Glare and Voltaire arrived at this time, "Okay, what's going on?" Glare asked as he examined the situation.

"Hey, anything for you buddy" Kihei said as he patted Derrick on the back "Lets take George inside so he can eat when he gets up"

Derrick turned around to face Shade, un able to really talk, he only gave a sorrowful glance. He quickly turned back around to George and proceeded to hoist him onto his back, Was I always this strong? Or is having fed recently giving me more power? he turned about slowly. He made sure he was able to see and move as freely as possible, but was stunned by his own abilities. He had never tried lifting anything larger than a book before, and now he is carrying the one who played both father and brother to him like he was just a throw pillow. Taking up a slow trot, he weaved by those who came over to see what was going on. Derrick only traded glances, his expression was still that of apologetic sorrow.

Kihei helped carry George, even though Derrick was able to on his own "Are you ok buddy?" He asked Derrick

Glare frowned, "Again, what's going on here?" He decided to follow as well.

"He just gave me more than he could handle," Derrick finally spoke, though it was soft yet audible. He was beginning to sense Kihei's affection, though it was not a mate's love, but that of a friend. He had always wanted to be by Derrick's side, helping him if and whenever he could. Flashing back to when they found him outside under the umbrella. His eyes turned to the boy, keeping his head strait as not to discomfort George more than he probably already was. You wish so badly to be like me. Yet... You still don't know how much of a curse this life is. I'm a parasite, I am evil deep down. Under this young exterior, is a monster, raging and clawing to control me. It wants to kill them all and feast on their flesh, to suck them dry and rip them apart, his eyes returned to the front as he came to the throne hall entrance to the library, "He's lost too much blood and passed out, I can feel his heart still beating, but it has slowed some since he fell."

"Then we need to get him healed up, same with my tail" Kihei said with a slight laugh as he helped carry George

"Is it possible to use healing magic to replenish blood?" Derrick questioned as he heard the option of healing. He then snapped to what Shade had just explained, "Derrick went berserk" this echoed in his mind a few times, but he eventually shook it off as he lay George down in an open space in the throne hall.

"Shade, just don't" Kihei said as he looked at George's wounds "Just heal him guys"

OOC: Derrick be like: "AM I THE ONLY ONE WITHOUT HEALING POWERS HERE!?"

Derrick pointed to George who was already placed on the floor of the throne hall(reference last post, *clears throat*), "He seals the bite marks himself and lets them heal naturally," Derrick explained a little, "I mean, unless you can manipulate matter to make blood out of thin air, healing magic may not even help. I believe he just needs to rest, unless someone knows how to boost his bodily functions to produce more blood?"

(Nope, neither Glare nor Voltaire have any, as much as Glare would like to have some. He does know some memory-related magic though.)

Glare and Voltaire waited patiently as Shade did his magic. The duo had wonders about how this happened.

Kihei put his wing over George "Derrick, I know you care about George, but you need to know that I can protect you just as well buddy" He said with a smile

Makil walked out to the hall too "Well, this is interesting now isn't it?" He asked "We should save the heartfelt moment until after the mists are gone" He said

"Then you probably shouldn't have done it," George had been awoken by the magical force his body was introduced to. He sat up some, shaking his head slowly.

"I can say the same for you, you idiot," Derrick replied squeezing one of Georges legs. Settling for a moment, he looked over to Kihei, "I," he froze for a second, "I don't... Know how to thank you," he then heard Makil's comment, "You're right, but this was," he turned to glance at Shade, then George, and back to Makil, Unavoidable."

George steadily, still weakly, stood up as best he could. Walking over to Shade and tossed a wing over his side. Using what strength he could muster, he assisted in making sure he stayed up on his feet, "Keep your head up, control your breathing. Don't need you to hyperventilate, then we'd be really set back," he gave a week, strain filled breath of laughter as he stood with the one who had woken him up.

