(To be honest, I think everyone is controlling shadows, I myself have plans for them.)

Darakon looked at Shade and nodded, "Hi..."

Rising from her aggressive stance, Velia lifted her chin and put on a neutral expression in the face of this newcomer, though from the moment she had a clear look at him she had started to study his features.

"Is that so? And I take you're alone, then?"

Darakon looked at Shade, "Light element... hmm, that could cause a problem" he thought, but on the outside he said, "I saw you with the Light Element, that could be useful." and smiled.

Finally being able to escape... Again.... Kade bolted away, only to stumble upon a group of dragons. He froze. He thought they could have been corrupted, as they seem to be able to hide their corruption well.

((OK, Kade has found the group now. I got sick of waiting for FuryBeam...))

(My group? With Poleire and such?)

Darakon looked at Kade, "Oh, hello. How many shadows are there?"

((Yeah. You guys seem to be the only ones on so...))

"Umm..." He thought quickly, "four or five I think..." He wasn't sure he could trust these dragons, but he had no choice right now. Kade quickly turned around fearfully.
"They're coming!" He whimpered.

Poleire may not have had time to introduce himself and friends to Kade, but he was ready to fight the shadows.

Seeing movement within the darkness, Kade shot a fireball without warning. He honestly hadn't meant to, but he was terrified at the moment and just let it slip.

Flasheris shot an orb of light and electricity into the air, brightning up the clearing.

Darakon mumbled something unintelligible then said, "Who taught you, you use it well?"

(I can only guess we are all in the clearing.)

Navy observed the newcomers; his mind making details left and right about each of them. Shade is obviously shy around others, but it also rather powerful. I am not sure about Darakon, but something tells me that I should not trust him. As for those other creatures ... (he's think about Vella at the last part.)

(Oh, well the idea was that mine and Jacksons OCs were just hanging around somewhere that I guess was nearby where you guys are, but I guess this works too )

Blinking when the terrain was suddenly illuminated, Velia widened her eyes at the collection of Dragons not even twenty meters away from thick brush she and her sister had recently landed at. She had to frown at that, wishing she had been more quick to survey the area for potential unwanted company, but then decided that it was ridiculously unlikely that they were all corrupted anyhow, as that would imply they knew they were coming, so she could atleast take comfort in that.

"Or... not. It appears this is a rather popular place." She deadpanned, twitching an ear.

Nonetheless, Velia gave them all a leveled look as she studied them closer, not wanting to betray her shock at their sudden appearance, Avia, however, gave an eager smile after shaking off her own surprise, flicking her thick tail.

"Huh, small world! I was hoping we'd others again at some point, but certainly not this soon, and definitely not this many... Isn't this great Velia?" The white and gold Dryphon remarked, her welcoming attitude a total contrast to Velias seemingly everlasting cold stare.

The black Dryphon in question just looked away, seeming completely indifferent. "I suppose..."

"Did that do it?" Kade asked to nobody in particular. He stared where the shadows once were, his eyes turning into a glare when he realised how weak he must have looked.
"Stupid dark energy!" He hissed.

Trydan was almost always moving. He was almost always watching. So when he saw a clearing lite up at night he knew something was going. Carefully cautiously and in a shy manner he descended and hid too watch the dragons he could see in the clearing.
(YAY! I'm finally in! Sorry i had no idea this was happening and we had started.)

(You may want to stay on as often as possible, things move quickly here.)

Poleire looked at all of the dragons that had joined him; usually it meant something was going to happen.

(Np, welcome Nova )

As Avia slowly moved in and tried to interact with these new Dragons, keeping a respectful distance but advancing nonethless, Velia had taken to sitting at a far corner of the clearing, not at all one for big gatherings.

She still kept an eye on her sister, however, just in case one of these unfammiliars went and said or did something to her that she wouldn't tolerate, though when she heard the faint sound of leaves being brushed against something she turned her attention to the outer area of the cove where Trydan had hid, not particularly believing it was anything more than a woodland animal, but she still stared intently just in case.

Kade began walking away nervously. He still had no proof these dragons weren't corrupted, even if they saved him.

