I mean the expression followed by the message is generally one used for unhappiness, annoyance, or discomfort, which gives the message an irritated or uncomfortable tone.
I mean like, what do I draw?
What am I suppose to do to attract attention here and on dA?
I've been trying to improve my shading, to attract more attention, too, guess it's not working too well.
Shading is good. Making your drawings realistic is probably the best approach. Well, maybe just look at other artists, how they draw and how they do stuff. Sort of just build off each other. I mean, that's what people did right? You wanted to learn something, you watch and follow the master. Eh?

Just draw what you feel like. You don't get popular by trying, you just do what you love to do. People notice someone who is passionate about what they do. It might take some time, but it happens eventually!
