Austin headed up behind Sangris "Guys, this is Sangris" He said to everyone else

"Wow! I guess it's a full house then," he said, looking at everyone.

Rosa continuing to pet Foxtail turned to see Sangris, and was awfully surprised to see him standing there coming from downstairs all through the doorway. Rosa was taken to the new creature and after another assurance spell to reach out to Foxtail she walked over to look at Sangris. Rosa then said hello and reached out to him to also commit herself as harmless to him through her power and smiled at him. "I haven't seen a dragon in sometime," Rosa said gleefully as she reached out to touch his wings.

Gavin walked over to see Sangris too. "I've never seen one ever."

The second assurance spell really did it for him; Foxtail was lulled to sleep with just about the most adorable pleasured smile possible.

As per usual, the fennec kit found himself in the abandoned castle. He groaned. Dang it, why do I have to go back here? Business as always, Lotus's cry for help sounded from the dungeon, and Foxtail reached in vain for the gun he didn't have.

But for whatever reason, he actually was armed that time! Astonished, that alone gave him all the confidence in the world, and with a sly grin and a glint in his eyes, he sprinted down into the bowls of the earth, shouting out to his distressed companion. "Hang in there, babe! Foxy's coming!"

In the real world, he appeared to talk in his sleep, saying that same line in a more hushed tone.

"I used to hand out with-," she stopped when she heard Foxtail say something, "Oh my goodness! He actually talks she rushed over to hear him say something again in his sleep. Concerned for some reason she felt the need to stay by him if anything happen for reasons she couldn't understand then looked over to the others but paused longer to look at Gavin then continued to watch Foxtail.

"Of course he can talk" Austin said as Ki came downstairs

"Who are they" Ki asked

"That's Rosa, and the dragon is Sangris" Austin answered

"Nice to meet you both" Ki said

"Hello yourself." Sangris wasn't quite sure what to say - he hadn't been surrounded by pleasant company for a long time. "So I hear some of you have also been having issues with nightmares?"

(So, I fell behind a bit...can someone help catch me up? :c Sorry.)

[We're all just meeting up at Austin's place for the moment. Nothing much else happened.]

"Yeah we have, my nightmare has been the same each time, a monstrous me chases me down a hallway, I wake up before he gets me" Ki told Sangris as he sat next to him

I glide from my roof top perch on through the town, hovering high on the winds, using my own heated breaths to heighten myself among the skies. I look about, using my dragon eyes to prowl around for magical abilities like the ones I felt in my dream, as loosely as I had (I'm now writing from first person because I can). Seeing a surge of mystical abilities focused on one location I decide to investigate, knowing that a large cluster of powerful beings might hold some importance here. Landing swiftly I knock on Austin's door, waiting for a reply politely.

I looked closer at Rosa's face. Not including her elfness, she looked exactly like my sister before she died! I remember all my sad memories with her. Watching her get on the plane to go to war, waving goodbye one last time to her. We talked through FaceTime for a while. Then one day, she said she will be doing Top-Secret business and couldn't talk until she got home. A year later, as all the families were greeting the soldiers, we never saw her get off the plane. My family quickly realized she had never been on the plane. As the memories jolted through me, I gasped and wore a worried expression on my face.

OOC: This'll get hella confusing...

Rosa heard a gasp and looked to Gavin and returned his worried expression wondering exactly what had happened to make him gasp. Then she continued to look at Foxtail with wonder that he could speak and pondered on whether she should wake him if they had all been experiencing the nightmares, but instead felt for his soul to encourage him. "I've been having dreams of seeing my uncle get killed by a horrid beast even though he's already dead. Then the beast chases me." Rosa said with hurt on her face as she continued to gaze at the fox lying in his sleep.

"My dream has been pretty much the same each time. I get into a fight with... some beast thing, or whatever it is, and I die." Sangris spaced out a bit recalling it. "Eventually, when I get a bit more control of my mind, I'm just going to murder it and bury it, and that'll be the end of that."

Rosa turned to look at Sangris, "Are you sure that you can just murder it and all will be done?" She asked looking at Sangris uncertainly wondering if it could all be just that simple as to conquer the subconscious if that's all it was.

"Well," said Sangris, "it's worked for me several times in the past. Nightmares are nothing new for me - this is a bit more persistent, but should be doable, unless there is more happening than I know." He moved his head up a bit, in thought. "Perhaps it's just this area, since most, if not all, of you seem to also be affected."

"What if it's more than just us?" Rosa asked worry on her face as she hid her obvious facial expression by looking down at Foxtail. "What if there are other people out there and then what if it's just us then why just us?" She was getting overwhelmed and turned to the others tears streaming down her face looking hopeless with all these thoughts whirling around in her mind.

Austin heard the knock on the door and answered it "Who are you" He asked

"Austin said it was some evil force invading our dreams" Ki said as he hugged Rosa "Calm down buddy"

"Well doesn't that make it worse?" She said sobbing not able to take another night of seeing her beloved uncle die again.

I tried to comfort Rosa. "It's okay. I've seen someone die many times in my nightmares many many times too." I said as I patted her on the back.

"It's ok buddy, we'll be here for you" Ki said as he held Rosa

"Foxtail, help!" Lotus cried, pushing the fox onward as he came to the cell door. When the grunt burst forth, it took a bullet to the face and crumpled to the floor. The beast defeated, Lotus lept into Foxtail's arms and they both exited the castle, sharing a kiss as the unknown force reduced the place to a pile of rubble behind them.