Darakon felt uneasy, this many people around would mean that his plan wouldn't be able to work. He had to try something else now. He clenched the ground and poured Chaos energy into it. It went deep underground so as not to be visible spreading out from him, and came to the surface underneath a suitable looking dragon, Shade. He was dark-scaled and as such, could be believed to be corrupted if he played hi cards right. The ground just around Shade became filled with Chaos energy, but in just a position that Shade himself wouldn't notice at all. It then spread from Shade, inflicting the ground around it with Chaos energy. The ground would burn and possibly corrupt one or two, even though he knew that idea was short-lived.

Soon the whole clearing except under Shade was full of it, and then he turned on the power. The Chaos element created thick purple and black tendrils that sought to grab each of the dragons, even him, the only difference was that he wasn't hurt by them. The only dragon they didn't touch was Shade. Instead an invisible barrier of the Fear element rose around Shade, which would block his elements. Slowly, the barrier became visible, and with a thrust of power, white and shining, it was Fear pretending to be light, with an evil grinning fear dragon (pretending to be fire) glowing in front, spinning round and round the orb). Some of the tendrils latched on to Darakon and he was dragged to the ground screaming, his plan was going perfectly, he filled his body with fake burn marks around where the tendrils were grabbing, the other dragons would have real burn marks there. And he set his tendrils to work on grabbing as many dragons as possible, and the Shadows converged.

"What the..." Kade turned around just as some dark energy wrapped around his back ankle, "no!" He growled, shooting fire at the tendril.

Poleire jerked seeing this, "Too battle!" He backflipped and froze some tendrils with his ice element and burned others away with fire.

Navy used his shadow element to avoid contact with the tendrils and his water element to blast tendrils from others.

Flasheris used her elements to destroy the tendrils in flashes of light and electricity. And Valley used her earth and wind element to keep the shadows at bay.

Darakon screamed, "Help, they've got me!" while trying to break them open with the fear element, "If only I had light, grrrr!" he managed to break one tendril but they kept on coming, most didn't latch onto him though, as despite his pleas for help, he was controlling them.

Velia had been getting a particularly bad feeling all of a sudden, and her fears were realized when seemingly out of nowhere Shadow tendrils shot out from the ground, her reflexes allowing her to immediately leap up and just barely saving her from being completely enveloped, shooting a bolt of electricity at one that caught her tail.

With that done, she dodged past others and tried to make her way to her sister, zapping any tendrils that got too close.

"Avia!!"


The white and gold Dryphon started in fright at the sudden attack, opening her wings to take flight, and when the shadow tendrils grasped onto them her bottom feathers sparked and went aflame, burning a brilliant blue and freeing her. Narrowing her eyes she turned and charged a ball of plasma in her mouth, which exploded upon contact with another tendril and made a large shockwave that obliterated others around it.

She saw Darakon struggling and let loose another plasma blast close enough to get rid of the shadows, but not so much that it would seriously hurt him on impact, noting with relief that Velia was swooping above her and covering her with her own electricity. In the nature of her element, Velia struck powerful bolts of lignhtning, and was far out of range in an instant, her speed making her hardly a dark blur in the night sky.

Darakon was saved from his ow attack by the plasma blast and frowned, "She's a threat..." he created a particularly large tentacle that appeared in front of Avia, accomponied by others to, and they wrapped around her, and covered her mouth, other tendrils reached for Velia as well.

Kade decided he would help the others, seeing them being attacked instead of doing the attacking.
He flew over some tendrils and charged a poison attack, aiming for the tentacles that surrounded Avia.

He took a step back to watch events plan out, before long a predatory gaze fell on him eyeing each and every dragon with curiosity and potential threat. It was clear to one of them this was a mere game whilst another was ready to tick the second anyone tried anything to what he assumed was a family relative, he had to admit something about that dragoness reminded him of something.

Before he knew it all hell had broken loose, he made no time wasted in rushing to the dragoness named Avia's side to give a her a advantage since masses of shadows seemed to be more in number on her side then the others, several tried stopping him but his charge was hard and what resistance these tendrils had were slowly snapping off as they reached their limits.

Seeing the huge tentacle advancing at her, Avias first instinct was to charge another blast, but her eyes widened in shock and fear when her attack was cut off by sudden shadows covering her face, thrashing her wings and letting out a muffled screech when she was dragged down.