"If you say so" Makil said

Kihei hugged Derrick "Just be yourself buddy" He said

Derrick stood by as Shade was carried back into the library, "I didn't ask for this," he said sitting down, "I didn't ask for any of this," he shifted some in his armor trying to make it settle more comfortably on his body. George walked after Tavnor and Shade the best he could from both the lower blood level and the wound his leg still felt. He halted at the doorway though to look back to Derrick and Kihei, "Don't worry for me," Derrick looked up from his paws, "I'll be fine."

Kihei hugged Derrick "Its ok Derrick. Everything is going to be ok. George and Shade will be fine, they just need some rest" He said to reassure his friend

Derrick had put his paw up to push Kigei away, but he didn't, and instead gave him a hug back.

George nodded and walked into the library, spotting Starz off to the side. He walked on for a second, but halted, turned and wobbled over, Well this is a very masculine approach, heh, he thought with a slight gin on his expression. He stopped just at the end of one of the book shelves, leaning on it some, "Look I can't say I know how you feel right now, but I can say that you cannot dwell on the past. Derrick does, but that doesn't stop me from trying," his gaze was turned to the floor for a moment. He looked about for a second, "He will lighten up more if you just talked to him. He's very loving," he then pulled himself up off of the book shelf, "You have to talk to us, its the best way to gain trust," he then looked back around to Shade, "And this group of heroes need trust in each other."

Kihei kept holding Derrick for a few minutes "I know don't need to, but do you want some of the breakfast that was made for us?" He asked

Derrick gave off a light laugh, "Eheh, do you even know me?" He then glanced down for a second to see Kihei's paw, the one he would figure he had attempted to use earlier to give him blood. There was a few dots of green liquid, "Is that?" He dropped down to look at it. He took a breath, "That smells..." He then hopped back, "That, that stuff... It's what I smelt when I first changed," he came closer again though, "Such a fowl smell, one that no one should forget," he then looked up to Kihei's eyes, "Where did that come from?"

George turned somewhat to face the group, "I know I don't know them, but they were all with you when I first found you all in the library back in Ceeanor," he then turned back to Starz, "Derrick mentioned you were afraid of something. Now I know the boy doesn't lie or make things up. We all have fears, and its best we not face them alone. My greatest fear is not living to see Derrick back to normal. I want to be able to see him grow up, become an adult, have a family," he lifted a paw up to his snout, "But the odds are starting to look much too slim," he rubbed his face a little before dropping his paw again, "So, what's got you all blue, I know light dragons aren't famous for getting sick."

"I don't know, I was reading a book last night about different creatures and vampires had a section" Kihei said

Voltaire walked over to them, "So, what's going on?"

"That's a good question to ask." Glare said.

George made a quick, fake, gasp, "Did you know Derrick is a vampiric dragon that requires other beings blood to survive?" He said with sarcasm, "And guess what, he's still with us. I'm sure whatever it is the others will accept you too. Not like you require the life liquid of living beings... Do you?" He playfully raised his paw away from Starz, trying to lighten the mood as usual.

George walked around to her side, keeping relative distance, just so that he could be a little closer, "It's fine, if you do not wish to tell us," he paused for a moment, "Well, at least I'll understand. One cannot speak for many," he started back for others, "Now," he started again, "Have you eaten anything tho morning yet?"

"Derrick, what is this stuff?" Kihei asked, afraid to touch the mystery substance

Derrick reached out to the substance, "I... I think it's... I think its my venom," he used a claw to scoop away the droplets, "I don't even know how, nor when," he placed the paw down to wiped it away, spread thin on the floor so that it dried quickly, "Did it break skin?" He asked looking down at Kihei's paw.

"I think it did" Kihei said as he checked his tail

"Good," George chuckled a little, "Cause I haven't," he awaited a response to be sure he could walk away without seeming rude.

Derrick couldn't remember the whole ordeal earlier, "But judging by the venom being on his paw, but his tail being dowsed in his own blood, "I think you'll be fine, if you but your own tail anyway."

Glare gulped, looking at Shade, "This is not good." He had no idea if he had anything that could help said dragon in question.

Voltaire paced around, worried about this.