...That's what he expected to happen, that is. But unfortunately, just as he had gotten his pistol this time, what laid waiting for him behind the door was different as well. In a much larger room than a simple dungeon cell, Lotus was not alone; she had been silenced by a past form of herself, a cursed form, one she hoped to never relive. Jet black and shrouded in flames, it was Pyre, a form she had taken as a result of being influenced with fire and ender magic.

"Well, well, Foxy, long time, no see" Pyre said in a smooth, seductive voice. "I'd love to sleep with you, but alas, I must leave. This ritual won't complete itself, after all." Pyre grabbed Lotus and beat her dragon-like wings to take to the air. "I'll let my colleagues deal with you, darling. Exmortis, smite this fool!" And with that, Pyre vanished in a flash of violet light, leaving Foxtail at the mercy of the cosmic entity that took his life so many times before.

Foxtail slowly woke up to the commotion in the living room. "Guys..." he said weakly, still a bit drowsy from Rosa's spell.

"Yeah Foxtail" Ki said as he let go of Rosa and went over Foxtail

Rosa stopped upon hearing Foxtail. "Foxtail are you okay?" She pounced towards him and asked tears still going and worry onher face.

The lack of sleep was putting Sangris in a bit of an irritable mood. "Well, who's the problem? Who the hell is doing this? Tell me where they are and I'll fix the problem myself," he offered angrily.

"Thing is, we don't know" Austin said to Sangris from at the door

After he became more awake, Foxtail elaborated on his vision. "My nightmare... it was different that time. My girlfriend was still dead, but she was killed by someone else. It was an old form of herself she used once that she could barely control called Pyre... I don't think she's behind it on her own, she mentioned something called the 'Exmortis' and some kind of ritual..."

*gasp!* "Lotus is in trouble!" With that, Foxtail bolted out the door, booking it back home to save his mate from certain peril.

"Exmortis" Ki was frozen in place

"Oh no, Ki, pull yourself together, we have to help Foxtail" Austin said as he went over to his friend

"No! I can't fight my dad, he'll destroy me" Ki said as he started to cry as horrible memories came back to him

Entering and observing the conversation unfolding, finally deciding to chime in,"My master once mentioned Exmortis as a demon colaboration of sorts, or at least that's how he explained it. He knows very little of it, some old deities thought they'd killed it off or something I think he said. If you're wondering how strong these things are I've faced one. From the sounds of it, I'd say it's a lot higher ranked than anything they've thrown at you guys, so their power may not be completely unmanageable. Does anyone here have the ability to drop people into other's dreams? It may help if more than the host is there next time we try this."

"Ki's dad is a high-ranking official in Exmortis" Austin told everyone "Who are you anyway"

"I can't do this" Ki said as Austin held him

"I'm a dragon prince. My father is of the black breed, royal of the highest rank. I've been trained by some of the strongest fighters in existence, one of which is a legend in and of himself, the master I refereed to. I'm a sentinel of this world and self assigned guardian of Earth. My name is Ragenald Verdes. Sorry for barging in here without elaborating at all, that was my fault. Do you know how powerful Exmortis is, Austin? I've only seen one being capable of taking on a Goyain, the fused gods that I had heard defeated the original Exmortis. If they're anywhere near as strong as they were when he was at his peak, then we may be in over our heads as it stands." I keep my serious expression, looking among the group with my vision to try and gauge who's the strongest, seeing very high powers among us.

(I like it. Wanna be the neighbor who overhears the racket and comes over to see what's happening? It's a nice way to be introduced to the story. Or maybe you have a nightmare?)

"What is all this noise about?" I ask. I then knocked on the door. "HELLO?!?!" I ask\yell.

OOC: Fine by me.

"It's open" Austin yelled at the door "Their strong Ragenald, all of my attempts to defeat them in the past failed miserably" He said

"My dad is strong enough to kill us all in one attack" Ki said in tears

I opened the door.

"Maybe this was a bad idea." said Frost.

"BE QUIET!" I told her. She was in my bag. In whisper of course.

"Why is everyone here?" I asked.

"I have a few strong warriors I could call for help if need be. My master could probably take on this Exmortis alone, but he's very reluctant to intervene with anything, so I think we can count him out in terms of help. Also, gauging everyone here, I'd say we could probably stand a good shot against most things they can throw at us. Your father probably couldn't kill us ALL in one hit, at least not all of us at once in one strike." I try to console Ki, smiling comfortingly. I gauge the powers of the newcomer, seeing she's decidedly weak, but has a strong will and heart.

"Hi Maria, how is Frost" Austin said to her "They've been having nightmares for the past week and it's caused by Exmortis, Ki's dad is high-ranking with them Maria"

"Trust me, he can, he's taken down armies in seconds" Ki said

I sighed. "So can I join?" I ask.

"I think you can." Mumbled Frost. "Be quiet I told you!" I yelled\whispered.

"My father is capable of claiming the same, though I can't. My master could probably take him any all of Exmorits at once on his own with no problem, even if your father was of a mediocore rank. So let's just hope he's taught me well enough to help put a dent in their ranks." I smile with my fangs barred, my confidence showing through.

I smile as I see the tiny dragon perched on Maria's shoulder,"Oh my gosh, is that an ice-bassed dragon!? They're adorable~" I loose myself in awe as I hold out my hand greeting to him.

"H-how did you know my name?" I ask.

I smile and take the dragon from your shoulder and hold him on my forearm happily, looking at frost as one would a baby.
