CHAPTER 19: A PROBLEM, AFTER A SOLUTION

Steve looked up at Striker. "H-how are we meant to beat this guy?"
Hugo thought. "We'd need a miracle."
Striker laughed. "I've been powered up so I can be beaten by nothing!"
Hugo stared at him. "Nothing?"
"NOTHING!" Striker continued to laugh. "Besides supersonic speed."
"But where can we find someone with supersonic speed?" Lucy asked the others.

"Here!"
They looked up at Striker. A blue ball was charging towards him at the supersonic speed. Striker was knocked out.
"W-who are you?" Steve asked it.
The ball landed and turned into a blue hedgehog. "I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog!"
Hannah stared at Sonic. "I thought you were only a video game character."
Sonic smiled. "I visit Earth from time to time to tell people of my adventures, then they're turned into games."
Camo woke up. "What brings you here this time?"
Sonic walked over to him. "The Chaos Emeralds brought me here, saying that I needed to save the world by finding deities, but they didn't have enough power to take me directly where I needed to go because of that dragoon."
"Well, where do you need to go?" Hugo asked.
"Skylands." Sonic replied.
"We're heading there!" Lucy said. "But we need to find some friends first. Maybe you could help us!"
Steve thought. "Maybe you could help us get around by using the Chaos Emeralds!"
Sonic sighed. "No. I can't."
Camo walked upto him. "Why not?"
Sonic sighed again. "Well, because of the dark powers from the dragoon, the Emeralds... scattered around the planet..."
Cynder got up. "Great, more problems."
Voodood got up. "Did you guys ever finish that guy off?"

Striker woke up. "Pay!"
He shot a beam of darkness at them. Three portals opened up.
Steve, Voodood, and Hugo were sucked into one.
Hannah, Camo and Cynder were sucked into another.
Lucy, and Sonic were sucked into the third.

"NOW TO FIND THE REST!" Striker shouted. He flew off.

CHAPTER 20: THESE GUYS NEED TO BE PUNISHED

The pirate ship landed in the ruins.
Spyro got out. He looked around. "Where is everyone?"
Gill Grunt landed in front of them. "I think half of them are on Earth, while others are smart."
Sonic Boom few over to him. "Smart?"
Gill Grunt smiled. "The Sorceress sent us here to eliminate the Skylanders and Sky Troops. The others probably knew that and ran off in fear."
"What?!?" Terrafin shouted. "So you helped with killing Stump Smash?!?"
Gill Grunt smiled. "Nope. Because why would we kill one of our team mates?"
Stump Smash walked over. "You guys really are dumb. Oh, and I'm not really called Stump Smash. My name is Potestatem!"
Boomer stared at them. "Latin? Like Umbra!"
Gill Grunt smiled. "Yep, he's also working with us."
Spyro shot fire at Gill Grunt. "I thought you were our friends Gill!"
"My name isn't Gill Grunt." he replied. "It's Gurgite!"

Potestatem prepared to mash them with his stumps. "Time to pound you guys down!"
Prism Break shot a beam of energy at them. "I'm beaming with power!"
Gurgite jumped onto Prism Break and shot his water hose at him. "You got hosed!"
Terrafin jumped and dived into Gurgite. "Time to dive in!"
Boomer ran around Gurgite. "Water you waiting for? I'm ready to explode into a fight!"
Potestatem shot an acorn at them. "I'm getting nuts! It's unbeleafable that you guys won't give up!"
Sonic Boom sighed. "Is this a fight, or a pun war?"
Spyro smiled. "These guys should be PUNished!"
Sonic Boom grunted. "Trust you to make a pun like that."

