"No..." Jake said. He looked through his team. "None here that is water or fire.."

*Inside the pokemon centre*

Nurse Joy ran up to us. "Oh dear, what happened here?" She asked. "She was attacked by a pokemon in Viridian Forest." I replied in haste "She needs help right now!" "Nurse Joy nodded. She brag out a stretcher and took Erika. I sat down and began to slowly eat. I couldn't help but think about Erika. She's helped me alot to become a Gym Leader and she's been a really good friend. I couldn't help but shed a tear at the thought of loosing her.

I began to look though the photos I took with my PokeNav. Lots were about me and Erika training and some were me and my pokemon. Then I stumbled on the photo of the Ice trail. I took before Erika needed my help. I thought to myself, If anyone knows about what's going on, I have to follow the trail. I looked up at Megan. "Would you like to help me find out what's going on with the explosion? Your pokemon are really cool and I could use the help"

"then lets get going!" I said. "Remember the ice trail I showed you? I've got a feeling that we'll need to follow it." I ran to the door. I stopped and looked back "Erika, keep safe." Then I ran outside.

*Near the Ice trail*

"We're here." I replied. "Say, do you have any pokemon we can use to ride across the Ice Path Megan?"

Treecko twitched. He knew something was nearby. He looked around cautiously. "Let me see. Damn it, I don't use Ice Type pokmon. We'll never make it across." I said

"Well, it looks like our only option. Staraptor, I choose you!" Staraptor appeared. "Take me to the other side of this Ice Path please" I jumped on Staraptors back and becan to fly up "Coming with Ruby, Megan?"

"Argh, who are you?" I called down. Treecko growled.

"do you have any connection with whats going on?" I asked

I looked at Megan. I sighed. "Look, believe it or not but we have to go with him. If they have answers then we have to." Staraptor gently landed and I jumped off it's back. I looked at Nero. "But if you try anything funny, your going to pay!"

"Gulp, I'm not very good with fire types." I mumbled as I saw the Charazard. "What do you want with us and what have you got to do with the explosion?"

"Megan, you've been a great friend. If this is where we part ways then here." I gave Megan a card with a Green pokeball on it. It's also got numbers and my name. "If you need me, don't hesitate to ask." I began to walk away. "Thank you for everything!" I called out.

'Team Rocket? where have I herd that name before." I wondered. "Wait. how do you know this information and why are you telling me?"

'Hmm, still nothing to grab onto. Just that they've done it before.' I thought (BTW, I'n not talking when I'm thinking) "And let me guess. You want me to help you figure out what giving them the power?'

Treecko looked at the Charazard. He shivered then jumped in my bag.

"Soo, your Charazard can mega evolve, huh?" I grabbed a pokeball "Venusaur I choose you!" A Venusaur appeared but it was a different colour and it sparkled. "Meet my Venusaur. The champion of my Gym!" I said. Venusaur roared.

I guess we'll have to do without then...' Callum returns infernape and starts to head up to the department store 'they sell uniforms in the basement so we need to act natural when we go down'

I smirked. "Looks like I'm not the only one who knows about mega evolution." I pressed a button on the badge on my shirt and Shiny Venusaur evolved into Mega Shiny Venusaur. It reared loudly. "The one Pokemon everyone has trouble at in my Gym is this beast." I ran over and rubbed Venusaurs head.

"Ok." Jake said.

Tyla quietly watched Sozen and Ben, Hexarus at her side. "Mega Evolution... Fascinating, yes." She held a Dusk ball tightly in her hands. "Truly... yes."
With that, Tyla turned around, her cape whipping behiend her. Hexarus went after her straight away.

Callum and jake arrive at the department store and head down to the basement 'we need to be careful down here' Callum whispers to jake, Callum then looks at the shopkeeper and says 'listen here, I left my uniform here over night and I was wondering if I could get it back'

'No uniforms here I'm afraid and I doubt that you're even part of team magma in the first place so you'd better prove that you are. Go magcargo!' The team magma grunt sends out magcargo and Callum sends out infernape. The battle ends in one quick fire blast

'As you were saying...' Callum smirks and the keeper replies 'you know what, n-now that I think about it, t-two were left behind, sure, j-just take them and leave' Callum and jake leave and Callum exclaimes 'well that was much easier than expected'

"I thought we would be toast," Jake said.

I looked up at Nero. "What exactly do you want me to do?"

Tyla started watching the trainers once more on a different location. She and Hexarus were just looking with a locked gaze upon the Pokémon and their trainers. Eventually, Tyla sighed and turned around. "They are no clue to me whatsoever. They don't lead me to my destiny. Let's go Hexarus." She said to her Pokémon. Hexarus lowered her body so Tyla could sit down. they then procceeded to rush up into the darkness once more-unless somebody had the possibility of tracking them.

Treecko crawled out of my bag and began twitching again. This time it was familiar. He jumped off my shoulder and ran off into the distance. He was onto something. "Treecko come back, where are you going?"I called out. Treecko still ran. "Argh, Venusaur return." Venusaur returned. I ran after Treecko "WAIT FOR MEE!

Tyla stopped upon reaching a little more open place. She darted her eyes around the place, then set down a unlighted torch. She called out her Typholsion again. "Flamethrower." She then gently told her Pokémon. Typhlosion let out a strong but well aimed flamethrower and seconds later the torch was burning brightly. Hexarus danced around it in joy. Typhlosion sat down and stared at Tyla.

A small chuckle escaped Tyla's mouth as she handed her fire Pokémon a cookie and then stroked it. "You big boy." She said as severall other Pokémon came out of their Pokéball to enjoy the moment. Dragalge, Sneazel, Meowstick and Houndoom. Houndoom whore a black helmet on his head with it's horns sticking out. On the center, between Houndoom's eyes, was a Houndoomite. It walked over to Tyla and gave her a lick, then moved over to Hexarus to dance along.

Meowstick stared at the pathway the came from, awaiting something.

I chased my Treecko and he wasn't giving up. He's pretty fast! "huph... huph... huph, Treecko... stop, please." Treecko, turned his head and stopped. I caught him and held him up. Ï looked at him sternly. "What... are.... you... doing..."I asked. Treecko looked at me unimpressed and pointed. I looked at the direction of the point and saw a light. Treecko climbed onto my shoulder and I walked to the light.

Meowstick noticed sounds coming from the pathway. She readyed herself in case of unwanted visitors. Tyla noticed it and stood up, facing the same way as her Meowstick, making her eyes gleam in the darkness in a creepy manner.

I approached the light and saw some Pokemon around a fire and a familiar looking trainer.

Meowstick got onto a battle pose. "Stick Meow!" Meowstick said, attempting to warn the aproaching trainer to take distance. Tyla's other Pokémon noticed it too, and gathered near their trainer and Meowstick. Houndoom got in front of Meowstick. "Doom houn~Houndoom!" Houndoom growled, it's houndommite gleaming in the dark.

"You..." Tyla quietly said. "What do you want?"
Typhlosion stood beside Tyla, it's flames bursting out.
