"Alright! Enough introductions. Qwark, we really need to get a move on..." Ratchet said annoyed. At this point, he would be happy to let Godzilla or Springtrap attack him.
"We're already here, my fuzzy, long-eared friend! Clank is inside figuring out what those things are," he replied.
Ratchet ran inside and looked around for his best friend.
"Hello Ratchet," was the simple greeting.
"Clank! Sorry I didn't get back sooner, I was transported into all these dimensions and-" he began as he kneeled down beside him.
"I have already figured that out. Your Nav-Unit was displaying strange interdiminsional properties, so I guessed that rift had something to do with the invasion."
"Invasion? This place is practically empty!"
"They attacked most of Polaris, but then they all retreated to the Court of Azimuth, on this planet. I am currently trying to find out why and what they are..."
"We, know what they are," Ratchet gestured to the group outside.

Springtrap walked up behind Ratchet and looked at Clank, "THIS is Clank? I expected him to at least be my size."

"Well hello to you too," Clank replied, uncertain if he should trust Springtrap.
"Heheh, it would of been really hard to save the univers of that was the case... Clank's a zoni robot, of course he's small."
Clank was uncomfortable with the conversation, "let's just concentrate on our main objective. So what do you know of these creatures so far?"

"They're cold-hearted and ugly, that's for sure," Xsavior said, walking out from behind Ratchet. "My name is Xsavior... The erm.. Dead child..."

Takeshi looked around at the group. It seemed to him strange that they reacted so angrily to the phrase specimen. Especially since in their own dimensions the others would probably be considered freaks. His thoughts where interrupted by Ruby squealing excitedly and running towards Clank.

"oh my god, you are just like tank from the game, size voice and everything! I am so excited to meet you, this is a dream come true. To meet ones fictional heroes. And your voice is an exact match, oooooh say something again!" The Yamanaka stared expectantly at the small robot.

Clank looked at Ratchet for help. When he purposefully started flicking through his arsenal, Clank knew he wasn't going to help.
"I am honoured that you think that Miss...?" He hinted at what her name is.

"Oh, Yamanaka" Ruby answered "Ruby Yamanaka, is my name and helping is my game" she then pointed to the young Uchiha "and he is-" "ashamed" Takeshi interrupted "that you can't keep your fangirling to a minimum in times like these. I am Takeshi Uchiha, of the Uchiha clan. If you haven't heard of us prepare to be impressed. Just ask your cat-friend. He will let you know."

"Lombax" Ruby corrected before turning back to Clank "yeah sorry about that, its just you are a video game character in my dimension and I am a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge fan. Anyways, forget about him he is just moody because he hasn't had anything besides food pills in over a month" Ruby said. "Food pills aren't that bad" Takeshi defended "Beyond this ones lunacy lets get to the point."

"They seem to me to be creatures of darkness. They show a weakness to light style attacks, at least to my experience. Not only that they have taken a liking to the idea of possession and in some instances re-animation. When I could see, it seemed like their energies converged on a central location after being defeated, probably powering either the main lark or the generator. Although it seems that the higher ups of their species seems to be weaker, although it is not unheard of for them to have combat prowess" Takeshi broke down his assumed knowledge of the creatures "I could be wrong on several of these accounts since different dimension's physics work differently. For example on method may work in one dimension but not the other due to the make of the dimension and the rules it abides by."

Ratchet mumbled to himself about being called a cat... Again...
Clank nodded at Takeshi's explanation, "these... Larks... Are more dangerous then I originally thought..."
"I could beat them up in no time!" Qwark said from somewhere in the room.
"We are going to have to be extremely careful when engaging combat with them. Ratchet, we need to follow them to the court of azimuth."

Dalados was extremely confused by Ruby's behaviour, "Um, miss Yamanaka, whT is a video game?" he asked

Xsavior looked at Dalados, "Are you serious right now?" He asked.

