It is severely over-hyped but by no means a horrible show. It usually has strong main plots but suffers from charisma vaccuum of a supporting cast and filler sub-plots. But I can see the reasons why it is not everybody's cup of tea.

Undertale is a great game, though. People only dislike it because they associate it with cringey children. I'm guilty of this, too, but I've learned to start growing out of that retarded mindset.

Why are you letting fandoms get to you anyway? Basically any given fanbase has some level of cancer to it. Why should that matter whether or not you can enjoy something you like? Just ignore them; watch it and like it because you like it. Yeah, the bad will give a bad name to something, but it doesn't automatically mean you can't like it. Just means you have to accept that not everyone automatically will and may set a slight bias against it, still doesn't ruin your personal enjoyment if you stay out of all of it.

Sitting here throwing a fit over said fanbase and acting like the show itself is crap for it doesn't make you any better. If anything, it just serves to ruin things further as you're making it sound like no one is allowed to like it and furthering the problem by trying to fight cringe with petty. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Pokémon. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical player’s head. There’s also Nebby’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into their characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from not getting in the bag, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Pokémon truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Nebby’s existential catchphrase “Pew,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Lillie wanting Nebby to get in the bag. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Satoshi Tajiri’s genius wit unfolds itself on their 3DS screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Pokémon tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

I guess Mordred is kind of original? He's used similarly to the characters in the Percy Jackson series - although he's intended to be the selfsame character from Arthurian myth, he's been slightly modified to fit in with the current situations occuring within his story.

Meanwhile, Mephisto is very different to his myth equivalent. Although he is designed to be the trickster among my villains, I do not intend for him to have any connections to the real Mephistopheles. It is merely a namesake.

Damn. Looks like EOV is coming out on the 3rd after all. On the other hand, I was able to pick up Superstar Saga recently. So I guess I'll play that while I'm waiting, as well as maybe FE, TLoZ, and Kirby games.

I can usually beat FEA in just over 2 hours, so replaying that is almost certain. Doesn't take much time.

I still remember that story I made, which was originally intended to be a Skylanders fanfiction of sorts. I was going to post it here.

But now, I think that I could take that story idea, modify it to no longer have any Skylanders references, and add it to Project King. It hardly had any connections with Skylanders in the first place, that was mainly used because of how most of the lore was already created for me (like the Arkeyans, which played a central role in the story).

Now, I've created enough lore in Project King to use my own ideas - Skylanders integration will no longer be necessary to create the atmosphere I wanted, just as long as it takes place later on in the project. It certainly cannot be near the beginning, although the idea doesn't make an early entry likely anyway.

I've finished listing most of the ideas to be included in Project King so far, about 15-20 entries in total. Most of the timeline I have in mind is quite straightforward, although Waves and Blood & Thunder will likely introduce some interesting subplots. Perhaps I could use them as the Connection?

Regardless, I really should use them for the Hidden Connections, if not the main Connection. I do not like the idea of making the twist(s) become obvious, I'd rather let the viewers try and work them out themselves, like fan theories.

Given the nature of the ideas of Waves and Blood & Thunder, I think there will be a lot of things that viewers will fail to recognize. This makes sneaking Hidden Connections in even easier.

Perhaps there could be a direct link between Waves and Blood & Thunder? No, I'm not sure I like that idea. The main Connection should be obvious from early on - that all entries take place on a timeline of sorts - but directly linking ideas like those together may not work well.

But then again, the idea for the timeline is quite basic at this moment. Anything could change.
