Was just in TRU looking for the third legendary crystal. I was told their street date was Dec 2nd.

Any leads on Solar Flare Aurora in Canada yet? None of the flyers I've checked have had pics.

It looks like in Canada we aren't going to get Solar Flare Aurora, just like the Nitro vehicles from Superchargers (though that wasn't a big deal if you ask me). I ordered a couple from Target.com, but they wouldn't send to Canada (some weird database product error). Fortunately I have a relative across the border, hoping that works out!

Anyone seen Elven Forest or Noel Chompy or anything? I hate the waves that come around Christmas, they are always very random and very rare.

Walmart.ca has both the Enchanted Elven Forest(with the wrong name) and Crash and Cortex pack on the site with a coming soon description. Agreed that Christmas waves are rare in Canada. I'll never forget the Christmas eve day I went looking for and found/bought the light and dark playsets for Trap Team. And then pretty much never saw them both again.

It was funny because there were quite a few Light/Dark expansion packs, then they were gone never to be seen again!

Heads up, bestbuy.ca has most of wave 3 up for preorder in currently VERY limited numbers. Got my order in with Buckshot only having 6 left in preorder stock.

I'm guessing this weekend the Wave will be everywhere then, the Legendary Pit Boss is out on Dec.2 at TRU and Elven Forest is out at TRU USA. It won't let Jingle Bell Chompy Mage be ordered, despite still saying in stock. The rest are almost all OUT OF STOCK now....wow

No sign of either yet but I'll let you know. I was lucky enough to find both the light and dark sets as well as the two dragons after driving around and calling 30 stores Christmas Eve for Trap Team. Dedication

Was it really Christmas Eve when those were leaked out? Coulda swore it was a couple days before Christmas!? I got a text from someone who always had a heads up from their EBgames, she said to go and there'd be a surprise. I went to one and they were just putting them out, grabbed two of each and was lucky enough to find a bunch of the traps and a few KAOS traps to give as gifts.

Looks like everything is OOS at BestBuy now, grabbed the last Flarewolf and an Elven Forest just in case the weekend is a bust. I highly highly doubt going this weekend will prove a failure though, but after this weekend I wouldn't hold my breath. This is the infamous pre-Christmas wave that goes quickly, parents grabbing any figures on the shelf (and the hardcore collectors grabbing the next wave). They also seem to release this wave in such crazy quantities. Lets face it, anyone else notice how little supply there was for the first two waves? Is it because of the packaging size perhaps? Stores playing it safe? Most characters at most retail stores around me got 2-4 of each character.

Walmart.ca now has everything Bestbuy.ca had for pre-order, but they are just placeholders right now.

Last packs I'm waiting for are Ro-Bow, Pain-Yatta, and Mystical Bad Juju. Kinda weird that at least the sensei plus crystal dual packs haven't shown up or advertised anywhere. I pray to whatever deities might be listening to not let Ro-Bow be the next Thrillipede. His visual design alone makes him worth having. His soul gem preview is just as amazing.

As for the light and dark expansion packs, it was definitely Christmas eve day, at least in my city. Those in Ontario or BC have it easy compared to me.

I think I saw the dual-packs are Bestbuy USA exclusives? Also in Europe they seem to be common?

I never saw the dual-packs, I think Canada is simply not getting them.

Did you guys have trouble finding the Magic-Undead-Tech crystal triple pack? It seems like it was 1 or 2 per store and only a few stores got them. The Life-Water-Air triple pack is more common though.

Haven't seen ANY triple crystal packs outside of the usual scalpers, but whatever. Decided to stop waiting on Activision to release the 8 pack in Canada and ordered it for a surprisingly modest sum from the Italian Amazon site. That's a damn shame if we don't get the crystal sensei packs, since there's no way to know when some of those senseis will be released outside of them. Might have to place another overseas order.

Toys R Us flyer starting tomorrow shows the Elven Forest Adventure Pack, Legendary Pit Boss and Legednary Magic Crystal. I was register locked from purchasing Legendary Pit Boss today at Toys R Us, was very frustrating!