"The larks seem to be highly advanced. Like me! And Clank, you we AWESOME in that one game. Anyway, Takeshi is right. All dimensions are different, so the respective larks act differently. The ones in here might be different then say, mine. We gotta find out where they come from, and hopefully we kick their butt in their dimension. This one is....strange. Rachet, you have some wierd friends."

"Oh he's not my-" Ratchet began before Clank interrupted.
"Qwark is just a... Difficult companion..."
The 'superhero' didn't seem to hear him thankfully.

"Oh. I know what you mean. So, got any plans on where the generator would be?"

"Generator?"
"Oh yeah! In order to feed off life forces, the larks use a machine to drain the life out of the dimension. They use these generators to do that," Ratchet cleared him up.
"Oh, in that case, it could be inside the Court of Azimuth... I might be wrong, but that's where they all are," Clank said.
"Alright! Let's set out for the Court then shall we?"
Qwark heard them and ran over with his loaded blaster, "I'm all set cadets! Nothing to fear, because Captain Copernicus L. Qwark will save the day once again!"
"Err, Qwark? You don't have to come..."
"Nonsense! Now come along, we have some monsters to hunt."
Ratchet hissed "damn it..."

Xsavior was an angel, so he could feel when evil was around, "They're nearby... I can feel it." Xsavior said. "Almost like they're.... Watching us...."

"Yay!! More stuff to kill!" Oswald said, pulling out the remote.

Ruby deadpanned at captain Quarks attitude "You're annoying" she said aloud.

Takeshi ignored the events and decided to share what he had seen when he could see "Different dimensions obviously work differently. These Larks are adapted for traveling through different dimensions. When I could use my sharingan I could tell the make up of each dimension was different, even in our bodies there where slight changes. Usually not enough to make difference but they where there. I suppose these larks use that as an advantage to keep us guessing" The Uchiha explained following Ratchet and Clank. He then turned his attention to Ratchet "Maybe we should activate that jammer to prevent from being detected."

Ruby heard Dalados's question "oh, its like a movie, but you are the main character, and you got to beat quests, and get stuff, and save the galaxy" She then turned back to Ratchet "Did you really do all those things?"

A lark jumped out at Xsavior from behind and went right through him, "Lesson learned," Xsavior said, looking at the lark. "Never try to tackle a soul." Xsavior summoned ghost chains and tied the lark to a rock. "Where is the generator?" He asked.

"Oh cool, yes I know movies..." he then turned to Qwark and thought, "Reminds me of Cpt. kirk" then he turned around, "Where'd he.come from?" he askes Xsaviour

"He tried to tackle me, but he just went right through me," Xsavior said.

Qwark either ignored Ruby, or didn't know the statement was directed at himself... probably the latter.

Ratchet thought for a moment, "Well, if that includes stopping Drek from destroying Veldin, preventing 'Dr Fizzwidget' (AKA Qwark) from releasing protopets into the galaxy, foiling Dr Nefarious's plans to turn everyone into robots..."
He went on about stopping Tachyon, Darkwater, Nefarious... again and a few other things, ", then yes, I did."

Clank sighed at his friend's boasting, "If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have even considered saving the galaxy."
"Hehe... that's... true..."
When the unexpected lark attack was over, Ratchet pulled out his combustor, "hey pal? I need to restock, contact me when you're in trouble."
"Will do," he replied.
Ratchet then ran off to find a Grummelnet Vendor.

"so whats the plan" Ruby asked Clank "where are we going?"

"Yeah. That Rachet..."

The lark wouldn't talk, so Xsavior blew wind on his face and the impact exploded the lark.

((From now on, I'm going to control most of the larks in this dimension (I have a plan) but when we get into a battle, you can control the larks that attack you. ))

"We're heading to the Court of Azimuth and we will wait for Ratchet there," Clank replied.
"And I will take you there!" Qwark stated before he ran off to the Court.
"We might as well follow... He won't last long on his own," Clank said, shaking his head.

Godzilla woke up and dashed to the group.

Oswald ran also." Great....."

Godzilla looked at the group."Uhh what happened?"

