Chapter 56: “Tell Me No (More) Lies”
(Part 2)

Rookie roamed around in the forest, to find things to do. After occupying himself with nothing, he finally fell asleep…

Midnight was feeling relieved as well, for she had things bottled up; having no clue if she could ever continue to live with it. Now that the two were actually speaking to another, they carried on to connect closer and closer. “Now, on to the next one; I believe this is the last,” she told to herself and Dawn. “I’ll try to help,” she replied, some what coldly. “It has to do with the three of use: You, Pablo, and I.” “Wait…what does this have to do with you?” Dawn cried. “I’m involved with the whole thing, aren’t I? Any who, it all began with him…uh… ‘dieing’,” she said, air quoting. “Why would you say that? He died, didn’t he?” “Is that what he told you? Oh, what is with that boy? I thought once he spoke to you, he’d clear things out, from his part. Well to answer that previous question: No, he did not die…

He was mildly wounded by that black monster, as it forced him to fall head-first. He met with Laghora—the shape-shifter, Queen of the Underground—as they began to fight. It didn’t last long, for I actually saved him. You see, he was about to use his Light Fury—in which would take what’s left of his energy. I had summoned him and I didn’t want him to die, plus I didn’t want you to feel so empty.” “Well, you failed,” Dawn murmured to her. “I kept him there for a while, helping him heal, and then that’s when I needed you to come to me. You were taken Dream World, and then…do you recall the ‘experience’ at the waterfall?” “Yes, yes I know if it all, and how everything became so confusing! She blurted out. “Well, it was on the same day—after you learned to teleport—when we both made a decision; I mostly did it for him though.” *Yet again, people make a decision for him. He has a mind of his own, does he not?* she thought.

“The decision was to either help the Dragoness of the Moonlight’s Healer or not. She has a handful of dragons to cure, after the effect of the war.” “He chose to be with you, over me? Dragons, everyone! Are gonna die anyways from the end!” “DAWN! My goodness why must you lose it all just like that?!” she burst out, snapping her fingers, “you don’t know that at all! Besides, do you really want him to be with you? When there are countless of injured ones out there?! Have a heart for once,” she patted her chest, where the heart is located at, “don’t transform you into being so selfish. You should be happy—glad!—that he’s doing all of this! Once he’s done, he’ll finally cure the one out of most of all: You.” “Hmph,” she said, hearing her mother say that, “I get it all now and realized, but there’s this one thing that you can’t possible do.” “…and what’s that?” “To have Pablo and I in each others hearts again.”

Rookie heard some faint chirping, that woke him up. Seconds later, he heard a shrieking roar—not to far—as he freaked out, and hid under a tree. Without thinking any further, he rapidly ran off to find Midnight. As he reached her, he also found Dawn; getting even more “excited” he began to stutter and finally fainted from the thrill. “I assume he has experienced it,” Midnight responded, setting aside what Dawn lastly said. “Experienced what?” Dawn curiously asked. Midnight sighed and replied, “Since I promised to tell you no more lies, I have another thing to advise you.” “Towards what?” she cried, getting impatient. “Towards your alter ego.”

Chapter 57: “Monster Unleashed”

“What…what does she have to do with this?” Dawn exclaimed, as she walked towards Rookie—trying to wake him up. “Get up Rook!” as she then located a near puddle. She then drew it all up, turned it icy cold, and threw it at his face. “Agh!” he jumped up, as he gasped for air. “There; now…about ShadowWing…” “Yes…” she sighed, trying to think of a good way to explain, “Your alter ego and you were unstable: trying to get rid of the other. You’d attempt to find the best time to get out, and lay the other dormant. You both wished to go separate paths, and this causes a huge war within yourself. I couldn’t take it, not have the others, just to watch you get wounded and go crazy.” “Yeah, no offence, ShadowWing is pretty freaky to be around with,” Rookie said, getting goose bumps. “Oh, I’m so sorry,” Dawn said sarcastically, getting annoyed, “should I go tell her to stop scaring you now?” she continued, making a mushy voice—as though as if she were talking to a baby. Rookie felt offended and embarrassed, as he took a step back—with his head hanging low.

