Aretis blinked and sat down reluctantly. "I'm having the weirdest deja vu..." He muttered.

"hm, funny, i kinda have a similar feeling. its like i already teleported your but here for healing." Rouge said, grining a bit, her tone almost sarcastic.

Aretis looked at the bigger dragoness. "I-Is everyone alright?" He asked.

"Hmm well this certianly changes things abit." Tundra said thinking for abit.

"i do not know. i have not seen Prince Tundra or the others." she said.
"i could go look for them." Rouge offered.
"go then. i will tend to him." the dragoness said. Rouge nodded.
"be right back." she said before teleporting out. she went to the battlefield, but saw no one was there. she then teleported back home, and walked inside Slean's lair. "Mom! i need to use the vision pool! i got some dragons to find!" she hollered as she walked down the hallway.
"over here, dear! i think i know where they are." she called.
"where?" Rouge asked, following her voice. she then saw Slean and the others. "oh. nevermind then."

Aretis sighed. He hoped the dark dragons hadn't done any damage. Aretis tried to stay awake, but soon fell asleep.

"Hey uhhh rouge." He said to her as he looked at the other dragoness.

"oh, hey. um, Aretis is back at the ice castle's infrimary, and he was asking about you guys, so i thought i'd find you and check in." she said.
"well, we're fine. is he ok?" Firefly asked.
"yeah, as far as i know. he seems fine to me, but i'm no doctor."

Aretis woke up after 5 minutes or so. He got up looking as if he'd been asleep for hours.

the dragoness smiled.
"feeling better?" she asked him.

Aretis blinked. "Uh, yeah..." He mumbled.

"We uhh better go and find him then. Mom I'll come back later to talk to ya." he told her

"that's good to hear." she smiled.

Aretis coughed. His nose scrunched up at the stench. "Ugh...what happened?" He muttered.

"alright then, Tundra. goodbye." Slean said. she then disappeared into the darkness.
"come on, lets head back." Firefly said. Rouge and Electra nodded.

Rouge had explained to the dragoness what had happened on the battlefield, and now the dragoness repeated what she had said to Aretis, telling every detail as if she were there.

Aretis shook his head as if clearing some sort of fog. He blinked. "Wh-Where's everyone now?" He asked the nurse.

"Miss Rouge just let to go find them." the nurse replied.

Aretis sighed. He went over in his mind what happened. "That should've worked...why didn't it..." He muttered inaudibly.

"Rouge should be back any minute. i suggest you stay here until she reports back. you could probally use some rest and relaxation after what happened." she said.

Aretis thanked the nurse and laid on his cot...er...whatever it was. He couldn't sleep. He kept pondering on how the dark dragons had found him.

the nurse let out a sigh. she then got out a piece of meat from a cold storage space.
"would you like something to eat? its mainly frozen, but its betetr than nothing. besides, the dragons here like cold food." she said.

"Alright rouge, lets go to aretis." He told her

"alright. you want to fly there, or do you want a taxi?" Rouge asked with a grin.
"a taxi would be nice, but i can teleport myself." Electra said.
"yeah, that worked out great when we ended up at Slean's lair insteado f the ice kingdom." Firefly said.
"ok, so i haven't exactly mastered it. point is, i can teleport."

"hmmm Alright rouge teleport us there, and electra we'll have to train about your teleporting power." He said to her as he just nodded at rouge.

Aretis shook his head. "No thanks. I'll be fine." He sighed. His muscles were stiff and sore.

"alright then, one cosmic taxi coming up." Rouge winked. she grabbed Firefly, Electra, and Tundra, and then teleported back to Aretis and the nurse.

"ok." the nurse said. she then looked to see the others. "Aretis, your friends are here." she smiled.

Aretis blinked. "Hiyas...It's nice to see you're all okay." He said reassured.

"hey. yeah, we're fine." Firefly smiled. "glad to see you're ok." she added.
"yeah, ditto." Electra added with a smile.
"would any of you like something to eat?" the nurse offered.
"uh, no thanks. i rather my food not be cold." Rouge said with a slight snicker.

Aretis looked down sadly, and got up from his cot. He stumbled at first, but managed to walk out of the infirmary and kept walking until he was outside the palace.

"hey, Aretis, where are you going?" Firefly asked as she followed him.

"Hey aretis where are you going!"

Aretis stopped at the same tree again. He looked down sadly.

"Come on rouge!" He told her as he ran after him.

Rouge ran after Tundra, as well as Firefly.
"wait for me!" Electra called, racing after them.

Aretis sighed and leaned his head against the tree.

"Areits whats wrong?" he asked him worried.

Aretis sighed. "I-I put them all in danger...it's all my fault..." He muttered.

"You put who in what danger?" he asked him as he put a wing over him trying to comfort him.

Aretis shrugged it off taking a step away. "How could I? Why would they fight for me? Why did you fight for a stranger?" Aretis asked Tundra.

"Why? Because as prince, my duty is to protect my people and those who are in danger thats why." he told him.

"But...I'm not your people...I'm not your kind." Aretis said.

"Of course your my kind, your a dragon arent you?" he told him.

"Aretis, you were in trouble, and needed help. that's all we needed to know to help you." Firefly said.
"yeah, we couldn't just let those dark dragons get you, now could we?" Rouge added.
"and dragons like that should be stopped anyway." Electra said.

Aretis smiled sadly. "I guess so. Thank you for helping." He sighed.

"your welcome." Rouge said, cracking a smile.
"what's wrong?" Electra asked.
"yeah, you seem kinda down..." Firefly said.

A tear rolled down Aretis's cheek. "It's time for me to say...goodbye..." He said softly.

"what?" Electra asked.
"why?" Rouge added.
"yeah, you don't have to go." Firefly said.

Aretis smiled. "It's my destiny. To wander to the ends of this world. Those dark dragons will never stop chasing me. They'll always come back. Always hungry for my blood. My mission is to survive, and maybe, try to find whoever else that survived. Plus, I'd be putting this area...this beautiful place you guys can call home...in danger."

"who says its someone's destiny to wander around all by themselves. that's a rotten destiny, if you ask me. talk about lonesome and boring. i mean, there's always gonna be evil out there. why try to avoid it? just look the evil right in the eye, and prepare to fight. that's what you do. you fight 'em and defeat 'em. then you get back to your life and wait for the next one to come." Rouge said.
"i'd have to agree actually. i mean, that's what my ancestors did. they lived thier lives, fought evil, saved the world, and then went back to thier lives." Firefly said.
"i had a normal life before my family was killed. personally, i'd like to see the dark dragons all end up dead. together, we could stop them." Electra added.

Aretis closed his eyes and another tear rolled down. "What about all the innocent bystanders that will get hurt. I could battle them alone...and I'd lose. No army could stand up to the dark dragons. They always come back in bigger numbers and stronger armies. Their leader wants me. Because I hold something precious to him. If he gets it...let's just say the world will become unbalanced between good and evil. And good isn't the one who gets stronger." Aretis warned.
