Xander nods.
"We'll be fine Jay. Don't worry."

The group walks until they reach a white building. It's nice inside, and a vet greets them.

"My dog's really injured. His rib is broken and he can't breathe well." Xander says calmly, though his eyes show worry.

"We'll get him in the ER right now." The vet says quickly, taking Serge."

Drake and Quackerjack came in as well, Bushroot left to join the dark angels.

Jay nods solemnly, worried for Serge.

Jake leans against a wall silently.

"Hey Jake, wanna talk?" asked Quackerjack.

Xander sat down, his head in his hands. He was listening to the other barks and meows of cats and dogs.
"Poor Serge. Let him live. Please." he cried softly.

Sachi looked at Jay, nodding in the direction of Xander.
He needs you. she mouthed.

Quackerjack sighed, no one cared about him. Even he began to question his purpose.

Jay nods, walking to Xander and sitting next to him. "Hey"

Xander looked at Jay, offering a smile, despite the tears running down his face.
"Hey." he said.

The vets had started working Serge.

"Sachi, do you wish to talk with me?" asked Drake, "About why you love Jake,"

Jay hugged Xander. "Don't worry Xander. He'll be fine" She soothed

Drake got up to leave, he needed rest.

Xander smiles.
"I believe you."

A vet headed from the ER room to Jay and Xander.
"The operation was successful. Your dog will be fine." she says. "You can come see him if you want."

Xander jumped up, holding Jay's hand. He looks at Jay for approval.

Drake sat outside and questioned himself, he thought of a reason to why he was here.

Jay nods, walking with Xander to see Serge.

The vet leads the two into a calm, quiet white room. Serge lays on a table. At the sound of the door opening, he opens his eyes and barks softly to Xander and Jay.

Xander runs to Serge and softly pets him.

Drake had been outside for a long time, he was used to it by now.

Jay smiles and walks to Serge. "Hey. How ya holding up?" Jay asks

Serge waits for the vet to leave before speaking.
"Tired. Doing better though. They fixed my rib and my lung. It was a bit punctured."

Xander wrapped his arms gently around Serge's neck.
"I'm glad you're okay." He cries, tears running down his cheeks.

Jay nods "As long as you're doing better" She smiles.

Serge smiles and nods, licking Xander's face and touching his wet black nose to his cheek.

Xander smiles and wipes his tears, petting Serge's flank.

Drake became somewhat depressed, he felt worthless.

Jay smiles "Shall I leave you two alone?" She asks

Xander steps back and kisses Jay on the cheek.
"No, you're fine."

Jay smiles "Are you sure?" She asks

Xander nods.
"Yes, I'm sure. Besides, I should let Serge sleep."

Jay nods, petting Serge and then allowing him to sleep.

Xander holds Jay's hand as they leave.

Sachi stands as Xander appears with Jay.

Xander nods cheerfully and Sachi smiles.

OOC: Sorry, sorry. Haven't really been to the RP section in a while XP


Jake stands with Sachiu happily

Jay smiles alongside Xander.

OOC: Aw, don't worry.

Sachi leans against Jake.

Xander curls up into a little ball on a couch, drifting off. He looks a bit like an innocent child.

OOC: Sorry again

Jake holds Sachi close to him, unwilling to let go. "I love you" He whispers in her ear softly.

Jay takes a seat next to Xander. She lays her hand on Xander's hand, and grasps it happily.

OOC: It's okay. I had a great idea. An epidemic idea. The Unknown, become Known, and if found, they're hunted for rewards. It sounded cool and interesting. Plus, I thought about how I had too many characters, and bringing some back would be cool. Opinion?

Sachi smiled as she snuggles against Jake.
"I love you."

Xander holds Jay's hand happily as he sleeps.

OOC: Sounds pretty dang cool to me ^.^

Jake smiles as he rests his head against Sachi's.

Jay smiles as she closes her eyes and drifts off.

OOC: Sweet. By the way, how do you enjoy being a rice guardian?

Sachi smiles.

Xander's breathing is soft.

Serge ha snuck by everyone, planning on heading on a walk. He suddenly spotted a small poster and walked up to read it:

Wanted:
Any spotted Unknowns. The rewards are high. Government wants dead or alive.

Serge's eyes widen, and he hares back to the vet.

OOC: 'Tis awesome

Jake holds Sachi tightly.

Jay smiles in her sleep.

OOC:

Serge bursts in, falling to his paws.

Xander shoots awake.
"Serge!" He yelps in surprise.

Jay awakes as well. "What happened?" She asks drowsily

Jake pops up.

Serge looks wild eyed.
"We've, become, hunting, game." He pants.

Jay immediately awakes "What?" She says, rubbing her eyes

Jake's eyes widen

Xander's eyes widen.
"How are we gonna be safe now?!" he cries.

Sachi gasps softly.

"How did our cover get blown?" Jay asks

Serge shakes his head.
"I have no clue."

Xander curls up into a small ball of fear, tears running down his cheeks. He was scared.

Sachi looked from her brother to Jay.

Jay hugged Xander tightly "Don't worry. We'll find a way outta this" Jay says

Xander looked at Jay and wrapped his arms tightly around her.
"I'm just seriously worried because you always take nightly walks on your own and..." he zoned out.

"Don't worry Xander" Jay smiled

Xander takes Jay's hands in his.
"Please Jay, let me worry this time. There are sharpshooters and snipers out there. If you go on nightly walks, you have to take me with you."

"But... I wouldn't want to wake you up" Jay said

Xander shakes his head.
"You have to. I won't allow you out on your own. If you don't wake me up, I won't sleep. I'll get sick then."

"But if I do wake you up, then you won't sleep" Jay says

Xander shakes his head again.
"Please Jay." he says, his violet eyes wide and pleading. "I don't want you to go out alone."

Jay sighs "Fine" She says in defeat
