Rouge: lets see, i think we're close to the library and the training room. sorry, if i'm not exactly the best guide. i don't actually live here, i just visit.

Aretis: *looks up* C-Could you lead me to just an outside place, please?

Rouge: outside? oh, yeah, sure. i think there's like a door that leads outside from the training room. oh, here, the training room. *walks inside* yeah, see? there's a back door that leads outside.

Aretis: *nods* O-okay... *follows silently*

Rouge: *walks over to the back door and opens it to a garden-like area with stone tiles, a fountain, ice scupltures, a skating ring, and a hot srping.* well, here we are, an ice garden, apparently.

Aretis: *runs out smiling* *is staring directly at the overhanging sun* Ahhh! *tendrils of light are visibly being absorbed into his scales. *wound heals over and he turns to Rogue* Thank you.

Rouge: *blinks* uh, your welcome. *looks a bit confused*

Aretis: *reads Rogue's expression and then looks down ashamed* Sorry, I should explain. *looks at the sun* Light dragons use light as an energy sustainer for their body. They absorb it in and use it's nutrients to feed their body. If they have light, they don't even need oxygen to breathe. It's like a backup source of energy. Sorta like plants...but cooler... It won't help me grow, but it can sustain me for a very long time. *explains, then feels really awkward* *ducks head down shyly*

Rouge: *grins* cool. i can't do anything like that. i just have the elements of Poison and Ice, and a few powers, like invisibility, illousions, and teleportation. and my mom said that as i get older, my powers will grow. not quite sure what she meant by that.

Aretis: *turns away sad*

Rouge: what's wrong?

Aretis: *shakes* Does your mother take care of you, love you, protect you from harm?

Rouge: well, yeah, but she kinda has a funny way of showing it.

Aretis: *sniffs* I'm glad for you then...

Tundra: Hmmm you dont have parents do you aretis? *He said as he walked up to him trying to comfort him*

Rouge: i may not have the best mom in the world, but i am happy to have her.

Aretis: *sigh* My parents were brutally murdered...and I saw it happen... *blinks back tears*

Rouge: *feels bad for him and wishes she could do something to help*
*then a shadow flies overhead, pausing over them*
Slean: Rouge! what are you doing over here? i left you in charge of the lair! now, get back over there before i ground you! i'm going to attempt to transport the lair back to its oringinal location, and i want you inside now!
Rouge: *sighs and looks up* but, Mom--
Slean: but nothing! we have too much to do to dawdle! say goodbye, and hurry home! *flies off to her lair*
Rouge: *sighs and looks at Aretis and Tundra* i gotta go.... *doesn't sound happy about it*

Aretis: *bows* Thank you...Princess...*one tear comes out* I-I'll take my leave. *flys off*

Rouge: *watches him leave and then flies to her lair. goes inside and walks to the magic room where Slean is* i'm here, Mom.
Slean: good. *is reading a spell book, and getting out ingreidients and other things to cast a spell* i am about ready to start.

Tundra: *Looks around and nods as he is left alone* Again alone.....well I guess I better go find aretis....

Slean: *starts to cast the spell*
Rouge: *sits quietly*
Glacier: *is walking through the hallway of the castle*

Tundra: Hmmm wonder where dad is too? Hmm maybe i should head back to mom's place. *he said heading towards her castle*

Slean: *continues chanting*
Rouge: *sighs, sits quietly*

Aretis: *flies away from castle* *looks around* I wonder if I should stay...

Glacier: *hums quietly to himself as he strolls down the hallway*

Aretis: *looks down sadly* I wish I was home...I wish they all didn't have to die...

Glacier: *walks outside and goes over to Slean's lair. he walks inside, looks around* Slean? Rouge? *looks around for them*

Aretis: *goes over to a tree and sits* I feel so alone in this cruel world...*sobs*

Firefly: *is casually walking along and sees Aretis sitting by a tree* who is that? *walks over* hey. you ok?

ooc: woah...I didn't know Firefly was in this!
Aretis: *sniffs and looks at Firefly* I-I'm fine. *lies*

Tundra: *walks around a corner and sees slean and rouge in a room chanting.* Oh snap....their gonna return the lair back to where it once was...my que to leave... *he said quietly as he walked towards the exit.*

ooc: hehe, she comes and goes.
Firefly: you don't seem fine to me.

