"How do we stop it?" Froststar asked. "Maybe we could reform WindClan and RiverClan..."

"Maybe, but would anybody want to split from their Clan? We could... unite..." she slowly said, "temporarily, until we figure out what we are gonna do. If we're all together, we might be able to have a chance at destroying the dark forest."
"What!" Eaglefeather exclaimed.
"ThunderClan! Resort to defensive attacks!" She quickly meowed over the battle.

"Or we could get the help of rouges, loners and Kittypets." Frostar suggested.

"That might work..." Shadowstar thought for a second, "do you know of any cooperative kittypets or loners? I recall a cat named Lucinda. She helped fight a fox to protect our apprentices."

"And wasn't there a cat named Juniper? He helped ShadowClan find Claypaw when he was a kit." Froststar added.

Shadeflight had made it up to the top of the tree, casting an eerie glance at the rest of the cats beneath her. Shadowstar had climbed down by now. So she crouched, trying to pick out another target.

Cloverpaw blinked open her eyes, the fuzzy shape of a cat materializing in front of her. She only remembered a gray cat...Claypaw, maybe...tackling her into the lake.
"Um...I think I'm okay..." she said to the cat. "What happened?"

"No problem!" Breezefoot meowed cheerily. "I'll get going now." Out of habit, she glanced into the sky to see how much moonlight was left, and was met with darkness. Shrugging down a feeling of sadness, she took off to the Gathering.

Shadowstar nodded, "How are we going to stop this fight? At this rate, i'm sure something bad is going to happen," Shadowstar felt her brother leave, probably to help some cats.

"It's just me, Lightningclaw. You were in the lake so I jumped in and saved you," he looked away awkwardly, "anyway, how did you end up in there?"

Personality: Kind, quiet and persistant

"Oh," Cloverpaw meowed sheepishly, putting his voice and his pelt together as she recognized Lightningclaw. "Well...thanks?" She flattened her ears at the thought of needing saving. "I ended up in there because of a mousedung-for-a-brain ShadowClan apprentice!" Cloverpaw spat the words like poison, her sarcastic side returning as she returned to consciousness.

Breezefoot began to think something was wrong as she approached the island. Yowls of angry cats could be heard, and it was as if an aura of madness was surrounding the area. She took on a burst of speed as she crossed the tree-bridge and gazed upon the Gathering in horror.

LC P.O.V.

"Calm down, Shadowstar doesn't want us to fight, so most of us are using defensive moves," he said, "but if we have to, we will fight"

Eaglefeather's P.O.V.

The male warrior darted through the clearing, trying his best not to get caught... that went well... he had multiple scratches on him, but he didn't care. Spotting ThunderClan's most trusted medicine cat, Breezefoot, over at the tree bridge, he decided to approach her.
"Be careful!" he warned as he got closer.

Iceheart's P.O.V.

The camp was really quiet, and no sign of any danger presented itself.
"Damn it! Without the moon, we have no idea if the gathering has been a breeze or not..." he looked around the camp again, making sure nothing was out of place. Everything was fine, nothing's gone wrong...
Iceheart swore he heard cats screeching, but ignored it, thinking he was paranoid.

Molefur lunged at Breezefoot, recognizing her as the ThunderClan medicine cat. He rushed towards her, yowling like crazy.

Froststar turned to Shadowstar. "Call off your cats!" she meowed. "I'll call off mine."

Shadowstar's eyes dilated. "ThunderClan! Stop now!" she yowled as loud as she could.

Eaglefeather ran to Breezefoot's side while Lightningclaw looked over at his mother.

"SHADOWCLAN! Stop attacking!" Froststar yowled. Seeing Molefur lunge for Breezefoot, she quickly intercepted the attack and grabbed Molefur by his scruff.

Eaglefeather sighed, "that was close..."

Breezefoot looked over as Eaglefeather warned her. She nodded, then frowned. "What is going on? There's always peace at-" She jumped at the sound of a car lunging for her. She quickly backed up as quickly as possible, but thankfully the attacking ShadowClan cat was caught by Froststar. Breezefoot's ears went back. "Why is this happening?"

Cloverpaw huffed. "Fine..." She looked down the tree as she heard most of the yowling start to cease. "Seems to be over, anyway."

