Jay nods and smiles.
"If I can get myself to hear again, I can help you see again!"

Sachi blushes and holds Jake's hand as they follow the others. Her hands are a bit cold, but Jake's warmth warms them.

"Awesome" Jay says with a smile

Jake smiles as he interlocks his fingers with hers.

Jayce smiles.
"Alright. I could use a clear chip. Clear chips can be wired to clear your vision. That can help Xander, but could it help you is the question. Is your eyes cloudy like Xander's?" She asks.

Sachi rests her head a little on Jake's shoulder as they walk.

"No, things are clear about a foot in front of me, then the farther away thing are, the more blurry they become, then eventually, I just can't see if it's too far" Jay explains.

Jake smiles. (Soooo interesting)

(Very interesting. )

Jayce nods.
"Alright. So a kind of glasses will be needed. You will take shortest, so I'll handle you first." she says, heading off to grab a few mechanical parts.

Sachi drifts off a little.

"Okay" Jay said, a little worried about having to wear glasses

Jayce smiles.
"Don't worry. If you want contacts, those might be easier."

"Whatever would work best' Jay said with a small smile

Jayce smiles and begins to work speedily. She takes a clear glass piece and shapes it into a circle. She embeds a small chip in it, and hands it to Jay.
"Put that in and test it. I just need to know if you can see clearly." She says.

The glass is a bit cloudy, but Jay's vision should be a bit better. She should be able to see Xander standing a few steps from her.

"My vision is slightly better, I can see Xander now, but it's still cloudy" Jay says

Jayce takes the glass and frowns.
"Well that explains it. My fingerprints are on it all over and it's the wrong kind of glass." She says with a sigh. "I'll be back." She says, heading into a smaller lab.

Jay nods with a smile. She sighed happily as she closed her eyes

Jayce returns with two manicured contacts. They're polished to perfection and have the chips imbedded in them.
"These should work. The chips are in there so that when you change, the chips will know to change size and shape I fit just right. Try it."

Jay nods as she places the contacts in her eyes. She opens her eyes and is amazed by what she saw. She actually saw. Jay gasped in delight. "Oh my... So this is what it's like to be able to see!" Jay says, joy and excitement filled her voice.

Jayce smiles.
"Glad they work!" She turns to Xander. "I'm afraid yours could be a bit more painful, cousin. Your girlfriend can be by your side if you want." She suggests.

Color rushes to Xander's face and he looks away.

Jay smiles as she looks to Xander. "I'll be here every step of the way" She says

Xander looks at her and smiles.
"Thanks Jay."

Jayce nods.
"Alright. Let me get a clear chip."

"It's nothing" She says as she studies Xander. The way his hair falls, how he smiles.

Jayce returns with a small see through chip and a few wires.
"All set! Ready Xander?"

Xander nods nervously.

Jay holds Xander's hand and gives it a gentle squeeze of assurance. "Don't be nervous I'm right here" She says

Xander smiles and nods.
"All set Jayce." he says shakily, still holding Jay's hand.

Jayce nods. She takes a small drill. Xander backs away.
"Xander, how can I hook up the wires without the drill? Jay, can you calm him down?"

Jay nods. She gives Xander a small kiss on the cheek. "Don't worry, It'll all be worth it in the end. Be strong" Jay says with a smile.

Xander turns to Jay and nods.
"I want to be able to see your face again. I really do. Alright. I'll stay strong."

Jayce walks to Xander, who closes his eyes. She takes the small drill and drills a few small holes.

"Good" Jay says with a smile. She watches the whole thing, mainly because she had never seen it before.

Jayce mutters as she works.
"Red wire and green...NO blue wire and green!" she yelps.

Xander grits his teeth.
"Jayce if you screw this up I swear you won't live to see tomorrow." he growls.

Jayce grins.
"Relax cous. I got this."

"Just stay calm" Jay said with a gentle tone.

Xander takes a deep breath and nods.

Jayce hooks the wires up to Xander's brain and eyes before inserting the small clear chip.
"And just turn it on." she says, turning on the chip. It makes a small beeping noise as it turns on. It begins to glow brightly and the cloudiness in Xander's eyes disappear. Jayce smiles. "Amazingly enough, The holes will cover and heal themselves, so don't worry. And the chip is set so if you change, your fox form will be all set as well."

Xander looks around, blinking. He's a bit dizzy and he feels his legs drop from under him a bit. He falls into Jay's arms.

Jayce grins in embarrassment.
"Um. Oops. Side effect."

Jay catches Xander "It's fine" She says with a small laugh

Xander looks at Jay and smiles.
"I forgot how beautiful you look." he says.

Jay smiled as she blushed. "I'm not that beautiful" She replied

Xander smiled.
"You're very beautiful. The most beautiful girl I've ever met."

Jay face became a deeper shade of red as she looked down. "Am not" She said with a smile

Xander gaine his balance and looked at Jay with his violet eyes. He put his hands on her shoulders and touched his forehead to hers.
"You're very beautiful. No matter what you say."

Jay had never seen Xander this close, he was so close... She opened her mouth to speak, but couldn't find words. She stood silent as she gazed into his eyes.

Xander pulls Jay into a hug, giving her a small kiss on the cheek.

Jay smiles as she returns the kiss. "I'm so glad I can finally see you. Ooh... and maybe I can see the stars too!!" Jay squealed

Xander smiles.
"Come on." He says, gently pulling Jay's hand. The stars had just begun to appear in the sky. They shimmered like small shards of ice.

Jay looked to the sky in amazement. "Woah... They're beautiful... and real!" Jay said with a smile.

Xander smiles.
"You like them?""

"Yes... very much" Jay replied as she stared at the stars

Xander smiled.
"The stars have always been so beautiful."

"Have they?" Jay asked in wonder

Xander nodded and smiled.
"They have. Um Jay, can I ask you something?" he asks nervously.

"Sure" Jay says with a gentle smile as she turns her head to Xander. "What is it?" She asks

Color rushes to Xander's face as he looks at Jay's smiling face.
"W-will you...be my girlfriend, Jay?" he stutters quickly, looking away fast.

"Yes" Jay says as she leans in to kiss Xander.

Xander smiles and closes his eyes, kissing Jay on the lips.
