"Let's go anyway. The others can catch up." Cyra turned and began to walk away from the lake, heading towards the mountain range which bordered the valley.
Shay jumped out of the lake and followed Cyra.
OoC: Apologies for the lateness. I've been absent lately...
And by dark fusions... yup, meant the rest of ya! ^.^ Are the dark fusions supposed to be evil? I'm not sure if Denim's allowed to be either.
Sparks trotted out of the lake, her long tail sending water droplets everywhere. "Whoops!" she giggled.
Scruffy calmly padded out of the woods, flicking the fluff away from his eyes for a moment. Though he was still interested in the lake expedition, and spending some alone time with Cyra, the location had proven to be very crowded today. And besides, visiting the dark Raichu was indeed a logical suggestion for their predicament. Blinking, Scruffy realized that Cyra was leaving him. "Hey, wait up!" he mumbled, and hurriedly followed, his dark wings slightly spread as he gained some ground.
OOC: It's okay. Glad to have you back.
I've only got one dark fusion. Two of my fusions have been introduced, two of them haven't (one of them being a dark fusion). The dark fusions are not meant to be evil.
Shay grinned at Sparks.

"So do I." Cyra agreed with Austin, and then glanced back, seeing Scruffy catching up to them.
As the group left the lake area, there was a yell as a white and green pokemon burst out of the trees and crashed into the ground in front of them. A large cloud of dust was formed.
Cyra yelped and jumped back.
Suddenly a small white plusle with large flygon wings burst out of the cloud and hovered in front of Cyra's face. "HEY GUYS WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" she cried.
Cyra yelped again and jumped back into Scruffy, making them topple over.
The plusle/flygon fusion grinned and then suddenly zipped in front of Austin's face. "Hi!" she cried.

Trevmor followed the rest of the group, but eventually someone else joined the group. "Hi there, and you are?" Trevmor asked. Before Trevmor got a response, the Plusle/Flygon fusion showed up. He was kind of startled by the other newcomer.
Scruffy made an "oomph" sound as he was bowled over by Cyra. He blinked a couple times, then smiled a little. "I'm fine, Austin," he assured the Mudkip as he waved a wing. Scruffy gently pawed Cyra. "Hey, you mind getting up a sec?"
Sparks grinned back, then reared up in surprise as the Plusle/Flygon fusion arrived. "Ziera? Hey, Ziera!"
Cyra rolled off of Scruffy. She groaned and stood up. "Sorry about that Scruffy," she said. She then looked over and realized who it actually was. She sighed. "It's Ziera."
Ziera looked up and saw Sparks. She beamed and zipped over to her. "Hi Sparks!" she said. She flew around the Blitzle fusion, grinning.

Scruffy shook himself off and rose as well. "Thanks." He cocked his head as he identified the fusion. "Ah. Right. Ziera." He tucked his wings in as she watched her fly around excitedly. Such an unusual fusion, but she sure made the most of it.
Sparks whinnied in hello. "It's been a while, huh? A few days? Something? Anyhow, glad to see you again!" She trotted in circles, chasing Ziera.
"I'm starting to wonder what I got myself into," Trevmor said out loud. Things were starting to get uncomfortable around the others. "Is the Plusle/Flygon your friend Sparks?"
"It's great to see you again!" Ziera said happily, beaming at Sparks.
"She's a friend." Cyra answered before Sparks could say anything. "All us fusions are friends. We all know each other."
Cyra's ears twitched as she heard Austin speak. She blinked and slowly turned her head to look at him. Her yellow eyes were wide and pink blush spread across her cheeks. "Wh-what?" she stuttered.
Scruffy narrowed his eyes at Austin, as he also started to flush a tiny bit. What would Cyra say to Austin? Was Austin aware that Scruffy, too, had a crush on Cyra that spanned a longer time? It's just a crush, he tried to console himself. We can still be friends, after all.
Swallowing, the Poochyena/Murkrow hybrid straightened up and tried to relax. He didn't want anyone to detect how uncomfortable he was.
Sparks grinned at Ziera. "Yeah! Hey, what've you been up to?"
"Going here, there, everywhere." Ziera said, zipping around the Blitzle. "I was going to go on adventure, but then, you know, I couldn't just leave Ferris Forest. Like, where would I sleep? What would I eat? So I thought nah. And I was going to again, but then I was like omg why would I leave my friends behind? SO YEAH."

