Chapter 9: The Forest of Souls.
The five dragons were deep in the woods, near another forest the Forest of Souls.
"How much fartherrrrr?" Spyro complained. Purple looked at him.
"It'll take as long as it needs to." Spyro grumbled.
"It was a mistake coming with you." He growled. Purple just sighed. Spyro looked at her.
"Whats the purpose of this journey anyway? Its not like we're the chosen dragons." Everyone circled him.
"Dont say that! I know we are!" Purples eyes began to change, but stopped after Skorpion and Cynder put their tailblades under his chin.
"Say that again and you wont have a breathing tube." They both growled. Spyro was about to attack but then Fireball asked,
"Umm... Guys... Where are we?" Everyone looked around. The trees had grey leaves, instead of green.
"Could this be? Nah.." Skorpion muttered.
"We should go hunting! I'm very hungry." Fireball said, Purple's stumach rumbled at those words. Purple looked at her paws, embarassed.
"I am too.." She laughed. Everyone thought hunting was a good idea, so they headed off.
"Hey guys! A sheep!" Purple whispered excitedly. She jumped on it, only for it to dimolish into the air.
"... What just happened?" Purple shivered. Skorpion sighed.
"This is called the Forest of Souls. Where animal souls go to-"
"Phew, only animals!" Fireball looked relieved.
"Uhh... I didn't finish.." Skorpion went on.
"and if we dont get out by midnight.. We will die here and our souls will be forced to stay here and be tortured horibbly." Everyone shivered.
"We've gotta get out!" Purple screamed.
"Not today.." A wolf voice sounded as it appeared with six wolves following.
"Who are you..?" Spyro and Cynder both asked at the same time.
"Jinx!" They both laughed. The wolf ignored them.
"I.. Am Master WL." He snarled.

Chapter 10: The Forest of Souls Part 2
Skorpion stepped up, his paws were unseen in the mist.
"WL? WHAT THE H!-" He was cut off as the wolves launched themselves at Skorpion, Skorpion's shape was lost due to the wolves fur. Purple unseathened her claws and growled.
"Why are you attacking Skorpion!?" Without warning, Lord WL clenched onto Purples spine, she screeched as he bit down. Out of instinct, she rolled over, but WL leaped off of her before she could squish him. Cynder and Fireball were busy with another wolf, trying to get rid of its soul. Purple's belly was exposed, making her an easy target. Out of fear, her body began in a wave of spasms, before she couldnt move. Her spine hurt and she couldnt hear a thing. WL leapt at Purple, but Spyro grabbed him by the chest and tore some fur off causing some blood to fall from the damaged skin. WL launched himself at Spyro, and bit him in the neck. Skorpion, Cynder and Fireball launched at him, attempting to save Spyro. Purple, still laying down, began to get up. She shook her head and realized what was happening, she leaped onto WL's back. She began to rip off fur from his back. He yowled and Spyro dropped to the ground, making a bang noise. Skorpion leapt up and managed to reveal bare skull from WL's head. WL shook the dragons off and fled with a yelp. After they were gone Cynder rushed to Spyro, which made Skorpion growl. Purple heard it and went to try to comfort him.
"You dont think they like eachother- do you?" She asked.
"Well i do, look at her, its obvious." He answered. Purple shook her head.
"C'mon Skorpion, youguys would make a great couple." Purple had no idea on what she was saying, but it made Skorpion smirk. She smiled and ran up to Spyro. He was breathing heavily, no one knowing what to do.
"We need to find shelter, but not here." She murmured.
"Like where? We're in the Forest of Souls, there is no place to feel safe anymore." Fireball whined. Purple glanced up.
"You think we wont get out?" She replied, and without waiting for an answer, she threw Spyro onto her back.