Glacier: *is standing at the entrance to Slean's lair*
Slean: *continues to chant*
Rouge: *sits quietly, waiting for chanting to be done*

Aretis: *nods* You're right. It's just...hard...living...*reluctant to explain...a bit awkward*

Tundra: *sees glacier* Dad! dad lets get out of here! The lair is going too.....Wait what are you doing here? *he asked as he eyed him abit*

Firefly: well, i heard a saying once that went, 'living is hard, dying is easy.' it is hard to live, especially when you've been through a lot of tough times, but there's always a reason to live, you just need to find what yours is.

Glacier: i was simply visiting, that's all. so, what's this about the lair?

Aretis: *smirks* Well, that's easy. Preserve my race as long as possible. *sigh* Being the last of my kind...I'm always alone...*looks down*

Firely: heh, believe me, i know how you feel. i'm the last known Empath dragon. my ancestors were the last of my kind before i was born.

Aretis: *sigh* Maybe...but it's harder for me...*explains* I-I-I watched myself become the last of my kind. Only a few dragon years ago, I was playing happily like a young light dragon should. Why? *turns and looks at Firefly* Why did they all have to be murdered? Why did I survive? *tears brim eyes*

Me: *ahem* *whispers* Psst..Aretis, cut down on the emo alright?
Aretis: It adds more effect.
Me: Shush, just finish the conversation already and fight something.
Aretis: But...but...
Me: And one more thing: Work on your acting skills.
Aretis: *is shoved back into rp*

Firefly: *wraps wing around him* i believe you survived for a purpose. i was taught that everything happens for a reason. there's a reason we're both alive. we may be the last of our kinds, but there's a reason for that. we have to continue the legacy of our ancestors. we have to allow the Empath and Light dragons to be remembered. it is up to us to keep our kinds alive. now, i am not going to let my ancestors down, so you shouldn't let your family and friends down. they would want you to live, to be healthy and happy.

Aretis: *a tear falls* A purpose.... *notices wing around him* *blushes embarrassed* I-I guess y-you're right. Th-thank you. *faint smile* I'm sorry, I don't think we've been introduced. Hiyas, I'm Aretis! *sniffs*

Firefly: *smiles* i'm Firefly. nice to meet you.

Aretis: *small bow* Well, thank you f-for....helping me....understand...I...I... *stutters*

Firefly: your welcome.
Flash: *flies up to them from the bushes, eating part of a moth, wearing a red bandanna and a cowboy hat* yo, Firefly! you gotta try these things! they're delicious! *finishes moth*
Firefly: Flash, you probally shouldn't eat that. i mean, do you even know what it is?
Flash: bah, who cares? it tastes like chicken! *looks at Aretis* who's this guy?
Firefly: oh, this is Aretis. Aretis, this is Flash.
Flash: hey, any friend of little red here is a friend of mine, unless ya start calling me a gnat, i hate that! i'm a dragonfly, for peeps sake, people, get it right!

Aretis: Nice to meet you. I haven't seen very many dragonflies before....er...why do they call you a dragonfly? I mean, you don't exactly...look...*thinks about how to say it nicely*

Flash: heh, beats the heck outta me, kid. i just hate it when i get called something other than a dragonfly.
Firefly: many they're called dragonflies 'cause they're usually hanging around dragons.
Flash: hey, you found me first.
Firefly: yeah, you were so scared at first! *chuckles a bit*
Flash: i was not! i was er...... startled! yeah, just startled! you can't scare me, i'm fearless! i laugh in the face of danger.........! *quietly* then i hide until it goes away.....

Aretis: *shrugs* I guess so... *looks around and then leans in and whispers* Just to let you guys know, I've pretty much been traveling alone my whole life...except for the first few years so I don't exactly...umm...just forgive me if I seem a little awkward around you guys. I'm not used to 'friends' that don't kill me...er at least try...

Flash: dude, that's fine. my best friend, Rocky, usually beats me up, or at least he used to, before i decided to hang with my buddy Firefly here.
Firefly: and i'm from up north in acrtic. i was actually born there, and my dad is an ice dragon. and i made friends with a family of polar bears. it was only recently that i left to set out on a journey.

Aretis: Oh...'kay...*sighs* *turns and starts walking* *is walking toward the edge of town*

Flash: nice meeting ya! *waves goodbye. then flies off*
Firefly: Flash, you crazing dragonfly, where are you flying off to now? *rushes after him*
Flash: i'm hungry, red! i'm gonna go find mroe moths that taste like chicken!
Firefly: do you even like chicken?
Flash: never had it, but it tastes good!
Firefly: wait, what? how can you say it tastes good if you never had it?
Flash: don't try to understand my logic, little red, you'll give yourself a headache.