Nightdapple shook his head, not having participated in much of the fighting. What's wrong with me? he wondered. Why did I want to fight innocent cats? At a Gathering, no less!

"Something's happening." Froststar whispered. "Something bad."

Wolfscar walked over to Shadowstar. "You and Froststar... Along with the medicine cats, you were the only ones unaffected. Maybe because of your deeper connection to StarClan."

Molefur had finally started acting normal, and looked around, wondering why he was bring grabbed my Froststar.

Shadowstar nodded slowly, "Maybe StarClan's connection is weakening... I had to restrain myself quite a bit..." she admitted, "Wolfscar, could you please gather up ThunderClan?"

LightningClaw nodded and started jumping down the tree, "I think it's safe now!" he called.

Cloverpaw made her way to Lightningclaw as he called, tiny shivers going through her body. The chill from the lake water was still affecting her.

"Do you want me to end the Gathering?" Wolfscar asked.

Molefur felt dizzy from his injuries. "Where's the medicine cat?" he meowed to nobody in particular.

Breezefoot's gaze flicked to Molefur. Despite being the cat that had attacked her, she had vowed to heal and help cats, regardless of Clan boundaries. So she grabbed some herbs nearby and sat down beside him, looking over his injuries. "You're hurt," she meowed bluntly. At a Gathering! That's something I haven't ever seen... "Let me help you."

Shadowstar's P.O.V.

"Yeah, We're going back to Camp after we say a few words. Froststar, would you like to continue the gathering quickly, or leave now?" Shadowstar asked.

Lightningclaw's P.O.V.

He waited for the apprentice at the base of the tree. His mother/leader was in a conversation with ShadowClan's leader, Froststar. They better apologize for this... he thought as a low growl escaped him. "You OK?" he suddenly asked Cloverpaw.

Eaglefeather's P.O.V.

Eaglefeather followed Breezefoot cautiously. If their medicine cat was attacked, the Clan would be in trouble, and Eaglefeather wasn't about to let some ShadowClan warrior kill one of his Clan-mates.

"We should leave now." Froststar suggested. "Everyone is on high alert and nervous."

Molefur growled to himself. "Those ThunderClan cats ruined everything! This was my first Gathering as a warrior and they blew it all! Mouse-dung!"

Shadowstar nodded, "agreed. We don't know what would happen if we stay. Thunderclan! We're leaving!" she said before stalking off towards the tree bridge.

Lightningclaw and Eaglefeather followed.

Wolfscar walked next to Shadowstar. "You'll need to rest." he suggested. "How about I watch the Calm for you in the morning?"

Froststar gathered up the ShadowClan cats. "ShadowClan, we are leaving!" she yowled.

Graystrike purred, a rare occurrence. "We have done it." he growled. "Soon, we won't need to even lift a paw. The Clans will fight each other for us and we will control the territory!"

((Graystrike was once a proud RiverClan warrior. He tried to murder the medicine cat of WindClan in her sleep and was exiled. He died a week later when he met that same WindClan medicine cat looking for herbs with two warriors to guard her. That is why he destroyed WindClan first, and then RiverClan for exiling him.))

"That would be nice Wolfscar, thank you," Shadowstar replied.

Iceheart's P.O.V.

"Shadowstar!" Iceheard said as he ran frantically towards his mate who was just entering the camp.
"Are you OK?" Shadowstar nodded tiredly, "there was a fight with ShadowClan, but something didn't seem right about it."
She then turned to Wolfscar, "tell the Clan of what happened, but also tell them that Froststar didn't start the fight."

Cloverpaw padded after Lightningclaw.

Breezefoot also followed the ThunderClan patrol back to their territory. Her mind was abuzz with all she'd seen. How could a battle of that level happen? At a Gathering, no less? She pricked her ears towards Wolfscar expectantly, in hopes of hearing what she had not been present for.

"Coming!" Shadeflight purred, hopping off the tree branch and following Froststar. Nightdapple and Claypaw followed, their heads low.

Wolfscar nodded. "Of course, Shadowstar." he meowed.

Froststar led the cats back into the camp. "Shadeflight, tell the Clan what happened. I want to try to talk to StarClan." She walked into her den and fell asleep, hoping for any dream at all.

Appearance: Silverstorm is a gray she-cat. Now that she is in StarClan, her pelt sparkles like the stars. Her eyes are icy blue.
Personality: Silverstorm is caring and friendly, helping any cats she meets. She has been trying hard to reach the Clans after the Dark Forest took over.

