Sorry for the double post, but...

In celebration of Metroid: Samus Returns releasing later this month...

Metroid II: Return of Samus - Caverns 1 Theme

Metroid II: Return of Samus - Caverns 2 Theme

Metroid II: Return of Samus - Caverns 3 Theme

Metroid II: Return of Samus - Omega Metroid Territory

Metroid II: Return of Samus - Metroid Nest

For a simple Game Boy soundtrack, there's an emptiness and an eerie menace to these. Hopefully Samus Returns has some creepy gems, too.

Kirby Star Allies spoilers.

This isn't immediately disturbing and feels like an homage to Majora's Incarnation and Zant, but it's so un-Kirby like that not even Ripple Star Catacombs gets close. It's alien in a whole universe of alien characters and it really spells how unhinged and out there Hyness already is by the time you face him. Doesn't help that this theme is also a corruption of Friendly Fields(the game's second main theme) and part of it starts playing outside the entrance, perfectly setting the tone for the ending. Not even the final boss themes get as quiet and slow, always keeping the majestic leitmotif of the Jambandra cult - but Hyness' theme is so quiet.

Then you remove the hood and he just does a 180 to badass instead.
