Okay folks - here's some news that will answer a couple of questions and allow you to verify this info yourselves.

UPC for the item is 47875.84653. Molten Hot Dog will be available as a stand-alone pack for $9.96. Time frame, as far as I know, is the same as I mentioned above.

With that said, I'd like to ask folks here, due to something that came up regarding this topic. Sometimes, I get advance info that I can share. (sometimes, I get info that I CANNOT share ). Obviously, this was one of those cases I was okay with sharing the info, but I cannot - under any circumstances - share my sources. Ever.

With that said, would folks here like me to share good info when I get it, or would you prefer I wait until I can share something that you can verify on your own? It's not often that I get to post stuff well in advance (a lot of what I get falls into the "cannot share" category), but when I do, I'd like to be able to share it with my friends here at DarkSpyro. So, let me know...

I think as long as you clearly state in the beginning of the topic that it's not 100% verifiable that'd be fine. We all know that the fandom loves to run with any sort of rumor it can get it's hands on, but I think we can all benefit by any sort of "insider" information we can get.

I'm curious what are the reasons you "cannot share"?

As I stated elsewhere, some folks' jobs and livelihoods could be at risk.

i suggest just get gnarly tree rex as loose figure as this is much cheaper for your case. but id just rather buy the whole bundle as im needing more wii controller and im planning to buy starter pack for our wii. so thats a good deal for my case. this wud have been really a sweet deal if they have put gnarly in wii U also -.-

Also, my question is will it be available online? I can't be bothered to actually travel to a wal-mart.

Thanks for the info, if this is accurate it is good news! Walmart always orders a bunch of variants when they get an exclusive, so they are never hard to find. I still find Ruby Drill Sergeants and GiTD Sonic Booms in great numbers. Target and even TRU seem to dry up on their exclusives for long periods of time. And this is a very cool variant to boot!

Also, likewise, I'd rather hear the information and be able to judge it on the merits of the source and likelihood myself. As long as it is placed under the right context and source of the information is given (names/specifics are not necessary, given the sensitivity of the information). One has to remember that anyone can come in and make a claim of new info, but given UncleBob's track record and post history I give it more weight. I doubt he would destroy his credibility for the short term attention.

cant wait for him to be released. the upc isnt working yet tho. ingame variants really interest me alot. any new with others tho? jade flashwing and polar whirlwind?

Definitely share. We can take it or leave it if we want, but speculation WITH A SOURCE is kind of fun.

This is great news. I really hated the idea of buying ANOTHER Scorpion Striker pack. Please share when you get info. People can believe it or not. It's not as if anyone here is (I hope) betting their rent money or life savings on your info. People need to chill out about the "proof requirements". It's usually pretty obvious when someone is totally full of B.S. and they keep making things up.

Considering how Eye-Brawl and Thumpback were later in being released than most of wave 3, Molten Hotdog may be out later than the exact timeframe they expect. The date itself may be part of what UncleBob can't tell us. At least, not THIS early!! We've got a bone, let's just knaw on it for awhile instead of asking for more ne? And Toy Fair hasn't even happened yet!! They said there'd be a big announcement, so it could very well be part of that too!

I hope is out by March.

Nice spot MattyXB Guess this would narrow down the date a bit if it is stating 3/15/2013. I must say I was hoping he'd have been more translucent and less...YELLOW. Still want it...

So I figure it will hit us by 3/15/2013 then...which sounds about right. Now we need to figure out the rest of the in game variants (Polar, Scarlet, Jade, etc)

Thank you MattyXB, although Molten Hot Dog isn't listed on the UK site yet I did see Scorpion Striker in stock which I bought and isn't available anywhere else in the UK yet! Gamestop.co.uk is the last place I check for Skylanders normally.

I can say for certain, that Molten Hot Dog is going to be exclusive to Walmart, like had been stated. I took a pic, but am too lazy to post it, but Walmarts are now carrying alternate versions of the Giants Strategy Guide, which now shows as having an exclusive Molten Hot Dog car/move sheet, which is placed in the back of the book, behind the page with the stickers. It says the guide is only available at Walmart.

Yes, it's a full sheet card stock card in the back that just shows the attacks. It isn't a collectible card and is pretty much pointless. Just a sad excuse to suck more money from fools wanting one of everything. Not worth it if you already have the guide.

Well hopefully he's as easily attainable as GITD Sonic Boom.

Since it's a Walmart exclusive I doubt anyone will have any problems getting one. Walmart is good about having their exclusives saturating stores. Glad they are getting it because I really want him.

lol, So any idea on when Ninjini will be out? And especially, of course, series 2 Spyro?

I'm guessing this will be the easiest to get of the remaining variants since Walmart stocks tons of their exclusives. This is the coolest so far though.