Chapter 11: The Forest of Souls Part 3
Fireball didnt say anything as they walked through the forest of the dead. Worry reflected on Cynder's eyes as she looked at Spyro. Skorpion growled yet again. Purple heard a crack of a stick. "Anyone hear that?" She asked. Everyone shook their heads. "Now." A farmiliar growl filled the air. Wolves leaped out, more then ever. "Ahhhhh!" Fireball screeched. "11:30!? We'll never make it!" He wailed. WL leaped out at Skorpion, WL's face was now torn. Half of it was a skull, the other still had the remaining eye and fur. "You did this! Now you'll pay!" "Idiot.." Skorpion muttered as he used his death element, which made WL go straight through. Purple yelped, she was surrounded by wolves- but she knew one thing: Protect Spyro. Purple soon leaped up, and kicked her legs rapidly. She broke their jaws as she did this-.. all except one. It grabbed her leg and threw her, Spyro fell off, regaining contiousness, he imediently activated by breathing fire. "Cant take the heat?" He laughed. WL landed clumsily on the ground, but got back up and launched himself again. Skorpion yawned and raised a paw, knocking WL over. He turned to WL. "Not bright eh? Oh how boring!" Skorpion yawned. WL snarled. "NOOO!!... I mean yes... I mean no! Ugh!" he let his claws slide out and leaped again. Skorpion grabbed the rest of his facial fur and ripped it off. With a yelp he fell to the ground, his face began to bleed and he turned to dust and his spirit went up. "11:59! We wont make it-" Skorpion pushed them, running as fast as he could to the exit. "5 seconds!? We wont make it!" Fireball screamed, but just then, Skorpion used his death element and made it out with them in time. He licked the blood from his claws and ignored the staring of his unusual allies.

Chapter 12: Dragon City.
"What!?" Skorpion finally broke the awkward silence.
"H-how how how how how'd you do that!?" Fireball asked. Skorpion returned to cleaning blood from WL's wound. "An element, y'know, like fire." "Ohhhh..." Fireball turned away from them and tried to breath fire, but all that came out was a fireball. Everyone stopped, even Skorpion. "Why'd you shoot a fireball?" Skorpion asked. "I cant breathe fire, but i can shoot fireballs." He said. Spyro looked confused. Purple came up to them. "Where do you think he got his name?" She asked. "Oh. Lets go." Cynder said quickly. Fireball looked at Purple, who nodded. Purple let Fireball go first and she went at the back. So.... Dragon City im guessing? "Purple! You comin!?" Skorpion called. Purple realized she was way behind. She ran up to all of them. "Sorry!" Without replying, they both turned around and began to walk again. Purple followed close behind.

"We're almost there!" Purple yowled. "How do you know?" Cynder asked. "Well shes-" Skorpion was cut off. "Purple peanut butter!"Fireball yowled. "Sometimes, your randomness amuses me." Spyro growled playfully. "Haha, thanks!" Fireball ran ahead, and all you would hear, was a gasp. "What!?" Everyone ran up ahead to see what Fireball saw. Everyone gasped. There was a war in Dragon City, and they were loosing!

Chapter 13: Rushing to the Rescue!
"C'mon guys! We're almost there!" Purple shouted. "and by almost there, you mean 5 MINUTES AWAY!?" Spyro growled. "Just run okay!?" Fireball shouted at Spyro. "Ugh." He began to run faster, trying to get ahead of Purple, but failing. "When me and Skorpion...uhh.... lets just say visited the Dragon City... there was no war!" Cynder shouted. Skorpion smirked at the word visiting. "When were you there?" Purple asked. "Yesterday, just before we met." Purple looked up, the city was in ruins! Well... nearly.. All of a sudden, Purple tripped. "Gwah gwah!" These wierd blobs came out. They were purple with axes. "Great. just.. great." Skorpion growled. He went to slash one with his claws, but it just sucked his arm in. "Huh!?" Skorpion tried to pull it out, but it wouldnt come out. "Let go!" He yowled. "Scratch it!" Cynder yelled at Fireball and Spyro. Spyro was just sitting there giggling. "pfffff...pfffpffpffff.... opfffff....kay.." Cynder, Fireball and Spyro all went to slash the weird purple slime-balls. They failed. Their limbs also got sucked in. "Purple! Help!!!" Purple got up, she was surrounded. Well if clawing it wont work.... Breath will! Purple growled and got into an attacking position. "Youguys arent very social... are you?" She asked. The blobs looked at eachother, then at Purple and launched themselves at her. "Purple! No!" Everyone screamed. Purple closed her eyes, and let fire come from her nose. The blobs began backing away, but they didnt make it. "Melt!" Purple screamed before they melted. "Thanks Purple." Everyone shouted, well, except for Spyro and Skorpion. Purple looked patheticly at them before running towards Dragon City.

"Looks like they've found the Slime-balls weakness... a shame." Darklord sighed. Inigo was panting from his training. "So, basicly, they can beat anything?" He asked. Darklord growled at Inigo. "Of course not! These are simple! For example.." He pointed a blood-stained claw towards a Slime-ball. "Attack it." Inigo nodded and breathed shadow breath. He defeated it easily. "Oh i see...." He muttered. "Back to training!" Darklord growled. "What can we call you.. uhh... sir?" Darklord laughed. "Well you can call me what I told you to, or you could just call me Darkloss." Inigo nodded before getting back to training with his new allies.