Trigger Happy jumped down and took out his guns. "I'm goint to shoot into this scene now!"
Potestatem smiled. "It's great to see you Pecuniam!"
Pecuniam shot some golden bullets at Spyro, and knocked him into the water. "That looks money!"
Spyro flew out. "That was terrible." He shot some fire at Pecuniam.
Pecuniam was angry. "That burns me up!"
Potestatem charged at Terrafin. "Wood you guys make like a tree and leaf?"
Boomer saw this and pushed Potestatem down onto the beach. "Sea what I did there?"
Terrafin jumped down. "Time to give you a knuckle sandwich."
Potestatem smiled. "No thanks, there's enough sand here to last me for a lifetime."

Gurgite shot three harpoons out. One at Prism Break, one at Spyro, and one at Sonic Boom. "You guys are fin-ished!"

Zelda sighed. "Can we end this chapter now, before they make any more bad puns?"

CHAPTER 21: BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL - OH, WHY NOT THE FIFTH ONE INSTEAD?

Previously on Sky Troops: Battles of the Evil. Bad puns were made, and well, that was it.

Zelda sighed. "Looks like they've stopped making bad puns now. Let's continue with this chapter."
Gurgite stared at her. "Who are you talking to? What do you mean by chapter?"
"Nevermind." Zelda replied.

Zelda started shaking. Her skin changed. Half black, half white.
Spyro ran over to her. "What's wrong Zelda?"
Pecuniam smiled. "It's happening! The spell is working!"
Her claws became purple, and a halo appeared above her head.
Zelda growled. "Who's ready to die?!?"
She shot a blast of electricity at Spyro. He fell down tot he floor, weakly.
Potestatem smiled. "They've suffered enough. Let's go."
Pecuniam, Gurgite, and Zelda nodded. They proceeded to leave when a bigger purple dragon blocked their path.
Terrafin looked over. "Malefor?"

Malefor shot a blast of Undead magic at the four. They tied to run off, but were blocked off by Ripto and Kaos.
Ripto walked upto them. "We'd like to have a word with you. Tell us what is up with Umbra!"
Gurgite smiled. "He's one of us."
Kaos stared at him. "Us?"
Potestatem sighed. "We work with the Sorceress."
"Come on! We don't need to tell them anything!" Pecuniam shouted.
They left.

Spyro got up and ran upto Malefor. "What's going on?"
Malefor sighed. "The other day, Umbra attacked us and left. And it now seems we have a familiar foe And we probably won't e able to bea her unless we wokr together."
Sonic Boom flew over to them. "Spyro, I'd hate to admit it, but he's right."
Ripto walked upto them. "So how about it? We set aside our differences to beat her."
Spyro thought. "Ok, but I still don't trust you."
Kaos nodded. "It's agreed, but we should get this done before Giants comes out - I'll be against you again."
Boomer stared at him. "What are you talking about?"
"Nevermind." Kaos replied.

Prism Break sighed. "Can we go the rest of this chapter without breaking the fourth wall?"
Ripto looked behind him. There were three broken walls and on which was fine. "Aw... we've already broken the other three... why can't we break the forth one too?"
Terrafin sighed. "He means... I don't know, what DO you mean?"
Prism Break facepalmed. "Forget I said anything."
Kaos looked at him. "Who are you? You never said your name."

Spyro sighed. "Could someone tell whoever is writing this thing to end this chapter?"

CHAPTER 22: THE LEGENDS OF THE FLAME(SLINGER) - PART 3

Flameslnger was walking around a desert. Link followed.
"You don't have to follow me ya know." Flameslinger said.
"I know." Link replied. "But I might as well help you out. So, where are we heading?"
Flameslinger thought. "Dunno."
Link looked around. "It's hard to believe that that forest we were in was only back 10 steps."

Flameslinger looked into the distance. He saw a pink blob.
"I must be halusinating." he said. "I see strawberry ice cream over there."
Link stared at it. "It's definately not ice cream. Let's check it out!"
They ran upto it. Some eyes and a mouth appeared.
"Poyo?" it asked.
"Who are you?" Flameslinger asked.
"Poy, poyo!" it replied.
"Kirby! I haven't seen you since Brawl!" Link said.
"Poyoyoyoyo!" it replied.
Flameslinger stared at Kirby. "Is that all you say?"
Kirby stared at Flameslinger. "No, not really. But it's easier to say that all the time."

