"Yeah right," Fryden said to himself, preparing for the fight.

Shimmer sat down. She wanted Fryden to win. That little wingless nerd seemed useless and weak.

OOC: soooooo magic class....

Cavern examined Fryden throughly, he obviously a fire dragon, so Cavern felt he should keep his distance. His first attack would see if the fire dragon was ready, and he shot out an earth bullet.

Fryden flew up over the earth bullet while simultaneously breathing fire at Cavern.

(Yeah, I have no idea what's happening in magic class, Chimera's just sitting around.)

Cavern instinctively brought up a stone wall, and when the flames died down, Cavern head-butted the wall, sending rock fragments flying at Fryden.

Fryden, slightly (and I mean slightly) impressed with Cavern, used a power that was sure to surprise Mr. Brave. If you remember, Fryden is a fire and earth dragon, so Fryden blocked the earth fragments with a wall of stone.

Cavern raised an eye ridge, "So i'm at a disadvantage, facing a dual-element dragon." Cavern paced around, posed for the next attack.

OOC: Its not as INSANE as a mix of earth and air, or water and fire, or light and dark. complete opposites that can work together in harmony. lol i guess you can say that they are ELEMENTS OF HARMONY

N nodded as he entered the arena stands

Isis and Kihei watched from behind the stands "Why are we back here again?" Kihei asked

"Last time we saw Fryden fight, you got hit with a rock" Isis said

"Oooohhhh yeah, that day sucked" Kihei said

"Today, we will practice elemental shields," Diamond explained. "They are based on your element, or your strongest element if you have more than one." She clapped her wings three times, and gestured with her claws, and a shield appearing to be made out of pure diamond appeared in front of her. "This spell is unique because you do not need to speak, so it is useful if you are under a silencing spell."

Chimera nodded, "I see." She said in an understanding way, though she had already learned that. Copying Diamond, she created a shield out of shadow energy.

Fryden flew above Cavern and breathed fire directly down upon him while summoning a ten by ten array of stone spikes out of the ground directly below him.

While Cavern avoided the fire blast, he had rolled into one of the spikes. Growling, he thought quickly and decided to shift the spikes; manipulating them to try and grab his opponent.

Fryden counter-manipulated the spikes, leaving the two dragons at a standstill. Meanwhile, Fryden also summoned three tornadoes of fire that quickly made their way to Cavern.

"That's why we hide behind the stands" Isis said

N was scared "I can't watch this anymore, someone's going to get hurt" He said

Cavern dodged the fire tornadoes while continueing to will the spikes in his favor. He was struggling to figure out how to get the upper paw on his opponent.

The fire tornadoes came together beneath Cavern and the sides rose higher until Cavern was right in the eye of the storm. Taking advantage of the inability to see through the flames, Fryden sneaked around to the back of the tornadoes and stopped controlling the spikes. He was now out of their way. Fryden summoned a spiky coating over his wings, that still allowed him to fly and charged into the tornado, slicing his wings at Cavern.

(Uhh, Fryno, you probably didn't notice, but Cavern already delt with the tornadoes. )

Jagged Tooth was struggling to make his shield.

"Stop!" N yelled as he created a huge wall of rock between the two dragons before running out of the arena crying

Isis and Kihei just froze "Woah..." They both said

Cavern looked in the direction of N, wondering why he cut them off, and to Iron and back to Fryden.

"What is the meaning of this, N'djamena?" Iron asked sternly.

Fryden immediately stopped his momentum and started hovering. "Who stopped my match?"

N didn't hear Iron as he ran back to the Iron dorm, he went into his bed and curled up with his plushie penguin, crying in his bed

Isis came out from behind the stands "Iron, N seemed distraught, I think you should go talk to him sir" She said

Cavern found himself speaking up, "If you don't mind, I would like permission to go to talk to N instead."

"Sure." Iron dipped his head. "I trust you to do a better job than I did."

