Well, I was trying out a new shading style, one that I've seen used by lots of people, so I decided to try it. KALLUW's (a.k.a Blumay X3) speedpaint of the pic she drew me helped me figure out how to shade the drawing. I actually think it turned out pretty well, though Lazuli's shading seems to be a little bit better than Tex's. I am proud of the background too, it was my first try- I think -of something like that and I think it ended out nice. And yes, I did look at a few reference pictures to get the trees, water and rocks done better though I don't think the water ended out as well as I planned it to be.

As you can see, Tex has decided to take Lazuli out into the bush, well you can't really see that exactly but you can see him leading her through the bush, or forest as some of you would call it. And look, they have crossed a stream, I thought cats hated water. These two must want to cool down because in the bush it does get kinda hot. I guess it is as hot as it is here in there, and it is really hot here and it is only Spring!
Why are they glancing at each other like that? LOL

I agree. But the people in my class, who are like 12 and stuff, have boyfriends and stuff too. It is really annoying, and my Tech teacher likes to pair us up together.

Yeah, daimond, I love that show still. I watched it again today at my dad's house. I recorded it on my USB from the set-top box. The only downside is that they take up a lot of space.
If you have a Doltec (I think that's how you spell it) Digital Set-Top Box that has a USB plug in it, I can put the eps I've got on my USB on Mediafire and you can download them. :3

These are some of my old, traditional pictures I've been meaning to upload but I forgot to put them back on my USB. My step-dad had used my sister's USB (the one I put these two pictures on) for movies because his USB broke. So he deleted everything on the USB, including pictures and two episodes of..... you know ...... that I hadn't saved to the computer along with these two pictures. I was devastated about it and I............ cried a bit.

This was a little picture I did when I was in trouble in my room awhile ago. I got very depressed and I drew this. You can see Lazuli is me there (this was before I came up with Starrbit as being me) and Tex, who is like a spirit or a figment of Lazuli's imagination, show how alone I am... Or was when this happened.
I'd rather not talk about what happened.

Just a quick little drawing I did of Lazuli and Tex. And I probably know what you are thinking.... they are NOT in love. Lazuli MIGHT have eyes for someone else that I haven't mentioned on here, but not for Tex. More will be explained in their story so try not to ask questions that might spoil it.
In this piccy, Lazuli was just upset because *spoiler* and Tex wanted to cheer her up. It will be explained in the first few chapters of the story. :3

Yay, finally a picture of Starrbit for ya'll!
Yep, Starrbit is my cat form because I ended up ditching Dawn and Lazuli just isn't me, ya'know?
I am quite proud of this picture, I was inspired by this picture I saw and decided to give the shading style a go. Yes I still used my style of drawing cats when I gave realism a try but I just love using my style. But you can see some more realistic features I used here that I don't use in my other cat drawings that aren't meant to be realistic; like the whiskers and muzzle. And yup, Starrbit also has hair, it is around the length of Lazuli's but I wasn't bothered to put it in this picture. She also has this thing around her right leg but I wasn't bothered to put that in either.
