It makes perfect sense. If you already have the characters and you want to buy the series 2 version then you don't have to buy the adventure pack (that you would already have from series 1) all over again. It also means that they don't have to release all the characters that come with adventure packs again - like how Ghost Roaster isn't getting a series 2 model.

well, its a good decision for US, but the company would have been getting $20 each time rather than $10. so its kinda a dumb move for them. and i don't understand why they arent remodeling all the figures.

Because the manufacturing of figures costs money. Considering the demand for Skylanders faced at Christmas, they'll more than likely be manufacturing a lot more than last year. I wouldn't be surprised if they were considering not releasing series 2 figures at all because of the cost of manufacturing.

The company who did The Beginning Trailer of SSA, PandaPanther, also did the E3 trailer for Giants. Activision must be using PandaPanther a lot for the Skylanders trailers.

You underestimate. It's not like a game, where they will only manufacture a certain number of copies of the game and then never have to make any more during the games life time; they have to compensate for the idea that everyone who buys the game will potentially buy 1 of each figure. So, that means that on top of the cost to manufacture the game and the portal (which has already been said was very expensive) they'll have to manufacture at least 1 copy of each Skylander for every copy of the game they manufacture - they don't want to be in the same issue that they were last year where they only produced 100,000 figures and sold out after Christmas.

activision is not one to please.

Ok, ive been holding this in, stop complaining about activision, why are skylanders haters here? Skylanders is one of the best video games, you cant complain about stuff like that, I agree about stuff like, they are to hard to find, but activision is most likely doing the best they can, they would do better if they could im sure.

People have a right to their opinions. Spyrodadragon wasn't really complaining or saying that Giants sucked or anything, he/she was just saying that he/she did not like Erupter's lightcore.

Erupter's lightcore feature is meant to glow so it looks like his entire mouth is glowing. The lady on the video featuring his figure said she didn't like him either but then saw that his glow got stronger and brighter as he got close to the portal. So it's not supposed to be a dot when it gets to the portal.
