The dark dragon chasing Electra dodged the bolts and put on more speed, catching up to Electra

Aretis's barrier disappeared and the foul wind blew into them, blackening their vision. Aretis's scales shone brightly as Aretis charged into the darkness. he felt something run at him and quickly moved left, dodging one of the spheres. Aretis got a small glimpse at the first dark dragon, but a sphere of darkness hit him, sending him reeling. Aretis made a lucky shot and shot a beam of light, hitting the dark dragon squarely on the forhead and breaking his skull. Aretis felt the breath taken out of him as he hit the ground. Aretis breathed in the poisoned air accidentally and felt the poison take root. Aretis coughed and shut his mouth, so no more could come in. He madly flapped his wings, trying to dispell the foul cloud now.

Tundra: *just nodded at her and chuckled abit too as she said that.* Never judge a book by its cover rouge you should know that.... Anyways let me help you.... although I'll proabably regret this... now hold still.. *he told her as he hit her neck gently to relieve her the paralyzing effects on her.*

Electra glanced back, seeing the dragon start to catch up. then more eletricity flowed through her, charging her, and making her stronger. as the electricity flowed, she ran faster. the more the electricity flowed, the faster she could run. she ran so fast that her legs were like blurrs, and she looked like a yellow streak when she ran.

Firefly held her breath, trying not to open her mouth to breathe in any poison. she wasn't sure exactly what Aretis was doing, but she hoped his plan would work soon.

Tundra: Well you can get up now rouge you'll be fine. *he told her as he looked at her*

Rouge got up, and stretched out, grinning at being able to mvoe again.
"great. thanks. now to find that little runt and teach her a lesson." she said.

"Uh no!" He told her as tripped her and held her down with his paw. "She was defending herself, dont go there rouge..."

"uh, Tundra, i just meant i'd tell her not to paralyze me, since i'm not going to hrut her. i have no reason to. besides, i may be after her, but not in the same way the other dragons are." she said.

"Yeah uh huh, well you used the wrong of choice words there rouge, thats why i did what I did. Relax, we'll go together." He told her as he let her go.

Rouge got up, and sighed.
"whatever. lets just find her fast before someone else gets to her." she said. she then closed her eyes a moment. "i sense her. oh, crap. there's a dragon after her. i knew this would happen. i have to get her before he does, or who knows what will happen to her." she said, opening her eyes.

"Alright well lets go now!!" He said as he flapped his wings and took off quickly.

Rouge nodded, and flew after him. she flapped her wings harder, flying past him.
"come on! we have to hurry!" she said.

Electra kept running, using her electricity to run faster, still appearing to be a yellow streak.

Tundra flapped his wings harder so he could keep up with rouge as they raced to catch up towards the little dragon.

Electra then stretched out her wings and began flapping, flying upwards. she almost looked like a bolt of lightening, shooting up from the ground to the sky.
Rouge noticed this.
"hey, look!" she said, pointing. "i bet that's her! either that, or lightening bolts shoot up from the ground now." she said.

"Whoa! Ok I think I can do something but I'll have to get closer to her" He told her as flew towards the lightning bolt.

Dark dragon #2 growled as he saw himself losing ground. Then he had an idea. He gathered as much dark energy as he could and then launched a missile up into the air and watched it come down about a half a mile away. A giant explosion rocked the forest and the shockwave started demolishing eveyrhting in it's path. Electra was heading into it. The Dark Dragon smiled. "Try to dodge that you speedy runt!"

Aretis used light and cleared the foul mist by pushing it upward with his wings. Aretis laid on the ground exhausted and poisoned. He got up weakly. The dark dragon made his call ready again.

Electra saw the shockwave, and felt fear well up in her. the electricity died down, and then she randomly teleported away from the shockwave.
"woah!" Rouge cried out, seeing Electra vanish, and then seeing the shockwave. "yikes!" she said, then started to teleport, but looked around for Tundra. "Tundra! we have to get away from here!" she said. she then teleported to him. "give me your paw, and i'll get us out of here!" she said.
Electra had teleported back on the ground, near Aretis, Firefly, and the dark dragon. she looked around seeing them. she saw that Aretis and Firefly were in trouble. then electricity flowed through her again, and she rushed over to help.

"Oh.....*groans* dang.... my headhurts...." He said as he looked around for rouge.

Rouge grabbed Tundra and teleported him to the ground near the others.
"you ok?" she asked.

Dark dragon #2 laughed evily thinking he had destroyed that little pest and flew back to help his comrade.