"Nothing, just the usual lark attack," Ryu growled sarcastically. "Anyway, we have a plan, so why not put it in action?"

Malachite was acting depressed. Eva-01 was ready to go forward with the plan. "Tell us what it is?"

"What exactly is the Court of Azimuth?" Takeshi inquired.

"It's an old lombax citadel that was designed by General Azimuth of the praetorian guard," Clank explained.
"It's also where Tachyon was defeated! I still can't believe you didn't tell me to come..." Qwark added.
Clank ignored him.
Their destination came into sight soon after. However, no larks were inhabiting the area.
"Odd... I detect high levels of energy inside... Could it be this generator you mentioned?"

"Perhaps" Takeshi said simply, feeling a little relieved to have another member of the team who wasn't completely insane. "Ooooooh, this will be like another awesome adventure" Ruby exclaimed further driving in the Uchiha's point.

"Something seems wrong though..."
Then Ratchet returned, throwing and catching a grenade, "we should still check it out, just in case."
"Ratchet, put that away before you accidentally blow us up," Clank scolded at his immaturity.
"Fine..."
Qwark approached the entrance while the others weren't looking. He looked around inside before calling, "Hey! It's safe!"
Ratchet face palmed and walked over to him in anoyance, "you know if you get captured, I'm not rescuing you..."
"Who says I need rescuing?"
The three stood just outside the entrance, not daring to enter.

"I will take point if that is fine" Takeshi volunteered "Hikari is itching for a dance." He stepped forward, putting himself in front of the group in order to make himself an obstacle where something to happen. He held his scabbard in his left hand and inched it open so it would be quicker to draw. Taking the hint Ruby made a hand sign to enhance his senses in case of any actual combat.

The young Uchiha inched his way into the court wary of what would lie in there. Although, the darkness did not affect him as he could not see at the moment anyways.

"I think you will do great in there! Ratchet, I believe you should help our friend here," Qwark said.
"I don't know if that's a good ideaAARGH!" Ratchet yelps as Qwark slapped him on the back, causing him to fall forward next to Takeshi, "ow..."
Suddenly, the steel door shut, separating the two groups. Not only that, but a laser grid activated all the way around the Court.
"You've got to be kidding me!"

Meanwhile outside, Qwark nervously scratched the back of his head, "err, that wasn't supposed to happen..."
"Ratchet! Can you hear me?" Clank called out.
"Yeah! We're fine... For now..."

Ratchet activated his light and looked around the room. In its centre was a generator.

Springtrap banged his hand againest the steel door. "Yeah, it's not coming down any time soon." He said.

"Great. Hey Springtrap? Say, we break in?"

"That's impossible with the laser grid on," Clank stated, "we will have to dissable it."
"Can you do that? I don't see any off switch..." Qwark said.

Godzilla blasted the door.

"great" Takeshi said sarcastically "When I get out of here-" He mumbled on about some big chin freak and violent occurrences.

The young Uchiha was at a major disadvantage, not only was he unable to see, but his assistant in that situation was on the other side of the door. He could still sense the life forces on this side which was good, but if he got too far away it could become difficult. He was proud to say that Ruby was a skilled enough shinobi that it was not too much of a problem.

"Ratchet" Takeshi alerted the Lombax "I am going to have Ruby sync up with you so I can see what's going on. This means we can feel each others thoughts. Don't worry its only the things at the top of your head so any secret is safe. It is the technique that is allowing me to detect enemies."

Ruby after hearing this made several hand signs and tried to connect with Ratchet as well.

"Alright, I trust she knows what she's doing..." Ratchet agreed.

The door remained unscathed, "it is futile, this building has been made with Trillium, a rare and powerful ore," Clank told Godzilla, "they should be fine, but I don't think we will be for long," he pointed at a large army of larks heading there way.

"That's not good…" Ryu growled. "Yes, I know, I'm being Captain Obvious, but there's really nothing else to say."

"I can try and disable the lasers..." Xsavior said. He possessed the laser panel and began to work.
