Chapter 31 Temple of the Gauntlet

Bone entered a strange corridor full of torches. He walked down it and found a huge chamber with a huge pool of water in it. He looked around the chamber and saw a huge ledge with a switch on it. He flew up to it and pulled it. The water level lowered.

Now the pool was revealing a switch in the waters. Bone dove off the ledge and into the water. He swam towards the switch and pulled it.

A gate at the very bottom of the pool opened leading into a tunnel. Bone swam towards the bottom of the pool and stopped when he heard a hissing noise. He turned around to see two green water snakes swimming towards him.

Bone pointed his gauntlet at the snakes and shot them clean out of the water. He lowered the gauntlet and began to feel loss of air. He had to get air fast, so he swam through the gate and through the watery tunnel. He swam up and popped out into a small room. He began to breathe as he got out of the water.

Ahead was a tunnel leading into yet another chamber. He walked through it and then saw that there was huge statue of a Golem in the center of it. A staircase was nearby, leading up to several ledges surrounding the Golem statue. One of the Golem's hands was on one of the ledges, a walkway leading to the Golem's chest was attached to the ledges.

Bone walked up the stairs and looked around on the ledge. He walked across the platform and up to the Golem's chest. 3 holes shaped like rectangles were on it. He walked back to the ledges and looked at the wall. A message was on the wall: Find the 3 golden bars and place them in the Golem's chest, then you'll see that you'll be very close to finding what you search for.

Bone noticed three doors up on these ledges leading into other chambers. 3 switches were next to each door. He went up to one and pulled it. The door flew open, leading into a tall chamber full of traps. Bone went inside and saw a long staircase leading to the top of the chamber. Slashing traps were on them.

Bone ran up the stairs and jumped over the traps. He ducked under another one. He looked back to see that the stairs began to collapse into nothingness. He ran up the stairs, avoiding the other traps and reached the top, leading onto a ledge.

The stairs collapsed. A switch was on this ledge. Bone pulled it; the nothingness revealed a small tunnel. Bone flew into the nothingness and walked through the tunnel. He entered a chamber. A pedestal was in the center, a golden bar a top it.

Bone snatched the gold and the chamber began to rumble. A small mummy-cat popped out of nowhere and began to chase after Bone. He shot it with the gauntlet, but the cat was invinsible. The rumbling stopped, revealing a passage leading back to the statue chamber.

Bone ran through it as fast as he could and ran out onto the ledge. The tunnel collapsed, keeping the cat from getting back out. Bone clutched the gold and walked up to the Golem's chest. He stuck the gold piece into its spot. One of the Golem's eyes lit up.

Bone walked up to the next chamber and pulled the switch. The door flung open. Bone walked into the chamber with a large tunnel leading up into a room, where the pedestal with the gold a top it stood. Bone walked through the tunnel and entered the room.

Bone walked up to the gold and saw that a huge statue holding a ball was behind the gold. This is the too easy. The gold is right in front of me. There's gotta be a trap or something...

Bone snatched the gold and the statue began to shake. The ball felt out of its hands and began to roll towards Bone. He ran down the tunnel. I knew it! there was a trap!

At the bottom of the tunnel, the floor collapsed into a huge dark gap. Above it was a stick attached to the wall. Bone could jump for it and the ball would go down the gap. Bone ran down the tunnel, the ball still chasing him. He reached the bottom and jumped for the stick. He clutched it and the ball sped past him. It fell down the gap.

Bone turned around and looked up the tunnel. The statue revealed a tunnel. He let go of the stick and ran up the tunnel. He ran through the tunnel and entered the Statue Chamber. He went up to the Golem and placed the gold in the spot. Its other eye lit up. Bone walked over to the last door and pulled the lever. The door flung open and he walked into the final chamber.

Chapter 31 Temple of the Gauntlet Part 2

Above, Bone saw several giant swords hanging from the ceiling. Ahead was a small walkway, very unstable. Two fire waves were firing at it. And beyond the walkway was another chamber.

Bone looked up at the swords and slowly put one paw into the chamber. The swords immediatly began to drop from the ceiling. Bone stepped back as the last two swords stabbed the ground. He walked into the sword area and looked to the other side of the walkway. Then he looked at the flames. He noticed that they turned off every 10 seconds.

Bone had to make it across, so he waited for the fires to turn off. They did and he charged out onto the walkway. The walkway immediatly began to fall apart from all the weight. Bone jumped off the walkway right as it crumbled into nothingness. He grabbed onto the other side of the abyss and pulled himself up. He got away from the flames right as they turned back on.

Bone looked ahead into a chamber. He walked inside and saw the last gold bar on a pedestal. He ran up to it and snatched it. The room began to shake and poisonous waters began to fill in it. Bone had to think fast, so he jumped up and grabbed onto a crack in the wall. He saw a ledge where he could escape at the top of the chamber. He climbed his way up to the ledge and then jumped onto it. The liquid raised all the way up to the ledge, but then stopped.

Bone went through a small passage at the ledge and found his way out to the statue chamber. He walked up to the Golem's chest and placed the final gold bar. The Golem's statue came to life for a second and pounded its chest. Then it went back to normal.

A door opened behind the Golem's head. Its hand that laid on the ledge began to glow. Bone walked over to it and stood on it.

The Golem came to life again and moved the hand all the way over to the open door, where Bone hopped off and continued through the temple. Ahead was a big chamber. Several stone beams were in this room, leading to a ledge high up. On the ledge was a black glass.

Bone looked around and then pointed the gauntlet at one of the beams and blasted it. The beam fell over and crashed into the ledge, breaking the glass. A stone door ahead began to rumble, revealing a hallway leading to the final chamber of the temple. Bone walked down the hallway and entered the big chamber. Ahead was the other gauntlet, hanging on the wall.

Bone walked up to the gauntlet and was just about to grab it when the way out collapsed and a ghostly moan echoed through the chamber. He was trapped, but he wasn't alone. A red ghost popped out of a wall and floated in front of Bone.

"Ahh!!" screamed Bone. He jumped back at the sight and held his gauntlet up to it.

