Chapter 52: “To Find a Way”
(Part 2 of 3)

The sisters glared at each other, and grinned, “We’re in,” they both said. “A war? To fight for our home, in letting it live longer?! Of course I’m in!” exclaimed Rookie. “Then we have a plan at our hands,” said Midnight smiling.

~Meanwhile~

“Hm, hm, hm,” chuckled Nightsky, as he glared at his zeptar, “It’s nice to mention about me and my superior powers like that. I owe you Rookie,” as he laughed some more
“Oh! And what’s that I hear? Dragons already declaring war? Just like what any other mindless dragon would do. We immortals aren’t made to be forbidden, we live on forever!” as he raised his arms, continuing to talk to himself.

“I am through with having to live underground because there’s hardly any light at all. Laghora was right about this, no doubt, and I shall complete her mission.” He then picked up a scroll, and opened it; which contained her plan listed. “We all hate the damn fact that the Sun ruins our chance to go outside—especially at night!” As he went over it, and found an error, he questioned, “What is this? ‘Have the father—DarkShadow—persuaded into leading our army towards victory’. Is this a joke?! He failed so hard, even if he had all well villains. I should re-write this and have it to: ‘Do what ever it takes to have Dawn controlled—forever—and become the lead us towards victory’”.

As he finished writing this, he rolled up the scroll, and walked out of the master’s room. The scroll opened itself out, as Nightsky’s writing vanished; with the old plan to itself again.

~Back to the group~

“So…the plan is to gather all allies—even if it means to have foes on our side?” said Sally, making sure. “That’s correct,” replied Wanderist. “It’s the end of the world, we need anyone to help save our home,” added Rookie. “That’s when you guys come along,” said Midnight, “everyone needs to split up to find all the ones you know and need.”

“We just found each other, and now we have to leave…” responded Wanderist. “We’ll be together again, I promise,” replied Rookie, kissing her. “Ugh! Get a room!” exclaimed Sally. Midnight chuckled, as she heard a rattle in the bushes—behind her.

Dang! It’s been a while now since I’ve written anything about Nightsky and such. Well, here it is at last, and it doesn’t seem so pretty to greet them back—they too got a plan, you know. *cough* And a suckish plan at that! Laghora wants DarkShadow added to there team! Chapter 53: “To Find a Way”
(Part 3)

As the three allies began to start a conversation, Midnight walked over to the bushes. She smiled as she said, “It’s alright, my daughter, I’m here.” As she separated them, she saw Dawn—with a shock look on her face. Tears were running down, as her mother then responded, “I assume you figured it out.” “Why?” she whispered, in an innocent voice. “Why?” she said, raising her voice. “Why?!” she repeated, showing her teeth. “WHY?!” she roared out, as her markings appeared. Midnight stepped back, while Dawn moved toward her.

“Why did you keep him away from me? Why didn’t you tell me that he wasn’t dead? Because of this: I went through a lot of emotions; I went CRAZY!” she started. “Is this all because of when your husband was corrupted? Are you trying to do the same damn thing to me?! Just to show me how it feels to be broken?! Well, you’ve succeeded very well because you just made me so pissed off!!” she yelled at her mother, ready to transform into ShadowWing. Her mother stopped, as her eyes closed—beginning to chant her spell.

“Hey! Is everything alright?! I heard a yell—” Rookie said, walking into a predicament, with the sisters behind him. “Not again,” the three had said, as they glared at Dawn. “I can handle this, you just get some cover,” replied Midnight. Dawn’s eyes began to glow, but not in the usual way—for they were red this time. “Uh…I’m no genius when it comes to corruption…but I’m pretty sure that her eyes shouldn’t be glowing like that at all,” exclaimed Rookie. “You’re right! Now let’s go!” responded Wanderist, as she grabbed her boyfriend and ran off with Sally.

As Midnight began to chant her spell again, Dawn fought her off. The three hide behind a boulder, as they began to talk. “Wouldn’t you think those red eyes came from…you know…” Sally began. “When her father took over her?” asked her sister. “Yeah.” “Perhaps his powers rubbed off of her,” said Rookie. “Which is not good at all!” Wanderist added. They then ended there speech, as they watched the mother and daughter—fighting.

