Sorry for not being as active as I used to. These past few months have been difficult for me. I had a relative pass away and I've been searching for work to no avail. I haven't been able to access my PC as often and darkSpyro lags so much on my phone to the point where it's almost impossible to form a simple post.

Despite all this, I finally had a job interview on Friday morning and was informed later that day that I was successful. I'll be employed as a laboratory technician assisting in COVID-19 testing. It's a 24 hour roster and most of the shifts start late at night, so don't expect to see me here too often.


hey that is a wonderful job to have from someone who has had it and is at risk if contracting it more than once I just want to pre-thank you for helping out in the field of COVID research.

you have the correct formatting for your links, but just use "url" inside the brackets instead of the website name.

I left for years after I unfortunately lost my entire collection of Skylanders and was too devastated to start over again and gave up. Take note this was before Swap Force even was announced. I ended up finding the one skylander I wanted more than any other about two years ago though, Gnarly Tree Rex at a thrift store and picked him up although I didn't have any of the games anymore because I couldn't pass it up. Then a few months back I found a loose copy of giants for 99 cents at goodwill and figured I'd grab it even though I could play it, and then three weeks ago I found a portal for two bucks and now I'm back at it.
I only have a few figs atm and two of them are superchargers although I haven't gotten the game yet, and I've ordered a good amount of characters on line for about a buck a piece that have yet to come in. I've also picked up swap force and Spyro's Adventure for practically pennies as well as a couple more portals. Specifically swap force and the blue tooth one. But alas after all that it's ended up being a long road that has lead me back here.

We need to. The place is nearly dead now compared to how it was back when Skylanders was still booming. Those were the good old days. Sadly a couple of my old friends from here were permanently banned which came as a shock to me.

SadVlad, your story is absolutely devastating. I'm not a Skylanders fan, but all it takes is compassion to know that losing a collection is horrible. I'm glad to see you're working on it again; I completely understand the feeling of just wanting to give up, but it's good that you're starting it up again, for sure. :-)

You're completely right. I actually found the site even before that, but yeah, the forum was still active for a while when Skylanders was going on. A lot of the users are gone now, unfortunately, so yeah, it's good to see oldies like us coming back in.

Yeah, that definitely happened to me, alright. I just had some free time recently so I decided to come back to the forum and reconnect with my old friends. Life definitely keeps getting crazy, but hopefully I can hang around for a while this time.