Aretis looked over to Firefly, his eyes barely opening. "You can breathe now..." He said weakly. His scales were turning greenish and ugly, signs of his poisoning. Aretis's vision blurred, but he saw the dark dragon and rushed at him. Just before the dark dragon made his call, Aretis banged into him with light streaming all around, but the light was weaker. it was just enough to topple the dragon off balance, but Aretis crumpled up from the impact and laid there exhausted and barely breathing. His green spines turned greyer and yucky colored.

"Yeah....I'm ok.....Ugh... where's?" He then saw aretis looking rather weak as he looked at rouge quickly. "Oh no aretis!! Alright I'll take care of the dragon. You go get aretis and make sure he's well." he told her.

"right." Rouge nodded. she then rushed over to help Aretis. "Firefly, i could use some help here!" she called. Firefly took a breath of air, relieved to be able to breateh again, and then helped Rouge. Electra came out of seemingly nowhere, and fired lightening bolts at the dragon, while Rouge and Firefly rushed to Aretis to help him.

Dark Dragon #1 stepped in front of them grinning evily. "Looks like your friend doesn't have a lot of time left. Humph good riddance." He shot dark beams at Tundra, Rogue and Firefly and Electra.

Dark Dragon #2 heard fighting and zoomed faster to help dark dragon #1

Rouge saw the dark beams and quickly teleported, reappearing after they were gone. Firefly jumped to the side, barely dodging. however, Electra was not so lucky. she was hit, and sent flying backwards.
"Electra!" Firefly rushed to help her up. she then looked at Aretis. "Rouge, get him out of here now!" she called. Rouge nodded. she then teleported to Aretis.

Tundra ran towards the dark dragon#1 throwing ice shards at him while charging.

Dark dragon #1 whipped his tail around and deflected the ice shards, then used the momentum still gained to swing his tail back at Rogue to keep her away from Aretis.

Dark dragon #2 was almost to the clearing, until he was hit by the flying Electra and his momentum was stopped cold.

Tundra jumped in the air and spun forwards using the momentum to use his tail and hit the dark dragon#1 in the head square on.

Rouge was knocked back, but jumped back up. she rushed to Aretis, and grabbed him.
"i'll take Aretis somewhere safe, and come back for you guys." she said.
"no, you need to stay with him and protect him! just go!" Firefly insisted. then Rouge nodded and teleported away with Aretis. she teleported to the ice kingdom, and took Aretis to the infirmary for healing.
Electra growled, and then fired lightening at dark dragon #2. Firefly glowed yellow, and backed her up with more lightening bolts.

Dark dragon #1 stumbled back and fell from Tundra's hit he growled as he saw that Aretis was gone.

Dark dragon #2 was paralyzed and stunned. Badly.

Aretis's eyes were turning glassy. His scales were now brittle and cracked, breaking off.

"Guys fall back fall back, get electra out of here and head back home." He called out to them as he threw a crystal shard at the downed dragon and it began to crystalize her feet.

Rouge stayed by Aretis's side, while a female ice dragon tried to heal him with her powers.

Electra continued to hit the dark dragon with electricity. then Firefly glowed green, and began spitting acid at the dragon.

The dark dragon #1 called to his teammate. "Our prey is gone. Let's regroup. Vrathx is probably dead." He sneered at Tundra and then took off.

dark dragon #2 was electrified again and too stunned to move.

Aretis laid still. A green fluid trickled out of his mouth.

"Guys I said FALL BACK!!!!" He yelled out at them as he saw the dragons retreating.

"come on, lets go!" Firefly said to Electra.
"wait, maybe i can teleport us!" she said. Firefly nodded.
"try it then." she said. then Electra grabbed her, and teleported away.

Rouge contiued to stay with Aretis in the infrimary.

"whoa....ok I got to get used to teleporting anyways... I think they might be in the infermary. Come on lets go." he told them as he flew towards it.

Electra grabbed Firefly and Tundra, and attempted to teleport them to the ice kingdom, but she teleported them to Slean's lair by accident. Firefly looked around.
"Slean's lair?! you can't teleport us to a better place?!" Firefly asked.
"it was an accident!" Electra said.
"who dares enter my lair?!" Slean roared as her figure emerged from the shadows.

"Oh boy.... uh hi mom" He said as he tried to cover for his friends.

