Gonna wait outside TRU if there's people out, hopefully for less than 20 minutes. Afterwards, I'll head to Gamestop to pick up my fully paid Battle Pack. (if I don't have my dad go over there)

After that I'll head to Target to see if they have Granite Crusher, then probably Walmart just to see if there's anything I want to get.

Gamestop called me about mine sounds like something fishy is going on at Toys R Us. I didnt preorder anything but I agree to hit Target first.

Since my work just got the giants characters in and I noticed on whirlwind that the single pack has a shiny horn and the triple pack does not have a shiny horn it's just yellow and red. If I can I'll try and get pictures to show you.

I got an e-mail from BestBuy on Tuesday this week that my game had shipped and the UPS man delivered my Giants PS3 game today! So if you pre-ordered from BestBuy and chose ship to home be on the look out!

But my plan for Sunday is to go to Target first thing in the morning for Granite Crusher and then go over to BestBuy to use up some gift cards on some figures then back home

Walmart (opens at 6am near me) hopefully, Target at 8am, then Toys R Us (8am or 10am depending if the store near me will open early)

Gamestop ExclusiveSkylanders Giants Golden Drago - DS, Wii, PC, PS3, Collectibles, Xbox 360 Not really wanting to get in this again depends on if they distribute it right this time.Im curious to see if the stores will be sold out at least the employees I talked to at my best Buy seemed confident that they had a lot. I guess what Im wondering is how many people gave up on the first game that couldnt find the figures, some people probably still cant find the last three. WHat good is a game when the company only puts out one figure to a store when tere are thousands that want it. I hope they fixed the distribution process and the stores are stuck with them now like the Skylanders. I hope people remember this tomorrow and dont get in fights look how many they are stuck with now of the Skylanders. itll happen again with giants so play nice.

Well I got my Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 a day before release from gamestop so expect it tomorrow :/

Does your Sams even have them yet? I was at Sams yesterday getting groceries and they weren't sure when they would even get it. They figured they wouldn't get it until their truck came on Monday.

Just picked up Granite Crushed and Bouncer. Strangely the they only had granite crusher, crusher, swarm, bouncer, and starter packs for 3DS, Wii, and Xbox.

Told u the scam is back the emplloyees will be buying them. Wait and see.

I think I may have spotted a scalper at my Toys R' Us. It was this mom with her kid who she was telling to make sure he got two of every figure. I was able to get the last Fright Rider though.

My local TRU wouldnt put out the giants and lightcores until tomorrow, but best buy had them all and I stocked up. They are also doing buy2 get1 free, so i got one giant free and a light core free.

Well I hate to say it but I think people gave up on this in my area. My best buy has so many the guy offered to hold all three giants for me and My Gamestop still has them too. I am not surprised by this at all. I really think Activision turned away people by the distribution process from the last game. I am surprised that Gamestop still has Giants in. It was beanie baby fad short lived sorry activision its a no go for me.

the giants wernt as big as I was expecting

I am wondering if the GITD starter packs at Walmart are something that will be in continuous supply at WMs throughout the life of this game or if they are just a first-run production batch and once they are gone, Walmart will switch to the standard packs.

Or they had alot of stock :/ My target had 3 boxes of Granite Crusher, 10 Boxes of each kind (single New, Single Light, Single Reposed, giants, 3 Packs) Basically they had alot of stock.

MY TRU is holding me one of every figure. Im debating because Im still stuck with 22, so if anybody needs one let me know. My Best Buy has a lot too. I think people learned there lesson on ebay last time. I think the scalpers are in for a surprise. We shall see who is stuck with a lot, but I think a lot will be stuck. I have not bought one yet. Funny they still dont have Wham Shell. I think Activision gave up on that one. I never seen that on a store shelf.

Yeah the only store near me that had Wham-Shell was Toys R Us, but was bought by an employee when He was bringing stock out.

Did you buy any starter packs from TRU? I got my Xbox360 for 74.99 and 3DS was 44.99 with the B1G140%.

MY Best Buy had everything but Hot Head Sprocket Flashwing and Lightcore Jetpack they were overloaded and the figures were literally falling off the shelf. Pretty funny Ironic really.

I got everything up till now except GITD Fright, Gold Flameslinger, L-Stealthy, Gnarly Rex, and Punch Pop Fizz.

I just got my Sprocket today in the mail and Hot Head is coming soon too. We've had ALOT of popularity in the figures! Especially the exclusives. Washington state seems to love Giants. You know, it occurs to me that in the lesser-traveled areas you can always seem to find the harder-to-find ones. You try Bellevue, Redmond, or Seattle and they go pretty fast, but ask Lynnwood TRU and they'll probably have it. Even the Fred Meyers around here have Skylanders, though they aren't as fast on the shipments or info. Seen any in "non-official" store locations near you?

edit: I stand corrected it seems! At least, atm....on wave 1 release day there was such a mad dash to get everything, but they've managed to restock in Bellevue TRU! The lady on the phone told me they have all the old Skylanders except Wham-Shell, unless you go with the exclusive...er....display case? What was it called the thing that you could get a free wham-shell in.... As for Giants, they have all the figs but Flashwing and Sprocket. And they have cases they can't open until they've sold what's on display so....anyone who lives in th area and needs em, head over!

Ok so L-stealth elf is available at TRU now, as well as the others in the 2.5 pack list right? Could be wrong if a few are exclusives.....we've got info on another thread on a possible Dec 2nd release date for wave 3. Has anyone seen anything confirming/denying it?

I've heard the Dec 2 rumor too, but nothing that I think is confirmed.