The ghost made a ghostly howl and floated towards Bone. Bone blasted the ghost with the gauntlet, but it didn't do anything. The ghost continued to howl. It held its palms out and it shot red power out of them.

Bone jumped back avoiding the power and continued to blast the ghost, but it still didn't do anything. He growled, frustrated. The ghost fired the red power again.

Bone jumped back and ran around the chamber, but was soon trapped in a corner. The ghost howled again and reached out to grab Bone.

Bone put his gauntlet up to his face in self defense. Suddenly, the ghost touched Bone and reached back in pain. The gauntlet at shocked the ghost. Bone looked at the gauntlet and got back up.

The ghost shot red power at him. Bone put his gauntlet up to it and the power deflected right back at the ghost, making it weaker.

The ghost howled in pain and created a power cyclone. It continued to shoot the red power.

Bone dodged the cyclone and deflected the red power. The ghost screamed in pain and backed up. Bone walked towards the ghost threateningly, cornering it.

The ghost disappeared and reappeared behind Bone. It shot power at him.

Bone quickly span around and deflected the power. The ghost screamed in pain and floated into the center of the chamber. Bone walked towards it.

The ghost created a cyclone, then disappeared and reappeared behind Bone. It shot the red power at him.

Bone deflected the power, avoiding the cyclone. The ghost was it and sent flying into the center of the room. It howled in pain and then blew up. Green, red, and black spirits began to float out of it. The spirits disappeared.

Bone walked over to the other gauntlet and snatched it. The chamber rumbled and water began to fill up the room. The water lifted Bone up into a tunnel. He was swept away through the tunnel, along with the water. He continued to be swept through the tunnel, running out of air. Suddenly, the tunnel led out onto a waterfall leading into Twilight Falls.

Bone flew away from the waterfall and landed down in Twilight Falls. He looked at both his gauntlets and soon began to feel energy serging through his body like a shock wave. The gauntlets flashed white and Bone knew he had their ultimate power.

Chapter 32 Learning the Moves

Bone walked through the forest of Twilight Falls, power still serging through him. He became very warm inside. He walked deeper into the forest and stopped in a wide open area where a waterfall was ahead. He began to hear noises coming from around him. The noises stopped and Bone continued to walk.

Suddenly, Bone's gauntlets flashed red. He felt a sharp erge to turn around. He swirled around to see a blue grublen about to hit him with a stick. He blasted it.

Bone looked at his gauntlets and suddenly, they began to rumble. Firery waves flew out of them and into the air. The fire formed words. They read: One of the new abilities of us gauntlets is dragon sense. It causes you sense someone about to attack you. Try it on other grublins.

Bone's gauntlets flashed again and he turned around and blasted two green grublins. The red words formed another message.

Good work. Another ability that we have is the lightning dash. Just lower your horns, put us out in front of you and charge. You will dash into the strongest of enemies faster than the speed of sound. Try it on those grublins.

Bone looked around to see 3 purple grublins flying towards him. He stuck the gauntlets in front of him, lowered his horns, then he dashed right through one of the grublins. The grublins fell on the ground and died. Bone did a lightning dash at the other two grublins. The words changed again.

Very good. You already know the blasting ability, but there are more powerful blasts than that. You must learn the power shot. It is the same thing as a regular blast, except before you do it, throw your arms back. A mega blast even bigger than a regular blast will fire. Try it.

Bone threw back his arms and then threw it in front of him. A giant green blast shot out of the gauntlet. The words changed again.

You are very close to mastering the blasting abilities. But there is one more. The ultra blast. It's the same thing as the power shot, except you need to make a fist when throwing your arms back. Try it.

Bone did as he was told. A gigantic purple blast shot out of the gauntlets. It was bigger than the waterfall. The words changed.

Bravo! You have mastered the blasting abilities. Now we are on to more powerful attacks. Now it is time for the Astro Strike. Put one paw up in the air and then make a fist. After that, just simply punch towards the enemy, but don't hit him. 3 astroids will come out of no where and strike the enemy. Try it on that huge orc.

Bone looked to see a big orc with a sword. He put his fist up in the air and punched at the orc. Several red astroids shot at the orc and killed it in a wave of light.

Nice work. Now for Invisibility and Teleporting. Smash us together and you will turn invisible. This only works for 30 seconds. After that you will become visible again. As for the teleporting, just simply smash us twice instead of once. Try these on those two orcs.

Bone smash the gauntlets together once and then turned invisible. He stalked up towards a big fat orc and then blasted him. He turned visible again. The other orc charged at Bone, who teleported away. The orc scratched its hairy head wondering where he went. Bone appeared behind the orc and blasted him.

Excellent! Now to learn the Power Vortex. Spin around 2 times and a huge vortex will form, sucking in only the evil people. This will take the bad guys to the dark realm, Convexity. Try it on those 10 apes.

10 apes jumped off the watefall and landed in front of Bone. They laughed and charged at Bone. He spun around two times and a black vortex formed above him. The apes roared as they were sucked into the vortex. The vortex ended.

Nice one! Now it is time to learn the Fire Twister. Spin around one time and a fire tornado will form around you. Don't worry, the twister will only hurt the bad guys, not you. Now use it on those 5 pirates.

5 pirates from the pirate ships ran into the area and slashed at Bone. Bone spun around once and formed the fire twister. He twisted towards the pirates. The pirates were sucked into the twister and then burnt to ashes. The twister disappeared.

Very impressive, but there is still one more power that you have yet to learn: the Final Fury. Fly up into the air and wrap your wings around you. Then unwrap them to unleash a mighty fury of power. This fury is all the furries in the universe formed together. It is a very mighty power and can only be used once every month. So make sure you use it wisely. Since I am just teaching you this, you get two furries for this month. Now use this power to destroy all 50 of those dreadwings.

50 dreadwings began to fly towards Bone. He flew up into the air and unleashed the Final Fury. Fire, Ice, Earth, and Electricity shot at the dreadwings, plus a wave of light. One by one the dreadwings died, until none remained.

Fantastic! You have now learned all of our abilities. Combined with the staff you will be unstoppable. Now all of our abilities will be hard to remember, but you'll get used to it. Thankyou for going through our training.