Flameslinger and Link entered a temple. Kirby followed.
"Where are we heading?" Kirby asked.
"Dunno" Flameslinger replied. "But it feels like I need to come here urgently."
Link listened. "Did you hear that?"
Flameslinger listened. "It's coming from deep in the dungeon. Follow me."

Kirby looked around. He saw a treasure chest. "What's that?"
Link walked over to it. "A treasure chest. I'll open it."
He opened the treasure chest. He took out a Bomb Bag.
"Dah dah dah daaaaaahhh!" He said as he held it above his head.
Flameslinger stared at him. "What are you doing?"
"I'm doing my famous move." Link said. "Oh, and I have no clue why that tune always plays when I colloect an item."
Kirby stared at the bomb bag. "I bet that doesn't taste good."
Link facepalmed. "That's because you don't eat bombs. Speaking of which, I already have a bomb bag. Here Flamey, you can have it."
"Uh, thanks." Flameslinger said. "I'll give it to Boomer. It's his birthday next Tuesday."

They entered a dark room. Flameslinger took out his sword to light the way.
"Leave at once!"
"What was that?" Kirby asked.
Link thought. "It's the dungeon boss. There's always one."
"There wasn't in the last dungeon." Flameslinger said.
"That's because it wasn't a dungeon. It was a Fairy Fountain." Link replied.

A robotic dragon flew in. It had a silver body, claws and tail, with golden wings, and red eyes. "I warned you! No face the wrath of Gadora!

CHAPTER 23: THE BOOK AND BLUE HEDGEHOGS

Gulp sighed. "I wonder where the others have gone."
Crush looked at him. "What do you mean?"
"I heard that about sixteen disappeared the other day." Gulp replied.
Ghost-Writer walked upto him. "Where'd ya hear that?"
Gulp picked up a book. "From here."
Ghost-Writer picked up the book. He opened it. "TheSpyrofan12's fan fiction. This is the entire fan-fiction written here, so please don't speak about it. If found, please return it to him."
Crush looked at him. "Read it. What does it say about us?"
Ghost-Writer began reading. "Chapter 23... blah blah... Ok, we're going to the Ruins to meet up with Twister, Cyraa, Groak, Technovork, Sunburn and Drill Sergeant. We'll then find..."
Crush and Gulp had ran off towards the Ruins.
Ghost-Writer sighed. He followed them.

Sunburn, Groak, Cyraa, and Drill Sergeant ran upto the Core of Light. Twister and Technovork were standing next to it, with an unconsious blue hedgehog and human girl.
"Who are they?" Sunburn asked.
"We don't know," Twister replied. "They appeared here all of a sudden through some sort of portal, but not a natural one."
Groak thought. "You think they're aliens?"
"Negative." Drill Sergeant replied. "They do not possess the right DNA to be aliens."
"We can't leave them here." Cyraa said. "Maybe we could find a healing elixir to heal them."
Sunburn shook his head. "When Double Trouble went missing, so did all the Healing Elixirs."
Technovork stared at them. "They look fine."

Crush, Gulp, and Ghost-Writer ran over to the Core of Light.
"Just as the book says..." Ghost-Writer said.
"So it's like... he predicted the future..." Crush said.
Gulp started shaking. "I knew I should have took the third book too."
"Third book?" Crush asked.
Gulp nodded. "Yeah, I read the first one, which had about what happened since the Skylanders beat Kaos, untill they broke up, and this was the second one... I heard the writer of them is actually writing it up on this website called darkSpyro or something."

Sunburn walked upto Crush, Gulp, and Ghost-Writer. "Mind filling us in about what's going on?"

"I see..." Groak said. "What does the book say about me?"
Sunburn sighed. "We can't use that book. Knowing the future can be too risky."