"NO!" Velia roared when she glimpsed what was happening between the sudden attack on herself. Throwing all caution to the wind, she formed an electrical pulse around herself that struck the shadows right up at her, and wasted no time in tucking her winds and diving, only shooting lightning at the tendrils that were in immediate range of her and ignoring those that she outpaced.

When she finally got down there she didn't hesitate to send a blast of electricity at the largest tendril, eyes narrowed in fury.

Despite his efforts the situation on his side was becoming dire, his little self imposed quest on aiding these dragonesses was going to literally fail. He could see the fury in the others eyes at trying to stop these shadows from doing whatever ill fate was awaiting her....the feeling of futile and fear at the prospect of something you cherished being taken, it was reminding him of how he failed them...

Something died in him then and there, like his soul and element was slowly turning sour. Anger was brewing forth, the elements were giving him a stranger makeover as his form transformed to what could only be described as armor over his body making him look like he was turned into a knight, He had gone berserk, the tendrils stopping him let go from snapping and being stretched as he charged for the biggest tendril he saw.

It didn't matter if he got hit by a blast in a crossfire or if a tendril goddamn impaled him, for reasons he couldn't explain he was not not going to let it happen again to anyone.

"Let them GO NOW!"....It didn't even sound like a noise any sane or living creature could make, it sounded like a demon screeching.

Kade acted quickly, using his fire to push away the tendrils around Avia. He then began to shoot small fireballs at the remaining tentacles, hoping they would disappear.

Darakon cursed, the threats were escaping. So he cast his spirit from his body and his body collapsed. The spirit was invisible though, until he made it burn with a great unnatural shadowfire. It wasn't recognisable as him, for it was the corruption in him fully unleashed, it was a giant with burning black eyes and red flames over its transparent body, it covered Darakon's body in tendrils to make it look like he' been overwhelmed.

Then his spirit flew over to Shade and blasted him with the Chaos element, it also pulled out thousands of tendrils from the ground which sought to grab him, but he also sent them to Velia, Avia and that other dragon who was trying to save them. He made them particularly sharp and they jabbed and sliced at the three dragons, as well as trying to grab them. Then Darakon's spirit created a great ball of Chaos and dropped it onto the place where Shade was standing.

Poleire looked at his friends, "Elemental rescue combo." Poleire unleashed a massive stream of fire and ice in the direction of Shade to free him.

Flasheris followed with a stream of light and electricity.

Valley used her eartth element to get the tendrils out of the way, and Navy shifted into his shadow form and made his way to recover Shade.

Fighting panic when she saw the plethora of deadly tendrils coming towards them, Velia landed beside her now freed sister and crouched down.

"How many shots do you still have in you?"

"Probably three." Avia replied, her fur on end.

"Good..." The black Dryphon breathed, closing her eyes in preparation. "You know what to do."

Nodding, Avia concentrated and charged more plasma, though this one was going to be bigger and more powerful than her last ones, so it would take time to create.

In the meantime, Velia opened her eyes and spread a cloak of dark energy that would momentarily hold most of the tendrils at bay, gritting her teeth when a handful broke through and sliced into her. Holding on, she then started to charge a massive blast of electricity herself, the thought that not getting this right would lead to the corruption or death of her sister the only thing that motivated her to keep her will strong through the pain of the attack aswell as keeping a mental hold on the semi-shield above them, bright blue sparks dancing around her in a frenzy.

Finally, Avia was ready, and so was she. The black Dryphon flicked her tailtip against Avias ear, and at once she understood and let loose a devastating plasma beam, followed by Velias own lightning blast, the two colliding upon hitting the storm of tendrils so that even more bolts spread wildly when the shockwave burst forth, obliterating every tendril in an extremely wide radius and even deeply marring the ground, the light that followed so blinding both Dryphons had to immediately shut their eyes, their coats swept back by the intense blast of wind that came aswell.

Feeling a large build up of energy, Kade shielded himself in a fire sphere as the blast obliterated the tendrils in the area. The power was stronger than he thought, causing him to increase his own power to maintain his shield. After the wind had passed, he let his energy disappear and he looked around the clearing in shock.
"How did..." He was at a loss for words. His own energy was strong, but that was unbelievably powerful.
"How did you do that!" He regained his composure and awaited their answer.

