I went to my TRU today, and they had characters out for Skylanders: World War. It's a game that comes out 2013... They had "Hammerdead", an undead shark. They also had "Ol' Bessie" The Fire cow. I was shown these items, they where pulled from a box. I would have taken a pic, but I am 79 years old, and have no idea how to use a iPhone. But, because I am 79, you can trust me!

Derek, you could be correct in your post. However, I just don't think they wouldn't take the chance of doing that. Have you looked at the midwest weather right now? It is one huge effing mess. Waiting to make a delivery of such a popular toy so close to Christmas is a huge gamble.

Now, I know you are going to say, no one cares about the midwest states however, not only trucks that deliver to the midwest go thru here also to other states.

Where I live about 40 miles southeast of Des Moines we are supposed to get 8-12 inches of snow and 40-50 mile an hour winds starting overnight and last all day on Thursday. Which will pretty much bring everything here to a stand still. It is also supposed to effect Wisconsin, Chicago and Michigan. I just doubt that TRU, Activision or Toys for Bob would risk having the shipment go out so close to the release date and have something like this mess it up.

Anyways, didn't the OP post that he saw Thumpback? So that would kind of take the whole not shipping until Friday or Saturday out of the argument anyways.

Oh I'm not seeing I believe he saw Thumpback, I just think it is entirely possible that the giants are currently sitting in distribution locatiions waiting to be shipped Friday or Saturday, just like many popular games are treated in order to prevent them from getting out early. Or maybe not, I'm just saying we don't know.

As to the weather, if things get delayed, they get delayed, but that wouldn't stop the rest of the country from getting them, assuming they are in fact shipping them close to street date.

I'm right about this one, and I can now confirm it 100%, as I got to see their email with instructions tonight, before i picked up my LC Shrooms. It gives specific instructions and what they are going to get, plus breakdown of each of the wave's contents. It would have stated they were getting Giants like they were getting Lightcore boxes and wave 3 Series 2 boxes.

No Giants this month. Maybe next month.