“Dawn!” Midnight yelled out. “Continue with the speech,” she said, demandingly. *You are still angry, no doubt* her mother thought. *Yes, now continue!* Dawn replied back. “I found out a way to turn into a spirit; of coarse I’m immortalized, so I should know. Are you prepared for what’s going to be thrown at you?” she questioned. “It’s what I’ve been waiting for. Besides I’m sure I could take out ShadowWing,” Dawn said, with cockiness. “Don’t get ahead of ourselves, dear,” she murmured to her, “Since I took over her body, I was able to turn you back to normal; there are good and bad news. Now that I turned you back, you will not be controlled no longer by your anger—which would summon ShadowWing. You now have full control over yourself and your emotions; you will be able to use your dark powers.” “So you’re saying that ShadowWing finally left me?!” Dawn cried, with tears of happiness. “Well you could say that, but don’t get ahead,” she responded, “this is where the bad news comes in:

Due to the overshadowing, a side effect has occurred; Rookie?” she said, giving him a gesture that he some what knows what’s going to happen next. “ShadowWing is now unleashed, and out of you. Your alter ego is out there, and I’m sure that chaos and mishaps will be waiting for you.” “What?!” she yelled out, with tears of sorrow, “Tell me your not exaggerating…the both of you!” “Sorry…,” Rookie replied, still feeling offended. “There’s nothing to exaggerate here—it’s the hard truth,” said Midnight. “Oh no, no, no, no!! This can’t be happening!” Dawn feared. “Dawn, we’ll all be here to help you,” Rookie responded. “Yeah, and DarkShadow will be there to help ShadowWing!” she called back. “No matter what; you will become strong enough to defeat anything in your path,” Midnight responded. *Hm…I’ll believe it when it comes to me* she thought irately, “Alright…I’ll try.” “For now, though, you two need to find your allies. I need to go and convince your father if he’ll be able to help,” her mother ended, beginning to lift off, “good luck.”

“Yeah, as if he’ll be convinced; he’s probably part of this whole immortality thing. She’s the one that’s gonna need all the luck,” Dawn said, angrily, “c’mon we need to start off and find…IceWind and FireStar…? That’s it? That’s all the allies we need to get? Oh joyfulness…” She then walked off to the direction where they may be located. Rookie sadly and shyly followed her carefully—needing an apology…

Chapter 58: “In Search of All (and New) Allies”
(Part 1 of 6)

~Meanwhile~

The sisters continued on soaring in the skied, searching for the places there allies may be at. “Ugh, how many more hours must we continue?!” Sally complained. “Relax; we’ve only flown for about ten minutes. Besides Light’s hiding place is coming close soon,” replied Wanderist. As Sally quickly glanced around for a hiding place, she cried out, “But there’s nothing here! Only trees and bushes! What, he hides in a bush? Sounds more like Rookie to me.” “Shut up!” she exclaimed, feeling offended for Rookie, “did you forget that Light hides in a lake?!” As they landed near the lake, Wanderist said, “Wait for me here; I’ll be back soon.” “…and be a loner like Rookie?!” “Sally!” Wanderist yelled, getting mad. As she then took a deep breath, she swam under water to locate a special cave. Sally immediately got bored as she wondered around. “I’m pretty sure that Bubbles place is minutes away,” she thought to herself, “I’m sure Wanderist can wait.” She then took off to search for another ally.

Minutes later, Sally heard loud noises of roars and crashes from huge amounts of water. “Sounded like Bubbles is training again” she sighed. Sally then saw a huge tide moving towards her, “Ahhh!!! That’s her alright!” Bubbles heard a familiar yell, as she let go of the water, and made it fall back to the lake. “Sally! How’s it going?! You know, you should watch out where you’re going! You could have been caught in that tide, and drowned!” “Yeah, as if it’s my fault,” she muttered, as she landed near her friend. “What brings you here, and where’s Wanderist?” “Long story Bubbled,” she sighed, as she began to explain what was going on. “Wow, this is all too sudden to hear about this, but sure! Of course I’m in! I’m always up to beat up some enemies!” she exclaimed. “That’s great! Dawn will be happy!” “Dawn?” she questioned. “Oh right, I haven’t mentioned her. Now that’s another story I have to tell, while we find Wanderist.” They then took off, again, to trace the other two.