Isis went over and hugged Iron "Its ok sir, you do enough to help us, I might not be a fan of Fighting, but you're a great teacher" She said

Cavern nodded his head politely, and walked off towards the room of N, "Hello? If you don't mind, i'd like to come in and talk to you."

"Its open" N said without moving

"Alright then," Cavern walked inside and looked around, so what is bothering you?" He asked politely.

Fryden looked around. "Well, if Mr. Brave left, than I guess I win by forfeit." Fryden chuckled as he flew to the stands and sat down.

Iron shook his head. "Technically, no. N'djamena stopped the battle, so it was a draw."

Shimmer sighed. How much was left of this class?

Kra-Ra scanned the room with a slight look of disbelief. In his country, magic like this was childs play. He could cast a multi-elemental shield in one clap of his wings. To look normal to his classmates, however, he pretended to struggle, failing 4 times before casting a weak shield of stones and pebbles. He glanced through the cracks of his shield, observing the rest of the class.

Chimera looked in the direction of Kra-ra, he seemed interesting to her, as if he was hiding something. However, the dark dragoness kept her focus on keeping her shield perfect.

Kra-Ra felt the dragoness looking his way and in an instant his concentration to make a crappy shield buckled, the dome of rock molding together to form a perfectly round boulder, him encased inside. With small gusts of wind, two eye-holes bored through the stone, so Kra-Ra could stare back.

Chimera raised an eye ridge; this dragon might have been large, but he was skilled in comparison to the others. She wondered if Diamond was looking.

"I just can't take it anymore, you guys are all so great, but I'm nothing, every time I try to do anything, I'm messed with or I doubt myself" N said

Isis looked at Fryden "Can you get off of your high horse for once? A friend is going through emotional problems and you're concerned about who won" She said

Fryden looked at Isis. "I don't have, or need, friends. I don't care who's going through what."

Shadow easily formed the fire shield around himself. He had no trouble, and his energy was fairly strong. He found out this trick when he ran from home as he needed some defence if attacked. Since this was a simple spell, it came naturally to him (Well he did study another dragon doing it without them noticing). Kumara was having a little difficulty though.
She had her dark energy surrounding her, faint zaps of purple electricity could be heard as she concentrated. Shadow had shown her this move one night after classes had finished, but she still couldn't get it perfect.
"Release the energy steadily," Shadow told her. Kumara nodded and tried to calm her energy. So far, it seemed to be working.

"Why do you have to be so mean? I'm sorry about what happened to you last night, but I just want to be your friend, because I like you" Isis said

Cavern nodded understandingly, "So your troubles are that you doubt yourself, that can be fixed. All we need to do is help your confidence, and then you'll never worry about the mistakes you make."

"Mean, oh, I didn't know. I thought I was a delight!" said Fryden sarcastically. "And like me? Everyone likes me, I'm Fryden! Star student, epic fighter, just look at this awesome leather jacket! And I'm going to say it again, I don't have friends."

"Yeah, but I've tried everything, I'll never be as amazing as you and the others" N said

"You just don't understand" Isis said as she flew onto the roof

Fryden chuckled. "Everyone's just leaving class today."

"You know what? Your attitude is part of the problem. You need to stop thinking that you won't be any good, and start thinking that you can do good." Cavern said sternly, "In fact, after classes, I want you to meet me somewhere we can train you, i'm going to help you learn how to fight."

"That's just it, I'm not a fighter, and I don't want to be" N said

Kihei walked over to Fryden "Fryden, I think she has feelings for you, I've known her for her entire life, and I've never seen her like when she's around you" He said

Fryden chuckled. "Feelings?" He looked down. "No one has feelings for me." He took a deep breath. "Well if everyone else is leaving I'll see you guys later," said the dragon, almost crying. He flew out of the arena and back to his room. He grabbed something from behind his bed. A picture of another red dragon. He smiled, still about to cry. "I will make you proud mom. I will."

"You don't want to be a fighter?" Cavern echoed curiously, "Have you told any of the teachers this? Because, unless you can get out of fighting class, there is much that I could do to help you not fight."
