Who are all of the mega bloks characters they made so far?

So far it's Tree Rex, Crusher, Bouncer, Ignitor, Chill, Shroomboom, Jet Vac, Cynder, Spyro, Trigger Happy, Terrafin and Chop Chop.

So it looks like they are creating a "spinner" type game like Ninjago with some of these packs. That feature will draw in more kids. The castle set is cool, yet extremely expensive, in that it includes Kaos and Glumshanks.

I thought they were spinners at first too, but after looking at another picture, the round thing we thought were spinners are just actually mini-portals of power for the figures to stand on...

I stand corrected then, my apologies. ;

They're not spinners. They're bumper cars.

The portals act like sliders; they have a ball bearing on the bottom to roll across the table. You can bash them into each other to battle, or bounce them on the bumpers for trick shots.

Not a bad choice in terms of gameplay. Not too derivative of Ninjago (which is rumored to be cancelled after the first 2013 wave hits, in favor of a line of characters with little rip cord activated chariots).

I still wonder what they will do on-line, since these are supposed to have codes for the Megabloks Skylanders web site.

By "spinners" I was just referring to putting a character on some disc to play a game. From the seemingly daily reveals of new sets it looks like Mega really dumped a lot of development and tooling dollars into this new line. I was initially skeptical because I didn't think we'd see too many different characters because each character is very different as far as tooling is concerned with little to no parts that can be reused across the various Skylanders. But hats off to them for developing so many individual sculpts. It isn't too much of a stretch to think we'll see repaints of some of these in their legendary colors and such, it'll be a good way to reuse the existing molds.

My daughter is REALLY hoping for a stealth elf and whirlwind.

I'll give them credit for not duplicating any of the characters amongst the various large sets,sans the TRU exclusive Kaos castle with Ignitor. But Ignitor being duplicated isn't a big deal because he is in the single packs and you can just skip the single if you are planning on getting the castle. I wonder if Bouncer is going to be available in another set or is going to be exclusive to the over priced castle set.
