Russia walked over to Foxtail, as he signaled him and Zane to follow him on their small exploration. He wanted to know more about this place, so he was a little anxious to explore around a bit.

Wolfy approached Foxtail.
"I'm really sorry about all this." He says with a tinge of Axil on his tone. Eyes widening, he clears his throat and speaks clearly, almost normal.
"I know you're tyring to help. Thank you." Wolfy rests a fluffy clawed hand on Foxtail's shoulder and smiles warmly.
"Nightfall. We need shelter." He looks up at the sunset.

"If we go back to the forest, we can use branches to make a small shelter" Ki said as he handed everyone a carrot

Foxtail gave a forgiving grin to Wolfy and nodded slightly, and accepted a carrot from his fellow fox, Kigali. "Right" he said, agreeing with the suggestion of a shelter. "And a fire wouldn't be such a bad idea either. I mean, who knows what kind of bloodthirsty creatures lurk in the shadows of this place?" Of course, a fire need lumber. The young fox eyed a mighty evergreen. It'd be a good place to start, but with his bio-powers gone, how could he hope to fell it? This wasn't Minecraftia, it's not like he could just punch it down! C'mon, Foxtail, think he mentally spoke to himself, racking his mind for a solution. You've been rocking the wilds way before you got here. Maybe I could make some kinda tool... His gaze drifted to a nearby sapling, which he stripped away the developing branches of for a handful of twigs. Then he found a sharp piece of flint lying on the ground, and used these two components to fabricate a simple axe. Nice. Now to see how it works... Taking his new hatchet, he took a few mighty swings at the evergreen and eventually managed to send it crashing to the ground. None too shabby! Of course, such a cobbled-together tool probably wouldn't last very long, so he should be wary. And of course, being the nature-loving guy he was, he remembered to plant a pine cone in the soil to replace the fallen tree, and took one for himself to plant later. "'Kay, so we got some wood for a campfire," he said, passing out logs to the others. "Now, if we could find something to make it light easier..."

[Hint: it's greener on the other side.]

Chico hungrily wolfed down the carrot. He mumbled his thanks.

Ki looked around and saw some grass, he thought it would work, so he grabbed some and threw it on the fire

"Light easier...." Skyward thought. She snapped her fingers. "I think there was this guy, cycloptic, yellow, with a lightning tail, and his tail can just go on and off like a firefly."

Chico's stomach was growling loudly. He needed food. He glanced at Skyward. "When did you last see him?" Chico asked, flicking his ears. This character sounded like he could be very useful...

"I saw him around here somewhere. If I know him, he was chatting with that robot." Skyward flipped her tail. "Don't know where he is now, probably thought he could strike it off on his own. He can easily stand and fight, so he probably thought that he doesn't need us to survive."

Zane had been following others quietly for a while. He wasn't sure about anything. There were so many questions he wasn't able to answer...
"This does not compute", the blue eyed teen mumbled himself and looked at Foxtail who still was the only one Zane could trust.
"Can I help you somehow?", Zane asked staring at everyone close to him.

ooc: And because I DO NOT WANT to roleplay as a tiny lego character, you can just imagine Zane as a normal human. He is pretty tall, has a pale skin and light blue eyes... yes I am very serious

"Actually, I'm good" Ki said

"I hope we can find him" Virtu said

Wolfy took a quick glance at a nearby tree, and grinned deviously.
"Leave shelter to me." A slight tinge of Axil's personality. Oh well, it'll pass. The wolf ran towards the tree at high speed, jumping in the air inches away from its trunk. He sprang out a kick and took out a lot of bark with his long and sharp claws. With the little time he had remaining, Wolfy grabbed a few leaves and dropped on the ground, crouched. He turned and smiled, bringing back the scraps.
"Got a few branches and bark, leaves. I can gather some stone if you'd like!" He offered eagerly. Wow! Wilderness survival! I've always wanted to do this!

"I'll come with you," Chico offered. Maybe they would find some food along the way.

Show off, Foxtail snarked mentally, rolling his eyes at Wolfy. As good as shelters would be, a bigger worry was food. Berries and carrots were alright, but they would only go so far. What they really needed was meat. Gotta get that protein somehow! Maybe there were some pigs or something around here...

Foxtail's ears perked up at Skyward's description of this other character. He sounded promising, like he would be a great credit to their team. The young fox was excited to go exploring, but dusk was already upon them, and it would be night soon. Might as well get the fire started. He drew out his treasured revolver- which he noted, with mild annoyance, had only one magazine of bullets left -and struck the muzzle against the flint of his hatchet. Sparks flew, and grew into a steady campfire when they came to rest upon the dry grass topping the pile of logs. Satisfied with his work, he looked back to notice Zane, looking a bit neglected, and went to him for a conversation. "Hey, don't worry about it, I'm sure most of these guys are cool. We'll find our way out of this!" he said with a promising smile.

We'll get out of this... or die trying.

I looked at the fire "Cool"

"I'll look around for any wildlife" Virtu said as she took a nice branch and stuck it in the fire for a moment, making a torch, then she walked off, looking for food

Chico changed his mind. "Do you mind if I come? I can help get food." Chico said to Virtu. Wolfy seemed to taking his sweet time...