Shadowstar curled up in her den with Iceheart beside her.

Lightningclaw entered the camp and sighed. It was late, and he was exhausted, you would be two if you were cramped up in a tree for most of the night. He slipped into the warriors den and curled up on his nest. 'StarClan... Where are you?' he thought before closing his eyes.

Appearance: A blue-gray cat with white circles around his eyes. His pelt sparkles like the stars.
Personality: Poolpelt is kind and wise, but never fears battle. He used to be an avid mentor, having 3 apprentices before he died, a rare number. Like Silverstorm, he tried to reach the Clans after the Dark Forest took over.

Shadowstar lay asleep in her den

Appearance: Fogheart is a pale gray she cat with white muzzle, underbelly and paws.
Personality: Fogheart wants to protect her Clan, ShadowClan, although sometimes she can be to unwilling to accept help. She can be feisty, and it may sometimes come off as rude.

Fogheart was in her den. She was lying down, waiting for the clan to return. Hopefully those pesky ThunderClan cats didn't try anything sneaky.

Shadeflight, swift as a shadow, hopped up onto a large trunk. "ShadowClan, hear my words!" she meowed, alerting any members of the Clan still awake. "Big things happened at the Gathering tonight, and it would be wise to hear about it. Froststar has given me permission to share the news."

"Go to sleep, Claypaw," Nightdapple told the weary apprentice. "It's been a long night." When the gray apprentice disappeared where the others slept, Nightdapple poked his head into the warrior's den. "Fogheart? There's a Clan meeting going on out there."

Fogheart nodded. She crept out of the warriors den, her ears pricked. What had happened?

Eaglefeather wandered around the camp thinking of the past events. Were they really going to kill a medicine cat? Or was it a mistake?. He then sat down and looked at the sky. StarClan hasn't spoken in a long time...

Shadeflight smiled as the last of the ShadowClan warriors emerged. "Tonight at the Gathering, something unheard of wrapped itself among the Clans. Cat against cat, Clan against Clan. That is right- a battle broke out at the Gathering." She flicked her tail as uneasy meowing resounded among the cats. "Though it has now been resolved, the message is clear- even Gatherings are becoming places where we must keep up our guard." She tilted her head, to see if any cats had comments surrounding the event.

Fogheart's first response ususally would be, I should have been there! But she knew better than to say that. "We should attack ThunderClan," she growled, "teach them a lesson about picking fights with ShadowClan!"

Icewhisker gave an uneasy meow. "This time is dangerous for all of us!"

Shrewkit unsheathed his claws. "Let me at him!" he mewed. "I'll shred them!"

Shadeflight's whiskers twitched amusedly. "I agree. We should teach ThunderClan a lesson. They'll be on edge, yet it won't cross their minds that we would attack. But unfortunately, I'm not Clan leader." She shrugged indifferently. "I shall keep your opinions in mind when I talk with Froststar. Anything else?"

Eaglefeather strolled out of the camp aimlessly. He was beginning to think the Dark Forest cats were watching his every move, along with his sister. Shadowstar had told him a few days ago (if you can even call it that considering night is longer now) that it was dangerous to be on your own outside of the camp as they would take it as an opportunity to kill or control them. But he didn't care, he just wanted to think.
If we couldn't stop them in reality, then maybe we can take the battle to them instead... we could infiltrate them... but how can we do that...

The cats remained silent, staring up Shadeflight.

She walked through a forest, similar to her own. The night air was cool, and her fur fluttered in the breeze. "Hello?" she meowed unsure of what dangers were out there

Lucinda sat on her owners roof, peering over the forest. She always wandered what sort of adventure lies out there. Cinder was a kittypet, but she often only went into the den for food (Which tasted pretty bland) and preferred the feeling of the fresh wind on her face. It was strange, but she honestly thought night was becoming longer. Instead of waking at dawn, she would wake while the dark sky was still upon her. She decided to forget about it and started roaming her street again.

Froststar finally fell asleep, her paws twitching like she was running.

Froststar was in a state half-asleep and she knew that an ancient cat was coming. She didn't know if that was good news or bad news. A white cat walked up to her, and she scratched the ground nervously. She didn't know if the cat was a friend or a foe.