The words disappeared and Bone flew up in the sky and above the forest. He saw a blue sea nearby, an island was out there. Bone hadn't been to this island before, so he flew towards it.

Chapter 33 The White Isle

Bone began to fly closer to the isle when he noticed that it was glowing white. He wondered if this was an ancient island. Bone landed softly at the entrance of a cave. He stared through the green cave. He walked through it until he reached a part of the cave where the color changed to blue.

Bone continued to walk through the strange cave until the color changed to yellow. He eventually reached a red area of the cave, a white snowy mass of island was outside. He walked out into the strange cold area of ice. He stopped when he saw something in a small piece of ice.

Bone looked into the ice chunk to see an orange creature. It was very furry. The creature had shorts and shoes. Bone wasn't sure to let this creature out or to keep it in there. He decided to see what it was.

Bone blasted the ice chunk and out popped the strange creature. It looked around and began to run around wild. It span around in tornadoes and then jumped away through the island.

"What the heck was that thing? This place is a wacko island..." said Bone. He looked up to see a tunnel at the top of a mountain.

Bone flew up to it and flew through the tunnel. He landed in an icy area. Several life-size warrior statues were in the area. Suddenly, they ran at Bone.

"Woah!" cried Bone. He jumped to the side as a warrior attempted to stab him in the gut. Bone created a Power Vortex and sucked all the warriors into it. He closed the vortex and looked around the icy area. It was a dead end, a gigantic door in the way. He looked up to see and icy formation that he could walk acrossed.

Bone flew up and landed on a mountain. He walked across the ice and saw a hole leading into the building. He looked down it to see a pool of water. He swan dived down the hole and landed in the water. He immediatly felt cold. He swam out of the pool and stood on the stoney ground. He had jumped into a chamber. 5 doors were ahead, all closed. 4 of them were blue, red, green, and yellow. The other door was just a plain old door.

In the center of the chamber was a platform that was glowing. Bone walked up to it and stood on it. Suddenly, he was transported into a dark realm. He looked around the place and then gasped when he saw a black dragon standing in front of him. It was some dark that he couldn't identify who it was. Bone assumed it was Convexity.

"Alright, Convexity! I know you are trying to trick me! I am not a fool!!" growled Bone.

The dragon did not respond. He raised his paws and then lowered them back to the ground. The dragon then said, "This is not Convexity."

"What???" wondered Bone, "Then who are you then?"

"Are you really that foolish?! I am... your father." said the dragon.

What the?!This is getting intense.

Chapter 34 Bone vs. Fears

"But how?!" shrieked Bone.

"This world is designed for young dragons to face their ultimate fears. And I am one of them." said Spyro.

"How could you give me up to those horrible dragons?!" growled Bone.

"I don't know. Why don't you ask me." chucked Spyro.

"Enough with the jokes! It's time to finish you!" said Bone. He charged at Spyro and blasted at him.

Spyro jumped out of the way and sprang at Bone. He began to breathe fire all over him.

Bone screamed in pain and smacked Spyro really hard in the face. He lightning dashed into him.

Spyro roared and swiped at Bone.

Bone dodged the attack and astro struck Spyro. He jumped out of the way for any other attacks.

Spyro fell to the ground, "You have defeated me. But you haven't defeated -"

"-Me!" Spyro transformed into a red dragon Bone's size. The dragon had a blade.

"Who are you supposed to be?!" growled Bone.

"Comet, your brother. You will meet me in the future." said the dragon. Comet slashed his blade at Bone.

Bone jumped back and ultra blasted Comet. He did turned invisible.

Comet roared in pain, "Show yourself!"

Bone ultra blasted Comet from behind.

Comet was hit. He fell to the ground.

Bone turned visible and astro struck Comet.

Comet roared in pain and slashed at Bone.

Bone jumped back and ultra blasted Comet. He glared at him.

Comet roared, "No!!!" He fell to the ground and his body began to dissolve. Suddenly, in Comet's place rose the hulking Convexity.

"Convexity!" cried Bone.

"You mussst give me the cryssstalsss, Bone. Or elssse." hissed Convexity.

"Or else what?! What are you going to do?! I have enough power to send you back to the shadow realms where you belong!" exclaimed Bone.

"Trussst me Bone, you will give me the cryssstalsss!!!" roared Convexity. He shot darkness at Bone.

Bone jumped out of the way and ultra blasted Convexity, "I will not!!"

Convexity hissed, "Very well... Congratulations! You have survived your fears. You are now able to speak to me!"

"What?" wondered Bone. The shadow realms disappeared and Bone reappeared in the strange caves.

A grey dragon was in front of him, "Come into my home and I will tell you everything."

The dragon walked through one of the doors and into a huge hourglass room.

Bone followed him.

Whoa, sorry I missed a lot! I wasn't on much (I did manage to get on for a few minutes yesterday, thursday and either tuesday or wednesday, I can't remember- might not have actually gone on Darkspyro- but I didn't get time to read the chapters until now.) Great chapters, I particularly like the fears in chapter 34.

Chapter 35 The Chronicler's Tale

Bone looked at the wise dragon as he sat down next to the hourglass. Several books were in the room, and a perticular one was black. In silver letters was the name Bone.

"I... am the Chronicler." said the dragon.

"Why did you call me?! I only wish to get to the dragon castle." replied Bone.

"I have called you to tell you of the great happenings in your future that you may want to know." said the Chronicler. The black book floated down to Bone. It opened up on the page of his birth.

"When you were born, your father didn't trust you. He thought you would be the one to bring him down. And when the Minestry of Darkness came to your home, he knew that was the only way to get rid of you." said the Chronicler.

"I've hated my father ever since then. I might as well go join those dragons." replied Bone.

"Those dragons are trully evil, Bone. I think you should think about that before you make your choice." said the Chronicler.

"I have no where to go now. I'd rather choose them than Convexity." said Bone.

The Chronicler shook his head, "As I was saying, after you escaped the Ministery of Darkness, you may not have known this, but your mother pleeded for you to come back."

"Mother?" asked Bone.

"Yes. 5 years later, while you were living with Thomas, Spyro had finally lost it. He pleeded out for you and cursed the day he ever said the Ministery could have you." said the Chronicler.

