"... Oh no..." Sybil said quietly, practically in the verge if tears. She could feel the dark aura, and knew immediately Shadow was full of rage and power.
"Guardian stop! He's too strong!" Sybil urged, believing nobody deserved to deal with Shadow. With her fear getting the best of her, she got off the rhino and started to run, underestimating the freedom Shadow had in that world...

Sybil didn't answered that question. While it was true that she always faced him in life, his spirit was way more scarier and sinister. She tried not to show him fear, but it was as if her body was acting against her.
"Why can't you just move on? Why can't you leave us alone?" the trembling civet asked, trying to find an opening and resume her escape. But she knew that with Shadow's overwhelming power in that world, he wasn't going to let her. The only way was to wake up, but she was still too exhausted...

Rumble looked at Guardian and said "wait or act?" Guardian replied with "act" he became the form he had before he became a cobra and readied his machete. Rumble stood ready to fight. while Guardian wasn't as strong as shadow he wasn't acting alone. with 2 verses 1 the odds started to turn against shadows favor.

Sybil didn't dare to look behind, but she could hear Guardian's group trying to cut their way out of the thorns. In order to try to buy them some time, she tried to talk to Shadow, so that she could do what she did best; trying to bluff her way out of danger like she has done so many times before.
"It's such a shame for you Shadow. You refuse to move on because your senseless sense of revenge is keeping you here. What about that little blessing you gave to the Haven before you died? Was that a lie?" Sybil asked, still remembering the Komodo dragon's last words before Cairo killed him.

yet the two weren't get out as they were ready to fight him. Guardian says "that's right Crocux told me about that and really if I wasn't wounded I would've stopped them from killing you all together."

Sybil watched behind her and saw how easily Shadow was able to restrain the rhino with just the thought. But while the Komodo dragon was distracted, Sybil quietly walked besides him, and once behind him, she tried to make her escape once more, looking everywhere inside that horrid nightmare that would make her wake up...

Sybil looked as all her surrounding returned exactly the way it always was every time she visited Guardian, and feeling ashamed of having feared him, she yelled, trying to reassure herself.
"Is that what you want! For me to for you!? Well not anymore! I'm tired of cowering! I won't let you get the best of me!" she yelled, now angry at Shadow after learning that his last words were just a joke to him.

Sybil waited for a while, expecting Shadow to jump out of nowhere any minute. But when no answer came, she headed to see how Guardian and his friends were doing.
"Are you guys alright?" she asked, feeling guilty for what happened to them. As she waited for an answer, she could feel her body fading away, so before Guardian answered, she spoke once more.
"Please. Don't face Shadow again. I... I could feel his rage. He's mad! Please Guardian, don't come into my dream again. I'll find a way to defeat him. This is a battle I have to face alone." Sybil expressed, really terrified with the thought that Shadow could destroy their spirits forever if they pushed his temper too far, and she wasn't going to have any of that in her conscience.

when shadow left Rumble was free. Guardian says "we're fine." before she left he said "that's were ur wrong sis. every battle you have ever fought you were never alone and I wont let that start any time soon. besides if he was mad then we can take him. after all, our family has dealt with far worse. besides, if I had a say about it he would still be alive and to this day would be punished for his actions the right way."

"That's just it! He's this powerful because of me!" Sybil said, feeling that it was his fault for not finding another punishment other than death.
"Please just stay out of this! I'll orient myself on how to defeat him! If something happens to you... many warblers have died because I didn't pay attention! I won't have more suffering like that!" Sybil yelled, knowing she won't be able to get over Guardian or his friends being destroyed because Shadow was after her. But before the cobra could assure her, her time in that world was up. She fade away from the dream completely.

Sybil woke up, trembling and panting. It was still night, about 3:00a.m. It didn't help that it was quite windy outside too. Her eyes were still tired, but there was no way she was going to be able to sleep after that terrifying ordeal. Of course, she knew she couldn't stay awake forever, so she had to prepare herself somehow to face Shadow. She started pondering on who on the Haven or Hunted island could possibly know about spirits, and to pass time until morning, she started to make paintings in her tree...