The blue hedghog woke up. "Where am I?"
"Skylands." Technovork said. "And you are?"
"I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog!"
Drill Sergeant walked upto him. "He is not an enemy. My memories report of him being a hero who has saved the world many times."
Crush looked down at the human girl. "Who's you're friend there, Sonic?"
Sonic thought. "You know, we never actually introduced fully. Now that I think about it, I was the only one who said my name..."
The human girl woke up. "What's going on?"
"What was your name?" Sonic asked.
"Lucy." she replied. "Where are we?"

ONE EXPLANATION LATER

"Great." Lucy said. "Stranded on another planet."
"Found you!"
Everyone turned around.
Hex and Double Trouble were standing there.
"Prepare to fight!"

CHAPTER 24: THE RED HAT HERO SAVES THE DAY

"Gurgite, Pecuniam, and Potestatem have informed us on the difficaulty caused by your friends." Hex started. "Now it's time for payback!"
"But we didn't do it. Why are we getting punished." Gulp asked. "And wait! What's going on?"
"I thought something seemed odd when Double Trouble went missing." Sunburn said.
"I'm not really called Double Trouble. I'm actually called Magus!"
Hex smiled. "And my real name is Tenebris."

"Bzt... I am detecting a strange dark magic around them." Drill Sergeant said. "My calculations say that they are part of or working for/with Umbra. I am also detecting two more peices of dark magic nearby."
Bash and Ignitor jumped out from the bushes.
"Your smarter than you look Drilly." Bash said. "And before anyone else speaks, my real name is Petram."
"And I'm Anima!" Ignitor shouted.
"And this is my fist!" Technovork shouted, as he punched Anima in the face.
"I deserved that for some reason..." Anima said, as he fell to the floor.
"Less talk, more fight!" Magus shouted as he threw a magical bomb at everyone.

Sonic jumped up and homing attacked Magus. Sunburn then followed up with a blast of fire.
Drill Sergeant shot some rockets out at Tenebris, who deflected them back with some magical orbs. She then attacked Ghost-Writer with the orbs. Ghost-Writer used his pencil to draw a sheild around him, which defected the attacks off - and hit Cyraa.
"Watch it!" Cyraa shouted.
"Sorry." Ghost-Writer replied.

Twister ran over to Anima (who was still knocked out). Petram ran upto him and hit him on the head. He then rolled into Groak, who softeed his landing with a blast of air.
Crush, Gulp, and Technovork ran upto Magus - but were knocked out almost immediently but a tripwire.
"I'm just gonna stay back here for a while." Lucy said, hiding behind the Core of Light.

"Ghost-Writer..." Gulp weakly said. "What does the book say we need to do to win?"
Ghost-Writer opened the book. "It says that this guy in a red cap will help us. His name is..."
"Mario?" Sonic asked.
"I don't know." Ghost-Writer said. "It's terrible hand writing. I think it says... Naso."
"Who's he?" Sonic asked.
"Dunno, but he should be here soon." Ghost-Writer replied.

ONE HOUR OF ENDLESS FIGHTING LATER

"Maybe I read a different chapter..." Ghost-Writer said.
"You couldn't have realised that earlier, could you?" Sonic angrilly said.

"PK Thunder!"
A blast of thunder flew over and hit Magus, Tenebris, Petrum, and Anima.
"Retreat!" Tenebris shouted.
They ran off.

A boy walked upto Sonic. "Hey Sonic. Haven't seen you since Brawl."
Sonic looked at him. "Oh, it's... you!"
"You don't remember me do you." the boy said.
"No." Sonic said in embarisment.
"It's Ness." the boy said. "You know, from the Earthbound series."
"Kind of..." Sonic replied. "Hey, weren't you one of the guys, fighting that other guy, before I showed up?"
"Yes..."

CHAPTER 25: VILLAINS - GETTING DUMBER BY THE MINUTE!