ShadowWing snarled so viciously that she was just craving for blood to be tasted in her mouth. “I know you’re in there Dawn, you’re laid in dormant. Just find a way out and fight!” Midnight cried out. “And a fight you’ll receive!” she hissed. “Don’t make me do this,” Midnight whispered. ShadowWing rose up and swished her horns towards Midnight’s waist. Only getting pushed aside, she received a long cut. “Is that really all you got?!” she yelled to her. ShadowWing growled, as her eyes continued to glow red even more.

“Now she’s done it,” said Wanderist. “No kidding,” replied Sally. “Just imagine her getting controlled! ShadowWing may just even command her to attack us!” said Rookie, getting freaked out. “Oh, thanks for calming us down!” Sally exclaimed. “Shhh!” Wanderist said, as she pointed to the real problem. “Hmph, I thought you would go there,” Midnight smirked. Just as ShadowWing raised her claw up, Midnight’s eyes turned white, as her body began to fade its colors slowly…

Wanderist: Good going, Midnight, you ticked off your own daughter.

Sally: Yeep.

Me: *coughs* Anyway, awesome job!

Midnight: Well, actually it's her alter ego.
Dawn:

Chapter 54: “An Over Come”

“Hmm,” thought the corrupted dragoness, as she smirked—ready to begin a vicious battle. Midnight’s wings and head began to rise up; she was clearing her mind and soul, as her body continued to fade its colors. “Wow,” cried out the three, in awe. “What’s she doing?” Sally questioned. “I don’t know,” Rookie replied. ShadowWing breathed in as her hand was still raised up, as it turned into a glowing bloody red color. Midnight’s eyes were colors, as she was now fully transformed into a ghostly spirit. “You’ve gone through a lot lately, and now it’s time to become yourself—once again—permanently,” she said, in a whispering voice. “I am myself; to know that I had to go through many experiences, and be unleashed, once and for all!” she yelled, now using her hypnotizing power.

Before taking affect, she whispered to herself, “And to be unleashed, is what you will be.” Midnight took a quick glance at her, as she then rapidly flew over to ShadowWing’s body. “Whoa!” the three exclaimed, as there eyes widen. “Is she...is she overshadowing her?!” Sally cried. “Can she really do that?” Wanderist replied. Growling and snarling, wincing and shrieking: ShadowWing was trying so hard to get Midnight out of her body. “Get…out…of me!” she cried out, with her eyes pressed shut. Seconds later her body gave up, as her mother took fully control over ShadowWing. Mostly everything was changed in a split moment. She was now calm as she slightly bowed before her allies; with her eyes still shut.

The three cautiously walked out from behind the boulder, as Wanderist first responded, “Midnight…are you…is that you?” Her eyes finally opened, as they were from bloody-red to innocent blue. “As you can well see,” she answered back, softly. They all grinned gently, as Rookie said, “That was amazing you did back there!” “Yeah, who knew!” Sally exclaimed. “Apparently I did,” she began, “since I’m some what immortalized, I could harness, not a power nor an element, but its properties.” “That’s true, of course,” Wanderist interrupted. “Yes,” she agreed, and continued, “and some secrets are for surprises—hence the overshadowing—and some just need to be kept hidden,” she ended with a smile, but then thought of what she said, and frowned. “Is that why you kept Pablo a secret?” questioned Rookie, “so that you wouldn’t harm yourself and or others?” “Indeed…but that secret would have been exposed sooner or later,” she replied, “It’s going to be a long talk with my daughter. Perhaps you should be going off, finding your allies and foes.”

The sisters nodded as they said there final good-byes and a “last” kiss from the couple. As they flew off, Rookie stood behind, and said, “I’m staying here with Dawn. I’m pretty sure that she knows most of where all the allies are at.” “You have none?” “Not really…no. I mostly spent my early years finding a place—I was left behind,” he said sadly, but then continued, “When I did, it was a place for war preparations, and made me a map maker; that’s a long story.” He ended. Midnight smiled gloomily as she patted his head, and started to get out of ShadowWing’s body. As she was her normal self, the both glared at Dawn—who began to shrink down to her regular self and size. As she was completed, a shining glow came out from around her body. Midnight’s eyes widen for a short moment, as she then told herself, “I knew it.”

