No. I said UNATTAINABLE.

ooc: we didn't answer this one.

I thought Mew is unattainable in the original games. NOA and Japan just decided to be nice and release wifi gifts and such, just like Celebi who before 2009 (i think) wasn't attainable unless you used some sort of form of cheats. Celebi and Mew are the rarest pokemon in the olden days and basically you couldn't get them back then without some via special event!

But....to answer your question: Mewtwo.

Nope. It's pretty easy to get a Mew. Some simple instructions, and you get in a fight with one. Celebi is harder.

Celebi requires raising a specific Pokemon in a specific way so that Beat Up is it's third move. That is the hard part. Then you breed it with a Ditto, and somewhere around a specific point, you do a specific process to create a "bad copy" (Which is taking advantage of a programming flaw with data values.). Then, once hatched, the result is a Lvl 0 Celebi that you must raise to level 2 using a daycare, and then it works naturally.

Ghost is the answer. No method outside of hacking can get it. Even then, it doesn't work, as it doesn't have a Pokedex number or entry (or data value even) assigned to it.

@Prysom. See. Cheating. Duh. You can get anything that way. Pfft...wow. Yeah see, don't talk about rare with me.

And Ghost? Wtf is a ghost! There's ghost-type pokemon. But no such thing as ghost, unless you're referring to the pokemon tower in Lavender town, but still, they're actually the Pokemon ghastly(I think) and haunter. Not some stupid thing as ghost. Dude....not cool man. Crappy question...

Here's the pokemon data (by serebii net)
Diamond It has eyes that can see through anything. It spots and captures prey hiding behind objects.
Pearl When its eyes gleam gold, it can spot hiding prey--even those taking shelter behind a wall.
Platinum It can see clearly through walls to track down its prey and seek its lost young.
HG/SS ______'s ability to see through objects comes in handy when it's scouting for danger.