Danny ran out in front. "Where are we?"
"Lorule." Pikachu replied. "I came here on holiday once."
Wrecking Ball thought. "I know this place! Flameslinger mentioned about it in his last postcard!"

CRASH!

"What was that?" Zap asked.
"I don't know," Drobot said. "But we should go check it out."
They ran off towards the sound.

"Well Crash, I'm suprised that you've made it this far. But I'm going to have to kill you before you interfere with the Sorceress's plans." a blue-skined human said.
An orange bandicoot jumped on his head. "Wait, N-Tropy, I thought you worked for Cortex."
"Well business has been slow, so I needed a new job." the man replied. "Nevermind though, your not gonna stop our plans to get rid of the deities!"
"What deities?" the bandicoot asked.
The man facepalmed. "Great. Why do I have to have a habit of revealing all secrets."

"Mind telling us what you know about the deities?" Danny asked.
"Well the Sorceress doesn't trust me, N-Tropy, enough to tell me the whole details," the man said, "but all I know is that if they're awakened, it could mean the end of her plans... and I just revealed another secret, didn't I?"
"What? I thought she died when Spyro kicked her butt ten years ago." Hunter exclaimed.
N-Tropy nodded. "She did, but she somehow survived!"
"That makes no sense..." Equator replied.
N-Tropy sighed. "I know."
The orange bandicoot walked upto Hunter. "Hey, you're that guy!"
"Uh, yeah." Hunter replied. "It's good to see you again Crash."
"Are we doing aother cross-over game?" Crash asked.

Ember ran upto N-Tropy. "Got any more secrets to tell us?"
N-Tropy shook his head. "No! I will not reveal anything else! Like that the Sorceress's base is near Skylands! ... Next time I reveal a secret, can someone slap me?"
"Anything else?" Danny asked.
"Well, Gadora is supposed to be fighting the fire deity soon..." N-Tropy started.
Crash slapped him. "This is fun!"

ONE HOUR LATER

N-Tropy had a red face. "Not to metion that two minions quit last week. Camelot and Dr. Duck! The Sorceress bet me big money that they's come back within this month, but I know it'll never happen!"
Crash slapped N-Tropy. "The first few minutes were fun, but this is too boring..."

"Go back to the Sorceress and tell her that she'll be defeated soon!" Danny said.
N-Tropy nodded. "Will do!"
He teleported away.
"If that's who we're up against," Pikachu said, "This will be easy."

CHAPTER 26: AIRGLE! PLUS, A PLUMBER

Hugo woke up. "Where are we?"
"Grn... Skylands." Voodood replied.
"What makes you think that?" Hugo asked.
"Chop Chop is trying to kill me." Voodood answered.

"You will now die for all the trouble caused." Chop Chop said, with his sword against Voodood's neck.
"Chop Chop," Hugo said. "You do realise that Voodood wasn't one of the real villains? He was being possesed!"
Chop Chop lowered his sword. "Really? I've been in the shower for the past week."
Voodood stared at him. "Why?"
"Nevermind about that now." Chop Chop replied.
Steve woke up. "What's going on?"

Slasher, Mage, Angel, and FireFox were relaxing on the beach.
"Hey, the Chopster is finally outta the bath!" Slasher said. "What took ya so long?"
Chop Chop, Hugo, Voodood and Steve walked upto them.
"Nevermind..." Chop Chop said.
"Well, it's good to finnaly be on this thing now - twenty six or so in." Mage said.
Angel stared at him. "Twenty six or so in? What are you talking about?"
FireFox looked into the distance. "Hey, Sgt Byrd and Agent 9 are heading this way... with some sort of eagle."

"Hello fellow Sky Troops," Sgt Byrd said. "I'd like you all to meet my brother."
The eagle stepped forward. "So you guys are James' friends huh? Cool, I'm Airgle."
Hugo walked upto him. "Hello Vac Eagle, what brings you here?"
"Alchemist." Airgle replied. "He found me and told me to come to Skylands while he finds the other Lost Skylanders."
"This guy is supposed to be of the air element." Agent 9 said. "Like how Alchemist is of the Magic element."

