I'm gonna be using this new vehicle station for HOURS. I still can't figure out what Shouts do though. Are they horn replacements or something?

Is this latest patch on all systems yet or PS4 only?

It's on PS4 and Wii U as far as I know. That means it's probably on Xbox One too.

Hasn't arrived on PS3 yet.

Just tried Barrel Blaster and Clown Cruiser; since they are guest vehicles, they can't get any new colors or anything, just the boost cards

Where's the robot that they mentioned in the update? I don't see it anywhere in the Academy.

It seems they've also patched out the ability to rebreak the breakable Legendary Treasures by speaking to Persephone, making getting gold a little more time consuming.

It's a 431.8 MB update on PS4 for Version 1.06.

Well, at least it has a DBZ reference, it's nice that they decided to start branching out on them.

Again,it's NICE, but the additions are Trinket-level of dumb and I'm sure they could've found a way to add them to both vehicles and skylanders like in TT villains. I want to stick an Empire of Ice on Gill Grunt's head, is that too much to ask for?

I still don't understand taunts... I noticed they show a little icon on the ide when you use them, so are they just new horns, but other people can hear them???

This update, for me, added a interesting content, though I feel that this thing was going to be available at the initial game, but the producers run out of time. That's why I think many updates add a good amount of content.

This is making me wished they would've start updating their older Skylanders games. (add in online mode, update the hats collection, bug fixes, improved gameplay, old Adventure adds bonus villains in trap team, and maybe a way to help megs reconstruct the Skylanders academy with what you want added to the academy.

Makes vehicle customisation much more interesting and in depth. Love the cards , you really can make vehicles unique now

And also gives me something else to spend those gear bits on. They were really starting to build up lol.

Once the land trophy comes out I'm restarting the game.
Can't wait to play through everything again from scratch with all the new additions . Plus whatever else they add between now and then.

i hope they keep going to patch 2.0 and surprise us with something great . Now that they added a completely new area of the academy , it looks like they're really serious about these patches.

Not sure I'm going to play with my vehicles to save for tens of thousands of gearbits though...it seems like a grind that's simply not worth it. Your ability to use your Y/Triangle attack gets take away, and some of these are VERY situational abilities.

I guess they can keep adding features/patches, but then that would imply Sky 7 isn't coming out. If this is what we get for 2 years of work, then they should already be cranking on developing for #7.

I thought about to give up SuperChargers, how thin the replay value. This patch made me replaying the game again and it is not bad but still small. I am curious what they add on the next patch.

And anyone know where this Robot C-MOR is?

I can only hope the new patch for the Wii U won't reset the entire game in which all four game slots will be empty.

You can reset the boost that replaces the secondary attack any time, and it only works in racing, so I'm mostly fine with it. I also find it odd they mention this "C-MOR" thing in the update but nobody has found it yet. Did they just forget it or something?

It's probably a small team of people who work on the patches, while the rest of the team work on Sky 7.

Also has anyone found a place to farm a lot of gearbits now? I want to try to get that Holiday set soon. I have no idea if it's an exclusive or not.

The additions aren't things they need the entire team for. Knowing the concept artist,that robot model must've existed for a long time, and everything else you just need a texture artist to change colors and whatnot. Other things are also resized existing models, simple new ones and possibly extra VA lines that never got used, so win-win.

But damn I still want those for Skylanders. I'll say it again, those can work just like Trinkets,a good chunk of the models ALREADY has special placement for them from TT.

Nah, I just checked. PS3 is still on version 1.4.0. That one has a different update path. You will be looking for update 1.5.0 for PS3.

Also, not sure if it's not obvious, but with the new alt Boost mechanic we can say goodbye to any sort of game balance in the racing mode. That or we'll have to start creating no-boost tiers.

I haven't ran into a lot that actually use the online. I think the point of the update was to get more people to play online.

I'll play racing even less if at any point someone could pull out a free magic item, ESPECIALLY the ones that reverse or penalize spinning people out.

EDIT: Went to my WiiU thinking it'd update everything, but NICE I HAVE TO RESTART FOR EVERY UPDATE THAT I MISSED. Slightly missing X360 just updating everything at once.

I had a different issue - all trinkes in mine disappeared,they're still in the shop,and for some reason the Firetruck decor was on the vehicle instead of Royal as I set it up. Kinda weird.

Can't find C-MOR either, and I've gone through the statues several times. Maybe random?

i check latest ver v1.06 The Hot Streak changed to one either ios or not from collection i check (to make sure avoid glitch like what happen to ios ver)

I just found the best glitch ever. I was walking on the bridge to Pandergast's area, and suddenly the camera shifted over to the Boom 5000 and out popped a large size mod kit! For free!!! I opened it up, got my free stuff, and another popped out! Then another! They won't stop! This makes up for the stuff I lost yesterday

Edit: Aww it stopped after 4. That was pretty weird though. Why would it just randomly give me those boxes?

Maybe it registered that you bought that much and had to do it all over once it noticed that your items didn't match?

That's a weird question . Why does any game update? It's an easy method to keep people talking about / playing the game, Which encourages more sales.

It makes even more sense for toys to life games coz it keeps people a little more interested while waiting for more toys to come out. It also encourages reviewers to re review the game which helps advertise it etc.

A lot of the stuff we've gotten isn't a big deal and wouldn't take many people to implement anyway , a lot of it was probably started ages ago and they're just finishing off the game they had in mind.


I wouldn't expect the updates to continue once all the characters are released though .

So far people have found C-MOR in several different places in the academy, such as the area with Eon and the bridge to the racing area. Sounds like he appears randomly in random locations, ugh...