As Light and Wanderist came out of the lake, the sister looked around for her sister, “Sally?” “So she’s with you too…” Light spoke. “Yeah, I told her to stay here and wait. But of course it seems that can’t even do that,” she replied, “SALLY!!!” she yelled out, annoyed. Sally heard a distant call as she said, “Oh boy, ‘mom’s’ mad.” Bubbles chuckled and replied, “Better hurry then.” As they then located them, Wanderist cried, “Where were you? I told you to wait here!” “But I got bored! Besides, I founded Bubbles!” she smirked. “Hey guys!” “Hello again Bubbles,” Light greeted. “Ugh! You never listen! You couldn’t even follow a simple thing I told you!” “Why do I have to?!” As the two were about to get into an argument, Bubbles thought quick and splashed water on the both of them, “There.” “We must not waste time with nonsense and foolishness! There are other things we must complete,” Light responded. “Yeah, you’re right,” Sally agreed. “Now let’s go; we need to find Fireball and then Zape,” Wanderist planned. “Why must we find him first?” Sally argued. “Because, if we get her, she’ll be jumping all over the place; you know how hyper she gets.” “It’ll be the same thing if we get her last!” “SALLY!” they all yelled. “Alright, alright.”
They then set off to the mountains, to find the last two of there allies…

This chapter is mostly for/about wanderist’s dragons. Lol, did I get there personalities right? he-he, it was fun typing this. Especially writing Sally’s part, it’s what makes the story funnier. And WOW! 6 parts?! Well it might be, I'll change it after wards when I'm done write the final part.

Chapter 59: “In Search of All (and New) Allies
(Part 2 of 6)

~Back with Dawn and Rookie~

Silence was upon them, as they moved forward on. “D…Dawn…uh,” Rookie stuttered. “What is it?” she said, now calmly. “About what happened back there…uh…,” “Spit it out.” “Did you really mean that?” “Mean what…oh…that…no, I didn’t mean anything about that to you. I guess anger still controls me; I’m so sorry Rook,” she said, hugging him. He smiled with relief as he replied, “Good, I thought our friendship was breaking.” She smirked and responded, “That’s silly; now, c’mon we need to…hurry…,” she stopped as she saw Rookie’s face turn frighten, “Rookie…?” “I thought I saw ShadowWing…” Then out of nowhere, she did, as she snatched Dawn away. Rookie quickly flew after her, as the alter ego controlled him, and made him fall asleep. “Rookie!” she cried, trying to get out of her grip; trying to use her powers. Nothing came out, as she said, “What did you do to me…where are you taking me to?!” “I assume a story would pass time for our trip,” ShadowWing began:
“Thanks to our brilliant mother, she separated us, as I appeared in the middle of the Underground. I saw tons of Vhalzars stopping there work and red eyes glowed—ready to attack. I snarled as my eyes turned bloody red, and commanded them all to halt. As I then located the main room, I slammed the door down, as I met up with that childish panther. He told me about his master’s plan, and how I’m involved. He taught me some wonderful powers of immortality, and learned them rapidly. Of course, our father rubbed off some of his immortality to us—me mostly; I am now some what immortalized. So, yes, I have drained all your powers—delightful isn’t it?” she chuckled.
“…and to where are you taking me?” Dawn asked. “To whom, is the proper question—to DarkShadow.” Dawn’s eyes widen, as she thought, ”Our father rubbed off some of his immortality to us…,” she recalled the words. “We were both together as one, once…,” she whispered, and concentrated. All of a sudden, she disappeared like a ghost, and reappeared in front of her alter ego. “What the—how did you do that?!” “We were one, at a time, so DarkShadow’s power were absorbed to the both of us. Plus, you really haven’t learned that ‘taking away powers’ yet. You shut them down, only when you had a grip on me. But now that I have ‘em back…,” she laughed, starting to teleport. “Why you little twit!” she roared, ready to attack. Dawn then quickly teleported anywhere, for she had no tome to concentrate well…

Chapter 60: “In Search of All (and New) Allies”
(Part 3 of 6)

~Meanwhile~

It’s nighttime, as two twin dragons watch a show from the skies—shooting stars. “He-he, hey Twinkle Star, make a wish for a girlfriend! You need one, ya know?” a twin brother said, teasingly. “Would you quit calling me Twinkle Star?! I don’t need—” “I wish Twinkle here would have a girl for once!” he yelled, cutting off his brother’s words. “SilverDusk!” he cried out. Coincidentally, something that glowed blue appeared in the middle of the skies. A scream of a female was heard loud enough, as she fell into a near-by forest. “Whoa-ho, it came true! C’mon, let’s see your girl!” he exclaimed, running towards the forest. His brother grunted, as he ran after him.