"He really loved me didn't he???" wondered Bone.

"Yes. All this time you have hated him. I know Spyro well and I kjnow he would never trully hate you. I know him because I am a close friend of his. I am his old guardian, Ignitus." said the Chronicler.

Bone had heard stories of the great Ignitus, he had sacrificed himself to save Bone's parents. "Well Ignitus."

"Please, just call me Chron." said Ignitus.

"Well, Chron, tell me more." said Bone.

"After you had left, the Ministery of Darkness was not happy one bit. They tortured Rex for not trapping you. He is still alive today, searching for you. The Ministery lives somewhere in the Mountain of Malefor. If you are to get to the dragon castle, then you must trek through the Ministery's terratory." said the Chronicler.

Bone nodded his head a looked at the Chronicler for more information.

The Chronicler looked at Bone, "As for the Comet I showed you back there, he is very powerful. He is your long-lost brother and he is the same age as you. He left your home a week before you were born. Trust me Bone, Comet is a mighty foe and will one day be the downfall of you if you continue to help Convexity."

"I don't believe it." said Bone.

"It is true. Convexity is planning to use your powers and strength to destroy the world. He is only trying to trick you into joining his side. He is not a good person." said the Chronicler.

"Yeah I already knew that. I am planning to use my powers to destroy him." said Bone.

"That is not a very good idea. The hero who will destroy him is not you. I wouldn't mess with him, he was the one who made Malefor the dark master. He is all the evil in the world put together. He is pure evil, the first evil that ever existed. He can kill thousands with just one slash of a claw. Malefor may have been bad, but Convexity is even worse." explained the Chronicler.

"Yeah, I get the point. Now tell me more about my future." said Bone.

"You must not go to Convexity. I'm telling you this for your own good. As for your future, if Comet is to defeat you then you will enter the shadowy darkness, the shadow realms, Convexity's domain. If this happens then you must go through it and found the 3 dark gems to get back out. In the end, everything will be all right. I am afraid that is all I can tell you." explained the Chronicler.

"Can you show me the way to the Mountain of Malefor?" asked Bone.

"Yes." said the Chronicler. The book closed and floated back up to its place with the rest of the books. The hourglass floated off the ground and up in the air. A huge hole revealed underneathe.

"Woah!" cried Bone.

"Go through there, it will take you straight to the mountain. Be careful with the Ministery of Darkness." said the Chronicler.

"I will." replied Bone. He flew down the hole and through a tunnel.

The hourglass covered up the hole and the Chronicler sied, "Oh Bone, I know you will make the right choice."

First day of middle school tomorrow, I'm so scared.

Chapter 36 The Mountain of Malefor

Bone flew out onto a huge stone walkway in a mountain range. A huge mountain in the center was flowing with green ooze. "That Mountain of Malefor... let's just hope the Ministry isn't expecting me."

Bone flew towards the huge mountain and landed in front of a door. He opened it slowly and looked inside to see if anyone was inside. He went into a strange chamber. A well was in the center of it. Bone looked down it to see another chamber down it. He flew down the well and landed in a giant chamber. A statue of Malefor was in it and several candles were surrounding it.

Bone looked around to see a ledge leading outside. He ran onto it and overlooked the horrid green horizon. Several dreadwings flew at him. Bone blasted the dreadwings and flew up towards the top of the mountain. He stopped when he saw 5 dragons entering the top of it. One of them was Rex.

Bone waited for them to leave and flew up to the top of it. He landed in front of a huge hole. He looked down it into a dark pit of despair. He flew down it slowly and landed in a huge chamber where a shattered throne sat and a hole in the ground was. He flew down it and entered a small cave. It was a dead end. Where would he go?

Bone looked in the small cave. He was feeling claustrophobic. He saw nothing and decided to turn back. He stepped on a rock and suddenly, a hidden door flung open. He walked through it and entered a long hallway. Dragon roars were heard in the distance. Bone began to walk down the hallway slowly. Torches were the only light. There were only two, so it was pretty dark in some places.

Bone stopped when he came across a dead end. He looked up to see a tunnel that he could fly through. He flew up it and threw the tunnel. Green trolls appeared and began to slash at Bone as he flew. He just simply ultra blasted them. He landed in a fiery chamber, green ooze surrounding the area.

Bone looked around for any other way. Suddenly, the ooze began to rise. He gasped and flew up to the top of the chamber. He landed on a ledge where a door was. He opened it and walked through it. Suddenly, it led to a huge pit of despair. Nothing to grab onto. Bone fell down the pit and landed hard on the ground. He looked at his surroundings, but couldn't see a thing.

Suddenly, Bone felt something touch his skin. He looked around and saw a shadow of a dragon walk through the shadows. "Who's there?" said Bone.

All of a sudden, he was hit in the head by a large metal object. He fell to the ground unconscious. The figure picked him up and carried him off.

Good luck with your school! You'll be fine, I'm sure.

Chapter 37 The Ministry of Darkness

Bone awoke chained to a huge pillar. His gauntlets had been taken off his paws. No possible way to escape. He looked around and saw that he was in a small chamber. A dragon guard was snoring loudly.

Bone struggled to break free when the chains rattled loudly. The dragon woke up in a heart beat, "What?" He wondered.

Bone stopped moving. He waited for the dragon to go back to sleep, but he looked away. Bone quickly moved as far as he could on the chain and hid behind a statue to the left. The guard awoke. He got up and pulled out and shocking stick. He wondered where Bone was gone.

"Where did he go..." wondered the dragon guard. He turned the corner of the statue and saw Bone, "Hey!!"

Bone punched the guard in the face as hard as he could. The dragon fell to the ground, bleeding horribly. His eyes rolled up and he stopped breathing.

Bone looked for a way to get the chains off. He looked up at the statue. The statue was of a dragon on two feet clutching a gigantic sword (It's real). He walked back over to the pillar and began to climb up it. He climbed as high as he could and snagged onto the statue's arm. The chain pulled on him.

Bone snatched the blade and landed on the ground. He clutched the blade and began to cut the chains. He cut them off and looked around the chamber for a way out. There was no possible way. Just when he was about to give up, a wall slid open, and a black dragon came out of the strange passage. It was Rex.