OOC: Clever. Just when I was thinking on what to do with this new plot and what character to use

Cole woke up early that morning, right before the sun appeared. He went to check on Sybil. The poor civet was so exhausted, she was dozing off and didn't noticed the kea's presence. He decided to leave her be, and provided an improvised door made of moss to prevent the chilly air to get into her home.

OOC: You have to specify what type of crow is if you can. I don't think there are many species that live in the outback, unless this one chose to.

Sybil momentarily opened her eyes, and was quite relieved to see that she was not alone.
"Oh, sorry I came uninvited. I thought you needed the company." Cole said gently, showing his sensitive side.

"No, no. It's alright. I did need the company. I had the most terrible nightmare." Sybil said, not hoing into detail since she didn't want to worry anyone. She wasn't sure if her dream was just a nightmare or if Shadow had indeed returned. Unfortunately, the latter seemed the most likely possibility, especially since Guardian appeared. As Sybil went deep in thought to think how she was going to deal with this new situation, Cole was about to give her some comfort when he heard some wings flapping. It couldn't be a warbler, and it was certainly not a kea, so he went in front of Sybil's entrance to protect her and looked around carefully in case there was danger...

in his home Crocux opened his eyes and turned to leave his home to see Sybil. Guardian tried to bring him up to speed and Crocux wanted to comfort his aunt. so he left his cave and headed to Sybil's place.

Cole payed close attention to his surroundings, very sure that he was hearing some strange flappings.
"Cole? Is everything alright?" Sybil asked, but he simply moved his wings to indicate her to be quiet. He then heard leaves rustling, but this time, it was on the ground. He then looked below and could see an all too familiar large animal heading to the tree. Crocux's home wasn't that far of Sybil's after all.

"Looks like you have a visitor." Cole indicated, with Sybil seeing who it is. She gave a faint smile and got ready to receive the crocodile while Cole kept guard...

"And you are?" Cole asked, looking at Sybil, who was heading towards Crocux and didn't seem to notice the new visitor...

"Spiritual seer?" Cole said, not understanding anything. He didn't see the raven as a threat, so he called to Sybil below.
"Hey Mistress! You have another visit." Cole called, hoping Crocux wouldn't get upset at his own visit being interrupted.

"Yes?" Sybil said, calling back, when she saw the raven.
"Oh? Hey. Who's your friend?" Sybil called, not knowing if that was a crow or a raven, but she has never seen one out there, and believed it may be another guest.

"She's not my friend. She came requesting you and the young Miss Rose." Cole explained, intending to stay and see what business did the raven had, and the strange character she seemed to be representing.

"Yes. That is me." Sybil said, now really believing the bird was another animal looking for sanctuary at the Haven.
"Did you come here for residence?" she said, not hearing about the seer she mentioned earlier.

"To the outback!?" Sybil and Cole said at once, with the civet now suspecting something was very wrong.
"Do forgive me, but I'm not going there. The outback is a forbidden place for those of us who live here." Sybil explained, being very cleared with the rules. If somebody was requesting her and Rose to go to the outback, she was suspecting a trap.

"Shadow!?!" Sybil exclaimed, expecting the worst. How did Shadow's name got into the ears of the outback community? In a desperate attemp to receive answers, Sybil accepted her proposition, but under one condition...

"Fine. I'll go with you... BUT... I will be the one to go. I won't expose Rose to the dangers of the outback." Sybil said stoically, determined to have Rose out of this one.

Crocux put what happened together and said "if that's the case then I'll be your escort. and don't try to talk me out of it because I already made up my mind. this Haven is as much as my responsibility as it is yours. while we're gone Rose can be acting administrator of Haven since she will need the practice."

Sybil sighed, but not because of Crocux, but because of what the raven said.
"Alright Crocux. I trust you this time." she assured the crocodile, welcoming him for once to the expedition since he would provide much protection, though she was worried on how he could handle the morning sun. She then turned to the raven.