"STOP RIGHT THERE!"
Warnado ran upto them. "I have to eliminate you! Under orders of the Sorceress!"
"Warnado, what's up with you?" Chop Chop asked.
"I'm not really Warnado. I'm called Tempestas!" he shouted.
"Tempestas?" Steve said. "What kind of name is that?"
Tempestas shot a whirlwind at Steve. "LATIN!"

Brackish Water ran into Tempestas. "Ouch, watch it!"
"Brackish Water?" Angel asked. "What's going on?"
"Oh, I found this weird guy, who claims he can help us." Brackish Water replied.

A plumber wearing a red hat ran in and jumped on Tempestas' head.
Tempestas fell down - unconsious. "I.. knew I.... should have brought... the others..."
The plumber walked upto them. "My name's Mario. I'd like to help you guys with your fights."
Steve stared at him. "So, video games are real..."
Mario sighed. "Of course. Where do you think the ideas come from? Thoughts in people's heads?"

Everyone laughed
"Good one." Voodood said, trying not to laugh.

CHAPTER 27/FINAL: THE LEGENDS OF THE FLAME(SLINGER) - REVEALED!

Flameslinger took out his newly obtained sword.
Link took out the Master Sword.
Kirby took out a sandwich.
"What good will a sandwich do?" Flameslinger asked.
"Cure my hunger." Kirby replied.

Gadora shot a blast of dark magic at them. "Like it? My creator gave me these powers!"
Flameslinger swung his sword at Gadora, who quickly avoided it.
Link tried to stab Gadora with the Master Sword. Avoided.
Flameslinger took out his bow. "Take this!"
He repeatedly fired arrows at him.
Gadora started shooting lazers.
Kirby ran around - in panic. "Maybe I should inhale him!"

Kirby began inhaling. Gadora kept his grip on the floor.
Link and Flameslinger carried on attacking Gadora.
Kirby's inhale became stronger.

GULP

Flameslinger was inhaled!
"Spit me out!" he shouted.
Kirby spat him out.

Kirby began transforming.


Flameslinger Kirby!

Flameslinger Kirby dashed towards Gadora, aiming an arrow into his chest.
Flameslinger and Link realised what Kirby's plan was, and also aimed arrows into Gadora's chest.

POW!

Gadora fell.
A portal appeared.

"I'll get yous... later..." Gadora said.
Before he could enter the portal, a duck and a camel ran in.
"Please take us back! We should have never quit!" they begged.
Gadora smiled. "Dr. Duck. Camelot. Alright."
The three disappeared into the portal - leaving a heart shaped stone behind.

Link walked upto it, and picked it up.
"What are you doing?" Flameslinger asked.
"Duh," Link repleid. "I'm getting another Heart Container."

A blue light appeared.


Danny, Zap, Drobot, Wrecking Ball, Equator, Pikachu, Ember, and Hunter ran in.
"Hey Flamesy!" Danny said.
"Great to see you again!" Wrecking Ball cheered.
Flameslinger smiled. "Yes, it is. But what brings you here?"
"Searching for deities." Pikachu replied.
Link thought. "I heared about those. Apparently, if you read the ancient text in the back of the book, in this temple, the first deity will awaken."

Danny took out the book and began reading. "Excitaret antiquis vires in numina. Verum vires evigilabit. Excitandis primum, ingrediamur intot ipse hyacintho lux, amet hoc. Iter nunc incipiunt."
Drobot thought. "Latin."
"Could you translate?" Zap asked.
Drobot nodded. "Awaken ancient powers within the deities. True powers will awaken. To awaken the first, step intot he blue light, powered by this text. Your journey will now begin."

The blue light started glowing. They all walked into it.