"Don't even try to use that weapon on me." growled Rex.

Bone raised the blade and tossed it at Rex's head. Rex immediately clutched the blade halfway from his head. He crushed it into bits, paws bleeding. Bone gulped. Rex threw the sword against the wall.

"Master Astrix wants a word with you." said Rex. He stuck his paw at Bone and shot dark magic at Bone. He gained full control of his body and broke the chains. He walked off with Bone through the passage. The walked into a huge chamber. Ahead was a golden throne, where there sat a very ancient red fire dragon.

"Ah, I see you have brought Bone." said Astrix.

"Yes, master." said Rex. He stepped back, pushing Bone in front of Astrix.

"Your father said that we could have you. For you see, when ever a dark dragon is born, we sense this. We go to these dragons and ask them to join our Ministry. You, Bone, are a dark dragon." said Astrix.

"No! That isn't true." replied Bone.

"Oh but it is true, you see Bone, you are destined for darkness. If you do not then you are destined for failure. You will join our Ministry. Your father signed our contract for you to come. We own you now." said Astrix.

"No!! I will not join you and your evil group. I am a good dragon!!" growled Bone.

"Then why did you kill those innocent moles at Warfang? Why did you let those apes escape?" asked Astrix.

Bone gasped and the room went silent.

"Exactly. You loved it. You wanted to kill, you wanted to befriend evil. That is why you belong with here with us." said Astrix.

10 dragons of different colors and sizes came in. They surrounded Bone.

Bone did not reply. He was too scared and prideful.

"Don't worry, you will learn to love our Ministry. Take him away to the corruption chamber." siad Astrix.

Bone gasped and struggled to escape. The dragons clutched Bone and carried him off.

Astrix smiled," Rex."

"Yes, master?" asked Rex.

"Prepare the destruction of this world." said Astrix.

Chapter 37 Dark Escape

Bone was throne into a chamber and shocked by a shocking stick. He hissed in pain and got back up. The dragons knocked him back to the ground and pinned him down.

"Prepare the corruption." said a green one to an ogre.

"Yes, Brother Zambian." grunted the ogre. He pulled a lever and purple light suddenly shot down from the ceiling.

The green dragon clutched Bone and raised him up by the throat. Bone gagged for air as the dragon began to squeeze his throat. He slammed his body into the purple light.

Bone screamed in pain as he felt the strange power begin to serge through him. He glanced over at the ogre in pain. A screen was next to him, showing Bone on it. His picture began to fill up with purple energy.

"15%..." said the ogre.

The dragons began to nod.

Bone soon felt a sharp pain in his wings. They began to stretch as they grew 3 times as bigger than they were before. Holes appeared in them. Several sharp pointy red crests popped out in between his regular crests.

"35%." said the ogre.

Bone was screaming in pain as the purple energy surged deeper into his body. His tail grew longer and his red tail spike grew too, this time it was a lot more pointy. His claws grew too, they were extra sharp.

"65%..." said the ogre.

Bone glanced at his picture on the screen. It was more than half full. Bone's body then grew 3 times as bigger than before. His head was still small, so it looked like it was shrunken.

"85%." said the ogre.

"Any second now..." said the green dragon.

Bone's head grew to the right size. Then his horns grew too. A piercing appeared above his head. It pierced Bone's horn to make him look like a bad guy.

"95%... Come on..." said the ogre.

Bone knew this was the end of his old life as he knew it. He soon felt a need to kill in his mind. His fangs grew.

The ogre pressed a button and a huge glass tube came down above Bone, in casing him inside in case if he tried to do anything.

"97%... 98%... 99%..." said the ogre.

The green dragon grinned, but soon a read light began to flash on the screen. The words 'Overload! Evacuate!' appeared on the screen.

The dragons gasped and made for the exit.

"No!!! I can stop this!!" cried the ogre. He ran at the control panel and tried to stop the corruption.

"No!" roared Zambian. He charged into the ogre, "What are you doing?! We could all be killed by Master Astrix if we didn't corrupt him!"

"You don't understand! Run before it happens!!" cried the ogre.

Just then, the screen reached 100% and a huge explosion started inside the tube. The tube shattered into a million pieces of glass, They flew at everyone, some got stabbed in the chest by them. The explosion echoed across the chamber and light formed around the inside of the tube. Bone floated up in the air and landed in front of the dragons. His body was pure white.

The remaining dragons backed up, a bit scared. The ogre had been killed in the explosion. Zambian growled, "We didn't want him to be this evil!! Just wait when Astrix finds out."

"Quiet you fool! Astrix will not find out if I escape!!" hissed the strange Bone. He shot a black beam out of his palm and at the dragons.

They flew out of the way. Bone floated through the door and out into the corridors. He sped up and floated down the hallway. Several dragons began to chase after him.

Bone floated into the throne room where there sat Astrix.

"You fools!! Why did you make him this powerful?! Now he is strong enough to defeat me!" roared Astrix out to no one.

Rex flew into the room.

"Take care of him! I must escape!!" roared Astrix.

Rex looked at Bone and shot a blast of darkness at him.

Bone was hit, but didn't feel a thing. He looked at Rex and shot a more powerful blast of darkness at Rex. It hit him and knocked him into the wall.

Rex got up and glared at Bone. Astrix had already fled the room. Rex charged into another chamber where there was a huge machine. It was shooting red light out of it and into the air.

Bone floated into the room and chased Rex towards the machine. He shot a blast of darkness at him.

Rex jumped out of the way, but the blast hit the machine, causing a massive explosion. Rex ducked for cover while Bone floated as fast as he could a corridor. He saw the two gauntlets on top of a table and snatched them while he was going for the exit. He put them on and power surged into him.

Bone floated towards a door and crashed through it. He appeared outside of the mountains on a grassy plain. The dragon castle wasn't too far away.

Bone floated away from the lair as light exploded through it. He floated towards the castle when he felt a sharp pain. The gauntlets turned white and he fell to the ground. The white disappeared into the gauntlets and Bone's body shrunk back to its normal size. The pierced horn was still there, though.