Toys R Us has the Elven Forest adventure pack, and Legendary Pit Boss. No sign of the magic trap or anything else W3, this is going to show up any day I can feel it. Unfortunately, blink and you'll miss it. Bestbuy.ca had so few, and the ones I did order have not shipped despite claiming to arrive by Dec.2.

You can bet I'll do my best to share when I see something new or interesting. I was following this thread for so long and surprised to see just how slow it was, so if I can help out my fellow Canadian portal masters I will. Speaking of which I highly suggest any of you who have not to go ahead and order the 8 pack from Amazon.it if you are sure you want it. I ordered mine less than a week ago and it's almost in my hands. Placed an order with Amazon.fr for the Painyatta pack too, because forget waiting on our awful retail distribution system and Activision's awful news about release dates. I wouldn't recommend doing the latter unless you NEED him though, it was a little bit pricy.

For me, I found W3 trap only, Elven Forest adventure pack, Legendary Pit Boss and magic trap at ToysRUs. My city is Montreal.

Which traps did you find? All 4 of the new ones?

I found all 4 trap and today, I found Crash Bandicoot and Dr. Neo Cortex adventure pack.

I see I'm not the only person that mistakes the creation crystals as traps lol My son corrects me daily.

Hamilton Upper Wentworth TRUS had only a few EEF zets and quite a few LPB's left and the 3rd LCR but no Wave 3 and Santa Chompy Mages.

Found the Magic Legendary Creation Crystal and Legendary Pit boss at TRU here in Calgary, but thats it. Nothing at Walmart or Best Buy, even though they had advertised the new wave 3 figures on their websites.

At my local TRU in Toronto the had a bunch of EEF 2 Thumpin Wumpa Island packs and a bunch of LPBs no other new figures.

Despite having gotten my preorder in at bestbuy.ca for the new wave 3 figures I wanted with a receipt date of the 2nd, they still have not shipped. Also an order from the cyber Monday sale had not shipped. Anyone else waiting on bestbuy.ca to get their **** together and finally ship orders you've made a week or so ago?

I managed to get in a pre-order for FlareWolf and the EEF pack, but Best Buy has yet to ship mine either. I decided to cancel it, as EEF is easily obtained at TRU and FlareWolf will show up with everyone else. Not really a fan of not knowing when something will come or if it will ever come!

Found Jingle Bell Chompy Mage at Walmart in Kitchener Yesterday. They only had 3

I'm really disappointed myself. As I posted in another topic, I've been keeping watch since last week and all I found new around here (Quebec City area) is Legendary Pit Boss at the two nearby TRU which they only had a couple of and a bunch of JBCM at a local Microplay (and yet nothing at another nearby Microplay). Nothing at the 3 Walmarts I went to, either.

I also got told that (at least my local store) EB is kind of at a friction point with the franchise because of the lack of communication and news. They didn't get anything since launch after the initial two waves. Nothing on the special edition Bad Juju, either.

Finally, no sign of any new crystals or anything else from wave 3 and no one seems to know anything. I'm really disappointed/disgruntled.

With Disney Infinity and LEGO Dimensions they provide hard release dates, this is part of the reason I think people are discouraged with Skylanders. It used to be exciting to hunt and not know, now its just frustrating.

I don't mind hunting if the quantities are there, but that just simply isn't the case this year, at least for the wave 3 figures. FYI toysrus.ca has a 15 percent off regular price code today only. So I used it to save a few bucks on the two adventure packs, hoping bestbuy.ca figures out how to fix their broken site and order pages long enough to cancel the Enchanted Elven Forest pack I preordered there.

The selection is low on toysrus.ca right now, but maybe you'll find a use for the 15OFF code.

Looks like all the Walmarts have Jingle Bell Chompy Mage now, along with the W3 crystals. I had to hit up two stores to grab all 4 new crystals, and it seems each store only got 1 of each new crystal? Not the kinda thing to wait around for if you're interested in particular models or collecting them all.

TRU has the Crash and EEF adventure packs now, but no sensei's or new crystals. I'm monitoring the Walmart.ca site to grab the Sensei's, as I think that's the best bet. Can even set a notification when they become available online, it worked for the EEF so I'm hopeful.

