Guys just stopping by to say that KeyBash is suspended for behavior issues. I really felt like she needed a break off the internet.

Also Thumper is suspended by request (I think she needed a break too thus why she requested. I asked her about it too).

I hope we can mellow things out in the meantime, without putting the mean in meantime. If that is alright.

idk how far it escalated after that because i was, you know, busy crying over finals, but apparently it was enough to warrant a gnorc

I also didn't want to fuel the fire at the time, but that art was also Aura's character in YK, despite god knows how many times they argued. I think this time it was even more distress than usual.

when did i lowkey diss thumper? when i said it was ****ty of her to say it on her gb? that wasn't meant as a diss. Or do you mean when i said she wasn't in the right either? cuz that also wasn't a diss.

one of my best friends is suicidal, my other best friend has attempted suicide in the past and failed painfully. My mom was the last person that her friend saw before he took a gun to his head and blew his brains out, so i know that it's not something to joke about.

This is dependent on the state or situation the person is in really, words, no matter where they come from, can hurt just as much as a punch to the face. Insults can be just as bad as physical pain, but instead bringing it on in an emotional form. It really doesn't matter how these words are sent, whether through text, or through one's own voice it will still hit a person like any punch can do. When something like an insult is directed toward someone, then they'll think that they are what they were called, and it's really hard to help those negative thoughts.

Again though, the situation depends on the state of the person who received it, they might just brush it off, they might take it but try to continue forward, or the person might have depression for quite awhile. And then the state of the person, how they take the word, depends on other factors too... How long a person has taken such things, like if they've been taking it for years or called so a million times, if there are already things going on in a person's life and other things like that.

The fact is, words have more power than people tend to think. Whether it was just name calling, insults, or saying rather terrible things, any of those things can be taken emotionally. Text, letters, or voice it all means something for someone.

All I'm trying to convey is, something like that shouldn't be taken in a small way. And that people, no matter which side it is, should be more careful with what they say. Because it can and will kill people, on the inside and quite possibly on the outside. I also want to convey and let people be aware of understanding the situation better for the person going through these things so they may word their sentences in a better way.


That said I do hope and pray that nothing has happened to thumper... I very much hope and pray nothing happened.

Now, forgive me, but I'm gonna use a Windumup example, because I specifically remember this happening. Windumup has been called cringy multiple times by multiple users, and nothing is ever done of it, as it should be. It's ok to say someone's being cringy lol just don't attack them about it. But as soon as a disliked user posts to a friend of his by like 2 years that he thought it was cringy, the mods decide to take action. This selectiveness is also the reason that Sess can tell users to **** off, but a disliked user can't state his opinion that someone's action was cringeworthy. Because Sess is friends with the majority of users around here, including the mods, and they just let it slide. I'm not picking sides here either, I'm friends with Sess too, we tight. It's just a poor excuse to say that calling something cringeworthy was malicious but telling a user specifically to "**** off with your bull****" had less malicious intent than the former lol.

Also the fact that Sess's post was during an argument (which mods should be more prone to stop) compared to just a generic post lmao