"It can't be... I'm not really evil am I?" wondered Bone.

"Well evil or not I still have a job to do." said Bone. He glanced towards the castle far off in a grassy meadow. He slowly walked towards it.

Meanwhile,

Astrix roared, "How could you fail me yet again?!"

Rex gulped, "Master, he destroyed the machine!"

"I know that you idiot! Now our mission is delayed thanks to you." said Astrix.

The dragons grabbed Rex and carried him away.

"Put him in the dungeon," ordered Astrix, "Now I just need to think of a plan. I've got it..."

Astrix began to laugh, "Muahhaahhhaaa!!!! Be warned Bone..."

Chapter 38 Breaking and Entering

Bone landed a mile away from the castle. He examined what was ahead. Several dragons marched around the front gates, carrying spears. Blaze was no where in sight, they must have not seen him go in. Bone had to find another way in. He looked up to the top of the castle, but didn't see anyway in. All he saw was a banner of a dragon.

Then Bone saw it. Directly above the banner was the castle ramparts. If he could manage to swing himself from that banner and up onto the ramparts then he would be in.

Bone dove behind a boulder right as a guard looked at him, "Hey. I saw something over there."

"Strix, your an idiot you know that right?" asked a dragon.

The other dragon was silent. They both went back to their post.

Ahead were several boulders he could hide behind while he made his way up to the castle. He moved ahead 5 boulders and then hid.

"I saw it again." said the dragon.

"There is nobody there." said the other dragon.

Bone continued this hiding pattern until he was right in front of the castle. He quickly ran over to the side of the castle.

"Hey you!! Come back here!" cried a dragon.

The two dragons ran towards the side of the castle. Bone grabbed onto the side of the castle and began to climb up its rocky walls. He reached where the banner was. He jumped off the wall and snagged onto the banner. He swung himself up towards the ramparts. Then he saw 3 dragons watching him on the ramparts. How would he get in now?

Bone saw a window next to him, so he crashed into it with the banner. He jumped into a hallway where he saw one dragon patrolling through it. Bone hid behind a statue.

The dragon went into a different hallway. Bone ran as fast as he could to the end of the hallway and ran through a door and into a small room.

Bone looked around the room and saw a staircase leading higher up. He ran up it and entered another room. He stopped when he saw a dragon watching him. The dragon was a dark blue dragon and seemed like he was tough.

"Who dares enter this castle?" asked the dragon.

"Bone, son of Spyro. I have come to see the king." replied Bone.

"Lies. You wish to kill the king." said the dragon.

"No it's not what you think! You see, there's this dragon named Blaze who hates the king. And he is coming to this very castle right now to kill him! I've only come to stop him." explained Bone.

"Lies." said the dragon.

"No really!!" cried Bone.

"I don't believe a word coming from thou mouth." said the dragon. He raised a sword and charged at Bone.

Bone immediately ultra blasted him, knocking him out for a short while. He looked around the room, it was a dead end. He looked around the room some more and saw an air vent that he could crawl through. He blasted it and climbed up into it. He crawled through it and through another room. He looked through a small gap to see two dragons talking.

"Jeff, I heard that someone has broken into the castle." said one of the dragons.

Bone knew they were talking about him.

"They said that this mysterious person was black. But then a few minutes after they had broke in, another dragon who was red broke in. He's down in the west hall." said the dragon.

"Then let's go get him!" cried the other.

Just then, Bone's weight made the vent make a noise like somebody was crawling through it.

"Someone's in the vent!" cried one of them. They both walked towards the vent and stabbed their spears through it.

Bone dodged the spears as they were about to stab him. He began to crawl faster while the dragons continued to stab the vent. Bone dodged each stab and continued through the vent until he exited the room. He continued to crawl through the vent until he reached a hallway. A sign said west hallway, Blaze was in here.

Just then, Blaze ran past the vent and down the hallway. Bone continued to crawl through the vent until he reached a dead end. He looked through a small opening and saw that he was in the throne room. The dragon king sat on his throne, being guarded by two dragons.

Just then, the door smashed open and in stepped Blaze, clutching the staff. He charged at the guards and shot an earth missile through their chests. The dragons fell over dead. The dragon king gasped, "Get out!"

"You are the worst excuse for a king I have ever heard of!" exclaimed Blaze.

"Look Blaze, just because you didn't be crowned king of the dragon kingdom doesn't mean that you should take your anger out on me!" growled the king.

"That is exactly what I should be doing! And once I've killed you, I will be king of the dragon kingdom!!" cried Blaze. He pointed his staff and the king.

"You don't have to do this, Blaze." said the king.

"Oh but I will! Any last words?" asked Blaze.

The king did not reply.

Blaze charged the staff up, ready to shoot a fireball at the king. Just hen, Bone broke through the vent and landed in the throne room, "Stop!"

Blaze growled and turned to face Bone, "You will not stop me!"

"No wonder you didn't become king, you're evil!" exclaimed Bone.

"You will not interfere with my plans! I will kill that pathetic excuse for a king and that's final!" growled Blaze.

"Then I must stop you." said Bone.

"With what? I have the staff! You don't have anything." said Blaze.

Bone's gauntlets began to glow and energy surged around them, "I've improved on my attacks. You do not want to know how much power is in these. With out these, the staff is not as good as it would be with the gauntlets."

"That is impossible." said Blaze.

"You want to prove it?" asked Bone.

"Let's." said Blaze. He crashed through a window and landed on the roof of the castle.

Bone flew out after him. He landed in front of Blaze and got ready for battle.

Ooh, drama. Wonder what happens next?

Chapter 39 Blaze's Rampage

Blaze was the first to move. He shot three earth missiles and then a fireball at Bone.

Bone jumped out of the way and ultra blasted Blaze. He jumped to the side and took cover behind a vent.

Blaze was hit. He growled and ran towards Bone. He clutched the staff. It glowed yellow and he began to slash at Bone with it. Electricity formed around it as he slashed.

Bone ducked and jumped in order to dodge the attacks. He performed and Astro Strike, which did a lot of damage on Blaze. Blaze roared and shot a huge wind current at Bone, trying to blow him off of the roof.

