the Battle Pack comes out, and right after it hits full release? I guess I just don't see their big picture on this one.

NEW Skylander shipments don't come on their trucks. They arrive by FedEx with a huge sticker stating do not sell until a specific date.

Every store would have received them by now, or at least gotten a memo. My friend at TRU said there is no such memo, but there should have been, if there was going to be an event.

Who said the Wednesday was a shipment on a truck, it might be a Fedex shipment? This late they would have to get them like that, their shipping on trucks is far to inconsistent for a national release. I'm hopeful, but definitely not convinced there will be something very soon, if not Friday. We've been a month with nothing new - and new stuff is popping up in other countries. As I recall when Thumpback/Eye Brawl finally hit TRU, there was a bit of a late notice, too (but nobody was paying attention since it was two weeks later than Walmart and Gamestop).

The 22nd date came from the same source as some of the early warning for the 12/23 release, as I recall. I will be convinced when I see confirmation from the reliable TRU employees (you know who I am talking about), and those will come soon if it is true. Keep in mind that today is a holiday, so it is entirely likely the word simply hasn't been passed down yet. I have long since stopped expecting predictable results on a schedule, we all got shocked when Thumpback and Eye Brawl popped up at Walmart the day Hot Dog came out.

I think IF we get anything this week, it will be Legendary Chill, and the only reason I say that, is because the figure came out last week in Canada.

However, I bet the seller on Ebay selling the Spyro and Wrecking Ball, is the one who made the pic Zap posted for us to see. It seems literally only 1 person has them in the PAL regions, which could indicate that perhaps they were figures for early review?

But if you would love to be proven wrong, then I don't think he would sell them.

Maybe Zap.... You remember the Eye Brawl that someone had for sale back in the middle of December, it was a month before he hit the shelves.

Also, he may just be someone who works for a place that reviews them and doesn't play them so he is selling them.
