Where is the Buzz Wing?

OMG Hot Strike single? That means that Spitfire is coming! I personally can't wait, I got the dark edition but Spitfire actually looks better with his bright blue flame versus his black lung smoke look.

Does it necessarily mean that? We have 3 spitfire variants but 5 hot streaks.

You're right that it doesn't necessarily mean that but it seems they are releasing things separately and there is a market (albeit smaller than general) for a Spitfire single release. Especially since Hot Streak is being released and it has the same market.

Also, turning it back to you, what does Spitfire not having two more variations matter? There's no Nitro Stealth Elf or Dark Nightfall (lol).

They are still part of Wave 4. They're just the beginning of it, you know how they have split waves.

I'll just be getting Astroblast and Sun Runner from that batch. STILL waiting on the Roller Brawl and Pop Fizz double packs.

The thrill of the hunt is starting to turn into frustration after hearing that other TFB games are so up-front about releases and dates. I also wasted money on extra packs to complete my collection. Despite good sales discounts, I have purchased a lot of my items at full price, and full price is climbing too far from the old $9.99. I'll finish my SC collection with Trig and Thrillipede, then I'm out. I'm done with this greedy franchise.

See, with one person - or even a few - having found them, it doesn't make me jump up and start placing calls anymore. I used to, but with the Skylanders brand you know it's a waste of time, because with this brand it's always very much YMMV.

Now if these things had a hard street date, sure I would be placing calls to have the stuff put on hold, or I would be "out hunting," but why hunt when it's the same old story, which is these hit the east and west coast first and maybe other states inbetween who knows when, and even then it's generally only TRU instead of new product hitting all stores.

It is frustrating being a supporter of Skylanders, when I know that on March 15th, I can walk into Best Buy or any other store, and find the Marvel play set for Infinity, as well as the two Zootopia figures, as well as Midway Arcade Level Pack, Stay Puft, And Aquaman for Dimensions?

Most of us have lives and can't just go on the hunt while others can, and Activision/TFB/VV don't take all customers to heart with their brand and making sure everyone who wants new product will get it.

Just a note, I highly doubt VV/TfB have any power in things like that, just deciding the figure's release date. I think that Activision has the power on this. It's not the developer that take care of these things, is the publisher.

On true, it's Activision that decides this. The retailers just follow Activision's dates (or not, as you can sometimes see see).

I'm pretty sure activision decides when it's out, it's why when you seen skylanders YTs saying "we got a package from activision"

i loved the idea of finding them all. searching and the thrill of the hunt, i don't have the time but my son and i do this. I do like dates knowing when, but it is still kinda fun to be suprised. But i see both sides. nice to plan, or nice to be suprised?

I prefer staple release dates. Many people doesn't like to be unsure of when they can buy the products. Staple release dates would help everyone.

I personally recommend you to not follow the news if you like to be surprised. Or not. You decide.

Me too. I actually hate unsure release dates. I don't have that much time and I have to be prepared for new characters to come out.

Since I have their vehicles, I will be getting Astroblast and Nightfall too (SUPERCHARGE THAT--OHHHHH!). Then it's a "see you guys later" until 6landers starts releasing figures.

Not sure if Tomb Buggy and Bone Bash Roller Brawl were released before (I think only her Legendary form was) since I'm not interested in revamps but all the other ones were.

They all kinda make sense, they offer more possibilities for customers to buy only what they want especially with Astroblast/Sun Runner and Spitfire/Hot Streak yet little to no new figures have been added.

And I'm still hoping for a Combo Pack of a new Skylander and his/her vehicle (when I only miss Thrillipede) even if it's clear they only created them for revamps and Skymiibos...
That was a dumb choice.

Technically, Soda Skimmer, Roller Brawl, and Tomb Buggy are all new. They were supposed to be in double packs in wave 3 but those don't come out until Feb 2 like Buuzer said.

I think it very odd that Activision apparently decided to have an ongoing every-year policy of NOT releasing Combo/Multi/Double/Triple packs.

This is a BIG reason why Series 2 Bash became so scarce. Bash was in the first wave for Giants, and not refreshed in any of the later waves as a single character pack. BUT, he WOULD have been refreshed in USA retail stores IF the Giants Triple pack containing Bash had, ya know, actually been shipped to US retailers.

I assume something similar happened with Scratch (who was supposed to be in a Triple Pack with Camo and Fryno?) during SwapForce.
I also assume this happened with the Triple Pack for High Five and Trail Blazer during TrapTeam.

I don't know why it makes sense to ship late-wave triple/combo packs to Australia and Europe every year, but not to USA retailers. But it seems this is now an established and expected practice for each new Skylanders release?

Keep telling people we most likely won't see anymore multipack configurations for SC in America. The way they release stuff for this game is pathetic.

It seems like I won't see Wave 4 at all. Still no word on when they're being released in Europe. I'm starting to think about finishing this game.

It's just those three missing now, excluding variants which typically have their own releases. Looks like we have our wave 5 confirmed.

Lol, yeah, that's exactly my feeling. How much we will have to wait? Arrrg it's frustrating. I still haven't complete all the sky stars only t have something to do with buz wing and thrillipede. He's my favourite of this game.

They're going to release the Dark Edition figures and vehicles in single pack?!
Had I known this, I could have saved $100 buying a DE SSC starter pack since they're already selling the Kaos Trophy in a single pack.
But you never know what they've got planned, because this would be the first time the DE items will be sold in single packs at retail price. I guess SC is really hurting if that's happening.

^ It seems they are more conscious of product availability this time - a plus. Not sure if it's a "negative" per se or not--except for us early adopters who went the more expensive route. That would leave a significant bad taste in the mouth. People have come to expect their product delivery a certain way...trying to keep it a guessing game while other franchises spell it out is frankly unacceptable.

Considering how many times the DE has been on sale, it might just be a case of them trying to get rid of the Dark variant stock.

I hope there's a sale on the dark edition again soon. I wanna get the dark starter for Wii u.