Bone began to fly backwards from the wind. He struggled to stand still. He grabbed onto a pole and held it hard. The wind eventually stopped and Blaze growled, "Blasted thing!"

Bone took this time to form a Fire Twister. He twisted towards Blaze and began to burn him. Blaze roared in pain and blew the tornado away with wind.

Bone stopped and ultra blasted Blaze again, nearly knocking him off the roof.

"I suppose I have misjudged you. But you are still not going to win!!" roared Blaze. He shot a huge ice blast at Bone, freezing him.

Bone tried to break free, but couldn't move at all. He stared at Blaze, "I win." He walked towards Bone to break him into pieces.

Bone tried to break free, but still failed to do so. He waited for his death as Blaze came closer. Just then, he saw that his gauntlets were still sticking out of the ice. So were his paws. He flexed them and blasted Blaze away.

Suddenly, Blaze shot fire by accident. The fire melted the ice, freeing Bone. "What?! No!!"

Bone ultra blasted Blaze again. Blaze went flying towards the edge of the roof. He dropped the staff of the roof by accident. It flew to the ground and shattered into a million pieces.

"No!!" cried Bone and Blaze at the same time.

"No matter. My true power is much stronger than that staff!!" exclaimed Blaze. He charged at Bone and shot darkness at him.

Bone tried to jump out of the way, but he was hit. Suddenly, he began to feel it coming again: the darkness. The darkness shot out of the gauntlets and into Bone.

Bone turned back to his white dark self. He shot a mega blast at Blaze. Blaze was too shocked to think. He was hit and sent flying off the roof.

Blaze flew back up onto it and formed a huge ball of energy. It exploded towards Bone, but didn't do any damage.

"No!" cried Blaze.

Bone blasted him again. Blaze fell on the ground, fracturing his spine. He tried to limp away, but Bone didn't let him.

Bone raised his gauntlets and created a huge Final Fury. Blaze was hit several times from the different attacks. Blaze fell over again, this time badly hurt. He was bleeding real bad.

Bone formed a Power Vortex. Blaze roared, "No!!!!!!!" He was sucked into the vortex. It closed and Bone went back to normal. The power went back into the gauntlets. He flew down to where the staff was and picked up the pieces, trying to fix it.

Nothing happened. Suddenly, the gauntlets began to glow and the staff began to rumble. The staff suddenly fixed its self. Bone clutched the staff it was as good as new. He looked back at the castle and knew he would be blamed for this. He flew away from the sight.

Chapter 40 Returning to Terror Mountain

Bone flew north, not knowing where he was headed. He landed in a large field of flowers. He looked past them to see Terror Mountain. With this darkness, the gauntlets, and the staff, Bone would be able to defeat Convexity in a snap. He walked through the flowers and looked at his gauntlets. The turned golden and the staff turned silver. He continued to walk through the field.

Bone eventually made it to the end of the field and looked up at Terror Mountain. He saw Convexity's figure flying around it. Bone began to climb up the mountain and reached the cave that Convexity was in. He looked around and walked up to the door Convexity had told him to go to. He placed his two paws on the door and stabbed his staff into the door. The door glowed white. It opened, revealing a small chamber.

Bone looked inside and stopped when he saw Convexity's figure. He was standing next to a green portal, "Ah, Bone, you have come."

"Only to defeat you!" cried Bone. He charged at Convexity and ultra blasted him. Convexity blocked the attack and knocked Bone away.

"You will not win. I am darkness, I can not be defeated. Now prepare to become 'pure'!!" roared Convexity. He turned into a floating black spirit and floated towards Bone.

"No!" cried Bone. He ran away into the other room, but then the entrance collapsed. No where to go. He gazed at Convexity as he floated towards him.

Convexity roared and shot into Bone's chest. He fell to the ground, screaming in pain as Convexity began to take control over him. Bone's eyes turned white and he became Dark Bone again. He was not white though.

"Finally! A new dragon to corrupt!" cried Convexity.

"Get out of me! You cant do this!!" cried Bone.

Convexity made Bone punch himself in the face, "You will obey!"

Bone immediately crashed through the rocks and flew away, do to Convexity controlling him. He began to fly towards the Valley of Avalar.

Chapter 41 Dark Flight (Spark of Intelligence)

Bone flew above the ground, "Why are you doing this?!"

"Because, Bone. I can not survive without someone to live inside. That is why I chose you, someone who was all ready evil." said Convexity.

"What are you talking about, I'm not evil!" growled Bone.

"Well you see: I can not capture a heart of good, I can only capture a black heart like myself." said Convexity.

"No... I don't believe this." said Bone.

Convexity growled, "You are evil, Bone. Get used to it..."

Bone sighed and thought about all the things he had left behind: His parents, his home, all of his nice neighbors... Then he felt a flash of darkness in his mind.

I am evil. If I am to be evil, then I must do evil. But what should I do?

"That's it, Bone. Feel the darkness inside of you. I know the perfect plan. You must take your staff and gauntlets to a secure location where no one will find you and create a machine that will open a portal to darkness, sucking the world into it. You would destroy the world..." explained Convexity.

"I like it. That is what I will do." said Bone. He dove through the clouds and towards Avalar.

"Be warned of Comet. He is my enemy and he will be yours. He defeated me long ago and I will not regret it." said Convexity.

"Yes, Convexity." said Bone as he prepared to land.

Oh no.This is very bad.

Chapter 42 Avalar

Bone landed in Avalar only to see spears pointed at him. Several cheetahs surrounded him and tied him up against a pole.

One cheetah came up to him, "Why are you here?"

"No reason. I'm just a traveler passing through..." said Bone.

"Lies. I know you are evil, admit it!" growled the cheetah.

"Look, I'm just a traveler. I am not evil." lied Bone.

"Yes you are!!" growled the cheetah.

Bone began to snap, "Let me go!!!"

"Not with you being evil!" growled the cheetah.

Just then, Bone noticed a red dragon his age walking towards the camp. He thought about who this could be.

It's Comet...

Bone growled. The dragon asked, "Hey, what are you doing?"

"None of your business. Now tell us: ARE YOU EVIL AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THESE PARTS?!!!" snapped the cheetah at Bone.