Are there good quantities of EEF adventure packs at retail? Haven't checked today, but they had not reach my local TRU this weekend so I ordered online to make sure I don't miss it.

I've only seen it at TRU, and they seemed to be gone after the weekend.

Has anyone received the W3 from Bestbuy.ca or even had a shipping notice?

Did anyone actually get the Dark Crystal from Bestbuy for the wave 1 release or have an idea of the release date for the single pack?

Wave 3 currently available on bestbuy.ca, aside from a few figures. Looks like Chain Reaction is sold out. For the dark crystal your best shot was either the dark starter or the crystal 8 pack I mentioned earlier. Nobody knows anything about the potential single pack, even if it exists.

Jingle Bell Chompy Mage found at Calgary Walmart today. Looks like very limited supplies though.

None of W3 is available on Bestbuy.ca and hasn't been in a week or so.

It is ridiculous. Here, they finally got the dual pack with Crash and Neo Cortex just today, which I got, along with the EEF pack, thank god.

However, still no sign of any W3 senseis/villains other than that. Still nothing at Walmart around here. EB still have absolutely nothing new for the past month, which is ridiculous.

Will check TRU and BB this weekend and hope for the best...

I get the feeling they will show up this weekend at TRU and Walmart. I don't find Walmart.ca to put things up to far in advance of actually selling them. Its weird though that Walmart got the Noel Chompy Mage, w3 crystals, Cortex/Crash, and EEF pack but nothing else. Hoping to see the new sensei's in the flyer for TRU tomorrow night.

I have already receive flyer for TRU. It have only one new sensei and It's Jingle Bell ChompyMage. TRU have promo "buy one get the 2th one at 1/2 OFF".

Yup. According to my source who's been an EB manager for the past nearly 10 years, the relationship between EB's distributor and Skylanders's furnisher has really deteriorated since last the last few years and this year it's pretty much complete silence. Seemingly there's been much friction for this year's iteration and that's why EB are giving up at this point, what with TRU supposedly pushing the furnisher for exclusivity/alternate colors and such.

It's a real fiasco this year. I hope I'm wrong, but it really doesn't bode well for the franchise's future. Maybe this ought to take a year break and settle their stuff and come back in 2018 stronger than ever. Or something. With TFB making the game, ideally.

Still have not received a shipping notification for the preorder I made for Flare Wolf and Buckshot the day it went live, with a expected shipping date of December 2nd. The figures have been coming in and out of stock on the site rarely, but I've seen it. They refused to cancel my EEF pack before it shipped too. I used to think Canada's retail landscape was bad, but I didn't know just how bad. Toysrus.ca has been the shining example of adequacy this year for me despite their low stock, when they were the hardest for me to deal with last year.

Safe to say then that Canada does not yet have the wave 3 senseis, and will probably never get mystical Bad Juju?

Yeah I guess... I don't aim at getting absolutely everything for this game, one version of each character is fine, so if regular Bad Juju is released here, I'm ok.

Has anyone asked EB if its in the system?? USUALLY EB has Skylanders days when GameStop has theirs, although sales seem to differ. I'm wondering if Mystical Bad Juju will be easier to get than regular! LOL

Yeah, I asked and they have nothing. Zilch for anything Skylanders. They still haven't even got anything new at all while others have now gotten JBCM, the Crash/Neo Cortex pack and the EFF pack.

Same for Microplay, for that matter. Said "we never know in advance, we just get it from the distributor, like a surprise lotto win". Ironic but that's really how seems to be this year.

Funny how they have dates for these funko pop thingies for the coming 6 months however...

I can corroborate the EB ignorance. Asked if they had a date or would let me preorder a few days ago, they had nothing in their system. Don't you love the blind waiting game?

It's not new that stores (not only EB games) can't tell the exact day they will receive a shipment though.

Definitely not, no.

But you would think that EB would at least have a clue as to when they get their own exclusive alternate figure or anything, considering everyone else got the EFF pack, the Crash/Cortex pack and JCBM while they still have absolutely nothing new since launch. It's kind of lame, is all.

I made a quick round today to nearest Microplays, Walmarts, BB and EB still no trace of any W3 sensei or villain besides JCBM around here.
