Other than that, a major issue is the plot with having to go to school. The reason they have for Alola's rules and Ash being forever 10 is justifiable under normal circumstances, but Ash has a good 52 badges, 7 Frontier Symbols, is Orange League Champion, and can become a Hoenn Frontier Brain whenever he so desires. He should fully be capable of testing out of school or overall being exempt as he should know more than what the school will teach from his previous travels and be allowed to journey normally. It also creates a point with too many companions with Sophacles, Lilie, Kiawe, Lana, Mallow, and to an extent, the RotomDex and Kukui all being companions for his misadventures in addition to the occasional "character of the week" type which has more people than normal to keep track of and can deter some focus from the actual star. This is roughly double the previous record of characters in "Team Twerp" which was only 4 in Hoenn & Kalos.

Who knows? Maybe since Ash actually goes to school, he won't be stupid anymore.

The SM animation is focused a lot more on the facial expressions and body language of all the characters than any of the previous arcs.

I mean... look at this stuff.

These aren't fan creations. They're actually in the show. And no one is safe from them at the moment, except Gladion. The big problem people have is that SuMo takes the form of a slice of life comedy that's focused mostly on slapstick. And after the more epic,
shonen-esque XY&Z, it's a big shock to everyone's systems.

In my opinion, I think one of the reasons why SM's art style change is to appeal a Western, mainly American Audience. It's look is more Western than most other animes, and insane reaction faces are very common in American cartoons.

I'm fine with the animation, but as you said, one of the main problems is that it followed XYZ. I just find the series boring since it focuses way too much on school. From the few episodes I've watched it seems to be:

To be honest, I never really enjoyed Nate's gaming videos. I personally subscribed to his channel for his music and nothing else really. Though it does suck to see him finally say he's officially done since he's been back and forth about everything but music and I know a lot of people found him through his gaming content.

He does LPs and Top 10/5s, nothing out of the ordinary. He comes from an old group(OLD, 2008 or less) of youtubers, I think it was called the Chaos Theatre, and they were pretty much the people to put these videos on the map before WatchMojo and friends **** all over it with not even half the effort they used to make skits and good research. I think he and Joshscorcher are the only ones still doing them, the rest moved on to other themes.

I really liked the new Rick and Morty episode. The humor was really good and I loved the concept. Definitely the best episode so far. The concept of Rick being both the hero and the villain yet still different people was a really clever idea, and I liked how we actually saw some progression between Morty and Jessica, which I before thought was going to go nowhere other than Morty's fantasies.

My heart literally melted when Toxic Rick was holding his dying Toxic Morty and said "You're going to be okay. Grandpa's here."

Just been browsing through some old medical advertisements on the internet (I often google something and unexpectedly go on a three hour journey when I'm supposed to do something else) and I came across this:

Normally this stuff doesn't phase me at all, but even I'm disturbed and that's saying a lot. It's an old public service ad about driving whilst tense.