"You shall never know!!" growled Bone.

Then Comet asked him, "Hey, who are you?"

Bone replied, "Enough talk!!" He broke the chains and shot darkness at the cheetahs. The cheetah stabbed him in the shoulder. Bone knocked the cheetah into a tree and took off into the air. He shot one last blast of darkness, causing the camp to catch fire.

Bone flew away from the sight.

You were almost discovered by Comet... You must have stealth. Now go to the Ancient Grove, that is where you must go and build the machine...

Chapter 43 Bone's Lair

Bone flew towards the Ancient Grove and landed at a huge purple lake. A huge sink hole was nearby. He walked into it and looked around. A huge stone throne was up against the wall and a green pool was in the center.

This is it. This is where Icy's first lair was, but he never did get to use it...

Bone looked around at the lair and placed his staff on the throne. He climbed through a hole in the wall and saw that it lead into several other chambers.

"How will I make this machine?" asked Bone.

You must find the swords of the Knights of the Round Table and forge them together to make a gigantic super weapon. Then you must add your staff and gauntlets to it. Then find the golden crown of King Arthur and place it with the swords. This will cause a reaction, creating a dark beam which will destroy the world. You may use the super weapon when ever you want.

Bone asked, "Where do I find these swords?"

Comet... he has unleashed the spirit of King Arthur and his knights. He is battling them. They will be throughout the world trying to destroy Comet. Just follow Comet wherever he goes and you will find the knights.

"Yes, master." Bone picked up his staff and flew out of the lair. He flew towards Warfang, where he knew he would find Comet.

Chapter 44 Tracking Down Comet

Bone flew above Avalar to see Comet and Sir Lancelot fighting. The battle must have started a few minutes ago, because it looked like it was going to be over. Bone landed behind a bush and looked towards the two.

Lancelot ran over towards a black horse and began to ride off down a river shouting, "We shall meet again!"

"I know we won't because my fights don't stop until I stop fighting!" Comet chased after him and jumped onto the horse. He began to slash Lancelot.

Bone flew off towards the two, flying high where they couldn't see him.

"Get off my horse!" growled Lancelot as he knocked Comet off.

Comet landed on the ground and got back up. He ran after Sir Lancelot.

The two disappeared into the Ruins of Warfang. Bone growled and flew over to the other side, into Warfang. He landed on a high up building and waited for them to come back out. Lancelot came out and rode off through Warfang.

Bone jumped down and pinned Lancelot, "Give me your sword!"

"Never, you beast!" growled Lancelot. He knocked Bone away and disappeared into the city.

Chapter 45 Gawain and Percival

Bone got up and turned around to see Comet about to enter the city. He flew up onto a building and waited for Comet to disappear into Warfang.
Bone flew above the sky and searched for Sir Lancelot, but to no prevail.

Bone landed on a building and looked around the Dragon City. He looked towards the plains and saw that a battle was going on. King Arthur and his knights were attacking the citizens of Warfang. Bone flew towards the battle and saw Comet entering a plaza. Below was a knight.

That's Sir Percival.

Percival shot a rush of wind at Comet, knocking him into a wall. Comet got back up and charged at Percival, ready to slash him. Percival knocked Comet away again and created a tornado. The tornado knocked over buildings. Everything went dusty, so Bone turned to look around.

Bone saw another knight, dressed in red armor, on the roof of a tower.

That's Sir Gawain, knight of the sun.

Bone glared at Gawain and flew at him. Gawain saw him coming, though and slashed his blades at him. Bone maneuvered around the tower and rose up behind Gawain. He growled and swiped at Gawain's blade.

Gawain stabbed Bone and shot fire at him. Bone hissed in pain and fell towards the ground in another plaza. Gawain laughed at Bone, but was soon knocked off the building by an unknown attack. Gawain fell into the plaza and landed next to Bone.

Bone roared and charged at Gawain, only to be knocked away. Gawain ran away and jumped across rooftops, disappearing into the city.

Bone growled, "Grahhhh!!" He flew up above the city and flew towards Comet. Suddenly, Lancelot rode over to Comet and kidnapped him. Lancelot rode away into the city.

Bone followed them.

Chapter 46 Off to the Temple

Bone watched Lancelot enter a building with the unconscious Comet. Bone flew up and landed on the roof of the building. He looked through a window on the building and saw Comet chained up on a stone table. Lancelot looked at him.

Comet awoke five minutes later and glared at Lancelot. He began to talk to him and Lancelot said something Bone couldn't make out. Lancelot drew his blade and slashed at Comet. Then a cheetah came into view and grabbed the blade.

The cheetah pushed Lancelot into the wall and shot an arrow at him. Lancelot dodged the arrow and ran towards the cheetah, only to be shot in the shoulder.

The cheetah untied Comet and Comet shot fronze at Lancelot. Lancelot blocked the attack and Comet and the cheetah exited the room. Lancelot chased them.

Moments later, the cheetah and Comet came out of the building and hid behind a wagon. Lancelot came out and looked right and left, then went in the opposite direction of Comet.

Precede down there with caution. Don't let Comet know who you are. You must go after Sir Lancelot. If he doesn't want to give his blade up, then you must slay Lancelot and take his sword by force.

"Yes, master." whispered Bone.

While Bone wasn't watching, Comet ran into the Ruins of Warfang. Lancelot ran towards him. The cheetah shot an arrow at the gates and closed them. Lancelot growled and charged at the cheetah. The cheetah jumped out of the way and disappeared into the city.

Lancelot growled again and then saw Bone, "You again?!"

Bone flew at Lancelot and shot darkness at him. Lancelot jumped out of the way, "What do you want?!"

"Your sword, give me your sword or I will take it by force." said Bone.

"Never, beast!!" growled Lancelot as he shot fire at Bone.

Bone jumped out of the way and shot more darkness, but Lancelot disappeared into a dark portal.

You have failed me.

"Sorry, master." said Bone. He flew towards the Ruins of Warfang and destroyed the gates. He flew through the ruins and landed outside over on the other side of the ruins.

Comet was running off towards a forest.

He's off for the forest.

Bone flew after Comet.