"And you! I told you already! I'm NOT going to expose Rose's life! Why does she has to be present? Whatever your mistress says to me, I can tell Rose! She doesn't have to come!" Sybil insisted, not wanting in any way to have Rose endager herself again like she did yesterday.

"Blessing? Seer? Caracal?" Sybil repeated, having quite a lot of trouble understanding everything.

"Alright. Now I know I'm missing a lot here! Can somebody explain? And why does she keeps saying Shadow?" Cole exclaimed, with Sybil having forgotten that he was still there. He couldn't understand how somebody needed protection from somebody who was already dead, since he didn't believe in ghosts and all those stuff. He was a witness now though, so Sybil was going to make sure he understood in the proper time.

"It's really a long story Cole. Please don't let anybody know about this. Just do me a favor and get Rose here." Sybil said, with Cole immediately flying off. He wanted to know also what was going on. Sybil then looked at the raven, expecting more explanations...

With that information, Sybil's confirmed what she had last night was not a nightmare, but a genuine visit from Shadow's vengeful spirit.
"But why now? Why does your mistress wants to help us? And how did she knows about Shadow?" Sybil demanded to know, finding it all too strange. She didn't trust the residents of the outback, so she believed that was all either a ruse or the caracal was looking for something in return.

Cole reached Sayan's den with ease, and not knowing if they were awake or not, he called anyway.
"Young miss Rose! Mistress Sybil has requested you at her home. Sorry to wake you up if you're there, but this is kinda urgent." Cole yelled, using e echo of the cave so his voice would carry on better.

"I have no idea. But you must go to Sybil's tree immediately." Cole repeated, ready to escort her.

Sybil rolled her eyes, believing there was more to the story.
"Uh huh. So, why does your mistress wants to help? What's in it for her?" Sybil asked, noticing the raven left that answer out. She really didn't trust the residents of the outback.

"Kill? How is that even possible. That stupid..." Sybil said, furious about everything now. Just when she thought the Shadow threat was over. Wasn't there a way for that jerk of a reptile to leave them all alone.
"I'll go with you as soon as Rose arrives, but only cause I'm desperate. Shadow said he was going to return, so Sybil wasn't going to take any chances.

"Let's go young miss. We don't want to keep the lady Sybil waiting." Cole urged, mostly because he really wanted to know what was going on.

"Ugh! How is that even possible! Why is it so hard for that stupid Komodo dragon to leave us alone already!?" Sybil yelled in a fit of frustration, angry that she couldn't get the peace she intended for the Haven.

As Cole escorted Rose to Sybil's tree, the sky was seen with some warblers flying off. A major exodus was happening. About three fourths of the population that remained were moving to Hunted island to escape the python, since as invincible as the snake was to them, they doubted it would swim to that island with waters full of orcas. They worried however, about the few warblers that decided to stay behind, including their de facto leader, Peepers, since they didn't trust the big reptiles's word.

"Well I was in the meeting. And the mistress did say that they had a choice to leave if they wanted to. After all, all they had is that python's words, and that's not very reassuring." Cole said, as he looked up the sky, but as he estimated the numbers, he could tell that not all the warblers were leaving.

"Well she better! She is my only hope." Sybil replied, truly desperate to seek the help of somebody that lived in the outback.

"It's the outback Rose. We need to go there. Now don't worry here. Crocux here will protect us." Sybil explained, as the group headed their way. Sbil saw Rose and didn't seem any signs of trauma or insomnia, so she imagined that Shadow hasn't visited her... yet. She found strange how Shadow decided to visit her and not Rose, whom he had his original vendetta. Was it because Sybil didn't show any mercy when Shadow was executed?

Sybil imagined the raven was going to take them to that tiny opening that was the only way into that arid place. She just wanted to get that over with. With Cole accompanying them and being the eyes in the sky, plus Crocux's toothy protection, she was confident that if that turned out to be a trap, they would be able to get out.

Crocux was ready to escort them and when they left he would stay with them no matter what happened.