Cyra averted her eyes away from Austin and lowered her ears. She liked Austin sure, but as a friend. She wasn't sure if she liked him more than that or not. Cyra pushed away stronger feelings other than friendship rather than dealing with them.
"Sounds like fun!" Sparks declared, bouncing a bit in place. "I'd so come with you, though, as long as we don't get lost. But now we're off to see Dark, in his cave! I think. I haven't been there in a long time! Heck, I dunno if I've been there at all!"
Scruffy watched Cyra a moment, then shuffled his paws, wondering if it was too awkward for him to be there.
"N-no, you don't have to leave. B-but...I need to time...to think about things..." Cyra broke off for a moment. She then perked her ears, up, pushing everything to the back of her mind. She looked up. "We're here for one reason," she said to everyone. "And that is to see Dark to talk about the nightmares. Let's go!" She walked off towards the mountains, tail held high.
"Oh, oh, I wanna come with you guys!" Ziera cried, hovering beside Sparks.
Scruffy looked up as Cyra spoke. "You're right," he agreed. "It is important we speak to Dark." He trotted after her, trying to erase the sting of embarrassment from witnessing Cyra and Austin talk.
"Yeah! Let's go!" Sparks cheered, eager to have Ziera as a partner on the trip. She looked around and realized the others had begun to move. "Heh, before we get left behind, that is." She playfully poked Ziera with her tail.
"OK!" Ziera cried, zipping towards the group, but waiting for Sparks to catch up. She considered Sparks her best friend. Not many others could tolerate her. She was loud, and mostly annoying, but she was glad Sparks could put up with her.
Cyra kept walking. She twitched her ears, giving off a sign that she heard him, but didn't reply.
Soon enough, they reached the base of the mountain. There was a small path that led up to a dark cave in the mountain side.
The glaceon and shiny umbreon fusion wasted no time bounding up the pathway. In a matter of seconds she reached the cave and peered inside, then waving her tail as a sign for the others to walk up.
Scruffy had wandered a few pawsteps in front of the others, his maroon eyes the only thing visible in the darkness. He had a feel for the dim lighting, being a Dark type. "Like you said, Dark is not here," he agreed quietly. "We have to go deeper in the cave. Or call to him."
"Look, the cave!" Sparks breathed, having stopped at the entrance. She tried to remember if she'd been there before. "What do you think, Ziera? Kinda creepy, huh?"
OOC: Okay, I'm going to say this once, and hopefully I don't have to say it again: Please slow down. I'm not going to be able to RP 24/7, and I generally lose interest in RPs and drop out of ones I can't partake in because the others go on without me. What all happened just now?
OoC: Erm, calm down. Basically, Ziera is a friend of all the fusions. Austin confesses he likes Cyra, to Scruffy's discomfort, and she tells Austin she isn't sure of her feelings towards him. The fusion group continues on to Dark's cave, and they're getting ready to go in.
OOC: Okay. I just hate it when I get left behind in an RP.
"Hmmm, it doesn't scare me," Trevmor said. "I've faced quite a few dangers in my life. I'm sure I can take anything in that cave." ...Trevmor was assuming right now that he'd have to fight something. It was possible his words came off as mindless rabble to the others.
Cyra, due to being fused with an umbreon, could also slightly see in the dark, but she didn't have any rings so she couldn't light the way.
"Everyone, single file," she ordered. "Dark shouldn't be too far in. Also, don't make any loud noises." She turned her head, looking back at Ziera and giving her a glare.
Ziera saw Cyra's glare and immediately lowered her voice, but not her enthusiasm. "Yeah! It's really creepy! Though who would want to live in a dark cave? It's, like, so dark!"
Scruffy began to move forward as well, concentrating on the sounds. Sight wasn't helpful, and neither was scent, when there was nothing but stone around. But the echo from his friends' voices helped him detect where there were walls and where there were not. A plink-plink of water drops alerted him to a slightly damper area, and he moved around it.
"I agree!" Sparks whispered excitedly, not wanting to be on the receiving end of a glare from Cyra. "It's so dark and weird and stuff. Sunlight's totally more natural than this!"
Cyra padded further into the cave, and as she turned a sharp corner, she noticed the darkness beginning to fade, and crystals came into view, lighting up the cavern.
"Yeah, I like sunlight rather than darkness." Ziera said. "I can't see anything otherwise. It's like, too dark!"
"Ssshhh!" Cyra hissed, padding behind Austin. She passed him and looked around.
"Where is he?" Ziera murmured, her voice quiet for once.
"He should be here." Cyra murmured.
Suddenly, a gruff sounding voice was heard. "What are you doing here?"
Cyra turned her head to the left and looked up, seeing a dark blue raichu sitting on a ledge in the cavern wall. He was leaning back against the wall, his eyes closed.
"Dark." Cyra said, turning her body to face him.
Dark opened his red eyes and looked down at the group. "Cyra." He looked at her for a moment and then spoke, asking the same question. "What are you doing here?"

Dark immediately darted his red gaze to Trevmor. His eyes narrowed and he turned his body to face the group of pokemon and fusions.
"The nightmares, you say?" Dark murmured.
"Yes, the nightmares." Cyra flicked her tail impatiently. "All us fusions have been having them, so it'd be a bit odd if you weren't having them too." She then repeated Trevmor's question. "Do you know anything?"
Small sparks of electricity sizzled around Dark's cheeks. "I do." He replied quietly, but still in his gruff tone.

Dark turned his head and looked at Austin, narrowing his eyes even more. "I'm fine," he growled.
Cyra stepped back.
Dark looked at the others. "Does anyone else have anything to ask before I explain?" he asked in his gruff tone of voice.
Sparks had grinned at her friend, only for crystal room to come into view. Ooh, pretty! I guess there is light in this cave after all! she thought. She didn't dare voice her thoughts out loud, though, since everyone had stopped talking. The dark Raichu was just ahead.
Scruffy dipped his head respectfully at Dark as the Poochyena fusion had arrived, but said nothing.
Dark lay his tail over the edge of the ledge he was sitting on and looked at the group.
"Even though I am not entirely sure," Dark began. "I do no think these are ordinary nightmares."
"Then what are they?" Cyra asked.
Dark locked gazes with the glaceon and umbreon fusion. "They are visions."
Scruffy's ears went back as this new information became known. Was it true? Visions? He couldn't help it- the memory of his awful nightmares flashed in his mind, and though he'd been a pup when he was aware of himself in the lab, he despised the place. There was no way that could be true… right? Hadn't they earned their freedom? How could this happen again?
"N…no…" he growled softly, more out of fear than anger. "That can't be…"

"Vi-visions?" Cyra's eyes went wide and she stepped back.
Dark stood up on the ledge. "Nightmares cannot occur through multiple creatures at the same time. Even though all the fusions are connected, it could not happen. Visions, however, are more likely, and especially since they about our fear, which are the labs, and the tests that would be performed on us." He growled. "However, I cannot tell whether these visions are showing flashes of the past...or the future."