Virtu stopped "Of course you can buddy" She said

"Do you suppose this place is like Minecraft, with those three-foot spiders and all that jazz?" Skyward asked nervously.

Foxtail regarded this question with some thought. He had been to Minecraftia before, and this realm was beginning to remind him of it a bit. A foreboding wilderness with little to no signs of civilization? Totally familiar. So it would come as no surprise to him if they encountered such fearsome beasts as the ones native to the world of blocks. But while Minecraftia, even in the darkest of places, still held a unique spark of joy, this place... it just came him the chills. "Well, there's only one way to find out" he finally responded. "Tomorrow, we'll explore this place and see if our worries are confirmed."

Wolfy chuckled at the subtle ridicule of his fox friend, but right now he had better things to do.
"I can help hunt, too! I guess I'm a wolf now... I mean, a real one, anywho, feeling instincts and all that. It's kinda cool." Wolfy sat down on all fours and began to walk with the other two.

Chico flicked his tail. "Let's go," he woofed.

Virtu nodded and started walking

[Foxtail made an axe and lit a campfire. Virtu, Chico, and Wolfy went to gather resources. Foxtail, Skyward, and Zane are at the makeshift base. It's currently dusk.]

"Be sure to get back before it gets dark!" Foxtail called after the party, his attention fixed on the campfire's warm glow.

Russia decided to look around nearby to see if he could find anything useful, while at the same time, protecting the campsite. He found some good firewood to bring back. He soon heard something or someone, and smiled, perhaps it could be someone he knew?

Meanwhile, Austria was trying to stop himself from freaking out. He was so used to being at home, feeling safe, and being able to relax and practice playing the piano like he always did. But now he was all alone, or so he thought. The Austrian soon felt something grab his shoulder and he turned around, given a scare because it was Russia who had found him. "O-Oh, I-I-It's you..." He said, trying to calm himself down. Great, now he was stuck here with Russia, great, juuuust great.

Russia chuckled, "follow me back to campsite, da? You could help us out." He said, and Austria nodded, and reluctantly followed. The two soon arrived back at campsite to find Foxtail. "I found someone else that could help us out" the Russian said with a smile.

"Hello" Ki said to Austria "I'm Ki, and these are Foxtail, Austin, Jenny, Zane, and Skyward"

Looking up from the fire, Foxtail half-smiled. A new party member would have its benefits, but on the other hand, it was one more mouth to feed. "Nice to meet ya," he greeted Austria with his laid-back New York accent. "Name's Foxtail, what's yours?"

The nindroid smiled at Foxtail. Maybe that fox was right. Zane just couldn't trust anyone. After a while, he sat down, starting to meditate. He needed to calm down and think.

'Another new person?', Zane thought. At least the new one was a human, not a dragon or a talking animal. "Welcome."

Chico caught some movement in the bushes. Instinctively, he lunged, going in for a killing bite on the neck. The slithering creature suddenly leapt for Chico. Chico yelped, batting it away just before it could sink it's seemingly very sharp fangs into his nose. It was a snake.

Virtu grabbed Chico "Are you ok?" She asked

Chico was shaking, but he nodded. He was fine. But now he was a little ticked off. He lunged for the snake again, more carefully this time and he killed it. He sighed with relief.

"Its a start I guess" Virtu said as she picked up the snake

Still staring at the fire's swaying flames, the young fox decided to do something to kill time while he waited for the others to get back. His eyes flicked over to the boulder he had stood upon this morning, the rock he addressed the group of unfortunate characters, and in a sense, established himself as a sort of leader. The flickering flames cast a glow upon it, and the rock gleamed in the light.

Is that what I think it is? Foxtail wondered, curiously examining the boulder. Looking at it more closely, he noticed a few veins of a shiny mineral ingrained in the rock. A shiny, yellow mineral. Could it be? Did Foxtail stumble across gold? He was no geologist, but he knew for sure it had to be gold! Excited by his discovery, he leaped into action, fabricating a new tool to mine this precious mineral. He scooped up a few stray pieces of flint and bound them to some twigs, and an iconic pickaxe was in his paws. He had to use more materials to craft this tool than he did his axe- rock was a much tougher material than wood, and he needed a sturdier pick to accommodate for it. And lo and behold, the mining tool worked just as well as his hatchet!

Of course, the pickaxe would endure tougher work than his axe, so it'd probably break even faster. Oh well, that was something he could deal with later. Smashing away at the gold vein, sending a few pebbles flying, he took the leftover rubble of flint, rocks, and the precious gold nugget as a trophy to celebrate his victory over his stony adversary. He had his doubts on how gold would aid him on his quest, I mean, it's not like he could buy anything with it or could eat it, but hey, at least it's shiny!