Wanderist: NUUUU!!! I WANNA STAY WITH ROKKIEEEEE!!!!

Sally: Oh,shut up! I'm sure you'll see each other again...in 100 years!

Wanderist:

Fireball: Ugh... IT'S A FREAKING STORY.

Me: Um...anyway, awesome job! Can't wait to see that next chapter!

Chapter 55: “Tell Me No (More) Lies”
(Part 1 of 2)

“Dawn?” Rookie spoke softly to her, “you okay?” Dawn got up and opened her eyes to first see her mother. She quickly looked away from her and responded,” Yes, yes I am.” She looked up to see Rookie, and smiled, “C’mon we’ve got…to get…moving,” as she then looked around to find her other two allies. “Where are Wanderist and Sally?” “We’ve finally got a plan at our hands; a way to save our home!” Rookie responded, “But first we need to gather ALL allies—ever our foes.” “So they left?” “Yeah, but not for long.” “Who….planned this?” Dawn questioned, as she turned around to face her mother. “I have; and it will be a good one, I promise.” “Dawn’s head lowered and she murmured, “How could I trust you?”

She then looked up to see her again and said, “We need to talk.” “About—” “How could I ever trust you? You kept him a secret! You know how bad I was feeling,” she continued, not letting her mother speak. “Dawn.” “Please…” she pled, getting gloomy. “A talk; is that what you need? “It’s what we need. Just promise me one thing: Tell me no more lies, secrets, anything! I just want to trust my mother again.” “Fine with me,” Midnight replied, leading the way to where they could have a discussion—privately. “Rookie, stay here, if you don’t mind. This is a mother and daughter talk,” Dawn said, as she followed her. Rookie nodded as he watched them disappear. He sighed and told himself, “I’m alone again,” as lied down; with his two front claws on his snout.

As they reached to a place far away for privacy, Midnight questioned, “I still don’t understand why we must do this.” “Ever since you’ve lied, I believed. Ever since I saw and spoke to Pablo, I became so angry, confused…just mixed emotions. This just hit me so hard, I need to get things cleared out,” Dawn responded. “Then, let’s begin,” her mother said, hiding her sorrow, “from the beginning of when I had to create lies and secrets. The secrets were to be hidden because I did not wanted to ruin the excitement of others, while some could harm loved ones; and that goes the same for the lies. “Okay then, let’s just start from the least to the greatest.” As Dawn sat down, ready to listen, her mother began the discussion, “It was from the day when the war had ended: Your powers that combined with Pablo’s were extreme! When you two unleashed the Fury of One, all of that power was then planted out all over the world. It was too much to have it handled and settled down quickly.” “What are you saying? That, that power caused the world to begin dieing?” she exclaimed.

“Not entirely,” she progressed, “it comes a time when the world turns weaker and weaker; much like what we become. When that power was exposed, it just made like a huge crack. That crack continued to split and split every year. I’ve hidden this; I knew that something like ‘ending the world from darkness’ was too simple. I felt that Nature was splitting…are you getting this?” “Yes, yes I am,” she said, with guilt. “I sense shame in you my daughter.” “I—WE made a huge push for the world to end near. We could have just let this be, letting ourselves lose.” “Now what would that accomplish? Besides everyone was ignorant of what was going on with our home. Others—before you ever used the power—were already causing harm to our world. The war is one of them; it’s all of our fault, not just one or two. We must, what we must, there’s nothing to do about it,” her mother spoke, calming her daughter.
Dawn smiled, as things were beginning to clear out. She needs to be cleared in order to make plans and choices. If nothing was done, her mind would be crowded, and that would mess a lot of things up…..