Slean looked surprised.
"Tundra? and Firefly? what do you two wa--" she stopped when she saw Electra. "Electra? you brought her to me?" she asked, surprised and confsued.
"what? no! we teleported here on accident! you're not taking her!" Firefly growled.
"so.... she can teleport....." Slean muttered to herself.
"wait, you..... know who i am....?" Electra asked, confused.
"why of course, child. i have been searching for you. you are home at last." she smiled.
"home?!" both girls asked, shocked.

"Wait wait wait.... what do you mean home mom? Are you trying to trick us?" tundra said putting his paw in front of firefly to tell her to calm down.

"no, there are no tricks at all. i mean what i say. Electra is home at last. you see, i am her aunt. Tundra, you and Rouge are her cousions. Electra, your father was my brother. ah, you look just like him, too." Slean said.
"wait, she's related to you? but she doesn't seem evil at all." Firefly said.
"i never said she was evil. i simply said she was family. after all, my brother wasn't evil. he was a good electric dragon, but he was no ordinary dragon. he had other abilities, such as, teleportation, invisibility, cloning, he could pass through walls, he had super speed, and of course as a family trait, he could control the element of poison. there has not been a single dragon in our family that could not control poison."
"so..... i'm part poison dragon....?" Electra asked.
"why of course, dear. and i plan to train you in that element, along with your other powers." she said with a grin.
"no tricks? you won't turn her evil or anything?" Firefly asked.
"goodness, no. i was simply asked by my brother to look after her. i had no intention of corrupting her. she is not of my direct lineage. plus, my brother said not to."

"hmmm ok question mom, um why couldnt you tell me of this before sending a squad of dragons after her!!!" he said to her angerly.

"i did not send an entire squad. i only sent one, and i asked for his return for a diffrent task. i decided to have Rouge find her and bring her here, but i never expected this."
"wait, if you only sent one dragon, then where did all the others come from that attacked my family?" Electra asked.
"i do not know. but i do know i am not the only dragon with black dragons for minions."
"so, you really didn't attack her?" Firefly asked.
"no, of course not. she is my neice, and i had no intention of hurting her."

"Oh boy....great now im more worried for aretis's safety..... Mom you sure have a funny way of sending for someone to get someone. Anyways next time mom, im your son you can count on me too for things. And..wait im part electricity too?"

Slean looked at him and grinned a bit.
"yes, technically, you are also part electricity, but it does not you mean possess that element. after all, i do not think Rouge does. she at least has not shown signs of it." she said. she then sighed. "i will keep your offer in mind, Tundra. but there are some things i would not think to ask you to do."
"so..... does this mean...... i'm evil.....?" Electra asked.
"no, of course not. i assume you are like your father, and he was not the least bit evil. my parents wanted to corrupt him as well, but......... his will was too strong...... he simply refused to be evil, and he ran off on his own........ he left when he was only ten, and i was eight....... i never saw him again after that, until recently, when i heard of where he was staying, and went to visit him...... but i was too late...... he was mortally wounded by a dark dragon, and his dying wish was that i find you and take care of you......" she explained.

"Well mom, your as I just said my mom and as odd as this may sound to you. I do love you even tho you might feel differently about me but I would help you or try to...But that would explain why I was able to hmm uhh not get affected by electras attacks by much." He then heard what slean said about electras dad and turned to look at her. "What he's dying?"

Aretis vomited coughing, he tried to get up. The nurse's efforts seemed to be helping.

Slean looked at Tundra, sadness showing through some.
"my brother is in the infrimary now. his mate and his friends are all dead. after discovering his lcoation, i went to see him, and found him mortally wounded. i teleported him here, where my minions are trying to heal him. but i fear the worst. he has not gained consciousness since he passed out after telling me to find Electra." she said, voice quieter now.
"will he live?" Firefly asked.
"i don't know. and if he does, surely the ones behind this will not stop in thier assualt. they will find him and make sure he is dead, along with Electra. it is now my job to ensure that doesn't happen." she said, determined.
"but...... i thought you were evil.....?" Electra muttered.
"dark i may be, but heartless i am not. whether we like it or not, young one, we are family, and i will not allow anyone to harm you, good or evil." she said, more determination showing through.

After a while. Aretis settled down. His scales had turned...normal. He weakly opened his eyes. "Wh-where am I?" He groaned.

"you're in the ice castle's infirmary. how are you feeling?" Rouge said.
"he should be fine now, Miss Rouge. but i suggest he rest for now." the healer said.

Aretis got up. "I gotta--" he started.

the dragoness eased him back down.
"you should rest. even though i healed you, you should rest before running off somewhere."
"she's right, Aretis. its not a good idea to go back out there, especially with those dark dragons after you." Rouge said.
