Jay resumes her sleep, shifting only slightly throughout the night

Bushroot sat atop the house and got out the doll, he sat it atop their and left, If I have it with me, Drake could catch me... speaking of which, he thought.

The sun begins to rise over the horizon and Xander lifts his head sleepily, coughing ever so slightly. His illness was getting better, but worse. He didn't have the medication, or someone who could suppress the illness. He waits for Jay to awaken before telling her.

Bushroot was blinded by the morning light but his vision eventually cleared up and he searched for the Xander doll.

Jay awakens with a small thud, as she falls off the bed while she stretches. She morphs to human form and throws her arms up "I'm okay!"
She sits down on the bed next to Xander.

Xander gets caught in a harsh coughing fit. He recovers and smiles gently at Jay.
"That's good. I'm afraid I'm not doing well though."

Jay hugs Xander. "What's wrong? Is your illness getting worse?" Jay asks with a worried look

Bushroot failed to remember their house and continued to search.

Xander nodded.
"Yes. I don't have medication for it, or someone who can suppress it."

"Oh no" Jay says, hugging Xander close.

Xander coughed, each one racking his frail body. He kept Jay close to him.
"I'm just going to get weaker and weaker. I might start coughing blood again."

"We need to get you help" Jay said, hugging Xander

"Where will we get the help? There's so many bounty hunters and sharpshooters out there that it's too dangerous. Alpheratz can't help because he lost Hinnah to the same illness. He doesn't know how to cure it." Xander says sadly.

"Didn't we get help from that one girl a while back? What was her name… Hmm…" Jay began to stare off in thought

"Ada?" Xander suggests.

Bushroot finally found the doll and hugged it, "At last, now my mission will be complete!"

Jay nods "Why don't we ask her for help?" Jay asks

Xander looks at Jay with a tired expression.
"Do I look like I'm in any condition to climb that huge snowy peak to Daniel and Ada?"

Bushroot was flying to find a place to destroy the doll, but he dropped it and it fell at Jay's feet.

"I never suggested you to be climbing." Jay smiled

Bushroot went in the room to go get it, but Drake showed up and grabbed him.

Xander chuckled.
"I don't want to put the strain on you."

"D-drake, hehehe... long time no see...?" said Bushroot nervously

"it will be fine. I'd do anything to help you" Jay said with a small smile

Xander smiles.
"You're too nice."

Jay smiles "I just care" Jay says with a laugh

"How's this for a friendly greeting?" asked NegaDuck as he tossed him on the floor and kicked him.

"So-so," said Bushroot.

Xander smiled before coughing.
"You're not that strong though since you're recovering. You should have Serge carry me."

Bushroot tried to run, but Negaduck grabbed him, "Let's get revenge my friend,"

"But the question is if he will" Jay said "I'll do it if he won't"

Xander coughed.
"We should get moving quickly then."

Bushroot bit Drakes finger's causing him to let go, this gives Bushroot enough to grab the doll and go.

Jay nods, wrapping her arm around Xander to give him support.

Xander leans on Jay as he stands. He falls to his knees coughing and attempts to stand again.

Bushroot flew into the window, "What's wrong Xander? Hahahaaha...." mocked the crow

Jay helps Xander to stand, walking with him slowly to the entrance

Sachi stands as she sees Jay and Xander. She frowns at her brother, who was being seized by more than several coughing fits.

Bushroot looked at the doll and smiled, "Looks like I won't need you," said Bushroot flapping outside to put the doll up on a tree

OCC: One of my characters made a voodoo doll of Xander and somehow he got ill

Drake searched for the pesky black feathered traitor to right all his wrongs, Where are you...? he pondered

Jay continues walking with Xander as she looks to Sachi. "He's not doing well…" Jay says with a sad tone.

Yay!

Sachi nods and looks at Xander in worry.

Serge carries Xander carefully, trying to avoid hurting his friend.

Xander weakly held Jay's hand, offering a smile.

Bushroot flew back by the window and gave a sly smile, "They still don't remember me..." he muttered, "...good..."

Jay looks at Xander, worry filling her eyes. She tried to disguise the worry with a small smile.

I keep wanting to put "Xamder" instead of "Xander" DX
I'm writing a book, and one of the main characters is Xamder, so I keep messing up XP

Xander smiles softly at Jay.
"I'm...sorry. I...keep...making...you...worry." He says in between harsh coughing bouts.

"It's fine" Jay smiles "It's not your fault" She says touching a hand to Xander's forehead.