Okay, I finally finished writing a past story of one of my dragons. Here it goes :

~IceWind’s Past Story: P.O.V:

Believe it or not, but I was once a happy little child. Yet, even though I wasn’t around to see my parents—just for once—I was okay living with my other family. We lived a simple, peaceful life in our land—which was located close to the snowy mountains. We were all proud and no one had hatred in them; I lived in a peaceful world, as she lived in a more deadly world. That’s when one day it just clashed with another. THAT’S when I met her…

I was playing around by myself in the icy cold forest. I loved to have fun by myself because I could actually use my imagination, without anyone else budging in it. You could say that I was lonesome, but I say that I was in my own world doing whatever I can do—even if it was limited. All my dreams suddenly crashed and as I heard a faint yell, I ran towards it. Have I mentioned that we are some what curious and would do anything if there is trouble about? Well anyways, I went deeper and deeper inside the forest, as I heard some scuffling in a couple bushes. I separated them, and at the same time, a small young dragoness leaped out from it. She crashed into me and I felt her shaking; before I could ask anything, I figured out what was the problem.

A huge, giant troll stomped towards us with a spiky club that had blood stains. My eyes widen, as I quickly checked to see if she was wounded. She was clear, as we were both lying there—paralyzed. He grinned so viscously that I even recall seeing his teeth stained with blood. I was really terrified for the first time of my life; I see how the world isn’t so black and white. Without any warning he then raised his club up—big enough to squish the both of us. At the same moment as was about to swing at us, I let my full anger show—first time as well. I let out various ice shards—aiming at the hand he was griping on to the club. As he grunted and let loose of it, we rapidly got up as the young girl blew a forceful amount of fire at his weapon—turning it into ashes. I grinned at her and then continued to attack him. I created a huge blizzard, which the armor he had on, flew off. As he was also thrown back, I made a decision and ran after him. Good thing she stayed back because I wasn’t gonna let him live.

I charged so hard towards him, I even saw him shiver with fear—not so tough now, huh? As he saw me running, he waved his hands saying ‘no’ a couple of times—those last words of a wuss. I snarled as I leaped—all at the same time—I yelled out, “You should have thought twice!” as I stabbed him close to his heart. He tumbled down as I pulled myself off of him, and I thought, “What if she comes here?” She would think twice that our kind aren’t so peace loving; Foolish me. Now I had to cover him up with snow, and made it seem like a small hill. The blood was beginning to stick more on to my horns, as scrubbed them off hard. I then ran off to find that little one, just to see her waiting there was fear still in her. “No worries,” I smiled, as if nothing ever happened, “I scared him off.” She smiled with warmth as she questioned, “Who are you?” As we exchanged our names and some stories, I finally had the nerve to question, “Why did he attack you?”

FireStar replied that he wasn’t the only one to attack her; it was a whole troop of those nasty things. There home land was located close to those trolls, and they had some difficulties agreeing. It was a small battle they created, as they burned down the home. Many of the dragons she saw—hiding—was being chewed up. Get those things angry enough and they will be craving for some dragon meat. She felt so disgusted and so terrified, she screamed so loud for a near-by troll to hear. Being spotted, she ran off, as we both met. I was amused, filled with goose bumps and a whole lot of other emotions—it took me a few seconds to responded back; ‘Wow’ is all I worked out to say, so speechless. I then took her to my village where she could be fed and cared for…of course that’s what I was imagining. I smelled fires and near by blood on the snow, my eyes widen, “Oh no.” We both ran off as we stood right before my home being attacked. I assume some other tolls followed her, and searched around for more dragons. I growled as we both watched the terrifying fight that was going on—I knew we lose quickly. We don’t fight much; we never even meet up with so much chaos like them. I felt my eyes turn as red as I roared out so loud, “NOO!!” as the trolls stopped and glared at us. “Oh boy,” I said, feeling stupid; I quickly asked her if she knows how to fly. With an answer that got me more frustrated, I had to grab her and place her on my back. I was five years older than her, so I had some strength and knew how to fly—but not so very far. “Hold on!” I yelled, as I rapidly flew off of that place. ‘Good-bye’ I thought to myself, with many tears rolling down from my eyes. Oh, those memories had gone all at once, which was just too hard to handle….

Over the months and years, I grew angrier and losing my old personality; I am my alter ego. We both became our differences than how we were back at our homes. I was a happy little dragon, with love and peace inside of me. Now: a rage full and ‘I can’t trust you’ dragon. FireStar was a confidence, rough playing child; now: just a timid, feared, no more fighting ‘sister’. Yet I was only kind enough to my ‘sister’ FireStar, as I continued to protect her with all my might; this is my past life story.