Ki and I looked on as Foxtail chipped away at the gold vein "Wow, good find buddy" Ki said

As soon as everyone had been grouping together and making allies, Dark Pit had decided to melt away into the forest. He didn't care for that kind of activity, and figured he'd be annoyed by the system anyway. Though he did have respect for the golden fox that seemed to act as a leader to all the rest of them. Dark Pit had made sure his paths had not crossed with anyone, and had begun planning for a shelter, despite his churning stomach.
Food was something he'd have to worry about. He was absolutely fine with hunting, though he knew meat would not sustain him. A couple choices of berries had presented themselves to him, but they were different from the ones he knew where he came from. Dark Pit knew, though, that if he did not figure it out in time, he'd lose his chance- autumn was setting, and berries did not necessarily last through the winter. Not much did. He cursed himself for the awful timing of the season.
For now, he returned to his "territory," a fair distance from the others, in a roomy tree. He was indeed striking it out on his own, but he didn't see the harm in being in the same forest, in case an alliance was to be proposed. For now he was altering the shape of the branches; the newer ones could be bent much easier, and reinforcing it with pine branches was making a solid, tiny shelter high up where none could see, the way he liked it.

Skyward looked at the gold. "I'll try to not go crazy for it," she said, "but I'm a dragon, so who knows what will happen?"

Foxtail nodded at Skyward. "I'm sure this place has plenty of gold, and I'll make sure we all get an equal share." Greed was another problem he'd overlooked; while things were going smoothly for the most part, it wouldn't be long before the fights for resources broke out.

But at the moment, the fennec fox was bored. He wished he had his laptop or something with him, something to keep himself entertained. He eyed his materials. Wood, gold, and rocks... Maybe he could make something out of them? Worth a shot. Using logs as a frame, rocks as a chasis, the gold as an improvised power source, and a few other crafting processes, he constructed... a thing. Frankly, he didn't even know what it was supposed to be.

"We should probably get something else before we go back," Chico suggested to Virtu. He glanced up at the sky. It was getting darker.

"What is that Foxtail?" I asked

Ki looked at Skyward "I thought dragons being attracted to gold was a myth" He said

"Yeah, that's true, if we have some sticks and some grass, I could make a trap, it wouldn't be very good, but it would be something" Virtu said

"What do you mean by it being a myth?" Skyward said. "The only myth thing about it is the reason we do it. Some say it's because we need it to breathe fire, some say it's because we collect anything shiny, and some even say that it is because dragons are magical creatures meant to be guardians. All wrong!"

"Well, I know some dragons and they don't care about gold at all, so I thought the whole 'dragons need gold' thing wasn't true" Ki said

"Oh, this? It's a- it's, uh..." He didn't know what it was! It was just some random thing he made out of wood and rocks! He hesitated for a bit, looking for an excuse for what to call it. "It's... a... science machine" he finally blurted out. He was doubtful how effective that the lie was, but it was too late, so he had to roll with it. "Yeah, a Science Machine! It, uh, it breaks things down into their scientific components! Yeah..." Foxtail looked up at Kigali, hoping he'd buy the excuse he'd just fabricated.

"Makes as much sense as this situation in general" I said

"Do you mean it makes none?" Skyward asked, puzzled. "Or do you mean it makes a lot of sense?"

OoC: Is Shadmé accepted? Also, may I use her first-person or should I keep it consistent with third-person?

Dark Pit was aware of the falling darkness as soon as he realized he could not see to work anymore. So he settled into the hollow of the tree, protected and hidden by the branches and leaves, and tried to get comfortable. However, the feeling of hunger constantly bothered him. He kept telling himself, over and over, that he could take care of it next morning...

At last, the last few drops of sunlight sank over the horizon, and the night cast its dark cloak upon the realm, and in this world, darkness was a major concern. Sure, there were the nocturnal beasts that would be rising to hunt, but those were irrelevant compared to an even more dangerous predator lurking in the shadows. There's always a bigger fish... Anyone in the light would render themselves safe from its attack, but those caught in the pitch blackness would suffer.

In the meantime, Foxtail was looking at his "Science Machine", contemplating what sort of practical uses it could have. It was weird; whenever he gazed upon the contraption, a series of sketches and blueprints filled his mind, ideas for bigger, better tools for survival. How he managed to accomplish that, he had no idea, but he decided to look into it further at daybreak. For now, he elected to stay awake for the night to keep watch for any potential danger. He could never be too careful in unfamiliar territory.

[So, in case you didn't get it, this introduces to concept of darkness. At night, it's important to find a light source, because in the dark, you'll be vulnerable to attack from a creature the game simply refers to as the Night Monster. This monster only attacks when it's pitch black and you can't see a thing, so technically, a character with night vision would be safe too. The Night Monster is invulnerable, omnipresent, and deals massive damage to both health and sanity if the character is in the dark for longer than a few seconds.]
[For now, I'll say that Dark Pit is close enough to the fire to be safe, and that Virtu, Chico, and Wolfy have time to get back.]

Teslo looked around. There needed to be something that could help him. He decided on a tree, not that far away, and he supposed he could cut it down with his tail. He started repeating lay hitting it.

It was getting really late now. "I think we should go back," Chico urged to Virtu.

"Not much" I replied

Ki smiled "The fire is nice and warm guys" He said

"I guess so, the others might be upset with a snake dinner though" Virtu said