“Ugh!” Dawn groaned, for she fell through some branches; and healed right after. “Hey, she’s good-looking!” SilverDusk said, reaching Dawn. “Huh?!” she said, confused and angry. “Uh…” his twin said, blushing. “Hey there! Meet your new boyfriend: Twinkle Star!” He blushed even more and stuttered, “It’s…its SilverStar, actually,” he replied. Just as Dawn glared at him, she also noticed the star marking on SilverStar—reminding her of Pablo. “But you could call me Silver, okay?” Tears filled up her eyes, as she ran off crying. “Dude, you see?! Your name and nickname is so horrible, that it makes someone cry,” he said coldly, more than a tease. Silver growled as he ran after his “girlfriend.”

As he caught up to her, he questioned, “You okay?” “I’m fine,” she responded, angrily, “where am I?” “You’re on a planet called Earth—” “I Know Which Planet I’m On! I’m Not An Alien!” she yelled. “Uh…he said, timidly. “I’m sorry, okay? But seriously, don’t believe in that nonsense like wishes from shooting stars. Sorry…we didn’t really meet: my name is Dawn,” she greeted, with a smile. “Uh, hello, you have quit a mood change there: sad, angry, and then happy.” “It’s not what you think; I’ve been through a lot lately—memories flow and then it could make you really emotional,” she smirked, and sarcastically added, “your twin is really funny.” “Yeah, it hurts at times,” he blushed. “No worries Silver, I’ll help you around…but—” “What’s in it to you?” “This is really surprising; please trust me.” “You seem trustworthy enough; what is it?” “The world is at its end, and we have a plan to help it live longer. But the only thing is that there are enemies trying to transform this world immortalized—along with all of us living in it. They’re gonna turn it all dark, and we need to gather all allies—even some foes. It’s our home and we need to protect it from dangers like them,” she ended. “Wow…okay, but what if we do defeat these guys, how will that help the world live longer?” “I am…I am the one who’s going to do whatever it takes to save home.” “You?!” he scoffed, “I’m sorry, but how are you gonna save this whole world?!”

After telling Silver most of the powers she retains, Dawn lastly questioned, “So…will you join us?” “Join you?! Of course I’m in!” he said, happily. “Don’t think it will be so easy, and don’t think that I’ll become your girlfriend too,” she smiled, reading his thoughts. “What—what would make you think…?” he scoffed. “I read minds, have I mentioned that?” she laughed. “Oh great…now I can’t keep anything a secret,” he sighed. “No worries towards that; some things, that are more privately, will prevent me from reading it.” “Oh…good…” he blushed again. “You turn red a lot.” “I’m not used to talking to girls…uh…” “So! The end of the world, huh? Isn’t that great?!” SilverDusk jumped in, with sarcasm. “This is serious, you twit,” Dawn said, annoyed. “Oh that hurts, but not as much as how Twinkle here feels,” he chuckled, with more sarcasm. “Back off!” she growled, “now, excuse us, for we are leaving!” “Well, good luck, he’s useless around here.”

“That’s because there’s no trouble, except for you that is,” SilverStar yelled. “C’mon Silver, ignore him, we have more important things to do,” Dawn said, walking off. As he followed her, his twin shot out small meteorites. Dawn looked back, as she rose up a wall from the ground. “If you’re looking for a fight, you’re not gonna find one here!” she yelled, lowering the wall. “Hm, you’re strong…for a girl.” “Sexist,” Dawn murmured, as she was ready to teleport, “get close to me, we’re leaving.” “Okay,” he blushed, once more, moving next to her. “Oh! What a cute couple!” he exclaimed, teasing some more. Just as Dawn and Silver, disappeared, she threw an earth missile, which hit him…

Silver: No clue where Rookie would be...
