Well actually, Hades was just a hazard in a stage, called well hades. If they do have hades (as in the place) as a stage, yes that would be drawing a parallel, but having the character himself would not be as hades could be interpreted differently .

I was honestly hoping for Magnus because you played as him and he seems like a fighter. Palutena really doesn't fight, except in an anime short (they aren't canon, lol) and when she was controlled. But you do have a point with her being a unique addition and stuff, so... :3

Maybe they can add her temple as a stage and have her be a stage hazard

It's still Hades appearing in both games, which is weird.

I kinda doubt Nintendo would put Hades in as a playable character. Seems insignificant compared to Palutena (in Kid Icarus).

^Also, wasn't he bloody MASSIVE in Uprising? I know size isn't technically an issue, since they shrink Bowser down (although he's been normal-sized in plenty of Mario games), but we only saw Hades standing still or floating ominously, if I'm remembering correctly. He didn't move around very much. So it would be weird to see him shrunk down, running and jumping about like the other Smashers. <.<

Well he was a God but they shrunk down Palutena for her boss fight and she was just a bit taller then Pit so I can see them easily being able to shrink him if he is to be in SSB 4

I don't know about Hades but Pauletena seems more likely

Sakarai may have just accidently revealed Captain Falcon as a playable character.
He said in a recent-ish interview: some attacks such as Captain Falcon’s “Falcon Punch” might work well when there’s more players, but might not ever hit during a 1-on-1 fight.

Not that I doubt Falcon will be back (he's a Smash 64 veteran AND a fan favourite), but it would still be nice to read.

Rosalina isn't royalty. I know she's often referred to as a princess, and she has a crown, but she's not officially royalty as such. She's honestly closer to being a goddess (or at least a demi-goddess). Some people might think the Comet Observatory is her kingdom, but it's really an orphanage for lost Lumas.

And Jigglypuff doesn't deserve to go. She wasn't great in Brawl, but in Melee and Project M, Jigglypuff is a force to be reckoned with.

If you were hoping for a Palutena reveal, newcomer reveals are only happening during Nintendo Directs. Veteran reveals happen whenever, though usually coincide with the upcoming release of another game featuring that character. Lucario is an exception to this rule. Today is the 6th anniversary of Brawl, and Sakurai added a comment to his Miiverse post stating that "The production team of Brawl worked extra hard to expand the roster. Without their hard work and dedication, Lucario may never have been able to join the battle". So it seems Sakurai and his team see Lucario as a symbol of the many hardships that come with trying to implement all of these characters, hence why he was revealed on "Brawl Day" (I'm coining that term).

Makes sense actually, Lucario has a sizeable role in XY. I guess his final smash will be mega evolution then.

I personally don't see why Lucario and Mewtwo can't co-exist in the one game. Project M proved this is a fine idea, especially since even in Brawl, only one of Lucario's moves were similar to one of Mewtwo's Melee moves (their neutral B - "Shadow Sphere" for Mewtwo, "Aura Sphere" for Lucario).

I'm not a Pokémon fan anymore, so I really don't mind what Pokémon characters get in. I enjoyed both Mewtwo and Lucario in their respective Smash appearances, and as well as Project M. So either of them making it in is a good thing to me, even better if both of them make it.

Well that was unexpected, though I can't really complain, seeing as Lucario is one of my favourite Pokémon. ^.^;

Since they did Red in Brawl, I'd rather they did a Gen 2 trainer or just stuck with Red. Preferably Ethan/Gold or Lyra. Though Kris would be ok too. Calem or Serena would be nice, but I just don't really want either in SSB4. :/

Smash Bros is usually a console generation behind in series representation, if not going as old as possible. There are exceptions, such as a Sonic Lost World stage being in Smash Wii U, but most of the time it's a generation behind.