When the dust cleared, both Dryphons were seen panting heavily and struggling to stay on their feet, that one move having took much of their energy.

The two surveyed the damages, minor sparks of electricity still came and went in the crater surrounding them, and the ground was littered with small blue embers, and when their eyes settled on oneanother, they exchanged a weary smile.

Finally finding her voice, Avia turned toward Kade. "Long story short... My sister and I are quite a team, I for one, greatly doubt I could do all that on my own..." She said, grinning.

Navy stopped short when he saw the dryphon's attack, they were powerful allies, strange, but powerful.

The Tendrils couldn't pierce this armor, it was designed to be be akin to thousands of shields but the blast on the other hand not so much, It sent him flying into the other direction where mid flight he pondered something, a thought so sinister it grew like a virus into a action.

Slowly getting up from where he impacted still slightly shakey he turned full attention to what remained on the tendrils. His armor had vanished either the effect turned off by him or from the damage sustained but he opened his arms as if he was giving no resistance.

"Go ahead tendrils, take me instead....let me see the strength of your pathetic power in your own realm, I'm ready"

Both pairs of eyes grew alarmed at this, and Velias gaze in particular sent from unreadable to suddenly puzzled, and she looked down at the ground. "That doesn't make sense..."

"What?" Avia asked, blinking.

"Nothing." Velia waved it off, though her eyes were still vaguely contemplative, her sister gave her a questioning look, but when it was clear she wouldn't get an immediate answer she dropped it. "I-It's minor though, surely there's some way to stop it?" Avia asked vainly, feeling her heart sink.

Trydan watched in wonder at the power of the two dryphons. He could tell that that had taken so much energy that any two normal dragons that had tried it would have been laying on the ground with burns so severe that if they didn't get to a healer fast they would die. But he could tell that the dryphons wouldn't be able too pull that off again and he could sense something. Something dark. Something everyone was unable to see.

As Avia went to help Shade, Velia continued to think. How could this be happening? While she wasn't exactly keeping watch on the Dragon, quite the opposite really, she did catch glimpses, and everytime she did it seemed that the corruptive energy never attacked him, until the end of the fight that is when he intervened. But if her first guess was the case, why would he actually be at risk of getting corrupted? The more she thought about it, the more another, just as frightening possibility started to surface...

Had she not been so deep in thought she might've also noticed what Dez was doing, but between her weariness and deep thoughts she wasn't particularly focused on outside observation.

He needed to make himself look appetizing to the darkness, as if he was stronger then everyone here combined but the cold hard fact was from what he just witnessed he was leagues below in power.

There was only one choice and that was briefly using his element to show the darkness his true colors, but what would happen once they got him? Truth be told before today he was on his way to achieving his goals and making up plans to rock this world upside down but after witnessing these shadows he saw power, a way to actually rock the world and he was extremely tempted to embrace it.

To anyone it would just look like he was awaiting a attack but to those who can sense emotions like the tendrils or a seer dragon it was a display of negative emotions physically emerging from the body and potentially wanting to be snatched.

Darakon awoke, when that blast had sent out, not only had it destroyed the tendrils covering his body, it had blown his spirit deep into the forest where it became invisible once more. He was incredibly lucky that he'd covered his body with tendrils as they took the bulk of the blast around him, meaning he wasn't instantly vaporised, however, he felt like his spirit had been put to a blowtorch, he ached inside, and it hurt, a lot. He slowly went to the group, swaying like a drunkard and seeing things that weren't there, his ploy hadn't gone as well as expected.

He got to where the group was standing and groaned, "I don't know what was worse, being almost suffocated to death by a hundred tendrils trying to pull me into the ground, or the explosion that killed those tendrils and also, since I was unprotected, feel like my soul is burning."

Avia kept her eyes downcast as she helped him stand, her voice somber. "I wish there was, maybe... Amputating? But that raise new problems if it worked at all... I'm sorry."

Meanwhile, Velia stared at Darakon as he came back, and for all the intensity in her eyes, her expression as a whole was unreadable, her claws subconsciously unlatching and sinking into the sand when he passed her.
